The Hyperloop transportation system underwent its first public test on May 11, 2016. A startup called Hyperloop One conducted a test of the Hyperloop system's electric motor, reaching speeds of up to 300 mph. The Hyperloop was originally proposed by Elon Musk in 2013 as a system that could transport people between Los Angeles and San Francisco in only 30 minutes inside low-pressure pods that travel through tubes at nearly 760 mph.

Hyperloop is not only a super cool high speed tube drive train by Elon Musk. It’s also a new exciting compiler from Appcelerator. Appcelerator is known for their cross-platform product Titanium. Hyperloop lets you write your apps in JavaScript and compiles it into optimized native code, you can even call native SDKs on the supported platforms (Android, iOS, Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8). This makes it conceptually close to Xamarin but the additional benefit of having Titanium’s cross-platform API on top of it so you can write cross-platform UI code. The compiler is part of Ti.Next the complete re-envisioning of the Titanium platform. But you can already start playing with this new cool technology as Hyperloop is open sourced on github. Com and hear more about it and see it in action!
Hyperloop is the new mode of transportation after air, water, rails and roads. It could be a realistic high speed as well as economical way of transportation apart from a fantasized means of transportation called the "teleportation".
Hyperloop transportation system developed by Elon musk of Tesla group and spacex. It aims to reduce travel time between two cities with the help of capsules travelling in a controlled vaccum system .
A hyperloop is a theoretical mode of high-speed transportation sketched out by serial entrepreneur Elon Musk. Musk envisions the system as a 'fifth mode' of transportation: an alternative to boats, aircraft, automobiles, and trains.[1] Musk, who has expressed his intent to develop a prototype hyperloop, stated that it "could revolutionize travel",[2] but the technological and economic feasibility of the idea has not been independently studied.

"Hyperloop" is the ultra high speed transport system . It is the idea that is "re-stated" by the billionaire Elon Musk. It is still conceptual but soon a reality as many companies and Student Groups have been working on the project.

Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message
Join us to learn more about this new, human-in-the-loop capability, brought to you by Integration Service connectors.

"Impact of front-end architecture on development cost", Viktor TurskyiFwdays
I have heard many times that architecture is not important for the front-end. Also, many times I have seen how developers implement features on the front-end just following the standard rules for a framework and think that this is enough to successfully launch the project, and then the project fails. How to prevent this and what approach to choose? I have launched dozens of complex projects and during the talk we will analyze which approaches have worked for me and which have not.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

Epistemic Interaction - tuning interfaces to provide information for AI supportAlan Dix
Paper presented at SYNERGY workshop at AVI 2024, Genoa, Italy. 3rd June 2024
https://alandix.com/academic/papers/synergy2024-epistemic/
As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.

3. INTRODUCTION
A futuristic transportation concept known
as the "Hyperloop" underwent the first
public test on May11,2016
An important milestone- pioneering
system first envisioned by SpaceX and
Tesla founder ‘Elon Musk’.
A startup Hyperloop One (Hyperloop
Technologies)-conducting a test of the
Hyperloop system's electric motor in the
Nevada desert, running speeds of up to
300 mph (483 km/h), the company said.
4. Actual Hyperloop transportation system,
which was proposed by Musk in 2013.
The concept would see people zoom
between Los Angeles and San
Francisco(559kms) in only 30 minutes,
sitting inside pods that speed through low-
pressure tubes at roughly 760 mph (1,220
km/h).
7. The train pods racing back and forth
through a huge low-pressure tube.
The tube doesn’t have rails; the train
moves by way of a magnetic levitation
system.
As the train is being propelled by
magnets, you only need to give it speed
when it departs.” So you don’t need an
engine. “At its end station you slow down
the train and the energy can then be
reused,” “Besides, the energy would be
generated by solar panels on top of the
tube,
As there is hardly any air inside the tube,
the train encounters practically no
8. The Hyperloop would accelerate pods -
each about 6.5 feet (2 meters) wide -
through a low-pressure tube from Point A to
Point B. These pods would ride not on rails
or wheels but rather a cushion of air, greatly
reducing the friction of the system.
The pods would be revved up to near-
supersonic speeds by linear electric motors
like those used by Tesla. But the ultimate
source of energy for the system would be
the sun.
9. An alternative to California's proposed $70
billion high-speed rail system, which he
regards as too expensive, inefficient and
slow.
A Los Angeles-San Francisco Hyperloop
line could be built for about $6 billion and
deliver a much better travel experience to
passengers
Tickets would be much cheaper than seats
aboard a train or airplane, for example, and
crashes would be extremely rare. "It's not
like it's going to fall out of the sky, nor can it
.
10. Facts
Hyperloop One also announced that it had
received $80 million in financing, from current
and new investors, to develop the
transportation system.
In 2015, Musk signed a deal-central
California landowners to build a 5-mile (8 km)
test track - California Interstate 5.
Needless energy is wasted on air
resistance. Take away that resistance,
transportation will become much more
efficient and faster(to go back and forth at
incredible speed, up to around 1,200 kms an
hour).
Transportation will also become cheaper,
because less energy is used(energy as 2 ltrs
of petrol or twenty per cent of the battery of a
Tesla car).
