A Statement on Original Sin Essay
A Statement on Original Sin
First articulated by Augustine (A.D. 354 430), the doctrine of original sin holds that all of Adam s
descendants inherit the guilt of Adam s sin and thus incur the punishment for Adam s sin. Inheriting
Adam s guilt at birth, then, presumes one guilty before God at birth and destined for hell. This is the
basis for the Catholic need for infant baptism, for the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception (that
Mary herself was uniquely conceived free of Adam s guilt), and for the belief that salvation is only
available through connection with the Church via baptism. Moreover, the belief that God holds Adam
s descendants personally accountable for Adam s sin calls into question the importance of our own
free will as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
That is, if we as Christian believers fail in gaining victory over sin even when we sincerely want to
and try, the problem is not with us personally but in our state of having inherited both Adam s guilt
and fallen nature. But Augustine s theology was flawed. While we have indeed inherited Adam s
fallen nature, we have not inherited his guilt; thus, the universal suffering that humanity endures is not
the punishment for Adam s sin in particular, it is the consequence of sin in general. And while our
inherited fallen nature works against us in overcoming sin, this disadvantage can be overcome through
the terms of the new covenant. By means of our personal connection with Christ, the power of God s
grace is imparted by the Holy Spirit (sanctification) and accessed on our part through the exercise of
our free will (which God honors for us every bit as much as He did for Adam). That is, God provides
us moral victory (imparted righteousness) when we acknowledge our helpless condition and sincerely,
continuously, and freely choose to surrender our lives to Christ and invite Him to have complete
control over us i.e. Thy will be done in my life is our constant appeal; with Paul we say, I die [to self]
daily (1 Cor. 15:31). And with Christ having fulfilled the legal terms of the everlasting covenant by
assuming our guilt and paying its debt on the cross, and in

Capability And Capacity Essay
Management of Workforce Capability and Capacity Managing the capability and capacity of the
workforce at Mountain View Middle School (MVMS) has several unique challenges. MVMS is in a
rural, agricultural setting and enrollment can fluctuate as the migrant laborers move in and out of the
area. Also, there is a well established charter junior high charter school and a newer community
charter school which provide direct competition to MVMS for student enrollment. Due to these key
factors, managing capability and capacity of the staff and building can be challenging for
administrators. According to the principal of MVMS, Wes Jensen, the middle school is fortunate to
have some flexibility in managing staff placement (capability) and the ... Show more content on

This reduces the need for in district transfers or the possible need for a reduction in workforce only to
rehire a teacher with the certification and capability to teach one specific subject. Additionally, a stable
workforce increases the school s ability to maintain daily operations, student expectations, and
positive educational outcomes. Preparation for Changing Capacity and Capability To ensure the best
possible management of workforce capacity and capability, MVMS and Blackfoot School District #55
(BSD#55) strive to identify potential issues or concerns for each coming school year and the long term
growth trends within the community. Over the course of several years, the district has been able to
identify the number of elementary students that will choose to attend a charter school rather than the
traditional elementary schools in the district. Additionally, the district is now recognizing that many of
these students are choosing to return to the district at the middle school level to have an opportunity to
participate in a greater number of athletic and co curricular activities. A key factor in identifying a
school s needs for the capacity and capability of its staff members is student enrollment numbers.
MVMS uses both pre registration in the spring and an analysis of the enrollment numbers from the
sixth grade class to project the following

Dreamworks Case Study
Risk of a loss of Reputation Dreamworks is susceptible to loss of reputation and brand image which
could hinder brand loyalty and in turn lower sales and revenues. To mitigate this risk, the company has
many corporate social responsibility initiatives to maintain their reputation as a family friendly, and
company involved in the community. The company participates in CSR initiatives such as supporting
the AIDS Project LA Walk, pediatric patients and their families at St. Jude s Hospital, and students at
various inner city centers (DreamWorks, 2015). Risk of a less successful movie release DreamWorks
faces the risk of producing a move that is not well received. In the 10 k form, the company states; We
cannot predict the economic success of any of our motion pictures because the revenue derived from
the distribution of a motion picture (which does not necessarily directly correlate with the production
or distribution costs incurred) depends primarily upon its acceptance by the public, which cannot be
accurately predicted. The economic success of a motion picture also depends upon the public s
acceptance of competing films, the availability of alternative forms of entertainment and leisure time
activities, general economic conditions and other tangible and intangible factors, all of which can
change and cannot be predicted with certainty. (DreamWorks, 2015) To mitigate this risk, the
company makes decisions that will ensure movies will be well received by audiences. The

Essay The Red Tent by Diamant
The Red Tent by Diamant
In Diamant s powerful novel The Red Tent the ever silent Dinah from the 34th chapter of Gensis is
finally given her own voice, and the story she tells is a much different one than expected. With the
guiding hands of her four mothers , Leah, Rachel, Zilpah, and Bilhah, all the wives of Jacob, we grow
with Dinah from her childhood in Mesoptamia through puberty, where she is then entered into the red
tent , and well off into her adulthood from Cannan to Egypt. Throughout her journey we learn how the
red tent is constantly looked upon for encouragement, solace, and comfort. It is where women go once
a month during menstration, where they have their babies, were they dwell in illness and most
importantly, where ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This act is translated into todays concept of rape, but as the narrative continues we see how Shechem
tries to justify his manner by claiming he fell victim to love. Being drawn to Dinah, daughter of Jacob,
and in love with the maiden, he spoke to the maiden tenderly (Genesis 34:3). This, however, is not
admissible in the eyes of Israel s men. Shechem s behavior is considered an outrage in Israel...a thing
not to be done , and therefore, hinders Shechem s aspiration of marriage to her (Genesis 34:7). One of
the ways he is able to seek mercy is by offering Dinah s brothers and father a high bride price. This
offering along with a promise for all men to be circumcised in accordance with God s command to
their grandfather Abraham: This is my covenant between Me and you and your offspring to follow
which you shall keep: every male among you shall be circumcised, is a fitting plea to their ears and
Dinah is wed off (Genesis 17:10). But what about Dinah s ears? Who is to say that she wants to marry
this man who defiled her? What is her view on it all?
Ironically, there is no mention of Dinah s feelings or thoughts throughout Genesis 34. All the attention
focuses not on Dinah, but the men around her. The one who is affected the most throughout this whole
ordeal is somehow left in the shadow. There even is no reference to how she succumbs to being raped,
and later deceived by her own blood.
After the entire male community gives consent

