Micronesia In Australia Essay
Oceania was founded in the Pacific Ocean, it is a region that is generated of divergent islands that are
found along the central and southern Pacific Ocean. Oceania is divided into three groups of islands
which are the continental islands, the high, and low islands. Australia has fertile land that is suitable
for agricultures to make use of land. The region of southeast Australia, compared to the rest of the
regions, has an economic advantage being that it is the most secure. The government system is
composed of the prime minister and queen Elizabeth, creating stability in the region.

Micronesia is one of the countries with one of the largest export economies. This region has
contributed into developing more business in the country by offering classes and workshops to help
future entrepreneurs to start a business; however, it does not offer the necessary attention to businesses
that are already established so that they can expand by having a better export of products. Micronesia
could have a great run on the part of the local companies since they know how to create a profit. What
does not favor the nation is that local companies lack the experience to find foreign buyers and that is
why not all their products reach to foreign countries. Due to the focus the region have on exporting the

Analysis Of Tickits By Paul Milenski
The short fiction story Tickits, written by Paul Milenski is about Toby Heckler giving tickets to all
those he finds doing wrong especially his mother. How can I help all those around me someone like
Tobey can ask himself? I can shed light to the troubles one may cause others like a superheroes
providing safety to the citizens around them. My cloak and armor is my sharp appearance with not
even a smudge on my pearly white sneakers. There are many imperfections when it comes to people
behavior in a sense to not caring about others.
This story describes Toby as if he was a police officer handing out citations until the reason behind the
citation was written. The tickets consist of a car parking in two parking spots being inconsiderate of
others that may need to park and two elderly women standing in the middle of the sidewalk taking up
the space of others that are walking on the sidewalk. Toby had also written a ticket for a man who was
considering crossing the street when the sign read DON T WALK (Milenski 155). The reason for the
ticket was clearly that the man considers disregarding the sign and walking across the street. The
ticket read ALLMOST WALKD (155). He did this while maintaining a polish appearance especially
when it came to his shoes. He compared himself to patrolman McVee in appearance and even wipe the
smudge of his shoe. Toby carries his job to be very important despite the way others looked or may
treat him.

Sean Armstrong s Eros And Psyche
To earn a good mark on a test, one must be willing to study continuously, in spite of the hassle of
doing so. To win gold in the Olympics, one must be dedicated to the sport and train constantly, despite
the difficulty. From the smallest of objectives to the greatest, never has anyone achieved anything
important for their lives without commitment and hardship. In Sean Armstrong s short story, Eros and
Psyche , these very same attributes are presented in order to acquire love. By Psyche agreeing to
accomplish Aphrodite s tasks and facing the jealousy and wrath of the goddess in order to gain back
the love of her life, Eros, she has introduced herself to a journey of trials and tribulations. In Eros and
Psyche , Sean Armstrong uses the three ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
First, the tasks that are given are not at all simple. One of the most dangerous of them requires her to
obtain some of Persephone s beauty by traveling to the underworld which is considered to be a
sentence of death (229). Even with the knowledge that she could possibly be risking her life to fulfill
this task, Psyche still undertakes it. This is because she is aware that by completing this task, she will
be able to be with the love of her life and giving up now would mean that all her hard work would be
in vain. By incorporating a character such as Psyche who displays a persistent characteristic in such an
impossible task, Armstrong implies that having a willingness to do something despite its difficulty and
pursuing it until the end will always have a reward. Second, Psyche is not only rewarded with Eros,
but she is also given the status of a god. When Eros takes Psyche to Olympus after completing her
tasks, he convinces Zeus that Psyche has proven her love for [Eros] and therefore let her stay in
heaven (230). Psyche earns herself a seat on Olympus due to the fact that she stays committed to
accomplishing her given tasks, and in doing so has proven that she is prepared to undergo any task in
order to be with Eros which is rewarded with a rightfully earned spot on Olympus. By rewarding
Psyche for seeing her tasks through, Armstrong implies that there is a reward in diligence and hard
work.

Waste Water Case Study
It can be concluded that mixed primary and secondary iron nanoparticles were synthesized in Mt and
PVP involved borohydride reduction system. In addition, the nanoparticles contained an iron oxide
coated α Fe core and a PVP surface layer. Also, the clay polymer interactions made PVP not only
adsorb on the external surface but also intercalate into the interlayer space of Mt particles, developing
a polymer barrier on the clay mineral surfaces. Due to the barrier related steric hindrances and/or
alkaline pH derived electrostatic repulsions, the clay mineral particles built a card house flocculation
structure, which after suitable washing and drying can convert to a semi card house form in dry
products. [2]

[20] In addition detergents in laundry water has been reported to have a negative impact by destroying
fish mucus membranes and gills to some degree. As a consequence, the gills lose natural oils,
interrupting oxygen transfer. Damaged mucus membranes leave fish susceptible to bacteria and
parasites. Detergents have toxicity level on fish near 15 ppm, thus killing fish eggs at 5 ppm and could
cause endocrine disrupting and estrogenic effects in fish. [21] In addition, oil/grease can be found
within a concentration of 8 35 mg/l of oil/grease. It adversely affects the esthetic advantages, water
turbidity and Dissolved Oxygen (DO) content in the water. [22] Several methods have been employed
to treat laundry water before its release into aquatic sources. This involves the removal of
contaminants both soluble or insoluble before its discharge into the environment. Coagulation,
adsorption, flocculation, chemical oxidation, and biological treatments are some of the conventional
methods used in treating laundry waste be discharge into the environment. [23] These methods have
been successful in its entire application but suffer some drawbacks. For example, ineffective
decolorization of waste water and time consuming efforts makes it difficult for effective removal of
CODs. [24] Membrane separation has also been employed in some way for effective from the
treatment of grey water. The membrane separation process has been successful over conventional

