Editor's Notes
Splatterschmup
Makes a relationship between artistic process and game-play
Attempts to translate motion in an arcade game context (understood by audience) to βaction paintingβ context (AP was the term coined by Jackson Pollock)
Relates creation to in-game-action
Relies heavily on community and feedback (share your creation)

Partnered with Chandra Reedy from the University of Delaware
Players are sent to collect pigments for analysis
They have to complete quests in the tomb that teach them about what the wall paintings mean.
This helps contextualize and teach them history so there is a meaning to the analysis.
Focus groups of general audiences suggest this is a good way to learn about science for non-science majors.
