My Personal Worldview Paper
My personal worldview explains the way I view and live life through the assumptions and
beliefs I hold in response to the world around me. I believe I was created for a specific reason
and purpose. What do I believe to be true? I believe that God exists and that he is the creator of
everything that exists. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God, John 1:1 (NIV). This is biblical proof that God exists. The verse that explains that
God has always existed is, Revelation 22:13, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the
Last, the Beginning and the End (NIV). God has been alive forever, since before my start and
before the start of everything I know. God is the originator of creation itself.... Show more content

I must find my calling if I am to truly live my life to the fullest and to live out God s plan for my
life. God is the only one who can help me find my purpose. He has had a plan for my life long
before I was even born and that God has a purpose for me that no one else could fulfill. For I know
the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to
give you hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV). This means that no matter what I do as long
as I am in accordance with God s will, everything will turn out for the best in the end. God has
promised to give me hope and a future and to bless my life. For we are God s handiwork, created in
Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do, Ephesians 2:10 (NIV).
With this knowledge I know that God has created me exactly the way I should be and that he has
given me talents and skills enough to do all he asks of me to do. I was created in God s image,
created with God s character of love, mercy, grace and righteousness. According to
AllAboutWorldviews.com, Christians believe God has revealed Himself to people in a general way
through creation and in a special (personal) way evidenced by His divine words and acts contained
in the Bible and especially in the person of Jesus Christ (2002, p.1). Through the Bible I can see
specific evidence of what God s character looks like,

Economic Systems And Economic System
An economic system governs how a society s resources are allocated between people, and so the
question of its morality is immensely important (Winfield, et al, 2014). This essay will analyse the
different economic systems by considering the two economic systems that fall on the extreme ends
of the spectrum of economic systems, these being capitalismand socialism. It will further discuss the
characteristics of each of these economic systems and based on these, argue that the mixed
economy is the best alternative economic system. The forms of regulations that create efficiencies
and those that create inefficiencies will be argued for and the importance and benefits of these
regulations will be analysed. .
A capitalist economic system is one that is predominantly characterised by free markets, private
ownership and limited government intervention. Free markets are commonly known for their
ability to achieve economic efficiency primarily through the volunteer nature of exchange and the
existence of competition amongst producers (Winfield, et al, 2014). Adam Smith believed that the
goal of every economic system should be to achieve economic efficiency through the mechanisms
of productive and allocative efficiency. Productive efficiency can be defined as producing goods
and services for the lowest cost while allocative efficiency is more concerned with the distribution
and allocation of resources in the economy to where they are valued most and can attain maximum
satisfaction for

Sell Your Son Samuel Analysis
Rees, you have demonstrated your love for and faith in God consistently over many years, time
and time again. You gave up the privilege of raising your son Samuel for the greater honor of
serving God in Africa, and your intercessions played a part in molding the events of World War II.
Do not give up. Keep pressing in to find and follow Gods will for your life, because He has proven
Himself faithful. When you prayed for God to raise up a Bible college to train the young
Christians of Wales, He provided the funds for you to purchase the Glynderwen property and start
the college yourself. Later, He also supplied the means to buy the Derwen Fawr and Sketty Isaf
properties, which served as an addition to the college and a home for missionaries children,

God has called you to bless the Jews, His chosen people, and He gave you this burden. He will use
your gift to remind them of His faithfulness and goodness towards them. Justice cries out on
behalf of the Jews, and in giving your gift, you will help administer justice to this persecuted
people. The third reason that you should sell your properties is that this call is God s answer.
You were praying for the money to help the Jews, and you asked God to give you their burdens.
Again, the golden rule of faith reminds you that God may choose to use you as an answer to
your own prayers. You must be willing to sacrifice of yourself and trust God, even as Abraham
did when he laid Isaac on the altar to sacrifice him. Some argue that you should not sell your
properties because the money for your gift could be provided another way. You had prayed for
the money, and you believed it would come. They say that maybe the money could come another
way, and you would not have to sell the properties. Nevertheless, God has already revealed to you
the way He has chosen to provide for the Jews, and there is no use arguing with

Analysis Of The Episode Space Cadet Essay
Introduction Family Guy is an animated, American, comedy, television show that is