Rendition Of A Single Day
In One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich, Alexander Solzhenitsyn portrays the fictional rendition of
a single day s conflicts for a Zek within a Stalinist labor camp. Conflict aids the novel by allowing the
reader to better understand the endeavors the prisoners experience. To express the conditions within
the gulags, Solzhenitsyn shows how Ivan survives his agonizing daily tasks. From working through
frigid temperatures to trudging through the surroundings of snow and ice, Ivan and the other prisoners
labor through the harsh elements with their minimal strength in order to complete their assigned duty.
Another conflict occurs by the Zeks against each other. Distrust runs high, making gulag life more
difficult. The men also commonly ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A murky fog wrapped itself around Shukov and made him cough painfully. The temperature out there
was 17. Shukov s temperature was +99 (Solzhenitsyn 23). Illness is inevitable in the despairing
weather conditions and lack of proper health care. The men begin to lose hope in living, and neglect
their assigned tasks. Man vs. nature conflict signifies the recurring weather conditions the men battle
through. This conflicting aspect has the most impactful effect on the Zeks because the cold
temperatures and frozen precipitation weaken them, increasingly by the hour. Weather clashes with
them at all times because they are not given proper shelter. The conditions in the bunks are near what
it is like out in the elements, therefore they do not have a place to return for their bodies to recover and
gain heat. Because the men are not able to cope in the freezing weather, their bodies begin to shut
down. The repeated exposure increasingly weakens and kills off many of the Zeks. Therefore, the
most prominent form of conflict is through man vs. nature, which creates the most immense battle
within the novel, forcing the laborers to fight daily for their lives. In addition to man vs. nature,
another form of conflict Solzhenitsyn places throughout the book is man vs. man. Due to the extreme
conditions and savagery that arises from the lack of proper supplies and living quarters, the men
selfishly only think of themselves or their

Fingerprints Are Not The Same Techniques We Use Today
Fingerprints have been used for a very long time, as far back as 3,000 years ago in China as
identification. The use of ancient fingerprints are not the same techniques we use today. In 1880, a
man by the name of Henry Fauld, a Scottish physician working in a hospital in Japan, published his
own views on the potential application of fingerprinting to personal identification (Saferstein, 2016,
pg. 164). He suggested that the skin patterns could be important for the identification of criminals.
After comparing different fingerprints, he began to realize that each print looked remarkably different.
Fauld believed that fingerprints could be used as evidence and suggested the proposal to a fingerprint
testing center, but the offer was rejected. Years later, the first prosecution fingerprints were used in the
year 1905 in London (Rotella, Abbott, Gold, 2001). Ever since then fingerprints have been a valuable
part of crime scene investigations and if present, it is almost guaranteed that the criminal will fit the
crime. It has been a successful technique that has proved more success than any other piece of
evidence.
When looking at two pairs of hands it is hard to notice anything different between the two. However,
there are remarkable differences between the individual s fingerprints. Fingerprint analysts have
formulated three basic principles of fingerprints that hold the prints uniqueness, stability, and
appropriateness as a mean of identification. Before being able to

Hunger Of Memory Summary
Culture can be defined as manifestations of intellectual achievement which is not a facet of bias. How
one sees the world actually comes from aspects such as emotional experiences and life events. One
change could cause a butterfly effect that will forever change said person s opinions. Culture is an
aspect of art and customs throughout a community that remains in a sector of life whether the person
intends it to be that way or not. It is human nature to desire different experiences outside of their
cultural circle. One s culture does not influence how they view the world due to autonomy, automatic
assimilation, and operating behind the veil of ignorance.
To begin with, a person s autonomy keeps them from viewing the world through a biased lens.
Assuming that people can think for themselves is also to believe that they can form their own opinions
without blindly following cultural normalities. One would understand that a condemned race would be
in favor of government programs but in Hunger of Memory Chicano writer Richard Rodriguez

This coincides with the fact that many humans have a selfish and ignorant nature which is
undisputable. When the modern family sees another without a television in Us and Them the respond I
don t know that I believe in it [television] either (Sedaris 76). This family s criticism of the other
lifestyle was not due to a cultural standpoint but how they see the world at a hypocritical angle.
Selfishness causes individuals to neglect values to the point where they think like a domesticated
animal. How is one to even understand culture if they fail to understand themselves? Not being self
aware makes one ignore customs within their own pretenses. Most people live this way to the point
where culture doesn t even reach how immersed their are in their tunnel vision view on the

