The document discusses the concept of a proposed high-speed transportation system called Hyperloop. The Hyperloop would use pods traveling in low pressure tubes to transport passengers and goods at airline speeds but at lower costs than existing high speed rail. It would work using solar power and accelerated magnetic levitation to reach top speeds of over 1200 kmph. Several companies are currently working on developing the technology and constructing prototype Hyperloop systems.

3. Hyperloop is a proposed mode of passenger
and freight transportation that would propel a
pod-like vehicle through a near-vacuum tube at
more than airline speed.
This concept is given by Elon Musk .
This is concept of high-speed travel in tubes
and capsule .
The hyperloop technology is touted as having
very fast speeds, faster than existing forms of
passenger travel, and as being able to provide
that service at lower cost than high speed rail.
It work on green energy.
4. Hyperloop consists of a low pressure
tube with capsules that are
transported at both low and high
speeds throughout the length of the
tube.
The capsules are supported on a
cushion of air, featuring pressurized
air and aerodynamic lift.
The capsules are accelerated via a
magnetic linear accelerator affixed at
various stations on the low pressure
tube with rotors contained in each
capsule.
5. CAPSULE
Sealed capsules carrying 28 passengers each thatravel along the interior of the tube
depart on average every 2 minutes from Los Angeles or San Francisco (up to every
30 seconds during t peak usage hours).
The capsules are accelerated via a magnetic linear accelerator affixed at various
stations on the low pressure tube with rotors contained in each capsule
For travel at high speeds, the greatest power requirement is normally to overcome
air resistance.
The capsules are supported via air bearings that operate using a compressed air
reservoir and aerodynamic lift .

8. The tube is made of steel. Two tubes will be welded together in a side by
side configuration to allow the capsules to travel both directions.
Solar arrays will cover the top of the tubes in order to provide power to
the system.
tubes kept at a complete vacuum, allowing for theoretical speeds of
thousands of miles per hour.
Pylons are placed every 100 ft (30 m) to support the tube
9.
10. The total cost of the Hyperloop passenger
transportation system as outlined is less than $6
billion USD. The passenger plus vehicle version of
Hyperloop is including both passenger and cargo
capsules and the total cost is outlined as $7.5 billion
USD.
11. We can mount solar panels on the tubes for energy to transport
and use battery to store for night time.
The energy cost and energy consumed per passenger is also
relatively lower compared to existing systems.
Energy consumed per passenger to travel same distance is very
low compared to cars, aero planes , high speed trains.
12.
13.
14. There will be a station at Los Angeles and San Francisco. Several stations
along the way will be possible with splits in the tube.
The majority of the route will follow highway and the tube will be
constructed in the median
20. ADVANTAGES
Low cost than high speed trains
High speed than all other transportation methods
More convenient
Immune to weather
Earthquakes resistant
Sustainable self powering
Safer
More convenient
21. Tube pressurization
Less movable space for passengers
Turning will be critical
No answer for equipment malfunction, accidents, emergency
evacuation
Experience could be frightening.
22. As it has number of advantages it will very helpful for transport public as well
as goods in a very short time ( at top speed of 1220 kmph) and also in low cost.
It is new concept so there is some future work will be required for development
of this project.
