Claitec's wireless safety solution uses radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to automatically stop machinery when workers wearing electronic keyfobs get too close. The system has been installed in over 110 recycling plants to prevent accidents by detecting workers near conveyor belts and machinery. All operators must wear keyfobs that are checked by antennas for battery level. Detection distance can be adjusted between 1 to 6.5 meters. The system registers events and stops machines to prevent serious injuries when workers are detected within range.

2. Claitec solution has been installed in hazardous areas of more than 110 recycling plants, protecting all
workers in dangerous areas and falls onto conveyor belts, preventing serious accidents by automatic
machine shutdown.
All operators must wear electronic keyfobs
to be detected.
The verification antenna checks and
registers the level of the keyfob batteries.
Machines or conveyor belts must be fitted
with detection antennas. A self-control tag
device checks the enabling of the system.
Detection distance is adjustable between 1
meters and 6,5 meters to detect any person
wearing a tag who falls onto the conveyor
belt.
The machine is stopped automatically to
prevent a serious accident.