My Writing Class Analysis
Coming into college, I have had experience in writing analytical essays, research papers, and creative
writing projects. For two years in a row I had the privilege to be taught by the same honor s English
teacher Mr. McConahay. Mr. McConahay constantly stressed the importance of writing. He spent the
past two years preparing us for college level writing because he knows that in college, writing is a big
part of one s English class. We wrote about American citizenship and what it meant to be a citizen of
the world as well as a citizen of one s community. Mr. McConahay valued structure and a good thesis
the most out of anything. This writing was very difficult for me because my mind works more
creatively than it does analytically. Academic writing has always been my weakest attribute when it
came to schooling. I would much rather write a paper full of opinions or made up people rather than
write a research paper. Though his class was hard for me, I noticed a difference in my writing as it
improved over the course of the years. Mr. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Schooled Gordon Korman Analysis
In the book Schooled written by Gordon Korman, we follow the story of a 14 teen year old named
Cap who has lived on a farm his entire life with his grandmother hippie, who is forced to leave his
farm because his grandmother got injured. Because of this he is forced to go into our society and go to
a normal middle school and live with his guidance counselor. And because he is very different, he is a
target in middle school and because of a tradition at that middle school, which elects the weirdest
person to be school president, he becomes school president. In the book there are many craft moves

This all obviously shows characters inter thinking and as previously mentioned sets up conflict,
however the first person narrative shows what multiple viewpoints does not. By utilizing first person
narrative in the text it shows what the character s motivation is. Multiple viewpoints doesn t shows the
character s motivation because we only see what they are thinking and saying and what kind of
problems they are having but we are not seeing what they want throughout the text. However first
person narrative shows what Cap s person s goal is and how they re going to achieve it. In the text, on
page 20, Cap says, I wonder if I can just go home and get out of this place. this really shows what
Caps motivation is, because of first person narrative, it can show what Caps interthinking is, which
can show his motivation. Another goal that the author tried tried to achieve was stirring empathy. We
se throughout the text, that Cap alwayed asked questions to himself about the world around him. It s
kind of dramatic irony because he asked questions about things that knows so little about and we see
everyday. So because of this the author makes the reader feel sorry for Cap because he is so clueless.
And by the author using first person narrative, we see Caps interthinking and his questions that he
asked himself. An example of this happening is on

The Importance of Market Research
Market research refers to the process of carrying out extensive research to determine whether goods
and services are likely to satisfy customer requirements (Arora Mahankale, 2013). It is way of making
sure that a new or existing business rolls out products or services that will have a positive impact in
the market. Therefore, market research is an important requirement to both new and existing business
holdings. In the case of new businesses, one is likely to get financial assistance if they have done
proper research on the market. This information can be used to guarantee the success of a new
business. Market research is fundamental step that should be taken by all business because of the
benefits that come with it (Beri, 2008). The main argument in the paper is that market research is an
essential part of a business regardless of whether they are new or not. First, it would be important to
explore the concept of market research before going deep to outline its benefits. Basically, there two
types of market research, which are Primary Market Research and Secondary Market Research. A
research on a particular market is likely to return qualitative and quantitative information. Qualitative
information involves opinions obtained from different people in the market through interviews and
surveys. Primary Market Research entails interviewing or talking to customers to get their thoughts on
a new product. In most cases, this kind of research will give qualitative

Wisdom In Hermann Hesse s Siddhartha
Siddhartha, a classic literature novel written by Hermann Hesse, focuses on Siddhartha s spiritual
journey during the Gautama Buddha time period. Siddhartha s spiritual journey is mainly to achieve
his goal to reach enlightenment or nirvana. The novel also offers commentary on a number of issues
on relationships, desire, the path to enlightenment, etc. In this case, Siddhartha mentions that the
teaching of wisdom is unachievable, which I disagree with, since wisdom can be taught and developed
through a specific process, in this case, I will compare the teaching of knowledge and the teaching of
wisdom. Knowledge is the fact or condition of knowing something with familiarity gained through
experience or association. As the information gained ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Those of some who thinks it s unachieveable include Siddhartha, he says Wisdom cannot be imparted.
Wisdom that a wise man attempts to impart always sounds foolishness to someone else... Knowledge
can be communicated, but not wisdom. Once can find it, live it, do wonders through it, but one cannot
communicate and teach it. I disagree with Siddhartha or Hermann Hesse, wisdom can be taught, but
only if that specific person is willing to do so and has an intellectual mindset going into the process.
Wisdom is typically associated with greater intellectual and even physical maturity, it is presumably
because the development of TK [tacit knowledge] and of values is seen as something that unfolds over
the course of the life span, and not just in childhood or even in the early years of adulthood. As
described best by Robert J. Sternberg, wisdom can be taught but it won t just happen in the blink of an
eye, but even for a whole life span. Consequently, I do see how Siddhartha thinks that wisdom cannot
be taught. Wisdom isn t about enlarging one s knowledge, but it s about balancing various self
interests with other interests. Values are also another big part of wise thinking, one s values are
different from others and this might affect how one might teach

Violence in the Arts – Plato vs. Aristotle Essay
Violence in The Arts – Plato vs. Aristotle
Nowadays, it is hard to turn on a television program, catch a movie or buy your younger sibling a
video game without encountering a warning for extreme violence. Everyday, our lives are exposed to
violence on the screen, whether it is in the latest Sopranos episode or even watching the six o clock
news. For quite a while now, people have been demanding that stricter censorship be placed on the
media, especially those programs and video games that can easily be obtained by the youth, due to
their feelings that this violence can influence people to act out . However, this is not a new idea. Back
in ancient Greece, the philosopher Plato believed that exposure to the emotions of the arts ... Show

Plato perceived the dramas as dangerous, because he felt that they created confusion,
miscommunication and ignorance. He also felt that the entire world s evils came from a defective
sense of reality and that these dramas promoted that. For example, take a young child who grew up
somewhat isolated from the outside world and whose only outlet to our society is through the media.
His steady contact with violent programs (which in the end, show a happy conclusion no matter what
happens throughout) may convince him that this type of behavior is normal and accepted. Plato was
concerned especially about the influence that drama and even pornography would have on children,
because he felt that their minds were not developed to the full extent in order to differentiate between
the right and wrong that they see in the dramas. Many people will be quick to agree that a child should
not watch a rated R action movie, yet they still allow them to view a Saturday morning cartoon in
which the main character gets run over every episode and still comes back the next week. This can
create a faulty understanding of reality to a child, as well as an unsuspecting adult, because it does not
clarify that death is final.