The Role Of Prohibition In Music
When it comes to music topics, the reoccurring subject that always seems to keep coming back is the
topic of alcohol. So, when it came to making a playlist about alcohol, I did not have too much of a
problem. I decided to take some songs that occurred during the prohibition to compare the styles and
types of music from when alcohol was outlawed to now where everyone is singing about it. The
playlist starts with a fairly old song called Gimme a pigfoot . I chose to start with this song because
not only does Bessie Smith have a very powerful voice, but this song did occur during the prohibition.
Later in the playlist is a song called Prohibition is a Failure to show how well banning alcohol went.
After that, many more songs were made about

Bullying In The Workplace Essay
To what extent can bullying in work place managed effectively by Human Resources?
BULLYING, A MAJOR ETHICAL ISSUE AT CORPORATE WORKPLACE.
Workplace bullying is described as verbal, physical, social or psychological abuse by the employer (or
manager), another person or group of employees at work (Australian Human Rights Commission, 29

causes discouragement, stress and fatigue in employees. This essay elaborates the concepts, types,

According to Einarsen et al. (2011: 15), Bullying at work means harassing, offending, socially
excluding someone or negatively affecting someone s work tasks . Research discloses that a large
number of employees face continuous bullying (Keashly and Harvey, 2006). As per studies (Leymann,
1996), bullying has to occur at least once a week for six months to be considered as bullying (Branch

that bullying can be dispute related and predatory. Bullying are caused by several reasons related to
bully s psychological problems, beliefs, fears, career goals. Reasons of bullying depends upon
seniority of bully insecurity of the bully territorial tendency of the bully and educational differences
between the bully and the victim. Methods of bullying mainly depend upon the victim, his/her job and

Why Are Veterans Important To Society
Throughout US history, many wars and battles were fought that marked America. Fighting within
those wars were brave soldiers, which to this day, we know as veterans. Veterans are important to our
nation s history and future, as they have contributed to make America the great and prosperous nation
that it is today. Veterans, along with other respected groups of people, deserve the nation s uttermost
respect for all the contributions they have made to this country known as America. Not many people
would withstand having to go off to war knowing their life was on the line. There is much respect and
gratitude inclined towards those who did and sacrificed everything they had. Our cordially veterans

One often misinterprets the true meaning of war, believing it is only a dispute that is ended through
fighting. In fact, war is more than just fighting. It is a battle where many brave souls lose their lives
for protecting the country they love. Many of the rights we have today would not have been possible
without the sacrifice of many brave American soldiers. Instead of living in a tranquil and prosperous
nation, we could be living in a nation that resembles countries such as Africa, living under poor
conditions and extreme poverty. It is imperative to take into consideration that the veterans we have
today have made an impact on our nation and we owe much of our respect to them. Not many people
have the courage to take on the heavy and overwhelming duty of going to war, knowing that death is
imminent. Along with that, many of them have experienced traumatizing moments that have scarred
them for life. Because of this, there is much appreciation and respect inclined towards

Politics And Power Motifs In Julius Caesar
Abraham Lincoln once stated Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man s
character, give him power. In Lincoln s statement a key term is power, which means the ability or right
to control people or things. Another important term in Lincoln s statement is adversity, which means a
difficult situation or condition. Taken as a whole, Lincoln means that all men can handle a difficult
period by themselves easily, but when someone has power and battles a situation it makes a person
corrupt and harder to handle situations. This is because when you have power it is easier to do the
wrong thing. Furthermore, Lincoln implies in his statement that power defines a person and power can
change a person, most of the time for the bad. Finally, when looked under the lens of William
Shakespeare s tragedy Julius Caesar, Abraham Lincoln s statement can be proven true through
Shakespeare s development of the politics and power motif. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

For example, Cassius is talking to Brutus at the Senate house before the funeral oration. Cassius is
telling Brutus that he does not think it is a good idea for Mark Antony to speak at the funeral oration
(III.I.237 260). This clearly demonstrates Brutus judgement is naive and impulsive because he does
not see the bigger picture and he believes he is more rounded than Cassius. Brutus should not be the
one to make that call since he does not know politics he knows law. This affects the work as a whole
because when Brutus let Antony speak he turned all the people against the conspirators and made the
conspirators run away in fear for their life. This example clearly shows that the Lens is true because it

The Timeless Quality of the Foundations of Excellent...
Foundations of Excellent Leadership Are Timeless
Introduction
It is often said that a manager is what one does and leader is who one is. This is especially the case
during times of turbulent economic, social and political change. In the debate of whether the
effectiveness of a leader s communication skills is dependent on their age or generation, one must take
into account one of the most critical skills in any leaders skill set, and that is emotional intelligence
(EI) (Avolio, Yammarino, 2002). Great leadership is timeless as it is predicated on respect and
motivation of subordinates and peers and subordinates, along with a very clear focus on results
attained through shared vision. It is the intent of this analysis to show that transformational leadership
is timeliness because it is predicated on principles applicable to each generation. The impact of
technology on leadership is to accelerate transparency and trust across entire organizations when
transformational leaders are driving progress to shared goals and objectives (Bernoff, Li, 2008).
Technology will amplify excellent leadership and shine a very bright light on mediocre and inferior
leadership over time (Gilley, Dixon, Gilley, 2008).
Analysis Of Transformational Leadership Across Generations
The core, foundational elements of transformational leadership are more predicated on Emotional
Intelligence (EI), charisma, communication and collaboration capacity than any topically driven or

Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw
Pygmalion, written by George Bernard Shaw, is well known for its portrayal of the rich and the poor.
At the time of its publication, it was common belief that the poor were morally inferior to the rich.
Pygmalion argues the opposite. Bernard Shaw used both static and dynamic characters to demonstrate
the equality between the social classes regarding morals and intelligence. In the case of Eliza
Doolittle, the differences are seen as she transitions from poverty to the middle class. In Pygmalion,
she is shown to be a dynamic character, undergoing many changes of personal strength, articulation,
and freedom. Throughout Pygmalion, as Eliza Doolittle increases both her confidence and her self
control, her development of personal inner strength is demonstrated. When Eliza is first introduced at
the beginning of the play, she is spirited, but lacks confidence and willpower. By the end of the play,
she has become bold, self assured, and is in control of her actions and behavior. In Act I, she is crafty
enough to lie about having change, but when it is shown that a bystander is taking down every blessed
word [she is] saying, she becomes hysterical, declaring that she is a respectable girl (1). In Act ???,
when Eliza is practicing her new behavioral and oral skills at Mrs. Higgins home, she is confident
enough to keep up her disguise. She is even known to have enough self control to cease her chattering
and politely bid farewell when Higgins suggests that it is time to

Residential Landscaping Considerations
There are a surprising number of options to consider before making a decision about the hardscaping
of your patio, pathway, or pool area. Safety, cost, and upkeep are key factors in assessing your best
material, and the residential landscaping experts at Lawns By Design say that in many ways, paver
stones offer distinct advantages over concrete options.
Safety:
Concrete blocks can be very slippery when wet, but pavers are designed to be non skidding surfaces,
which makes them an excellent choice around pools, on patios, and in walkways... or really anywhere
a human may be walking.
Cost:
At up to 15 percent less than paver stones, poured concrete slabs may look good on a calculator.

