Teaching is the ability to translate curriculum into
meaningful experiences, set up the environment and
establish management procedures to allow for each student
to step forward independently.

Teaching is knowing enough about each individual to be
able to meet them where they are, and help them to set
their own goals for learning.

               Considering the individual
Teaching is looking beyond the
 I believe       classroom and into the world beyond.
                 Considering the skills and attitudes that
                 make a good person, exposing the
                 children to these attributes and
                 challenging them to want to become
                 better people.




Inquiring, questioning and activating prior knowledge

Teaching is knowing when to get out of the way, release
control and allow students to discover for themselves.

Learning needs to be challenging, meaningful,
