This document proposes an energy efficient framework for data collection in wireless sensor networks using prediction. The framework uses clustering, where sensor nodes are organized into clusters with a cluster head. The cluster head can enable or disable local prediction at sensor nodes to reduce data transmission. When prediction is enabled, sensors only transmit data if the value differs from the predicted value by more than a threshold. Sensors can also sleep when not transmitting to save energy. The document evaluates the performance of this framework through simulations, finding it reduces energy consumption compared to alternatives by integrating prediction with sleep/awake cycles.

In this paper, we explored the possibility of using Genetic Algorithm (GA) being used in Wireless Sensor Networks in general with
specific emphasize on Fault tolerance. In Wireless sensor networks, usually sensor and sink nodes are separated by long communication
distance and hence to optimize the energy, we are using clustering approach. Here we are employing improved K-means clustering algorithm to

disrupted. This technique is simulated using Matlab software to check energy consumption and lifetime of the network. Based on the
simulation results, we concluded that this model shows significant improvement in energy consumption rate and network lifetime than other

Abstract Wireless sensor network (WSNs) are self-organized systems that depend on highly distributed and scattered low cost tiny devices. These devices have some limitations such as processing capability, memory size, communication distance coverage and energy capabilities. In order to maximize the autonomy of individual nodes and indirectly the lifetime of the network, most of the research work is done on power saving techniques. Hence, we propose energy-aware load distribution technique that can provide an excellent data transfer of packets from source to destination via hop by hop basis. Therefore, by making use of the cross-layer interactions between the physical layer and the network layer thus leads to an improvement in energy efficiency of the entire network when compared with other protocols and it also improves the response time in case of network change. Energy Efficient Multipath Data Fusion Technique for Wireless Sensor NetworksIDES Editor
In wireless sensor networks (WSN), data fusion
should be energy efficient. But, determining the optimal
number of aggregators in an energy efficient manner is a
challenging task. Moreover, the existing data fusion
techniques mostly use the same path for transmitting
aggregated data to the sink which reduces the nodes lifetime.
In this paper, we propose a technique which combines energy
efficiency and multiple path selection for data fusion in WSN.
The network is partitioned into various clusters and the node
with highest residual energy is selected as the cluster head.
The sink computes multiple paths to each cluster head for
data transmission. The distributed source coding and the
lifting scheme wavelet transform are used for compressing
the data at the CH. During each round of transmission, the
path is changed in a round robin manner, to conserve the
energy. This process is repeated for each cluster. From our
simulation results we show that this data fusion technique
has less energy consumption with increased packet delivery
ratio, when compared with the existing schemes.

EFFICIENT HIERARCHICAL ROUTING PROTOCOL IN SENSOR NETWORKSijassn
Wireless sensor network (WSN) is the network of hundreds and thousands of micro-sensor nodes,
connecting each other by a wireless medium.WSN provide reliable sensing of the environment, detecting
and reporting events to the sink. One of the most important constraints of WSN is energy consumption.
Since the micro sensors are small in dimension, batteries are necessary to produce power to the network. In
this paper, we have proposed an algorithm for hierarchy based protocols of wireless sensor networks,
which consist of two groups of sensor nodes in a single cluster node. Each cluster consists of a three cluster
head. The event driven data sensing mechanism is used in this paper and this sensed data is transmitted to
the master section head. The gathered data is transmitted to the sink via mobile agent. Hence efficient way
of data transmission is possible with larger group of nodes. In this approach of using hierarchy based
protocols; the lifetime of the sensor network is increased. This paper proposes an innovative approach of
cluster head election. The results are compared with LEACH protocol and proved to be energy efficient.

ENERGY EFFICIENT MULTIHOP QUALITY PATH BASED DATA COLLECTION IN WIRELESS SENS...Editor IJMTER
In recent years there has been an increased focus on the use of sensor networks to sense and measure
the environment. This leads to a wide variety of theoretical and practical issues on appropriate protocols for data
sensing and transfer. Recent work shows sink mobility can improve the energy efficiency in wireless sensor
networks (WSNs). However, data delivery latency often increases due to the speed limit of mobile sink. Most of
them exploit mobility to address the problem of data collection in WSNs. The WSNs with MS (mobile Sink) and
provide a comprehensive taxonomy of their architectures, based on the role of the MS. An overview of the data
collection process in such a scenario, and identify the corresponding issues and challenges. A protocol named
weighted rendezvous planning (WRP) which is a heuristic method that finds a near-optimal traveling tour that
minimizes the energy consumption of sensor nodes. Focus on the path selection problem in delay-guaranteed
sensor networks with a path-constrained mobile sink. Concentrate an efficient data collection scheme, which
simultaneously improves the total amount of data and reduces the energy consumption. The optimal path is chosen
to meet the requirement on delay as well as minimize the energy consumption of entire network. Predictable sink
mobility is exploited to improve energy efficiency of sensor networks.

