We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. 1. My Educational Philosophy paper
A teacher is the heart of education. I have chosen to be a teacher for many reasons. I
have done well in school and I have been close to my teachers. My teachers have affected my
personality a lot, because of that I decided to be a teacher. My teachers made me a different
person. I found myself doing my best to get me the grade "A" in the subjects. I found myself
really wanted to understand the materials. Another reason is I like helping people. The teacher is
helping, guiding more than giving a subject. Also, teaching is a very humanistic profession.
Teaching is a great profession which needs certain skills like communication skills and
leadership skills. To be a teacher, you should give more than you take. The teacher is a leader
and a helper, I want to be in that position.
Each teacher has hisher objectives with hisher students. As an English teacher, I want my
students to achieve certain things. At first, the teacher introduces them perfectly to the English
language by showing them how they could study English with fun. Heshe makes them able to
understand each tiny item in the course in order to make them great citizens and having the
ability to express, analyze and match what is happening around them. As we know that the
English language has different skills like speaking, writing, reading and listening, so it is our
responsibility to apply them significantly with students. In addition, using modern methods of
teaching like discussion groups or role-playing makes the students interested in the course.
Besides giving them some online activities to be involved in the field of technology at the same
time, lets them learn and understand the purposes of the course in unusual ways. The teacher is
helping them to be successful members in the community who will build and create their own
ideas and projects. Also, the individuals would be developed intellectually, spiritually, and
emotionally under an Islamic curriculum or the Islamic philosophy.
2. We are as teachers should use different materials in the classroom. We should begin with a
provocative question or current event, and then explain how it relates to the content. Also, we
could use the board, slides, overheads, to reinforce the important points visually and try to make
a relation between the subject and the society, for example, giving the student extra reading to
improve their reading skills. At the same time, we could teach them something useful about
society. Online learning is a perfect way to let the students work on some grammatical rules, so
they maybe become more interested in the class because of the technology used. Another
significant way is to use games to teach them writing styles using some drawings. Students
should be able to analyze what is happening in environments like taking the student in outdoor
activity and let them write about it to improve their writing skills. I believe that Education is the
main and important engine of development and the students the power of that engine. By that
logic, I will consider on philosophies that is student-centred and does not focus on the teacher,
according to the educational philosophy school, “essentialism”. Furthermore, I should encourage
my students to think, explore, experience, manage, and analyze the changes in the society or
even in the world, just like in “progressivism” school of educational philosophy.
Recently, the rapid developments in technology have affected most of the teaching methods
depend on technology. According to “Essentialism” philosophy school of education, the teacher
should help students to master appropriate skills, attitudes, and values which are the essential
elements of the educational process, so I am a teacher, I have to choose appropriate methods to
achieve the purpose of education. Your choice of teaching method depends on what fits you and
your educational philosophy. There are numbers of teaching methods that you can use with your
students. For example, with primary, you could use singing to teach and to help them to
memorize easily the alphabet. Using technology resources that can be fun and inviting, and
3. engaged students are far more likely to be learning. Furthermore, using diagrams, tables and
charts increase students' understanding. I believe that if you can get students involved and
motivated effectively enough, you can improve their learning habits in the subject.
A teacher is a model that is followed by hisher students in anything that heshe does. A
teacher who inspires and encourages his student to aim for greatness lives to their fullest
potential and seeks for what is the best for hisher student. Teachers play a key role in education
and also in the student’s life. In the classroom, heshe should provide proper encouragement for
pupils. Students generally keep a watch on teacher’s life. So, a teacher has to maintain a good set
of manners and try to be a role model. This not only helps students adopt it but also improves
their regard to the teacher. In many cases of a successful student, there seems to be a good
teacher. Teachers' role description need to be derived from the mission and goals of education, as
a teacher we must ask, what should be our role as a teacher in the education process? I believe
that a good teacher whose major role is "student".
A student’s role is also to be motivated about their learning and their education subjects.
As an English teacher, I have to make my students be responsible and trustful by working in
groups and do some research outside the school. However, if students are truly interested in
learning, they will be able to use the language successfully. Students should mentally prepare
themselves to learn more about this the new concept or idea. A student who wants to be actively
involved in their education, so teachers should enhance their thinking and their self-confidence
as well. The teacher should involve his/his students in different tasks like working on specific
readings which improve specific skills. In addition, students should complete all assignments and
homework. Actually, I agree with “Existentialism” educational philosophy which assumes that
“Each individual is the creator of her or his essence; each individual is the creator of his or her
4. meaning,' so students should not depend totally on his or her teacher, they need to work hard to
learn. Students also should follow teacher instructions and don’t misbehave in class.
An effective teacher is the one who can manage hisher class perfectly. There are certain
things that teacher need to do to make hisher classroom well organized and managed such as
writing down classroom's rule, so students can look and read them carefully. Giving the
students the chance to help in making rules because students will respect the rules that they made
by themselves. Also, let them ask and participate with their own ideas. Also, I can tell them how
how much they behave well in class; they will have much time for playing. Indeed, classroom
management is not just concentrating on students' behaviours, but also includes content,
methods, and values which affect the classroom environment.I believe in the idea of “Realism”
educational philosophy that the teacher should be a person who presents content in a systematic
and organized way, so the organization of the classroom should be in a systematic way to
achieve a comfortable classroom which is qualified to teach the process. Finally, corporal
punishment is the last thing, may I think to use to achieve classroom management because I
believe that it isn't an effective way to control misbehaving in the class.
Assessment and evaluation are essential components of the teaching process. They
determine whether students have learned or not, and also they might determine teacher
effectiveness. I believe that regular evaluation and assessment help the teacher to know if the
students are achieving his or her goals and provide good feedback about the difficulties.
Actually, there are different methods of evaluation and assessment, examination papers is one of
these methods, also regular short exams is a good way to evaluate students' achievement. In
addition, classroom assessments are important techniques to measure the effectiveness and the
5. quality of teaching, so that will help teachers to determine whether the style of learning that she
or he uses is suitable or not. Actually, I believe that because of the diversity in the classroom, the
teacher should use different types of assessments and evaluations to measure the real
performance of students. As a teacher, I will use different types of assessments such as tests,
interviews, homework, and classroom discussions. Moreover, asking the students to give you a
writing sample is another way to assess their grammar. The most effective tool of assessment is
to gather the parents and ask to assess their sons and gave comments.
