PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
Protect the value of your fitness equipment
The ATTIVO Preventative Maintenance program is a great way to make sure your equipment is
performing in peak condition for your exercisers.
When your Fitness equipment is covered under a Preventative Maintenance Plan, our certified
technician will deliver regular, thorough cleaning, testing, and calibration which amounts to more
uptime for your equipment.
We offer a variety of service schedules to fit your needs. From monthly to annual arrangements, we
are there when you need us to keep your equipment up and running smoothly.
PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE CHECK LIST
Preventative maintenance is essential to extending the life of your equipment, increasing uptime, and
maintaining warranty coverage. Precor authorized servicers perform the procedures listed below by
equipment type. For more details on Maintenance Procedures refer to your Service Manual.
I. Maintenance Schedule for: TREADMILLS
DESCRIPTION SCHEDULE
 Operation verification.
 Verify unit sits level on floor.
 Turn off power switch/circuit breaker and unplug the power cord from the wall
outlet.
 Inspect the power cord, make sure it is not damaged or coiled under the treadmill.
 Vacuum underneath equipment.
 Clean all surfaces.
 Use a dry towel to clean the running belt and deck.
 Verify the safety lanyard is in place and functional.
 Clean the electronic console with a damp lint free cloth and dry completely.
 Clean touch screen console (P80) with a diluted solution of one part 91% Isopropyl
Alcohol to one part water on a damp lint free cloth and dry completely.
WEEKLY
 Verify the stop clip is in place and functional.
 Visually inspect the running deck and belt, make sure that the bed or belt is in good
condition. Replace if necessary.
 Inspect the power cord, make sure it is not damaged or underneath the treadmill.
Verify the cord clamp is securely installed.
 Perform functional test to verify all features are performing properly.
 Clean the treadmill’s frame using a cloth dampened with an approved cleaning
solution. Use a soft nylon scrub brush or a towel to clean the running belt.
 Clean the floor underneath the Treadmill.
 Wipe the surface of the electronic console.
 Inspect visible welds, frame and wire connections.
 Clean drive belt and pulley with a small wire brush.

 Inspect running belt and deck.
 Check the tension, tracking and alignment of the running belt. Re-tension or adjust if
necessary.
 Check the tension of the drive belt, adjust if necessary.
 Remove hood and vacuum the compartment and motor controller fan.
 Perform the software diagnostics, check LED function and record the odometer
reading.
 Functionally test both the wireless and hand held heart rate.

 Lubricate lift motor screw.

II. Maintenance Schedule for: ELLIPTICALS CROSS TRAINER
IMPORTANT! USE EXTREME CAUTION when the rear cover is removed.
Serious injury could result if fingers are pinched between the flywheel spokes, crank arms, stair arms,
and drive weldment.
DESCRIPTION SCHEDULE
 Operation verification.
 Verify unit sits level on floor.
 Vacuum underneath equipment.
 Clean all surfaces.
 Use soft nylon scrub brush to clean grooves on foot pedals.
 Clean the electronic console with a damp lint free cloth and dry completely.
 Clean touch screen console (P80) with a diluted solution of one part 91% Isopropyl
Alcohol to one part water on a damp lint free cloth and dry completely.
WEEKLY
 Inspect visible welds, frame and wire connections.
 Inspect and lube lift motor screw if necessary.
 Remove rear covers and vacuum with a low static vacuum around the electronic
board.
 Clean drive belts and pulleys.
MONTHLY

 Verify the wheels run smoothly on the ramp.
 Clean the ramps and wheels with an approved solution.
 Inspect the power cord. Ensure that the cord is not pinched under the unit.
 Vacuum carpet or “damp mop” the floor underneath the EFX.
 Verify the HHHR is operational.
 Record the usage hours.
 Verify torque setting on crank arm and pillow blocks.
 Inspect belts for tension and excessive wear.
 Lubricate lift motor screw with a synthetic grease.
QUARTERLY*
 Verify the battery voltage.

III. Maintenance Schedule for: ADAPTIVE MOTION TRAINER
IMPORTANT! USE EXTREME CAUTION when the rear cover is removed.
Serious injury could result if fingers are pinched between the flywheel spokes, crank arms, stair arms,
and drive weldment.
DESCRIPTION SCHEDULE
 Operation verification.
 Verify unit sits level on floor.
 Vacuum underneath equipment.
 Clean all surfaces.
 Clean pedals, stairarms, upper arms and grips.
 Clean the electronic console with a damp lint free cloth and dry completely.
 Clean touch screen console (P80) with a diluted solution of one part 91% Isopropyl
Alcohol to one part water on a damp lint free cloth and dry completely.
WEEKLY
 Inspect visible welds, frame, and wire connections.
 Lube lift motor screw.
 Remove covers and vacuum with a low static vacuum around the electronic board.
 Inspect tension and excessive wear on all belts and pulleys.
MONTHLY