Ad Analysis Essay 11
Ad Analysis
To commit ourselves to evaluating the old vs. new we have to first find examples of the two. What I
chose to compare and contrast are ads that focus on capturing a particular audience, that audience
would be the athletes on the hardwood. Pony has long been in the running for shoe corporations and
has, as long as I can remember, made a decent focus on comfort ability and style amongst the ball
players. Just Do It has never failed to get in the minds of every and anyone willing to lay on the line
their sweat and grit in order to better their abilities in their particular sport or life. The products inspire
those to just do what they need in order to get where they want to go. Nike can easily claim itself the

Its quick in its delivery but effective enough to persuade the eye to look at the shoe. There are colors
that match the uniform worn by the player with the personalized shoe. In this instance Jason
Richardson, who plays for the Charlotte Bobcats, is the culprit that makes his mark on the feet of
those who will purchase the shoe. The ad itself doesn t play on any specific meaning. There is a
picture of the shoe with Jason Richardson around the life size shoes and words in color that read, Can
You Dig It. The shoe itself is quite unique in design, it s a new shoe that appears to be rather
comfortable and trendsetting in one. The ad doesn t use gimmicks to push its products, again that goes
back to the reputation Nike has, it simply displays its shoe and you either like it or you don t. Not as
persuasive as previous advertisements Nike has made the public accustomed to.
In my theology of the comparisons, I found that Nike has forever been and will continue to be the bar
at which everyone will strive for. They push the limits of interests in people and find ways to appeal to
the ever changing generations. The ad although rather plain in appearance is still new and does exactly
what it needed to in order to showcase the product based off of what Nike has done in the past and
what they plan doing in the near future. Pony, in my opinion, is the victor here. They have a solid
punch line in what they were trying to stress. They emphasized

Analysis Of Dear White People
The television series Dear White People by Justin Simien portrays stereotypical problems of racial
identity in today s society, however, the creator imbeds the series with hidden messages that are not
particularly intended. The show exemplifies how people of color try to deal with living in a society
where they are not particularly welcome in a place of elite higher education. It follows a group of
colored students as they navigate through life in college attending a primarily white Ivy League
university. In the series, the creator implements the ideas of two sided racism, political correctness,
and misplaced power.
Although this show suggests it is about white people and their faults, Simien portrays two sided
racism in the series although it is not addressed head on. The show s protagonist, Sam White who is
also a woman, is characterized as the angry black chic on campus because she believes all white
people have white privilege. She speaks her mind through her radio show Dear White People where
she bashes white people and their beliefs. Throughout the series, Sam speaks against white people as
oppressors, however, most people don t recognize that this is also a form of racism. For example, in
season one episode one, Sam is caught in a scandalous relationship with a white man. Those who look
up to her as a leader to the black community are disgusted with her. As the episode progresses Sam
tried to integrate her white boyfriend, Gabe, into her group but he is not welcomed. This implies that
one should not mix with the other side or everything you stand for is void. Although the show doesn t
blatantly state it Sam s group of colored friends are oppressing white people. Oppressing those who
oppress others does not make one right. The colored characters in this series blame all white people
for their problems and portray white people as always in the wrong. The show is focused on how
white people oppress others and further racism, however, what one doesn t recognize is that when the
group being oppressed upon retaliates with the exclusion of their oppressors it doesn t make them any
better. This message is not obvious but still heavily embedded throughout the series.
In Dear White People , political

Social Norms dictate what is acceptable in society and in some ways help society to productive and
orderly. Norms are a set of protocol that we have all learned and follow and laws that we are held to
because we participate in society. Many times social norms keep the average citizen to themselves and
within their own sphere unless an emergency arrives where or a situation when spontaneous must
occur. When individuals within the society break the social norms and step outside the standards that
everyone lives by, the society shuns the behavior and separates it self from the thing that is not
adhering to the social norm. Within our society we frown behaviors such as public drunkenness and
vagrancy so when we see homeless people many assume

Mandatory Prosecution Policies
In addition to many pro arrest policies prosecutors have also played a central role to enhance victim
safety and ensure offender accountability by adopting mandatory prosecution policies in domestic
abuse cases (Finn, 2013). Most research has focused on mandatory arrest policies, few studies have
evaluated the effects of mandatory prosecution policies. These policies were first used to describe the
policies and actions that prosecutors often charged offenders with when evidence of abuse existed,
with or without the cooperation or support of the victim. Ford and Regoli (1993) had been the first

How Does Female Divine Power Affect Society
Journal Entry 2/13
Christ s theory was re imagining divine power as Goddess and if this has important psychological and
political consequences for men and women. She basically is trying to re imagine our society today
with a female divine God, and she examines how that change would effect our society. She says this
female power would actually validate female power seen in our society today. Although there would
be a lot of hesitation from that actual transition from male to female divine power. This is not only a

Sterba says that men are violent out of jealousy, and wanting power, whereas women are violent

Importance Of Suffragettes
Suffragettes Taking A Vote
Survey the landscape. There are thousands of women in prisons, some being tortured, some being
force fed, and others being sexually assaulted. However, you can also view women shouting, filled
with courage, bravery, and life. People are waving banners and holding signs, fighting for their very
rights as a citizen of the United States. More accurately, citizens of the United States are fighting for
their rights as people. Welcome to Nineteenth and Twentieth Century America. The suffragettes are
taking a stand against an unfair system and earning their right to vote.