Proactive Data Reporting of Wireless sensor Network using Wake Up Scheduling ...ijsrd.com
In Wireless Sensor Network (WSNs), gather the data by using mobile sinks has become popular. Reduce the number of messages which is used for sink location broadcasting, efficient energy data forwarding, become accustomed to unknown earthly changes are achieved by a protocol which is projected by a SinkTrail. The forecast of mobile sinks’ location are done by using logical coordinate system. When sensor nodes don’t have any data to send, at that time they switch to sleep mode to save the energy and to increase the network lifetime. And due to this reason there is a chance of the involvement of nodes that are in sleeping state between the path sources to the mobile sink which is selected by the SinkTrail protocol. Before become the fully functional and process the information, these sleeping nodes can drop the some information. Due to this reason, it is vital to wake-up the sleeping nodes on the path earlier than the sender can start transferring of sensed data. In this paper, on-demand wake-up scheduling algorithm is projected which is used to activates sleeping node on the path before data delivery. Here, in this work the multi-hop communication in WSN also considers. By incorporating wake-up scheduling algorithm to perk up the dependability and improve the performance of on-demand data forwarding extends the SinkTrail solution in our work. This projected algorithm improves the quality of service of the network by dishonesty of data or reducing the loss due to sleeping nodes. The efficiency and the effectiveness projected solution are proved by the evaluation results.

routing isa hierarchy (based on clustering) method.
In The present study with the objective of cutting down energy consumption and persistence of
network coverage, we have offered a novel algorithm based on clustering algorithms and multihop routing. To achieve this goal, first, we layer the network environment based on the size of the
network. We will identify the optimal number of cluster heads and every cluster head based on
the mechanism of topology control will start to accept members.Likewise, we set the first layer
as gate layer and subsequently identifying the gate’s nodes, we’d turn away half of the sensors
and then stop using energy and the remaining nodes in this layer will join the gate’s nodes
because they hold a critical part in bettering the functioning of the system. Cluster heads off
following layers send the information to cluster heads in the above layer until sent data will be
sent to gate’s nodes and finally will be sent to sink. We have tested the proposed algorithm in
two situations 1) when the sink is off and 2)when a sink is on and simulation data shows that
proposed algorithm has better performance in terms of the life span of a network than LEACH
and ELEACH protocols.
Concealed Data Aggregation with Dynamic Intrusion Detection System to Remove ...csandit
Data Aggregation is a vital aspect in WSNs (Wireless Sensor Networks) and this is because it
reduces the quantity of data to be transmitted over the complex network. In earlier studies
authors used homomorphic encryption properties for concealing statement during aggregation
such that encrypted data can be aggregated algebraically without decrypting them. These
schemes are not applicable for multi applications which lead to proposal of Concealed Data

With the faster growing in electronics industry, small inexpensive battery powered wireless sensors have made an impact on the communications with the physical world. The Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) consists of hundreds of sensor nodes which are resource constrained. WSN nodes monitor various physical and environmental conditions very cooperatively. WSN uses various nodes for the communication. WSN has become one of the interested areas in the field of research from last few years. To enhance the lifetime of the whole networks energy reduction is the necessary consideration for design and analyse of the clustering and routing protocols. This paper describes the study of various energy efficient routing protocols in WSNs which are important for their designing purpose so as to meet the various resource constraints.
Electrically small antennas: The art of miniaturizationEditor IJARCET
We are living in the technological era, were we preferred to have the portable devices rather than unmovable devices. We are isolating our self rom the wires and we are becoming the habitual of wireless world what makes the device portable? I guess physical dimensions (mechanical) of that particular device, but along with this the electrical dimension is of the device is also of great importance. Reducing the physical dimension of the antenna would result in the small antenna but not electrically small antenna. We have different definition for the electrically small antenna but the one which is most appropriate is, where k is the wave number and is equal to and a is the radius of the imaginary sphere circumscribing the maximum dimension of the antenna. As the present day electronic devices progress to diminish in size, technocrats have become increasingly concentrated on electrically small antenna (ESA) designs to reduce the size of the antenna in the overall electronics system. Researchers in many fields, including RF and Microwave, biomedical technology and national intelligence, can benefit from electrically small antennas as long as the performance of the designed ESA meets the system requirement.