 Clean grooved drive belts and pulleys with a small wire brush.
 Verify the pedals move smoothly in the vertical and horizontal axis.
 Verify the HHHR is operational.
 Record the usage hours.
 Check the stability of machine if necessary adjust the leveling feet.
 Check the tension of the drives and h-brake belts, adjust if necessary.
 Inspect the gas spring shock.
 Clean and lube the rear link bearings (AMT 100i only).
 Verify the resistance changes through the entire range.
QUARTERLY*
 Verify the battery voltage.
 Visually inspect the belts for cracks, fraying or excessive wear.

IV. Maintenance Schedule for: STATIONARY BIKES
DESCRIPTION SCHEDULE
 Operation verification.
 Verify unit sits level on floor.
 Vacuum underneath equipment.
 Clean all surfaces.
 Clean the electronic console with a damp lint free cloth and dry completely.
 Clean touch screen console (P80) with a diluted solution of one part 91% Isopropyl
Alcohol to one part water on a damp lint free cloth and dry completely.
WEEKLY
 Inspect visible welds, frames and wire connections.
 Remove covers and vacuum with a low static vacuum around the electronic board.
 Clean drive belts and pulleys with a small wire brush.
 Check that pedals turn freely and smoothly at resistance level 1.
 Inspect the power adapter (if so equipped). Ensure that the cord is not pinched
under the unit.
 Verify the seat moves smoothly through the entire adjustment range and the
position latch works correctly.

 Verify the battery charge voltage.

V. Maintenance Schedule for: CLIMBER
DESCRIPTION SCHEDULE
 Operation verification.
 Verify unit sits level on floor.
 Vacuum underneath equipment.
 Clean all surfaces.
 Clean the electronic console with a damp lint free cloth and dry completely.
WEEKLY
 Inspect visible welds, frame and wire connections.
 Remove covers and vacuum with a low static vacuum around the electronic board.
 Wipe down unit.
 Check that pedals move freely and smoothly.
 Inspect the power adapter (if so equipped). Ensure that the cord is not pinched
under the unit.
 Verify the HHHR works correctly.
MONTHLY
 Inspect stairarms and bumpers for excessive wear.
 Verify drive belts has proper tension and adjust if necessary.
 Inspect springs.
 Check the pedal stops are in good condition.
QUARTERLY*
 Visually inspect the belts for cracks, fraying or excessive wear.
 Verify the battery voltage.
 Check the pedal belt clamps are torqued properly.

VI. Maintenance Schedule for: STRENGTH
In addition to following the routine maintenance schedule outlined below you will want to do the
following daily:
 Inspect cables and cable ends replacing upon any sign of wear.
 Check for kinks, frayed wires or deterioration of the cable coating. Look for signs of wear
particularly at crimped ends of the cable and near pulleys.
IMPORTANT! Cables must be replaced immediately if they are damaged to avoid possible injury to
users.
DESCRIPTION SCHEDULE
 Operation verification.
 Verify unit sits level on floor.
 Vacuum underneath equipment.
 Clean all surfaces.
 Lube guide rods, bushings, rod ends, linear bearings, shafts and pop pins.
 Inspect cables and cable ends replacing upon any sign of wear.
WEEKLY
 Inspect visible welds, frame, and cable connections.
 Inspect cables and cable ends replacing upon any sign of wear.
 Verify proper tension on all cables.
 Inspect upholstery and pads for excessive wear.
 Wipe down unit.
 Verify the weight stack pin tether is attached.
 Verify the instruction placard is attached and intact.
MONTHLY
 Check the machine motion to ensure smooth through full range of travel.
 Verify the adjustments of seats fully functional and lube.
QUARTERLY*
 Verify cable tension.
 Inspect all weight pins to ensure they are secure.

VII. Maintenance Schedule for: PERSIONAL VIEWING SCREEN ( PVS)
DESCRIPTION SCHEDULE
 Wipe the screen with an approved solution. (Do not use acidic cleaners).
 Verify the channel up down and volume up down function.
 Verify the numeric key pad can be used to change channels.
 Verify the headphone jack works.
MONTHLY
 Verify the home page is correctly programmed.
 Verify the video image is clear on all channels.
 Verify the audio matches the video.
QUARTERLY*
 Verify the channel lineup matches the facility requirements.
 Verify the decorative cable cover is fully intact and properly aligned.