Grass Root Innovation Essay
This research aims at bridging important gaps in the way one conceptualizes the evolution of
innovations in the informal sector, by means of formally untrained minds, that have the potential for
Grass Root Innovations (GRIs). It also addresses important gaps in meeting needs of disadvantaged
communities, which formal systems like Science and Technology (S T) have not been able to address
so far, in a manner that is cost effective and affordable. While GRIs cannot provide solutions to all
problems, they can indeed provide solutions for some of them. The conceptual basis, or the heuristics,
underlying these innovations, can sometimes extend the frontiers of science, or improve efficiency in
larger mainstream technological systems, in addition to meeting the local needs. But, incentives for
developing technologies, which will have limited diffusion because of socio ecological conditions, are
difficult to institutionalize. The result being that such niches remain unserved. However, if difficult
regions, with poor market and bureaucratic infrastructure, have to remain outside developmental
impulses, then social harmony is unlikely to be maintained. In this case, it would be difficult to attain
sustainability. Effective inclusion of the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Eyewitness Testimony And Its Effect On The Credibility Of...
Eyewitness testimony is a hot button issue in not only the criminal justice field but also the
psychology field as well. It continues to be argued that this type of evidence is far too unreliable for
the court room and can ultimately end up punishing the wrong person for a crime they did not commit.
The influence of an eyewitness testimony cannot be denied as research has showed that, adding a
single prosecution eyewitness to a murder trial summary increased the percentage of mock jurors
guilty verdicts from 18 to 72 (Leippe, Manion, Romanczyk, p. 182, 1992). In the article discussed
here, researchers will look into various age groups to see if age has an effect on the credibility of
eyewitness testimonies while attempting to discern what certain cues build upon such credibility.
Despite such criticism the effect of an eyewitness testimony is still obviously powerful which makes
this issue that much more controversial. That vast increase previously mentioned was based off of a
simple statement rather than an actual witness being present, which shows that a testimony does not
need to be confirmed visually or audibly to be trusted. Although, the witness involved in said mock
trial was an adult, as adult memory is trusted to be more accurate than that of a child s. Children have
been said to be too suggestible and their memories too inferior to be fully trusted (Leippe et al., p. 182,
1992). To test this out researchers in the article, Eyewitness Persuasion: How and

History And Development Of Nursing Education
Comparing Nursing Education in Ireland and China Lakeisha Alexander Florida International
University Introduction The countries that I have chosen to research are Ireland and China. I chose
Ireland because while I was in high school there was an opportunity to study abroad in the country; I
was unable to participate in the program but was curious about what receiving an education there
would be like. My opinion of nursing education in Ireland is that it s at a basic level and not as
advanced as the nursing education you would receive in the United States. The other country that I
have chosen to research is China and this is because I think that they are advanced in technology and
because of their advancement the nursing education should be more progressive than in the United
States. Ireland and China are two different countries that have gone through tremendous strides to
bring about a successful nursing education system. Political History and Development of Nursing
Education Ireland. Nursing in Ireland begun in the 1950 1970 with the apprenticeship model, in the
model new nurses were trained on the job by more experienced nurses (O Dwyer, 2007). The
apprenticeship model was seen as not being financially sustainable in the 1950 1960, and Ireland was
unable to create an alternative model of nursing education. The educational needs of nurses were seen
as subordinate to the needs of the service and so nursing students were used as

The World´s Demand of Fossil Fuels
The world s demand of fossil fuels is slowly diminishing by the growing use of biofuels. May it be
ethanol or biodiesel its one step closer to a greener earth. From peanut oil to bark, science is being
done to convert plants into energy.
Creation of Biofuel Some might think that biofuels are new but they have been in use ever since man
discovered fire. Wood is a solid biofuel used for cooking and heating. The types of biofuels are solid
gas and liquid. The most common is liquid made popular by the automobile industry as a source of
fuel. Biofuel is a fuel that contained energy from once living organisms. Biofuel is created by biomass
conversion. Biomass is recently deceased organisms. These recently deceased organisms are converted
into a substance called biomass that contains the energy. The biomass will be converted into a fuel
using one of these methods: thermal conversion, chemical conversion and biochemical conversion.
Thermal conversion is also known as thermal depolymerization, a process using high heat to produce
biofuel. Chemical conversion uses various chemicals to produce biofuel. Finally, biochemical
conversion uses enzymes, microbes, and catalysts to make biofuel.
Generations of Biofuel The two generations of biofuels. The first generation is commonly known as
biofuels made from sugar, starch or vegetable oil. These would be ethanol, biodiesel, methanol,
butanol, green diesel, vegetable oil, biogas and syngas. Second gen biofuels are also known as