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!

communication and computation. To support prediction techniques,
energy is consumed on communication(e.g., sending and receiving
sensor data) and computation(e.g., processing sensor data and
calculating a predicted value). Motivated by this observation, we
analytically study how to determine whether a prediction technique
is beneficial in this paper, qualitatively derive sufficient conditions
for this and reveal that the decision is a function of both the desired
error bound and the correlation among the sensor data values. For
instance, when the error bound is very tight or the correlation is not
significant, a sensor node always has to send its data to the cluster
head. The second challenge is due to the characteristics and inherent
dynamics of the sensor data. When the data distribution, in
particular the data locality, evolves overtime, prediction techniques
may not work well for a set of less predictable data. Global re
clustering is costly if it is initiated periodically.
B. Energy Consumption and Predictor
A sensor network consists of a set of autonomous sensor nodes
which spontaneously create communication links, and then,
collectively perform tasks without help from any central servers. In
sensor networks, accurate data extraction is difficult; it is often too
costly to obtain all sensor readings, as well as not necessary in the
sense that the readings themselves only represent samples of the true
state of the world. As such, one technique so called prediction
emerges to exploit the temporal correlation of sensor data.
Technology trends in recent years have resulted in sensors‟
increasing processing power and capacity [5]. Implementing more
sophisticated distributed algorithms in a sensor network becomes
possible.
Predictor is one of the important techniques, which uses the past
input values from the sensors in order to perform the prediction
operations. The existence of such prediction capability implies that
the sensors do not need to transmit the data values if they differ from
a predicted value by less than a certain prespecified threshold, or
error bound. A simple approach to developing a predictor in sensor
networks is simply to transmit the data from all sensors to the base
station (i.e., the sink), which has been realized in many previous
studies [6], [10], and [2]. Predictor training and prediction
operations are carried out by the base station only, but not the sensor
nodes, despite their increasing computing capacity.
This solution while practical has many disadvantages,
such as a high energy consumption incurred by transmitting the raw
data to the base station, the need for wireless link bandwidth, and
potential high latency.
1) Adaptive scheme to enable/disable prediction
Operations
Consider a cluster of sensor nodes, which can be awake or
sleeping. If the sensor nodes are sleeping, the prediction problem is
reduced to estimating data distribution parameters using history
data. In this case the estimates are already available. If the sensor
nodes are awake, they continuously monitor an attribute x and
generate a data value at every time instance t . Without local
prediction capability at the cluster head, a sensor node has to send all
data values to the cluster head that estimates data distribution
accordingly. With local prediction, however, a sensor node can
selectively send its data values to the cluster head[10].
One model for selective sending is loss approximation. Given
an error bound 0 a sensor node sends its value
xt
to the cluster
head if xx tt ˆ the where xtˆ is a predicted representative data
value to approximate the true data. The intuition of this choice is that
if a value is close to the predicted value there is not much benefit by
reporting it. If the value is much different from the predicted value,
it is important to consider it for computing the data distribution. To
solve this problem, first develop a localized prediction model. Very
complex models are not practical in the application due to the
limited computational capacity of sensor nodes. Fortunately, simple
linear predictors are sufficient to capture the temporal correlation of
realistic sensor data as [1, 6]. A history based linear predictor is one
of popular approaches to predicting the future based on past

Yule-Walker equations or using the least square method. The
parameters are often updated on every measurement and the
estimation is carried out by both the cluster header and 2 cluster
members to achieve synchronization. If the error tolerant and

(1) the scheme with local prediction is more energy efficient, where
the parameters are given as in table (1.2). Equation (1) gives the
error bound condition. This result says, if the correlation coefficient
is too small, prediction will not be accurate. As a result, sensor data
values are often not within the error bound and will still be
transmitted to the cluster head. Meanwhile, if the error bound is
small, the condition is not easily satisfied either and transmissions
are still required. Together, this corollary tells that algorithm
selection should be determined based on both the desired error
bound and the predictability of the sensor data and from
experimental results the effect on the parameter m is not
deterministic. While a large value of „m‟ often leads to the condition
of (1) hardly satisfied and there by the prediction scheme at the node
is prone to being disabled, it can reduce the energy consumption as a
long term predictor when the condition is satisfied.
