12. We will meet with local journalists,
including one of the founders of Kyoto
Journal.

with bilingual
Japanese students
who will act as
interpreters and
guides.

14. Together Japanese
and American
students will hunt
for stories and
interview local
residents.

in the medium of
their choice –
text, photo, video
or multimedia –
individually or in
teams.

website similar
to one we
created for
ieiMedia’s
Jerusalem
program.

a 20-minute bus ride from
our classroom space at
Kyoto University of
Foreign Studies.

New York Magazine, The
Seattle Times, WBRE TV,
Center for Investigative
Reporting, CBC.
• At least four went on to work
as journalists abroad--in Cairo,
Berlin, Israel and Istanbul.
Another covered the U.N. for
the Jerusalem Post.
Alumni
Former ieiMedia student Morgan Brinlee became
a journalist in Istanbul.

• $150 discount for students who pay in full by check by Jan. 1,