The Founding Foundations Of The Social Cognitive Theory
THE SOCIAL COGNITIVE THEORY
This is a theory that was developed by Albert Bandura. Below are a few of the definitions as to what
the theory s main focus was on or what really the theory is all about.
Social cognitive theory favours a model of causation involving triadic
Reciprocal determinism. In this model of reciprocal causation, behaviour, cognition and other
Personal factors, and environmental influences all operate as interacting determinants that

This is so because a person s behaviour may remain the same even if the environment changes.
The theory is loosely structured, based only on the dynamic chemistry between person, behaviour, and
environment. It is unclear the level to which each of these factors actual behaviour and if one is more
influential than another.
The theory deeply centres on processes of learning and in doing so neglects biological and hormonal
predispositions that may influence behaviours, regardless of past experience and expectations.
The theory does not focus on emotion or motivation, but instead on reference to past experience.
There is minimal attention on these factors.
The theory can be broad reaching, so can be difficult to operationalize in

Mesopotamia, Egypt, And The Indus River Valley
Mesopotamia, Egypt, and the Indus River Valley were all civilizations situated near rivers. In
Mesopotamia, the Tigris and Euphrates rivers rose annually but were prone to flooding. In Egypt, on
the other hand, the Nile River had predictable flooding and was and still is the longest river in the
world. It was also easy to traverse due to southern wind patterns and northern currents. In the Indus
Valley, people lived near the Indus River, hence the name. Also, they were isolated, surrounded by the
Himalayas, just as Egypt was isolated, surrounded by deserts, mountains, seas, and cataracts. On the
other hand, Mesopotamia was more open and vulnerable to invasion. In all three cradles, agriculture
began independently. As a result of the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In Egypt, the pharaoh served as God and king. The Sun God was the main God, leading to discussion
today over whether Egyptians technically practiced monotheism before the Hebrews. However, King
Tut later reverted back to polytheism. They had a main focus on the afterlife, which explains why they
mummified their dead. The people of the Indus Valley were polytheistic and worshipped some female
deities. Divisions in the land took place in each of these three early civilizations. Mesopotamia was a
loose confederation of walled off city states each ruled by a king. Rivalry over land and water amongst
these city states often led to violent conflict. In fact, under the rule of the Assyrians, these walls were 5
to 7 stories high and a hundred feet thick in some places. Egypt was not as divided as Mesopotamia
and was ruled by a pharaoh who served as God and king. The Indus Valley people were the first to use
zoning, or when certain areas are designated as residential, commercial, and for manufacturing. Unlike
in the Fertile Crescent, there was little indication of political hierarchy or centralized states. The
Ziggurat, the largest structure in many of the Mesopotamian city states, served as a temple or pyramid,
while many of the around 70 cities of the Indus Valley had citadels, or two story buildings with a bath
on top that represented a centralized authority. In contrast, the pyramids of Egypt showed job

It is the leader s responsibility to keep the followers focused on the ultimate goal. Sir Richard Branson
could improve his leadership style by preparing for situations when the mission of the company has
become more or less than exciting.
Branson s Leadership in Space Tourism
One of the most exciting and innovative projects in the world today is global space tourism. Fittingly,
the Virgin Group is at the forefront of development in this exciting new industry. Finding success in
this highly unknown frontier will surely require exceptional leadership skill and planning (Hawn
2006). Branson would tackle this challenge by communicating his vision to his team and continually
reminding them of it throughout the duration of the project. He is the type of leader that strives to
bring his team members personal satisfaction from the success of a project. Therefor, I believe he
would make an effort to give strong positive recognition to his followers as each major milestone in
the project is reached.
Perhaps his most valuable leadership trait, Branson is excellent at communicating his vision. A project
like space tourism requires a clear and achievable vision, because no other similar project has been
successfully completed in the past. There is no leadership precedent to draw upon, making this
ambitious goal an exceptionally challenging one. Branson will need to use his delegating skills to

Urinary Injection Treatment
Injection Treatments for Urinary Incontinence
People who cannot keep urine from leaking have a condition called urinary incontinence. The muscle
that normally keeps urine from leaking (urinary sphincter) may be weak. To treat this condition, a
special material (bulking agent) can be injected into the tube that carries urine away from your bladder
(urethra). This is called an implant. It is used to narrow and strengthen the urethra.
Urinary incontinence is a common problem in women who have had children and in men who have
had prostate surgery.

Case Study On Small Business Managers
Blunder # 6 Not having an advisor with experience
Ugh. At first I was going to strike this from the list because, in my opinion, it isn t applicable to every
one. Some business types may be along the road less traveled, making available advisors scarce. I can
think of a few industries where the managers are hard to find and the owners and founders even
harder. People with valuable experience may not be available to some of you reading right now.
For the rest of us here, on the other hand, finding someone who could advise us and answer questions
isn t as difficult. You may even have relatives who are in the same field you want to venture into. If I

I hate to break it to you, this ain t Cheers, and you aren t Norm. Everyone will NOT know your name.
Unless you have a high profile product, or a high profile client who endorses you, you ll likely need ad

Pepsi, Gieco, and McDonald s, but you still see their ads right? Even the big guys do it.
The need for advertising and marketing never stops, regardless of how big you get. And growth will
come from attracting new clients with solid advertising. Blunder # 9 Not having a sufficient marketing

I made this blunder last year selling a product I developed. I was selling a deluxe wine set on Amazon

