HYPERLOOP TRANSPORATION
By Dipak Horo
Hyper loop is a medium of
transportation.
Hyper loop is much more faster than the above.
CONVENTIONAL MODES OF
TRANSPORT
What is hyper loop?
•Hyper loop is a new mode of
transport.
•It is a proposed system of transport
that uses pods or containers
•That travels at high speeds through
a tube that has been pumped into
a near-vacuum.
COMPONENTS OF HYPERLOOP
TRANSPORTATION
• CAPSULE
• TUBE
• PROPULSION
• ROUTE
Hyper loop is similar to a train
Runs on a Metal Tube
Passengers or cargo are loaded into the Hyper loop vehicle and accelerate
gradually via electric propulsion through a low-pressure tube.
The vehicle floats above the track using magnetic levitation
and glides at airline speeds for long distances due to ultra-low aerodynamic
drag."
Technology
• Magnetic levitation
Magnet-Repulsion (example)
• Just like Two magnets north and north pole
repel when brought together.
• Hyperloop’s track has similar concept.It will
float ,and in this way it will have less friction
& drag force.
• Thus making the journey smooth
How does it work
• Whilst travelling
• Some air is pushed out the sides to create an
air cushion.
• These keeps the pod centered within the
tube.
Speed
• 800kmph
• Maximum speed recorded 1300kmph
• It is faster than plane.
Will India have Hyper loop?
• Yes
• Example: Delhi  Mumbai Distance is 1150
km,
• Hyper loop can cover the distance in 1 hour
22min.
Disadvantages
• Motion sickness if excel ration is more.
• If any damage in between the tube.
• Evacuation during emergency
• Process is on how to handle the situation.
• Tube pressurization
• Less movable space for passengers.
ADVANTAGES
• Ready when the passenger is ready to
travel(road).
• Inexpensive(Low cost )
• Fast(High speed)
• Environmental friendly.
• Immune to weather.
• Sustainable(uses solar energy)
• Runs through the median of existing highway.
History /Discovery
• The concept of hyper loop was
first popularized by Elon musk.
• The project was to develop a
high speed ,intercity transporter
using a low pressure tube train.
• Owner of space
x,TESLA,PAYPAL,SolarCity.
Hyper loop Transportation
Technology(HTT)
• Elon musk kept it as a open source.
• Any company can use this technology to
develop.
• Among the same company is the HTT.
• It is a US based company.
HTT to launch India’s First
Hyper loop
• Hyper loop Transportation Technology signs an Historic
Agreement with the Government of the Indian State of
Andhra Pradesh.
• To connect the city centres of Amaravati and Vijayawada.
• Distance between Vijayawada Amaravati is 35km.
• Hyper loop will cover in 5 minutes.
• Andhra Pradesh govt. signed an agreement with HTT.
• Month of October survey and after 6 months in 2nd phase
construction will start.
• In 2019 we will get to see a confirmed Hyperloop, which
will be working and travel will be on process.