VIII. Maintenance Schedule for: WATER ROWER / CONCEPT II
DESCRIPTION SCHEDULE
 Remove dust, dirt, sweat, and other substances of cage and blades
 Wipe down the entire machine except for the chain
 Test the rower and the display console
MONTHLY
 Clean and lubricate the chain with a light chain oil
QUARTERLY*
 Check the battery if the display doesn’t work

When your Fitness equipment is covered under a Preventative Maintenance Plan, our certified technician will deliver regular, thorough cleaning, testing, and calibration which amounts to more uptime for your equipment. We offer a variety of service schedules to fit your needs. From monthly to annual arrangements, we are there when you need us to keep your equipment up and running smoothly. Email: cstech@attivointl.com PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE CHECK LIST Preventative maintenance is essential to extending the life of your equipment, increasing uptime, and maintaining warranty coverage. Precor authorized servicers perform the procedures listed below by equipment type. For more details on Maintenance Procedures refer to your Service Manual. I. Maintenance Schedule for: TREADMILLS DESCRIPTION SCHEDULE  Operation verification.  Verify unit sits level on floor.  Turn off power switch/circuit breaker and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.  Inspect the power cord, make sure it is not damaged or coiled under the treadmill.  Vacuum underneath equipment.  Clean all surfaces.  Use a dry towel to clean the running belt and deck.  Verify the safety lanyard is in place and functional.  Clean the electronic console with a damp lint free cloth and dry completely.  Clean touch screen console (P80) with a diluted solution of one part 91% Isopropyl Alcohol to one part water on a damp lint free cloth and dry completely. WEEKLY  Verify the stop clip is in place and functional.  Visually inspect the running deck and belt, make sure that the bed or belt is in good condition. Replace if necessary.  Inspect the power cord, make sure it is not damaged or underneath the treadmill. Verify the cord clamp is securely installed.  Perform functional test to verify all features are performing properly.  Clean the treadmill’s frame using a cloth dampened with an approved cleaning solution. Use a soft nylon scrub brush or a towel to clean the running belt.  Clean the floor underneath the Treadmill.  Wipe the surface of the electronic console.  Inspect visible welds, frame and wire connections.  Clean drive belt and pulley with a small wire brush. MONTHLY

Re-tension or adjust if necessary.  Check the tension of the drive belt, adjust if necessary.  Remove hood and vacuum the compartment and motor controller fan.  Perform the software diagnostics, check LED function and record the odometer reading.  Functionally test both the wireless and hand held heart rate. QUARTERLY *  Check the drive motor brushes, if applicable.  Lubricate lift motor screw. SEMI- ANNUAL** II. Maintenance Schedule for: ELLIPTICALS CROSS TRAINER IMPORTANT! USE EXTREME CAUTION when the rear cover is removed. Serious injury could result if fingers are pinched between the flywheel spokes, crank arms, stair arms, and drive weldment. DESCRIPTION SCHEDULE  Operation verification.  Verify unit sits level on floor.  Vacuum underneath equipment.  Clean all surfaces.  Use soft nylon scrub brush to clean grooves on foot pedals.  Clean the electronic console with a damp lint free cloth and dry completely.  Clean touch screen console (P80) with a diluted solution of one part 91% Isopropyl Alcohol to one part water on a damp lint free cloth and dry completely. WEEKLY  Inspect visible welds, frame and wire connections.  Inspect and lube lift motor screw if necessary.  Remove rear covers and vacuum with a low static vacuum around the electronic board.  Clean drive belts and pulleys. Ensure that the cord is not pinched under the unit.  Vacuum carpet or “damp mop” the floor underneath the EFX.  Verify the HHHR is operational.  Record the usage hours.  Verify torque setting on crank arm and pillow blocks.  Inspect belts for tension and excessive wear.  Lubricate lift motor screw with a synthetic grease. QUARTERLY*  Verify the battery voltage. SEMI- ANNUAL** III. Maintenance Schedule for: ADAPTIVE MOTION TRAINER IMPORTANT! USE EXTREME CAUTION when the rear cover is removed. Serious injury could result if fingers are pinched between the flywheel spokes, crank arms, stair arms, and drive weldment. DESCRIPTION SCHEDULE  Operation verification.  Verify unit sits level on floor.  Vacuum underneath equipment.  Clean all surfaces.  Clean pedals, stairarms, upper arms and grips.  Clean the electronic console with a damp lint free cloth and dry completely.  Clean touch screen console (P80) with a diluted solution of one part 91% Isopropyl Alcohol to one part water on a damp lint free cloth and dry completely. WEEKLY  Inspect visible welds, frame, and wire connections.  Lube lift motor screw.  Remove covers and vacuum with a low static vacuum around the electronic board.  Inspect tension and excessive wear on all belts and pulleys. MONTHLY