Hasty Generalization
The use of the Internet has become increasingly popular in everyday activities of many Americans.
The convenience and wealth of information at hand makes it a practical tool for managing day to day
activities, communicating and staying in touch with friends, shopping, and many other activities.
Deborah Fallows wrote an article, The Internet and Daily Life, based on a survey and research
conducted through the Pew Research Center. Fallows indicated in the article that 88% of online
Americans say the Internet plays a role in their daily routines. The activities they identified as most
significant are communicating with family and friends and finding a wealth of information at their
fingertips. She also concluded from the survey that 64% of Internet users say their daily routines and

Russell s review indicated that Shirky s hasty generalizations resulted in broad conclusions
representing himself and/or a small minority of techie people who use the Internet daily. Russell
pointed this out as Shirky noted, When the general public began using digital networks, the idea that
everyone would contribute something to the public sphere was assumed to be contradictory to nature.
Russell felt that Shirky s statement was more indicative of himself rather than the general public.
What evidence did he have to support the claim? Additionally, Russell did not feel that collaboration
through Internet use resulted in a significant change for society. Russell noted, The last time I checked

John Locke Separation Of Powers
The framers had wanted something more cohesive and efficient way to fight the ambition of man and
something better than the articles of confederation(Magleby 43). Made them turn to Montesquieu he
advocated three distinct and separate branches in which the general powers of government should
have been. While John Locke made a case for separating the legislative and executive powers,
Montesquieu provided the Founders with a compelling defense for an independent judiciary

Essay On Anselm s Ontological Argument
Ontological Argument
Anselm s ontological argument states that: We define God as the greatest of all conceived beings.
A being that is necessary is greater than a being that is not necessary.
If God exists as an idea, but not in reality, then we can imagine something greater than Him.
If God is a perfect being, we cannot imagine a being greater than Him.
Thus, if God exists in the mind as an idea, then God necessarily exists in reality.
In Anselm s argument, necessary existence means that the existence of something is not dependent on
any other being. For God to have necessary existence, then his existence is not dependent on anything.
In nature, almost every living being is dependent on something such as a parent. Thus, making God
the only being to have necessary existence.
However, there are many reasons that the ontological argument can be deemed invalid. It equivocates
between different frames of reference. Nothing greater that can be thought is not the same as nothing
greater than can exist. This argument only really shows that the greatest thing to exist in reality will
always be greater than its imaginary counterpart, which is not true as anything that exists in reality is
more susceptible to flaws, but a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Ethnography Research Papers
Our Ethnography Research is how student s religious views affect their political views from a
standpoint of three different religions. Since we live in a college town, we decided the appropriate
demographic should be a college student between the age of 18 and 21. I got to interview a close
friend of mine, Danny. Danny is a sophomore at Oregon State University and he describes himself as a
Seventh Day Adventist, which is a smaller branch of Christianity and as a Democrat. I got to ask him
many questions that one would not usually get asked, which made the interview fairly difficult, but I
got to meet an entirely new friend.
The first question is, What do you feel shapes your view on pro choice / pro life? His response was
pro life because of his religion. Danny believes that he is pro life because his parents raised him to
accept every blessing as a gift from God. Along with that he reckons that a parent that aborts their
child should receive a considerable punishment. If the parents do not want to keep the child they
should give it up for adoption instead of aborting a gift from God. As a Christian ... Show more

Patience In Romeo And Juliet
A wise man does not try to hurry history. Many wars have been avoided by patience and many have
been precipitated by reckless haste says Adlai Stevenson, a former UN Ambassador who had to work
with people from many different backgrounds and get them to agree on sensitive topics. These
enlightened words from Stevenson can easily relate to the love story of Romeo and Juliet, a story that
tells the tale of two young teenagers who become lovestruck over one another the minute they lay
their eyes upon one another. The young couple desperately wants to get married, but their feuding
families, the Capulets and the Montagues, are in their way. Romeo and Juliet tragically decided to

Either thou or I or both must go with him! (3.1.133 134). The play makes clear that the death of
Romeo s best friend pushed him into letting haste control his actions, which led him to kill Tybalt. It
illustrates how anytime a decision is made in a hasty manner, it will lead to worse outcome. In my
past, I was in a friendship were I was enraged about some of the things that one of my friends was
saying to me and my friends. I became impatient and didn t want to try to work things out, which led
me to ending the friendship. If I would have had more patience and tried to manage the problem, it
may have prevented the awkwardness that still exists between us to this day and could have allowed
the friendship to stay. Another example from the story that illustrated haste is the passage, Thursday is
near. Lay hand on heart. Advise. If you be mine, I ll give you to my friend. If you be not, hang! Beg!
Starve! Die in the streets! (3.5.203 204). Shakespeare continues to present how the characters like
Lord and Lady Capulet reacted with more rashness and how their rashness continued to negatively
impact the outcome. Juliet s parents thought it would be best for her well being to marry her off since
she was upset about the death of her cousin Tybalt. They ended up pushing her into a situation she
didn t want to be in without consulting

Devil Facial Tumour Disease Case Study
Introduction: What is Tasmanian Devil Facial Tumour Disease?
 Identified in 1996 the Tasmanian Devil Facial Tumour Disease (DFTD) is the growth of fatal
tumours on the faces of Tasmanian Devils (Sarcophilus harrisii), specifically the mouth and teeth.
(Hamede RK, McCallum H Jones M, 2013)
 Affecting the largest carnivorous marsupial alive (Beeton N McCallum H, 2011) the tumour cells
are transmitted through the biting of one Devil to another either in attack to access food first, or
predominantly as part of mating. (Grueber CE et al. 2015)
 Tasmanian Devils have little genetic diversity especially when it comes to a crucial
histocompatibility complex gene that is required for efficient immune system functioning in the
species. (Hamede ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Genetic Research on the Histocompatibility Complex and Telomeres
The DFTD tumour is accepted to be clonal, originating from a single Schwann cell that did not dye in
the Devil it first infected rather spreading through the species. (Grueber CE et.al 2015)
The Histocompatibility Complex genome is important for an organism to distinguish its own cells
from foreign cells, yet Tasmanian Devils have a variation in this gene resulting in the tumour cell
going unidentified by the body. (Siddle H et.al 2012)
Finding a way to restore the function of the Histocompatibility Complex genome so that it can activate
antibodies such as β2 microglobulin (β2 m) to kill the tumour should be an area focused on because it
can then be introduced into one infected Devil that can bite others and so the genome is passed on.
(Siddle H et.al 2012)
The DFTD tumour cells also have chromosomes that have been protected from misshaping by strong
Telomere and Shelterin compounds that should worn of long ago due to a lot of DNA replication.
(Grueber CE et al. 2015)
Targeting these Telomere/Shelterin compounds may be useful to suppress the tumour cells, killing it

