THE VMP *
The VMP is one panel that has been designed to assess power input to your system, subject it to preliminary
test based on specific configurations programmed into it and effect correction where needed. But in a situation
where the power input is not safe, the panel simply isolates the equipment connected to it from the dangerous
voltage path and trigger off an audible alarm to alert all concerned.
*WRONG SEQUENCE *
When the VMP notices a wrong sequence it goes ahead to correct it on its own and send out the right sequence
to your equipment irrespective of the input to it. It only goes ahead to alert you via an amber flasher on top of
the panel for you to know what has happened otherwise the fault situation is not noticed while normal operation
of your equipment is achieved.
*SAFE VOLTAGE*
VMP is also configured to accept a voltage range between 160V ac and 250V ac (as specified in your mail).
*PHASE FAILURE*
In the event that a phase fails during operation, the VMP immediately triggers off an audible alarm to alert all
concerned the very instant that such fault occurs.
The VMP is designed in such a way that in the event of power failure in one of the active alert line, it
automatically switches to the next available free line on its own to make sure the alert system is always on
standby.
*VOLTAGE** *
In the event of voltage surge which would have had a damaging effect on your power equipment, the
VPM reacts instantly and makes sure the surge does not go beyond the power input to the panel.
*RESPONSE TIME ***
The response time of the VMP to surge is far less than 0.5 sec (instantly).
*BY PASS ***
The VMP is also equipped with a manual by pass for versatility.
Please be informed that the bypass will not respond if the voltage is
outside a safe range.
*STATUS DISPLAY ***
The VMP is equipped with a digital voltage display unit and a selector switch that makes it possible to ascertain
all voltage levels for both input power to the panel and output of power to your equipment all done from the
front panel. The VMP is equipped with status indicators to inform you of the present status of the panel eg.
“system ok”, “voltage error”, ”sequence error” etc.