Use Of Neuroticism On Self Esteem
The Affect that the Manipulation of Neuroticism has on Self Esteem. Life Satisfaction is rapidly
becoming a greater issue that is being researched and tested in countries all over the world.
Positive levels of life satisfaction is associated with positive personal, psychological, and social
predictors considered in both the future and the present. (Marcionetti Rossier). Positive life
satisfaction can be a predictor for higher levels of self esteem, greater knowledge of oneself, and a
strong correlation of personality traits. Moreover, self esteem seems to be a mediator of the
relationship between personality traits and global life satisfaction, suggesting that it might be

One s self esteem can change rather quickly depending on external situations such as your mood,
relationships with others, and your performance in different aspects of your life. A study was
conducted by Orth Luciano to research the correlation between positive self esteem and stressful
life events. Orth Luciano define self esteem as an individual s subjective evaluation of his or her
with as a person... self esteem does not necessarily reflect the person s objective talents,
competencies, or social status (Orth Luciano, 2015, p.708). Orth and Luciano tested the
possibility that the possibility that stressful life events influence one s self esteem but also the
idea that self esteem influences the possibility that stressful life events will occur. Self esteem is
an important area of study to test how vulnerable it is and how the strength of your self esteem
can be affected either positively or negatively by your personality. In testing the ability to
manipulate self esteem, it gives insight into how easily manipulatable one s self esteem is in an
everyday life or situation. Sowislo and Orth conducted a study to test the vulnerability of yourself
esteem and how personality traits can contribute to the fluctuation. When one has a vulnerable self

Sir Isaac Newton s Scientific Revolution
Sir Isaac Newton, one of the leading figures of the scientific revolution, discovered numerous
fundamental laws of physics. Here s the catch he started discovering them at just 23 years old! Isaac
Newton s scientific work throughout the 17th century impacted the modern world with a turning
point in history that would change the way we deal with modern science and mathematics. Isaac
Newtonis often referred to as the father of science, an honorary name. Newton s work has greatly
impacted not only the ways we study and use science, but our everyday lives as well. For example,
Newton also discovered the laws of motion (force, inertia, reaction), gravity, and light s components.
His work was studied using experiments that questioned the natural world and tested hypotheses.
His system of calculus showed extreme thinking and high intelligence. Newton s life and work is
one of the most predominant turning points of the Scientific Revolution and the mathematical
pursuit of knowledge, including his laws of physics, experimentation that can be repeated,
predicted, and verified today, and the anticipation, development, and rigorization of calculus.
The new knowledge presented and demonstrated by Isaac Newton in the 17th century includes
motion (force, inertia, reaction), universal gravity, and even the principles of how light works, all
key elements of physics. Newton, like all physicists, developed and used equations to support and
demonstrate his hypotheses. His equations and laws

Criminal Behavior Psychology
Criminal behavior is related to three factors, the psychological, biological and social variables.
Research demonstrates that the psychological condition of people influences their anatomy. The
connection health disorders and crime mind boggling, and the complications make up a significant
reason for crimes. Individuals who encounter delusions and hallucinations will probably partake in
criminal behavior. Mental health, for example, schizophrenia is connected to violence and crime.
The identity, cognitive capacity, and impulse capacity of people are likewise connected with
criminal practices. Criminal control approach concentrated on the psychological variables of people
utilizes measures, for example, preparing, advancements of mindfulness, rehabilitation, and
resocialization. Therapists perceive the past conduct of people as the best indicator of future actions.
Different ideologies, for example, the behavioral theory, cognitive theory, and trait speculations are
utilized to clarify the psychological reasons for criminal behavior (Gudjonsson, 2016). A few
people are conceived with violent propensities while others learn violence through life encounters,
for example, the media and ecological encounters. The cognitive ... Show more content on

Walmart Corporation s Labor And Employee Relations

world, where 2.3 million associates meet the needs of more than 260 million customers every
week. These numbers are huge, and with so many locations around the globe, they have had
allegations been made by employees regarding their dissatisfaction about poor work conditions,
gender discrimination, low wages, poor benefits, and inadequate health care. Walmart has been
criticized for its policies against labor unions and this issue has prompted public outrage,

Walmart however claims that their managers can handle complaints and grievance and that their
employees do not need to pay a union to advocate for them. Walmart management views labor
unions as negative (Ali, 2015), but if utilized correctly, it can actually have a positive effect on
their business. Strong labor relations can make a business more successful in the long run and
can help both employers and employees. Managers sometimes get the chills when they think of
unions organizing in their businesses and sometimes adopt an adverse approach to any existing
labor group. However, organizations can reap several benefits from the presence of a labor union
if management and the labor unions work together toward the same goals. When employees
contribute into the production process for a service, the quality increases as there is greater
commitment on the part of those making or delivering the end product. Dealing with labor unions
improves employee satisfaction as they can rely on them as their voice to speak to the employers
(Arthur, 2017). What Are The Key Issues Regarding Employee And Labor Relations? Over the