Frankenstein By Nora Smith Analysis
1. Literary criticisms have been developed by a variety of different authors and critics. There are
hundreds of different ways in which one can analyze a text. One of the more popular forms of literary
criticism is feminist criticism. Throughout history men have been dominant over women and this
reflects in writing and literature. Feminine ideas and characters are repressed by a more dominant
masculine presence. The aim of feminist criticism is to explore this repression, analyze how feminine
aspects are portrayed, and expose sexism and female oppression in all types of texts.
Feminist critics look to rediscover works of female writers that have been overshadowed by masculine
culture. They also educate the population about the equality or ... Show more content on

The main components of Mary Shelley s Frankenstein come from her own personal experiences and
the society she lived in. Being a woman, Mary Shelley was subject to the social norms and traditions
of treating women as lesser equals to men. In Johanna Smith s critical analysis of Frankenstein she
says that the man s public sphere of commerce and ... the woman s private sphere of home and
passivity (313) were very much present in Mary s society. Mary was left alone to deal with very
troubling events, the deaths of [her] two daughters... and the death of [her] three and a half year old
son William (10). It is very difficult for a parent to comprehend the loss of a child, much less a mother.
The suffering and loss she endured is reflected in Frankenstein when the main character, Victor, is left
alone to suffer through the loss of his loved ones. This theme of loss is a main component of
Frankenstein and this mirrors events in Mary s life that were caused by gender inequality and female
oppression. Mary was a woman and these events are very traumatic and influential for women. Mary
Shelley was also a victim of the repression of female texts, she even published anonymously...to keep
her identity hidden (313). This is a main reason why female characters do not play a large role in the
story. Mary was accustomed to a society dominated by a masculine presence where women were not
supposed to have their opinions heard. The story is therefore told primarily through male characters

Lao Tzu Leadership Influences
Introduction Lao Tzu, the Father of Taoism, lived a large part of his life searching for an individual s
path of natural goodness. He is known for numerous inspirational quotes, such as Be the Chief, but
never the lord. I became aware of this quote several years ago and it has been a source of
encouragement throughout my Coast Guard career. The title of lord is inherited or given as a
positional power granted by landowners. The Chief is chosen by the people to make the right
decisions for their advantage. It is an earned position of trust. Based on my interpretation of Lao Tzu s
quote, my definition of leadership is to have others follow by choice not by mere power. A person

I do not state where I see my subordinates to be. I need to be more open as to what I expect of my
subordinates to get them to meet future goals. If they do not have the future goals laid out for them,
how can I expect them to reach it? These goals will give them something measurable to strive for.
#5 Praise people for a job well done also needs my attention. I have a terrible habit of correcting and
praising in private. I need to keep correcting in private, but praise in public. I acknowledge their hard
work with awards, but those tend to have time restrictions often taking months or years after the
incidents. Giving immediate recognition is a practice I need to adopt. It is not difficult telling someone
Great job today or Good work but it is hard to get into that routine. I also realize that there must be a
balance between recognition and praise to not overdo it and thereby making it meaningless.
My hardest challenge will be #8 because it Challenges people to try out new and innovative ways to
do their work. My subordinates must be given the opportunity to grow. If they don t see me letting go
of the reigns to give them ownership, they will see my supervision as being a lord and not a leader. It
will be tough to see them disappointed with the failure; that is what stops me from letting them have
their own experiences in leadership. I need to let them try different methods to do their work if they
feel my way is not the most efficient,

Prison Vs Minimum Security Prison
Life imprisonment is any sentence of imprisonment for a crime under which convicted persons are to
remain in prison on unlimited time, traditionally for the rest of their life or if possible until paroled.
State and Federal governments maintain correctional facilities. Prisons are categorized by levels of
security. Minimum security prisons house inmates convicted of non violent offenses. Minimum
security prisons sometimes are surrounded by single fences. Medium security prisons the inmates are
housed in their own cells, but they have more opportunities to leave them. Medium security prisons
are primarily for inmates do have a history of violence. Medium security prisons have a single fence
instead of a triple fence. Medium security prisons are surrounded with fences wrapped at the top with
barbwire. Medium security prisons allow for inmates to attend treatment programs. The inmates are
locked in their cells each night and a bed check and an inmate count performed to make sure each
inmate is accounted for and in their correct cell. The outside of the prison isn t as secure as the
maximum; however, it still prevents inmates from escaping easily. Maximum security prisons are the
highest security prisons. Inmates are housed in cells and most have a history of violence. Maximum
security prisons have either thick walls or multiple reinforced fences. Maximum security prisons also
have armed guards in watch towers. Criminals that are incarcerated in maximum security have been

The Locus of Control Contsruct Essay
Locus of Control, originally conceptualized by Julian Rotter (1966), has been found to be critical to
numerous studies. Within psychology, it is considered to be a generalized expectancy regarding the
forces that determine reinforcement. Individuals with internal orientation perceive rewards as
contingent based on personal behavior, whereas those with external orientation attribute reinforcement
received to external factors such as chance and powerful others (Levenson 1981). This essay examines
the nature and significance of this psychological construct, especially in academic achievement and
health domains. Additionally, it has been argued that high internality is positively associated with
leadership while high scores of powerful others ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The creator, Leveson (1972), found that participants with chance orientation shared traits which could
not be distinguished by the P or I scales. Further, the study in anti pollution activism also support the
validity. Responses from participants demonstrated that involvement was different for those having
high scores on the P scale, compared with the Chance scale (Levenson 1974). Therefore, the Levenson
Scale is more sufficiently reliable and appropriate.
As an important predictor of health behaviors, generally, Locus of Control construct supplies health
problems and treatments with essential insights. There is evidence to suggest that patients scoring high
on the I scale might be better suited to ameliorative and preventive treatment for the sake of recovery
(Strickland 1974 cited in Levenson 1981). Additionally, patients participation in health treatment
cannot be emphasized more. Individuals that view themselves as masters of destiny are more likely to
engage in better adjustment since they have positive expectations and self control which are pivotal
determinants with regard to health outcomes (Wallston and Wallston 1978). Critics might argue that
the correlations between Locus of Control construct and health issue are not significant. Some
researchers, however, suggest that this construct has low predictive power since it fails to predict some
aspects of health, including survival rates with regard to cancer patients, controls of metabolic in
diabetes

