This is the future of transporation system, here one can travel with the speed of sound which is equal to 1200 kmph.hyperloop concept propsed by elon musk in 2012.
Hyperloop consists of a low pressure tube with capsules that are transported at both low and high speeds throughout the length of the tube. The capsules are supported on a cushion of air, featuring pressurized air and aerodynamic lift. The capsules are accelerated via a magnetic linear accelerator affixed at various stations on the low pressure tube with rotors contained in each capsule. Passengers may enter and exit Hyperloop at stations located either at the ends of the tube, or branches along the tube length.
HYPERLOOP ENGINEERING SEMINAR-BY MR.HEMANTH KUMAR DHEMANTH KUMAR D
HYPERLOOP IS A FIFTH MODE OF TRANSPORTATION WHICH USES CAPSULES TO TRANSPORT PEOPLE AND VEHICLES FROM ONE PLACE TO ANOTHER THROUGH A LOW PRESSURE TUBE. HYPERLOOP IS FAST,INEXPENSIVE,ECO-FRIENDLY AND ZERO EMISSION VEHICLE.
Hyperloop is a completely new mode of fastest transportation. Hyperloop is firstly proposed by Elon Musk and a team of the engineer from Tesla Motors and the Space Exploration Technologies Corporation in August 2013. The concept of hyperloop includes traveling people from one place to another place in a capsule which is propelling at a very high speed. We can also call hyperloop as a solar-powered transportation system and it is an alternative to a high-speed train.
Hyperloop is the new mode of transportation after air, water, rails and roads. It could be a realistic high speed as well as economical way of transportation apart from a fantasized means of transportation called the "teleportation".
Hyperloop transportation system developed by Elon musk of Tesla group and spacex. It aims to reduce travel time between two cities with the help of capsules travelling in a controlled vaccum system .

Epistemic Interaction - tuning interfaces to provide information for AI supportAlan Dix
Paper presented at SYNERGY workshop at AVI 2024, Genoa, Italy. 3rd June 2024
https://alandix.com/academic/papers/synergy2024-epistemic/
As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.

Search and Society: Reimagining Information Access for Radical FuturesBhaskar Mitra
The field of Information retrieval (IR) is currently undergoing a transformative shift, at least partly due to the emerging applications of generative AI to information access. In this talk, we will deliberate on the sociotechnical implications of generative AI for information access. We will argue that there is both a critical necessity and an exciting opportunity for the IR community to re-center our research agendas on societal needs while dismantling the artificial separation between the work on fairness, accountability, transparency, and ethics in IR and the rest of IR research. Instead of adopting a reactionary strategy of trying to mitigate potential social harms from emerging technologies, the community should aim to proactively set the research agenda for the kinds of systems we should build inspired by diverse explicitly stated sociotechnical imaginaries. The sociotechnical imaginaries that underpin the design and development of information access technologies needs to be explicitly articulated, and we need to develop theories of change in context of these diverse perspectives. Our guiding future imaginaries must be informed by other academic fields, such as democratic theory and critical theory, and should be co-developed with social science scholars, legal scholars, civil rights and social justice activists, and artists, among others.

3. WHAT IS HYPERLOOP?
• It is the new form of transportation between long distances.
• Hyperloop consists of a low pressure tube with capsules that are
transported at both low and high speed throughout the length of the
tube .
• It is a high speed train transporting at a speed of 800mph which is twice
as the speed of a commercial plane.
4. FOUNDER

6. HISTORY
• Due to high traffic US Government proposed a high speed train between San
Francisco to Los Angeles
• In past Robert Goddard proposed using vacuum as a medium of transport
thereby attain great speed without high friction losses but there’s a lot of
possibility of leak. And when there is a leak it will lead to the whole system
failure.
• Elon Musk thought of overcoming it by maintaining low pressure rather than
vacuum & using electromagnetic suspension.
12. CAPSULE
• It consists of a compressor fan, compressor motor , sound bulkhead, sitting
place ,a battery.
• The maximum width is 4.43 ft. (1.35 m) and maximum height is 6.11 ft. (1.86
m). With rounded corners it is equivalent to a 15 ft2 (4.57 m2 ) frontal area ,
not including any propulsion or suspension components.
13. TUBE
• The tube is made of steel. The two tube will be welded together in a side
by side configuration to allow the capsules to travel in both directions.
• Pylons are placed every 100 ft. (30 m) to support the tube. Solar arrays
will be cover the top of the tubes in order to provide power to the
system.
• The inner diameter of the tube is optimised to be 2.23 m which is small
enough to keep material cost low while large enough to provide some
elevation of choked air flow around the capsule.
• The tube cross section arear is 42.2 ft2 giving a capsule/tube area ratio
of 36% or a diameter ratio of 60%.
14. PROPULSION
• Linear accelerators are constructed along the length of the tube at various
locations in order to accelerate the capsule
• Stators are located on the capsules via linear accelerators.
• On the other hand , the compressed air is sent to the back of the capsule to
get more speed and propulsion.
15. SUSPENSION
• Suspending the capsule within the tube presents a substantial technical
challenge due to transonic velocities.
• Conventional wheel and axle system become impractical at high speed
due to friction losses and dynamic instability.
• A viable technical solution is “ Magnetic Levitation ” and another one is “
Air Bearing suspension ”.
16. AIR BEARING
SUSPENSION
• Air bearings offer stability & extremely low drag at feasible cost by
exploiting the ambient atmosphere in tube.
• When the gap is high between a ski and the tube walls reduced the flow
fields in the gap exhibits non linear reaction resulting in large restoring
pressure.
• The increased pressure pushes the ski away from the wall allowing it to
return at basic height.
17.
18. ADVANTAGES
• Fast (air)
• Environment friendly( rail ,
cars )
• Inexpensive ( air )
• Sustainable ( solar energy )
• Runs through the median of
existing high way
• Ready when the passenger is
ready to travel
19. PROBLEMS
• Tube pressurization
• Turning will be critical with large radius
• Less movable space for passenger
• High speed problems like low blood pressure , vomiting.
• If any disaster happens , then it will be difficult for the passengers to get
out.
• Safety compromised
20. CONCLUSION
• As it has number of advantages , it will be very helpful in transporting
public as well goods in a very short time ( at top speed of 1220kmph )
and also in low cost.
• It is a new concept so there will be some future work required for the
development of this project.