Austranese And Japanese Cultural Differences
This essay aims to provide more information in regards to the differences between the Australian and
Japanese cultures, as well as fundamental insights into Japanese business etiquette and highlight
important steps for effective communication when making business in a foreign country. As the
Australian entrepreneur and owner of The Aromatic Condiment Shop Emily is looking to expand her
business deals in Japan it is paramount to make a favourable first impression and understand key
points to better navigate cultural differences and grow her business.
Cultural differences according to Adler involves the integrated and maintained system of socially
acquired values, beliefs, and rules of conduct which impact the range of accepted behaviors
distinguishable from one societal group to another . (Adler, N. J. (1997). International dimensions of
organizational behavior (3rd ed.). Cincinnati, OH: Shout Western College Publishing)
Cross cultural communication involves an understanding of how people from different cultures speak,
communicate, and perceive the world around them. This type of communication has become
fundamental to companies as well as entrepreneurs looking to grow their business, in addition to being
fundamental as the workplace has become more diverse. In this line is important to highligh the
concept of high and low context culture.

Binaries In Great Expectations
It is Charles Dickens who says that there are dark shadows on the earth, but its lights are stronger in
the contrast. The theme of highlighting and appreciating goodness when comparing it to darkness is
prevalent in Dickens s novel, Great Expectations. The contrast is shown through character binaries.
Some may argue that Dickens does not mean for the characters to be complete opposites, and wants to
treat them as individuals. However this can not be true as in the novel, Dickens is often comparing
characters directly. Character binaries show that tenderness and humanity should be appreciated as
shown by Estella and Biddy, Magwitch and Compeyson, and Joe and Pumblechook. Initially, Estella
and Biddy s conflicting personalities highlight ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
To demonstrate, Magwitch shows off his nobler side by attempting to [prevent] [Compeyson] getting
off the marshes and bringing the Hulks... its gentleman again (Dickens 32 33). In other words,
Magwitch gives up his own escape to bring justice to the atrocious Compeyson. He does what is right
while Compeyson is shouting out lies and pretending to be innocent. His action, which sends him back
to prison, is able to be appreciated by Pip. All though it was not true appreciation, Pip is grateful that
both convicts are, for the meantime, out of his life. By the same token, Magwitch reveals Compeyson
s corrupt nature by telling Pip Compeyson s business is the swindling, handwriting forging, stolen
bank note passing (Dickens 323). That is to say, Compeyson, as told by Magwitch, makes poor
choices and selfishly takes advantage of all he can. Compeyson s crooked actions and exploitive
nature allows Magwitch s generosity to be all the more incredulous. Compared to Compeyson, who is
despicable, Magwitch becomes all the more appreciated by Pip. Additionally, while Magwitch lies in
the infirmary awaiting his death sentence many describe him as being humble and contrite and never
[known to] complain (Dickens 425) demonstrating his remorseful and modest nature. To put it another
way, Magwitch feels and admits guilt for his crimes, and demonstrates humbleness and nobility facing
death. Contrary to Compeyson, who desperately avoids death and imprisonment with no guilt or
shame, Magwitch s admirable personality is further recognized by all and appreciated more
specifically by Pip. It is evident that Pip is able to appreciate Magwitch and his actions due to
Compeyson and Magwitch s contradicting personalities enhancing Magwitch s virtue and considerate

Anaylsis of a Dinner and Production
Because there was no program or playbill to accompany this production, there was no way to know
the names of the actors or actresses. The best character within the show was Sheriff Dooley Neal. Neal
was a young man who had been brought into the city by Mayor Timothy O Reilly, a corrupt politician
who is willing to acquire money by any means necessary. Neal believed that he was getting the job of
his lifetime, until O Reilly puts him in the middle of a feud between two singing and dancing families:
the Hatfield s and the McCoy s. Throughout the production, he was constantly being tricked into being
in the middle of the feud and getting in trouble for things that were not necessarily his fault. There
were a few malfunctions with the props during the production, however. For example, there was a
scene in which Neal had to shoot his gun and break a window in a barn. He made the shooting motion,
but the sound of the shot had not appeared until about one minute had passed. He and the Mayor, the
only other person in the scene, had burst out in laughter but improvised the entire scene. Their
laughter made it clear that it was not supposed to happen like that, but they attempted to play it off in
such a way that it seemed like it was a perfectly normal mishap. Minutes later, they regained their
composure and continued onto the next scene. Another great character in the dinner show was Ma

Auxilio In The Amulet By Roberto Bolano
The Amulet never performed its job
The Amulet by Roberto Bolano, does not start out like a traditional novel. Bolano immediately
introduces to the reader what they think they story is going to be about, but in actuality, you never
truly understand it. Bolano also takes the reader for a whirlwind in what feels like a reincarnation of
Alice in Wonderland and Inception. Amulet s main character and narrator is Auxilio Lacouture. To
sum up the story in a couple sentences is almost impossible, but let s give it the old college try.
Auxilio is in 1968 Mexico City at UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico). A massacre

So many themes come up as well. One quote in particular that displays Auxilio s demise, is when
Auxilio is speaking about the valley, she states, I saw a mirror, and peering into it, I could see an

shut up in the women s bathroom... Perhaps Arturito is already dead, I thought, perhaps that lonely
valley is an emblem of death. (74 75) Auxilio s outlook seemed like a very dark one, calling a valley
an emblem of death is pretty atramentous. It s also foreshadowing of what comes later in the novel.
When one envisions this image of the valley, it seems Auxilio is in the bathroom again. She is looking
at the mirror, and in this mirror there is a different plain of existence which coincides with her own.