Why Did The Russian Civil War Start
The Russian Civil War began in October of 1918. An uprising in Petrograd lit the match and things
were on a roll. The Bolsheviks gained power and were bound to be challenged for it. A major country
that opposed the Bolsheviks were the Social Revolutionaries. When the Revolutionaries were held
back by Bolshevik guards, they fired back at them by attacking their Bolshevik government. The
countries that opposed the Bolsheviks were the Revolutionaries as mentioned before, the Mensheviks
( who once controlled the Provisional Government), and the Tsarists (who wanted to put Nicholas the
second at the throne after rescuing him). The second reason that the civil war started was because of
the Czech region. Czech Prisoners were being taken across Russia who in 1918 mutinied, took control

This created a major problem for the Bolsheviks in the social race. The peasant population was so vast
that it was thought whoever could gain their vote and popularity would have the most power. In
October of 1917 their support had been confined to the working class districts associated with big
industry cities. Without any support in the countryside, where most people lived, No one thought that
the Bolsheviks would hold power for more than just a few weeks. Many people thought, and for good
reason, that the peasants would rise up against them, because of all the power they obtained together.
However, the Red Army won the civil war after many blood covered battles they fought to gain the

I think that the only way that you would be able to handle that is to go through modeling to re teach

Equal Rights and Gender Equality
Between 1923 and 1972, when the Equal Rights passed you would believe that Gender Equality
would end. It was passed in 35 states. General Equality has been going on for years. Everything would
make everything so much easier if it was Equal for both a men and a women. Where it s at home, at
work, or even at school. Why does one gender have to be better than another? Achieving Gender
equality in education means that boys and girls will have equal opportunities to realize their full
human rights and contribute to and benefit from economic, social, cultural, and political development.
Our generation can benefit so much. But it if they can benefit why is this only happening in 35 states
instead of all over the world. The biggest Gender Equality problem has to do with education. A person
s education shouldn t be determine because of their Gender. Both a man and a women can have the
same passion for education for wanting to be someone and go somewhere in life. In Pakistan a women
doesn t have the equal right to go to school and learn? This isn t just happening in Pakistan, it s
passing in many other places. Now why does this affect a women more than it a man? And that s
because in Pakistan a women doesn t have the same right in education as a man does. But why not do
something about it. Providing a quality, education leads to improved enrollment and retention but also

There was only one instrument used in this song and that was an acoustic guitar played by Mayer
himself. In this song the tone color was soft throughout the whole song. He played a quiet but sweet
guitar sound. He sang the song in a low pitch without ever getting loud which made the song have
more emotion. I believe there was compression used on this song because in some parts of the song
where he is singing in a higher pitch the music never got any louder. Furthermore, reverb was used as
well because as you listen to the music you can hear the acoustic guitar reflection even after he has
played the note. This song fits perfect into John Mayer s singing and guitar playing style. His style is
singing in a soft tone that is sweet and not very loud and this song fits that perfectly. In addition, he
plays his guitar and highlights his skills in some parts of the song which is what he likes to do in many
of his songs. Mayer also sings with a lot of emotion and this song you can just feel the emotion in the
guitar and his voice. The emotion that Mayer sings with is something that is really phenomenal about
his musical style. In this song, his message is that parents should spend time and love on your children
and show them how to love because one day they will be parents themselves. He highlights how
relationships are important and parents should lead by example so that their children will have good

Maslow s Hierarchy Of Propaganda Analysis
First of all, if you study any kind of history you know that the divide and conquer tactic has been used
by the powerful and elite for many centuries to control the masses. If you can keep people fighting
amongst each other they won t notice the bigger picture. Just like a great magician s slide of hand,
while you are looking one way they can create any illusion they wish due to your distraction. I could
go into every detail of what was said to me in my massage session yesterday by one of my clients so
easily and foolishly duped by this divide and conquer tactic like so many Americans right now. I could
break down every point and denounce it with an intelligent counterpoint, but that would suck me into
the same tactic I am speaking out against ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Republicans Why Are you Not Then Outrage by Corporate
Subsidies?
Oh that s right because most of it is going to you. When did defending profits become more of a
priority to you people than caring about your fellow countrymen and women? Is your golden egg
concept of capitalism so fragile and precious that it should be held in higher regard than human well
being? If you are so worried about protecting capitalism and a free market where is your outrage for
corporate subsidies? You don t like people getting handouts and not earning things themselves?
Isn t capitalism supposed to be a system where if you fuck your business up then oh well tough luck,
but it isn t when we spent more money subsidizing failed businesses than we ever have helping
American citizens!
According to Good Jobs First, there are 514 economic development programs in the 50 states and the
District of Columbia. More

  • 2. A Statement on Original Sin Essay A Statement on Original Sin First articulated by Augustine (A.D. 354 430), the doctrine of original sin holds that all of Adam s descendants inherit the guilt of Adam s sin and thus incur the punishment for Adam s sin. Inheriting Adam s guilt at birth, then, presumes one guilty before God at birth and destined for hell. This is the basis for the Catholic need for infant baptism, for the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception (that Mary herself was uniquely conceived free of Adam s guilt), and for the belief that salvation is only available through connection with the Church via baptism. Moreover, the belief that God holds Adam s descendants personally accountable for Adam s sin calls into question the importance of our own free will as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... That is, if we as Christian believers fail in gaining victory over sin even when we sincerely want to and try, the problem is not with us personally but in our state of having inherited both Adam s guilt and fallen nature. But Augustine s theology was flawed. While we have indeed inherited Adam s fallen nature, we have not inherited his guilt; thus, the universal suffering that humanity endures is not the punishment for Adam s sin in particular, it is the consequence of sin in general. And while our inherited fallen nature works against us in overcoming sin, this disadvantage can be overcome through the terms of the new covenant. By means of our personal connection with Christ, the power of God s grace is imparted by the Holy Spirit (sanctification) and accessed on our part through the exercise of our free will (which God honors for us every bit as much as He did for Adam). That is, God provides us moral victory (imparted righteousness) when we acknowledge our helpless condition and sincerely, continuously, and freely choose to surrender our lives to Christ and invite Him to have complete control over us i.e. Thy will be done in my life is our constant appeal; with Paul we say, I die [to self] daily (1 Cor. 15:31). And with Christ having fulfilled the legal terms of the everlasting covenant by assuming our guilt and paying its debt on the cross, and in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Capability And Capacity Essay Management of Workforce Capability and Capacity Managing the capability and capacity of the workforce at Mountain View Middle School (MVMS) has several unique challenges. MVMS is in a rural, agricultural setting and enrollment can fluctuate as the migrant laborers move in and out of the area. Also, there is a well established charter junior high charter school and a newer community charter school which provide direct competition to MVMS for student enrollment. Due to these key factors, managing capability and capacity of the staff and building can be challenging for administrators. According to the principal of MVMS, Wes Jensen, the middle school is fortunate to have some flexibility in managing staff placement (capability) and the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This reduces the need for in district transfers or the possible need for a reduction in workforce only to rehire a teacher with the certification and capability to teach one specific subject. Additionally, a stable workforce increases the school s ability to maintain daily operations, student expectations, and positive educational outcomes. Preparation for Changing Capacity and Capability To ensure the best possible management of workforce capacity and capability, MVMS and Blackfoot School District #55 (BSD#55) strive to identify potential issues or concerns for each coming school year and the long term growth trends within the community. Over the course of several years, the district has been able to identify the number of elementary students that will choose to attend a charter school rather than the traditional elementary schools in the district. Additionally, the district is now recognizing that many of these students are choosing to return to the district at the middle school level to have an opportunity to participate in a greater number of athletic and co curricular activities. A key factor in identifying a school s needs for the capacity and capability of its staff members is student enrollment numbers. MVMS uses both pre registration in the spring and an analysis of the enrollment numbers from the sixth grade class to project the following ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

