Illustrator is vector graphics software first developed in 1976 that is used to create professional logos and graphics. It allows users to create illustrations and layouts using shapes, text, and images which can be scaled or modified without loss of quality. Common tools in Illustrator include selection, text, and shape tools for drawing various objects, as well as navigation and zoom tools. Shortcuts allow efficient editing of paths, selections, and text. Illustrator outputs high resolution graphics for both print and web.