  • 3. Analysis Of Tickits By Paul Milenski The short fiction story Tickits, written by Paul Milenski is about Toby Heckler giving tickets to all those he finds doing wrong especially his mother. How can I help all those around me someone like Tobey can ask himself? I can shed light to the troubles one may cause others like a superheroes providing safety to the citizens around them. My cloak and armor is my sharp appearance with not even a smudge on my pearly white sneakers. There are many imperfections when it comes to people behavior in a sense to not caring about others. This story describes Toby as if he was a police officer handing out citations until the reason behind the citation was written. The tickets consist of a car parking in two parking spots being inconsiderate of others that may need to park and two elderly women standing in the middle of the sidewalk taking up the space of others that are walking on the sidewalk. Toby had also written a ticket for a man who was considering crossing the street when the sign read DON T WALK (Milenski 155). The reason for the ticket was clearly that the man considers disregarding the sign and walking across the street. The ticket read ALLMOST WALKD (155). He did this while maintaining a polish appearance especially when it came to his shoes. He compared himself to patrolman McVee in appearance and even wipe the smudge of his shoe. • 4. Sean Armstrong s Eros And Psyche To earn a good mark on a test, one must be willing to study continuously, in spite of the hassle of doing so. To win gold in the Olympics, one must be dedicated to the sport and train constantly, despite the difficulty. From the smallest of objectives to the greatest, never has anyone achieved anything important for their lives without commitment and hardship. In Sean Armstrong s short story, Eros and Psyche , these very same attributes are presented in order to acquire love. One of the most dangerous of them requires her to obtain some of Persephone s beauty by traveling to the underworld which is considered to be a sentence of death (229). Even with the knowledge that she could possibly be risking her life to fulfill this task, Psyche still undertakes it. This is because she is aware that by completing this task, she will be able to be with the love of her life and giving up now would mean that all her hard work would be in vain. By incorporating a character such as Psyche who displays a persistent characteristic in such an impossible task, Armstrong implies that having a willingness to do something despite its difficulty and pursuing it until the end will always have a reward. Second, Psyche is not only rewarded with Eros, but she is also given the status of a god. When Eros takes Psyche to Olympus after completing her tasks, he convinces Zeus that Psyche has proven her love for [Eros] and therefore let her stay in heaven (230). Psyche earns herself a seat on Olympus due to the fact that she stays committed to accomplishing her given tasks, and in doing so has proven that she is prepared to undergo any task in order to be with Eros which is rewarded with a rightfully earned spot on Olympus. By rewarding Psyche for seeing her tasks through, Armstrong implies that there is a reward in diligence and hard work. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In addition, the nanoparticles contained an iron oxide coated α Fe core and a PVP surface layer. Also, the clay polymer interactions made PVP not only adsorb on the external surface but also intercalate into the interlayer space of Mt particles, developing a polymer barrier on the clay mineral surfaces. Due to the barrier related steric hindrances and/or alkaline pH derived electrostatic repulsions, the clay mineral particles built a card house flocculation structure, which after suitable washing and drying can convert to a semi card house form in dry products. Rendition Of A Single Day In One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich, Alexander Solzhenitsyn portrays the fictional rendition of a single day s conflicts for a Zek within a Stalinist labor camp. To express the conditions within the gulags, Solzhenitsyn shows how Ivan survives his agonizing daily tasks. From working through frigid temperatures to trudging through the surroundings of snow and ice, Ivan and the other prisoners labor through the harsh elements with their minimal strength in order to complete their assigned duty. Illness is inevitable in the despairing weather conditions and lack of proper health care. The men begin to lose hope in living, and neglect their assigned tasks. Man vs. nature conflict signifies the recurring weather conditions the men battle through. This conflicting aspect has the most impactful effect on the Zeks because the cold temperatures and frozen precipitation weaken them, increasingly by the hour. Weather clashes with them at all times because they are not given proper shelter. The conditions in the bunks are near what it is like out in the elements, therefore they do not have a place to return for their bodies to recover and gain heat. Because the men are not able to cope in the freezing weather, their bodies begin to shut down. The repeated exposure increasingly weakens and kills off many of the Zeks. Therefore, the most prominent form of conflict is through man vs. nature, which creates the most immense battle within the novel, forcing the laborers to fight daily for their lives. In addition to man vs. nature, another form of conflict Solzhenitsyn places throughout the book is man vs. man. The use of ancient fingerprints are not the same techniques we use today. In 1880, a man by the name of Henry Fauld, a Scottish physician working in a hospital in Japan, published his own views on the potential application of fingerprinting to personal identification (Saferstein, 2016, pg. 164). He suggested that the skin patterns could be important for the identification of criminals. After comparing different fingerprints, he began to realize that each print looked remarkably different. Fauld believed that fingerprints could be used as evidence and suggested the proposal to a fingerprint testing center, but the offer was rejected. Years later, the first prosecution fingerprints were used in the year 1905 in London (Rotella, Abbott, Gold, 2001). Ever since then fingerprints have been a valuable part of crime scene investigations and if present, it is almost guaranteed that the criminal will fit the crime. It has been a successful technique that has proved more success than any other piece of evidence. When looking at two pairs of hands it is hard to notice anything different between the two. However, there are remarkable differences between the individual s fingerprints. Therefore, market research is an important requirement to both new and existing