This act is translated into todays concept of rape, but as the narrative continues we see how Shechem tries to justify his manner by claiming he fell victim to love. Being drawn to Dinah, daughter of Jacob, and in love with the maiden, he spoke to the maiden tenderly (Genesis 34:3). This, however, is not admissible in the eyes of Israel s men. Shechem s behavior is considered an outrage in Israel...a thing not to be done , and therefore, hinders Shechem s aspiration of marriage to her (Genesis 34:7). One of the ways he is able to seek mercy is by offering Dinah s brothers and father a high bride price. This offering along with a promise for all men to be circumcised in accordance with God s command to their grandfather Abraham: This is my covenant between Me and you and your offspring to follow which you shall keep: every male among you shall be circumcised, is a fitting plea to their ears and Dinah is wed off (Genesis 17:10). But what about Dinah s ears? Who is to say that she wants to marry this man who defiled her? What is her view on it all? Ironically, there is no mention of Dinah s feelings or thoughts throughout Genesis 34. All the attention focuses not on Dinah, but the men around her. In Lincoln s statement a key term is power, which means the ability or right to control people or things. Another important term in Lincoln s statement is adversity, which means a difficult situation or condition. Taken as a whole, Lincoln means that all men can handle a difficult period by themselves easily, but when someone has power and battles a situation it makes a person corrupt and harder to handle situations. This is because when you have power it is easier to do the wrong thing. Furthermore, Lincoln implies in his statement that power defines a person and power can change a person, most of the time for the bad. • 12. The Timeless Quality of the Foundations of Excellent... Foundations of Excellent Leadership Are Timeless Introduction It is often said that a manager is what one does and leader is who one is. This is especially the case during times of turbulent economic, social and political change. In the debate of whether the effectiveness of a leader s communication skills is dependent on their age or generation, one must take into account one of the most critical skills in any leaders skill set, and that is emotional intelligence (EI) (Avolio, Yammarino, 2002). Great leadership is timeless as it is predicated on respect and motivation of subordinates and peers and subordinates, along with a very clear focus on results attained through shared vision. It is the intent of this analysis to show that transformational leadership is timeliness because it is predicated on principles applicable to each generation. The impact of technology on leadership is to accelerate transparency and trust across entire organizations when transformational leaders are driving progress to shared goals and objectives (Bernoff, Li, 2008). Technology will amplify excellent leadership and shine a very bright light on mediocre and inferior leadership over time (Gilley, Dixon, Gilley, 2008). At the time of its publication, it was common belief that the poor were morally inferior to the rich. Pygmalion argues the opposite. Bernard Shaw used both static and dynamic characters to demonstrate the equality between the social classes regarding morals and intelligence. In the case of Eliza Doolittle, the differences are seen as she transitions from poverty to the middle class. In Pygmalion, she is shown to be a dynamic character, undergoing many changes of personal strength, articulation, and freedom. Throughout Pygmalion, as Eliza Doolittle increases both her confidence and her self control, her development of personal inner strength is demonstrated. When Eliza is first introduced at the beginning of the play, she is spirited, but lacks confidence and willpower. In Act I, she is crafty enough to lie about having change, but when it is shown that a bystander is taking down every blessed word [she is] saying, she becomes hysterical, declaring that she is a respectable girl (1). • 17. Analysis Of Dear White People The television series Dear White People by Justin Simien portrays stereotypical problems of racial identity in today s society, however, the creator imbeds the series with hidden messages that are not particularly intended. The show exemplifies how people of color try to deal with living in a society where they are not particularly welcome in a place of elite higher education. It follows a group of colored students as they navigate through life in college attending a primarily white Ivy League university. In the series, the creator implements the ideas of two sided racism, political correctness, and misplaced power. Although this show suggests it is about white people and their faults, Simien portrays two sided racism in the series although it is not addressed head on. The show s protagonist, Sam White who is also a woman, is characterized as the angry black chic on campus because she believes all white people have white privilege. She speaks her mind through her radio show Dear White People where she bashes white people and their beliefs. Throughout the series, Sam speaks against white people as oppressors, however, most people don t recognize that this is also a form of racism. For example, in season one episode one, Sam is caught in a scandalous relationship with a white man. Those who look up to her as a leader to the black community are disgusted with her. As the episode progresses Sam tried to integrate her white boyfriend, Gabe, into her group but he is not welcomed. This implies that one should not mix with the other side or everything you stand for is void. Although the show doesn t blatantly state it Sam s group of colored friends are oppressing white people. Oppressing those who oppress others does not make one right. The colored characters in this series blame all white people for their problems and portray white people as always in the wrong. The show is focused on how white people oppress others and further racism, however, what one doesn t recognize is that when the group being oppressed upon retaliates with the exclusion of their oppressors it doesn t make them any better. This message is not obvious but still heavily embedded throughout the series. In Dear White People , political ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 26. Essay On Anselm s Ontological Argument Ontological Argument Anselm s ontological argument states that: We define God as the greatest of all conceived beings. In Anselm s argument, necessary existence means that the existence of something is not dependent on any other being. For God to have necessary existence, then his existence is not dependent on anything. In nature, almost every living being is dependent on something such as a parent. Thus, making God the only being to have necessary existence. However, there are many reasons that the ontological argument can be deemed invalid. It equivocates between different frames of reference. Nothing greater that can be thought is not the same as nothing greater than can exist. This argument only really shows that the greatest thing to exist in reality will always be greater than its imaginary counterpart, which is not true as anything that exists in reality is more susceptible to flaws, but a ... I would love to see and study the buildings amazing history and Architecture. Its location is beautiful as it was built in the chateau of the Loire valley (a lake in France), and is known for its amazing history. Since we live in a college town, we decided the appropriate demographic should