2. IIMI Library is a hybrid library with the state-of-the-art technological applications. The Library holds knowledge resources predominantly related to management and allied subjects. The entire Library collection including the CD-ROM databases and the online databases are made available through Institute’s network. Users can access the online databases and also find out the real-time availability of library materials from their own computer terminals. The Library offers a range of information services set to the highest professional standards. The library building has a sprawling space of 2,500 sq. mt., with central air-conditioning and having designated areas for different sections of the library, which stimulate a nice ambiance for reading. 9. Member Privileges  Books on display, issued to others members etc. can be reserved online and at the library circulation counter. The member will be notified upon availability of the same books.  Members can also renew the books for another term (for 2 times only), provided there is no demand for the same title from other members.

10. Overdue An amount of Rs 0.25/- per day for the first 15 days and Rs.1/- per day for the next one month, and Rs.5/- per day after 45 days will be collected as overdue charges for books. In case of textbooks issued overnight (between 9.00 pm and 8.30 am) an amount of Rs 5/- per hour is collected as fine. In case of electronic sources (CDs, Floppies), AV materials and back volumes of journals issued for a week, an amount of Rs. 5/- per day will be collected as fine.

11. Borrowing conditions The borrower is fully responsible for the books borrowed in his / her membership card. Absence and illness are not acceptable excuses for exemption from paying an overdue charge. The Librarian may recall a book at any time before its due date.

12. Borrowing conditions If a book belonging to a set is lost, the borrowers will replace the entire set at their own cost and take the remaining books of the set in the library with them. In case of students losing the books issued to them they should report it immediately in writing to the Librarian to avoid accumulation of fine. They will be allowed a grace period of one week to confirm the loss in writing, to initiate the process of recovering the cost of the book/s or other materials. Textbooks borrowed for internal reference should be promptly returned .

13. General Instructions Use of mobile phones inside the library is strictly prohibited Smoking is prohibited in and around the library No refreshments or foodstuff of any kind shall be consumed anywhere inside the library Keeping in mind that the library is a place of individual study and research, members should maintain an atmosphere of dignity, peace and silence within the library premises . Suggestions for purchasing books and other materials and improving the library services are welcome. Members should keep the library informed of any change of address during the period of their membership. The librarian has the power to cancel the tickets and refuse admission to anyone who violates the rules and regulations of the library or indulges in any other type of misconduct.

16. Resources Journals: The Library subscribes to 400 print journals (400 Foreign and 100 Indian) specific to the academic and research needs of the academic community. Besides, there are about 3500 e-journals available in full-text through the online databases subscribed by the library.

17. Resources Videos: Educational videos from BBC, Harvard, Standford Business School, etc. are available for consultation in the library. CD-ROMs: The collection includes CDs on statistical data, encyclopedias, dictionaries, CBTs, etc. Most of the CDs are mounted on the CD-NET server and can be accessed through the Institute’s network.

23. Resources : Databases  ABI/INFORM Global Full-text : ABI/INFORM Global is a database covering business, management, economics and a wide range of related fields. It provides fast and easy access to information on 60,000 companies. It covers over 1,000 titles and provides abstracts of material from 1971 onwards and full text from 1987 to present.  ACM Digital Library: The ACM Digital Library hosts citations and full-text from ACM journals, magazines and conference proceedings .  Business Sources Primer (EBSCO): This business research database provides full text for more than 8,800 serials. It provides full text back to 1965 and searchable cited references back as far as 1998. Coverage includes virtually all subject areas related to business. This database is updated daily.  IEEE Xplore: It provides access to more than 450,000 full text articles from more than 120 journals and 600 conference proceedings of the IEEE and IEE, as well as nearly 900 IEEE standards, all published since 1988.  J-STOR: A digital archive providing access to over 47 business journals. Most of the journals covered are from the first volume till 1998.

It covers the following broad sectors: Population and Demography, National Income Statistics, Public Finance, Money & Banking, Agriculture, Industry, Prices, Energy, Transport, Capital Markets, Investment Trends, Foreign Trade & the External Sector, Tourism, Health, Education and Employment.  Business Monitor Online: It is market research service of Business Monitor International (BMI), offers in-depth market research reports on 175 global markets and major industry sectors, contains multinational companies profiles and includes database of macroeconomics data across global markets. It features country risk analysis and forecasts along with current updates on economic and political developments in each country  Global Market Information Database: GMID contains over a million demographic, economic and marketing statistics for 205 countries worldwide. The database also contains 6-year historic market size data for more than 330 consumer products in 52 countries plus 5-year forecasts.  Indiastat.com Database : Provides demographic, economic and political statistics of India .  RMS (CMIE) : The Regional Monitoring Service presents a Monthly Review of 12 States. Each Monthly Review is providing about 100 pages of analysis of the recent trends in the economy of the individual State .

Alpha provides detailed information regarding thousand mutual funds and the Asset Management Companies that run these funds, daily net asset value since inception, dividend history and financial details etc.  Asian CERC: An exclusive database on Indian industry and corporate information. C apEx: CapEx is a unique database on new and ongoing investment activities in India. CapEx provides a large number of well-designed reports that highlight the investment characteristics and trends in individual industries, regions, companies, ownerships groups, etc.  Capitaline: It covers 7000 listed and unlisted companies in India, giving extensive financial and non-financial information. It covers Background Data, 10 year Profit & Loss Accounts & Balance Sheets, Key Financial Ratios and News Extracts etc.  India Trade: India Trade packages India's official foreign trade statistics and a host of related data in an interactive system which provides easy access to the voluminous data, perform searches, generate reports, plot graphs and facilitate analysis. India Trade has been designed to assist policy making, policy evaluation and exploration of export opportunities.  Mergers and Acquisitions (CMIE): Analyses and presents all information related to mergers and acquisitions in India. It is one of the most comprehensive compilation on the subject which not only include M&A activity of listed companies but also unlisted companies. Prowess (CMIE): It contains detailed information on over 9,300 Indian firms. These comprise all companies traded on India's major stock exchanges and several others including the central public sector enterprises.