The Oversexualization And Objectification Of Women
The Oversexualization and Objectification of Women
On all platforms of media, women and even young girls are oversexualized; thus leading to men
viewing women as no more than breasts, vaginas, legs, or any other body part they prefer. Even in
current television shows, movies, comic books, and advertisements, women are still depicted as
sexual objects, which can damage a woman s confidence. The oversexualization of women s bodies
can degrade a young woman s confidence, and when girls try to boost confidence by dressing or
acting like the women they see in the media, they are reprimanded for it. Girls cannot be blamed for
their sexualization; they are just emulating what they see in the media. On television and in movies,
women are often portrayed as the love interest for the main male character or the succubus that tries
to gain the main character s love through temptation. Most the women depicted in the romances are
white, thin, and busty. Often the attractive female lead has a best friend who is deemed overweight
and never receives any romantic interactions. The only goal the female character has is to gain the
attention of the main character. In other movies and television shows when the female character is
not considered attractive, she must go through a complete makeover before her love interest even
notices her. Once the makeover is complete, the girl s love interest is completely stupefied with her
beauty and instantly falls in love with her. This plot device leads

Pandas do not hibernate. If the temperatures become too cold, they will take shelter in a cave or

just lay down on the ground wherever they may be.
Mating habits are similar to all other bears. They have scent glands are their tail and they use it
as a brush to rub their scent on their territory. Pandas have a highly developed sense of smell that
they use to track down females in mating season and steer clear of other males. A typical gestation
period for a female is 5 months. The cub is born into a bamboo nest, blind and unable to walk until
months after birth. The infants don t get their coloring black coloring until after maturing a bit.
The Giant Panda Bear, or Ailuropoda melanoleuca are mammals with an omnivorous diet. They

Methods Used For Monitoring Air Sheds
1. Air Quality
Airshed monitoring
Methods used for monitoring air sheds:
According to the Ministry for the Environment (2014), airshed is improved levels of air quality. A
filter dynamic measurement system (FDMS) is used to measure PM10. PM10 is an atmospheric
particulate matter less than or equal to 10 micrometres (Вµm) in diameter. The TEOM is a
proprietary system that determines particulate concentration by continuously weighing particles
deposited on a filter (Aberkane, et al., 2010, p. 4). The Ministry for the environment recommends
the amount of volatile of material depends on the composition of aerosol and temperature setting of
the TEOM. In New Zealand, the standard temperature for this setting is 40 degrees C. This method
is used extensively throughout UK, Australia and New Zealand (Ministry for the environment
2009, p. 31)

The Tolkien The Hobbit
The Hobbit
The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien is novel about a hobbit who comes to the realization that there was
more to him than what meets the eye. In the Middle Earth, around the third age, Bilbo Baggins
embarks on the adventure of a lifetime. Throughout the obstacles and hardships of the adventure,
Bilbo Baggins transforms from a man of doubts and comfort to a hero with a newfound confidence
and leadership.
The Hobbit, a book of fantasy and adventure, is likely to appeal to readers of any age. The author
who tells an entertaining story, offers all readers a chance to journey on an adventure with a
magical wizard, a hobbit and dwarves. In the beginning of the novel the author s tone transitions
from humorous to ominous and suspenseful. Humorously, the author talks about Bilbo s attitude
towards Gandalf s offer of an adventure stating, We don t want any adventures here, thank you!
You might want to try over the Hill or across the water. By this he meant the conversation was at
end (6). As the book progresses, the author s tone darkens, and the suspense of the novel rises.
One example of suspense in the novel is Bilbo s encounter with Gollum. Does it guess easy? It
must have a competition with us, my preciouss! If precious asks, and it doesn t answer, we eats

Compare And Contrast Christianity And Islam

to be Muslim and follow the teachings of Muhammad and Allah. (http://www.religionfacts.com

Christianity began before Islam in approximately 30 A.D. Christians believe in the existence of
one supreme God, creator of the universe, who remains involved in the events on earth through
the actions of his believers. The Christian theory of creation proposes God created the earth and