be a college student between the age of 18 and 21. I got to interview a close friend of mine, Danny. Danny is a sophomore at Oregon State University and he describes himself as a Seventh Day Adventist, which is a smaller branch of Christianity and as a Democrat. I got to ask him many questions that one would not usually get asked, which made the interview fairly difficult, but I got to meet an entirely new friend. The first question is, What do you feel shapes your view on pro choice / pro life? His response was pro life because of his religion. Danny believes that he is pro life because his parents raised him to accept every blessing as a gift from God. • 29. Patience In Romeo And Juliet A wise man does not try to hurry history. Many wars have been avoided by patience and many have been precipitated by reckless haste says Adlai Stevenson, a former UN Ambassador who had to work with people from many different backgrounds and get them to agree on sensitive topics. These enlightened words from Stevenson can easily relate to the love story of Romeo and Juliet, a story that tells the tale of two young teenagers who become lovestruck over one another the minute they lay their eyes upon one another. The young couple desperately wants to get married, but their feuding families, the Capulets and the Montagues, are in their way. Romeo and Juliet tragically decided to make extreme decisions in order to have a chance to be together ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Either thou or I or both must go with him! (3.1.133 134). The play makes clear that the death of Romeo s best friend pushed him into letting haste control his actions, which led him to kill Tybalt. It illustrates how anytime a decision is made in a hasty manner, it will lead to worse outcome. In my past, I was in a friendship were I was enraged about some of the things that one of my friends was saying to me and my friends. I became impatient and didn t want to try to work things out, which led me to ending the friendship. If I would have had more patience and tried to manage the problem, it may have prevented the awkwardness that still exists between us to this day and could have allowed the friendship to stay. Another example from the story that illustrated haste is the passage, Thursday is near. Lay hand on heart. Advise. If you be mine, I ll give you to my friend. If you be not, hang! Beg! Starve! Die in the streets! (3.5.203 204). Shakespeare continues to present how the characters like Lord and Lady Capulet reacted with more rashness and how their rashness continued to negatively impact the outcome. Devil Facial Tumour Disease Case Study Introduction: What is Tasmanian Devil Facial Tumour Disease?  Identified in 1996 the Tasmanian Devil Facial Tumour Disease (DFTD) is the growth of fatal tumours on the faces of Tasmanian Devils (Sarcophilus harrisii), specifically the mouth and teeth. (Hamede RK, McCallum H Jones M, 2013)  Affecting the largest carnivorous marsupial alive (Beeton N McCallum H, 2011) the tumour cells are transmitted through the biting of one Devil to another either in attack to access food first, or predominantly as part of mating. There are hundreds of different ways in which one can analyze a text. One of the more popular forms of literary criticism is feminist criticism. Throughout history men have been dominant over women and this reflects in writing and literature. Feminine ideas and characters are repressed by a more dominant masculine presence. The aim of feminist criticism is to explore this repression, analyze how feminine aspects are portrayed, and expose sexism and female oppression in all types of texts. Feminist critics look to rediscover works of female writers that have been overshadowed by masculine culture. They also educate the population about the equality or ... Being a woman, Mary Shelley was subject to the social norms and traditions of treating women as lesser equals to men. Mary was left alone to deal with very troubling events, the deaths of [her] two daughters... and the death of [her] three and a half year old son William (10). It is very difficult for a parent to comprehend the loss of a child, much less a mother. The suffering and loss she endured is reflected in Frankenstein when the main character, Victor, is left alone to suffer through the loss of his loved ones. This theme of loss is a main component of Frankenstein and this mirrors events in Mary s life that were caused by gender inequality and female oppression. Mary was a woman and these events are very traumatic and influential for women. Mary Shelley was also a victim of the repression of female texts, she even published anonymously...to keep her identity hidden (313). This is a main reason why female characters do not play a large role in the story. The title of lord is inherited or given as a positional power granted by landowners. The Chief is chosen by the people to make the right decisions for their advantage. • 35. The Locus of Control Contsruct Essay Locus of Control, originally conceptualized by Julian Rotter (1966), has been found to be critical to numerous studies. Within psychology, it is considered to be a generalized expectancy regarding the forces that determine reinforcement. Individuals with internal orientation perceive rewards as contingent based on personal behavior, whereas those with external orientation attribute reinforcement received to external factors such as chance and powerful others (Levenson 1981). This essay examines the nature and significance of this psychological construct, especially in academic achievement and health domains. Additionally, it has been argued that high internality is positively associated with leadership while high scores of powerful others ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The creator, Leveson (1972), found that participants with chance orientation shared traits which could not be distinguished by the P or I scales. Further, the study in anti pollution activism also support the validity. Responses from participants demonstrated that involvement was different for those having high scores on the P scale, compared with the Chance scale (Levenson 1974). Therefore, the Levenson Scale is more sufficiently reliable and appropriate. As an important predictor of health behaviors, generally, Locus of Control construct supplies health problems and treatments with essential insights. There is evidence to suggest that patients scoring high on the I scale might be better suited to ameliorative and preventive treatment for the sake of recovery (Strickland 1974 cited in Levenson 1981). Additionally, patients participation in health treatment cannot be emphasized more. Individuals that view themselves as masters of destiny are more likely to engage in better adjustment since they have positive expectations and self control which are pivotal determinants with regard to health outcomes (Wallston and Wallston 1978). Critics might argue that the correlations between Locus of Control construct and health issue are not significant. Some researchers, however, suggest that this construct has low predictive power since it fails to predict some aspects of health, including survival rates with regard to cancer patients, controls of metabolic in diabetes ... When the Revolutionaries were held back by Bolshevik guards, they fired back at them by attacking their Bolshevik government. The countries that opposed the Bolsheviks were the Revolutionaries as mentioned before, the Mensheviks ( who once controlled the Provisional Government), and the Tsarists (who wanted to put Nicholas the second at the throne after rescuing him).