business holdings. In the case of new businesses, one is likely to get financial assistance if they have done proper research on the market. This information can be used to guarantee the success of a new business. Market research is fundamental step that should be taken by all business because of the benefits that come with it (Beri, 2008). The main argument in the paper is that market research is an essential part of a business regardless of whether they are new or not. His steady contact with violent programs (which in the end, show a happy conclusion no matter what happens throughout) may convince him that this type of behavior is normal and accepted. Plato was concerned especially about the influence that drama and even pornography would have on children, because he felt that their minds were not developed to the full extent in order to differentiate between the right and wrong that they see in the dramas. Many people will be quick to agree that a child should not watch a rated R action movie, yet they still allow them to view a Saturday morning cartoon in which the main character gets run over every episode and still comes back the next week. It continues to be argued that this type of evidence is far too unreliable for the court room and can ultimately end up punishing the wrong person for a crime they did not commit. The influence of an eyewitness testimony cannot be denied as research has showed that, adding a single prosecution eyewitness to a murder trial summary increased the percentage of mock jurors guilty verdicts from 18 to 72 (Leippe, Manion, Romanczyk, p. 182, 1992). In the article discussed here, researchers will look into various age groups to see if age has an effect on the credibility of eyewitness testimonies while attempting to discern what certain cues build upon such credibility. Despite such criticism the effect of an eyewitness testimony is still obviously powerful which makes this issue that much more controversial. That vast increase previously mentioned was based off of a simple statement rather than an actual witness being present, which shows that a testimony does not need to be confirmed visually or audibly to be trusted. Although, the witness involved in said mock trial was an adult, as adult memory is trusted to be more accurate than that of a child s. • 31. Case Study On Small Business Managers Blunder # 6 Not having an advisor with experience Ugh. At first I was going to strike this from the list because, in my opinion, it isn t applicable to every one. Some business types may be along the road less traveled, making available advisors scarce. I can think of a few industries where the managers are hard to find and the owners and founders even harder. People with valuable experience may not be available to some of you reading right now. For the rest of us here, on the other hand, finding someone who could advise us and answer questions isn t as difficult. You may even have relatives who are in the same field you want to venture into. If I decide to open a bar or a lounge in a nice part of the city, I can (and do) get pointers ... • 34. Binaries In Great Expectations It is Charles Dickens who says that there are dark shadows on the earth, but its lights are stronger in the contrast. The theme of highlighting and appreciating goodness when comparing it to darkness is prevalent in Dickens s novel, Great Expectations. The contrast is shown through character binaries. Some may argue that Dickens does not mean for the characters to be complete opposites, and wants to treat them as individuals. However this can not be true as in the novel, Dickens is often comparing characters directly. Character binaries show that tenderness and humanity should be appreciated as shown by Estella and Biddy, Magwitch and Compeyson, and Joe and Pumblechook. Initially, Estella and Biddy s conflicting personalities highlight ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... His action, which sends him back to prison, is able to be appreciated by Pip. All though it was not true appreciation, Pip is grateful that both convicts are, for the meantime, out of his life. By the same token, Magwitch reveals Compeyson s corrupt nature by telling Pip Compeyson s business is the swindling, handwriting forging, stolen bank note passing (Dickens 323). That is to say, Compeyson, as told by Magwitch, makes poor choices and selfishly takes advantage of all he can. Compeyson s crooked actions and exploitive nature allows Magwitch s generosity to be all the more incredulous. Compared to Compeyson, who is despicable, Magwitch becomes all the more appreciated by Pip. Additionally, while Magwitch lies in the infirmary awaiting his death sentence many describe him as being humble and contrite and never [known to] complain (Dickens 425) demonstrating his remorseful and modest nature. To put it another way, Magwitch feels and admits guilt for his crimes, and demonstrates humbleness and nobility facing death. Contrary to Compeyson, who desperately avoids death and imprisonment with no guilt or shame, Magwitch s admirable personality is further recognized by all and appreciated more specifically by Pip. It is evident that Pip is able to appreciate Magwitch and his actions due to Compeyson and Magwitch s contradicting personalities enhancing Magwitch s virtue and considerate ... • 35. Anaylsis of a Dinner and Production Because there was no program or playbill to accompany this production, there was no way to know the names of the actors or actresses. The best character within the show was Sheriff Dooley Neal. Neal was a young man who had been brought into the city by Mayor Timothy O Reilly, a corrupt politician who is willing to acquire money by any means necessary. Neal believed that he was getting the job of his lifetime, until O Reilly puts him in the middle of a feud between two singing and dancing families: the Hatfield s and the McCoy s. Throughout the production, he was constantly being tricked into being in the middle of the feud and getting in trouble for things that were not necessarily his fault. There were a few malfunctions with the props during the production, however. For example, there was a scene in which Neal had to shoot his gun and break a window in a barn. He made the shooting motion, but the sound of the shot had not appeared until about one minute had passed. He and the Mayor, the only other person in the scene, had burst out in laughter but improvised the entire scene. Their laughter made it clear that it was not supposed to happen like that, but they attempted to play it off in such a way that it seemed like it was a perfectly normal mishap. Minutes later, they regained their composure and continued onto the next scene. Another great character in the dinner show was Ma McCoy, the matriarch of the McCoy family.
