Hazardous Areas HA: Description
Claitec specialises in implementing a range of solutions designed to prevent occupational hazards in
conveyor belts or recycling pits, specifically in the paper and cardboard recycling industry.
All operators must carry electronic tags with them. All machines and their respective conveyors must
be fitted with detector antennas within adjustable distances between 1 and 5 metres to effectively
detect the person carrying the tag, should they fall on the belt. In this case, the machine will
automatically be stopped, and a serious accident will be prevented.

Truck Docking System TDS: Description

The traffic light of the Truck Loading and Unloading Safety (TDS) cautions the driver of the presence
of other personnel at a loading dock.
The dock is equipped with detection sensors which, after detecting a person, issue a signal to the
traffic light. Upon being alerted by the traffic light, they can apply extreme caution and attempt to load
or unload the goods carried on the dock without any risks.

Pedestrian Cross Safety PCS: Description

The Pedestrian Crossing Safety (PCS) solution is a system of traffic lights that indicates the presence
of pedestrians crossing to forklift drivers.
Pedestrians are fitted with a series of tags or transponders which, emit light signals that are detected
by an activator. Subsequently, the lights indicate the presence of pedestrians in the vicinity.

The Claitec’s Collision Avoidance System (CAS) cautions forklift drivers of the presence of another
truck within distances between 3-25 metres.
A PAS (Pedestrian Alert System) AC-50’s activator is installed in each of the forklifts to detect each
other.
When a forklift detects another forklift in its safety zone, the driver is immediately warned about the
potential risk.