Email: cstech@attivointl.com  Clean grooved drive belts and pulleys with a small wire brush.  Verify the pedals move smoothly in the vertical and horizontal axis.  Verify the HHHR is operational.  Record the usage hours.  Check the stability of machine if necessary adjust the leveling feet.  Check the tension of the drives and h-brake belts, adjust if necessary.  Inspect the gas spring shock.  Clean and lube the rear link bearings (AMT 100i only).  Verify the resistance changes through the entire range. QUARTERLY*  Verify the battery voltage.  Visually inspect the belts for cracks, fraying or excessive wear. SEMI- ANNUAL** IV. Maintenance Schedule for: STATIONARY BIKES DESCRIPTION SCHEDULE  Operation verification.  Verify unit sits level on floor.  Vacuum underneath equipment.  Clean all surfaces.  Clean the electronic console with a damp lint free cloth and dry completely.  Clean touch screen console (P80) with a diluted solution of one part 91% Isopropyl Alcohol to one part water on a damp lint free cloth and dry completely. WEEKLY  Inspect visible welds, frames and wire connections.  Remove covers and vacuum with a low static vacuum around the electronic board.  Clean drive belts and pulleys with a small wire brush.  Check that pedals turn freely and smoothly at resistance level 1.  Inspect the power adapter (if so equipped). Ensure that the cord is not pinched under the unit.  Verify the seat moves smoothly through the entire adjustment range and the position latch works correctly. MONTHLY

Maintenance Schedule for: CLIMBER DESCRIPTION SCHEDULE  Operation verification.  Verify unit sits level on floor.  Vacuum underneath equipment.  Clean all surfaces.  Clean the electronic console with a damp lint free cloth and dry completely. WEEKLY  Inspect visible welds, frame and wire connections.  Remove covers and vacuum with a low static vacuum around the electronic board.  Wipe down unit.  Check that pedals move freely and smoothly.  Inspect the power adapter (if so equipped). Ensure that the cord is not pinched under the unit.  Verify the HHHR works correctly. MONTHLY  Inspect stairarms and bumpers for excessive wear.  Verify drive belts has proper tension and adjust if necessary.  Inspect springs.  Check the pedal stops are in good condition. QUARTERLY*  Visually inspect the belts for cracks, fraying or excessive wear.  Verify the battery voltage.  Check the pedal belt clamps are torqued properly. SEMI- ANNUAL**

Maintenance Schedule for: STRENGTH In addition to following the routine maintenance schedule outlined below you will want to do the following daily:  Inspect cables and cable ends replacing upon any sign of wear.  Check for kinks, frayed wires or deterioration of the cable coating. Look for signs of wear particularly at crimped ends of the cable and near pulleys. IMPORTANT! Cables must be replaced immediately if they are damaged to avoid possible injury to users. DESCRIPTION SCHEDULE  Operation verification.  Verify unit sits level on floor.  Vacuum underneath equipment.  Clean all surfaces.  Lube guide rods, bushings, rod ends, linear bearings, shafts and pop pins.  Inspect cables and cable ends replacing upon any sign of wear. WEEKLY  Inspect visible welds, frame, and cable connections.  Inspect cables and cable ends replacing upon any sign of wear.  Verify proper tension on all cables.  Inspect upholstery and pads for excessive wear.  Wipe down unit.  Verify the weight stack pin tether is attached.  Verify the instruction placard is attached and intact. MONTHLY  Check the machine motion to ensure smooth through full range of travel.  Verify the adjustments of seats fully functional and lube. QUARTERLY*  Verify cable tension.  Inspect all weight pins to ensure they are secure. SEMI- ANNUAL** .

(Do not use acidic cleaners).  Verify the channel up down and volume up down function.  Verify the numeric key pad can be used to change channels.  Verify the headphone jack works. MONTHLY  Verify the home page is correctly programmed.  Verify the video image is clear on all channels.  Verify the audio matches the video. QUARTERLY*  Verify the channel lineup matches the facility requirements.  Verify the decorative cable cover is fully intact and properly aligned. SEMI- ANNUAL** *Complete all inspections listed under Monthly above plus the following. **Complete all inspections listed under Monthly and Quarterly above plus the following. VIII. Maintenance Schedule for: WATER ROWER / CONCEPT II DESCRIPTION SCHEDULE  Remove dust, dirt, sweat, and other substances of cage and blades  Wipe down the entire machine except for the chain  Test the rower and the display console MONTHLY  Clean and lubricate the chain with a light chain oil QUARTERLY*  Check the battery if the display doesn’t work SEMI- ANNUAL** *Complete all inspections listed under Monthly above plus the following. **Complete all inspections listed under Monthly and Quarterly above plus the following.