God. Man and woman were created on the sixth day, named Adam and Eve, and placed in a

Tempted by a serpent, they both ate the fruit and immediately became aware of human conditions,
such as being naked. When God discovered what they had done he banished them from the garden,

Influence Of Influence On The Upbringing And Rearing Of...
The word says, Train up a child in the way they should go, and when he is old he will not depart
from it.
Proverbs 22:6 New King James Version (NKJV)
In America today the rise of violence that is being committed by children is growing daily. The
pressure that is placed upon a parent to raise children in a certain demeanor has fallen to the waste
side, and every man, woman, and child is for themselves. Outside influences play a major role in
the upbringing and rearing of children no matter what age and time they were brought up in.
Men, in a word, must necessarily be controlled either by a power within them or by a power
without them; either by the Word of God or by the strong arm of man; either by the Bible or by the
bayonet.
Robert Winthrop, Speaker of the U. S. House
According to Webster s Dictionary, influence is defined as the capacity to have an effect on the
character, development, or behavior of someone or something, or the effect itself. Meaning you
become what you see the most and you develop the language of what you hear the most. There are
many influences that impact the way children perceive life and themselves, from TV, imitation of

Persuasive Essay On Guns
In 2001, 12,102 murders were caused by gun violence, 17,424 suicides from guns, 366 people
died to accidents involving guns, 316 deaths by guns had unknown reasons, and only 154 were
confirmed to be in self defense. 30,708 deaths from guns in total, and only 154 out of 30,708
deaths were self defense. Those statistics are alarming. Guns are not being used with the intent to
defend yourself. Guns are being used in today s society for celebration, murders, for sport and
gang activity. Guns are used for war, by the police force and on drill teams. Guns should not be
used in such instances where citizens can harm and even kill others . They should only be utilized
to protect their loved ones, themselves and their valuables, not used as tools of murder, suicide and
gang activity.
The Gun Owners Foundation says that guns save more lives than they take and prevent more
injuries than they inflict. This is not true at all, however. The usage of guns for self defense to
not self defense ratio is 1:24. For every time a gun is used in self defense, there are 24 shootings
that are not. Also, the country is deprived of 180 billion dollars per year due to gun violence. A
good chunk of this money comes from taxpayers. You re literally paying for these people s injuries
that come from violence involving firearms.
The Gun Owners Foundation says that criminals do not feel comfortable with civilians that carry
firearms. A law in a city in Florida that required at least one gun in every

Obesity and Its Related Issues
Obesity and its related issues; diabetes, coronary disease, osteo disease, and liver and renal failure,
is an endemic problem in contemporary American society. So much so, for instance, that First Lady
Michelle Obama has announced an initiative fighting obesity. She, too, is calling obesity an
epidemic and one of the greatest threats to the future healthof the United States. Her approach is
multifaceted, concentrating on education, availability of healthy foods, and exercise programs for
youth so that children become habituated into healthier eating and exercise regimes (Hellmich,
2010).
Unfortunately, the United States in 2012 is not a healthy country, and has not been for some time.
Studies from a number of private and public research areas tell us that the alarming trend toward
obesity has put the nation at risk, costing over $135 billion per annum on the low end of estimates.
Indeed, it is alarming to note that the trend toward obesity has exponentially risen in every single
region of the United States since 1991, as reported by the Get America Fit Foundation (Obesity
Related Statistics in America, 2008).
Besides being a recognized pandemic, the issue of obesity affects millions in terms of quality of
life (diabetes, heart disease, osteo issues, renal failure, and even psychological depression). The
irony is that the obesity issue is also directly tied to modern lifestyles fast food, sugared drinks, high
carbohydrates and preservatives and not enough fresh fruit

Anti-Aging Benefits Of The Mediterranean Diet
Anti Aging Benefits of Mediterranean Diet
September 15, 2016
Jonathan Swift said, Everybody wants to live forever, but nobody wants to grow old.
Wouldn t it be nice? If we could stay healthy and young, living as long as possible would be great.
Because that is a deep down desire of the majority, many people are always on a quest to slow
down the aging process.
So, our question for today is: What are the Anti Aging Benefits of the Mediterranean Diet?
First, we must acknowledge that no diet in the world can halt or slow the aging process. Aging is
inevitable and food is not the elixir of life although the type of food you choose can lengthen or
shorten your life.
What has been proven by numerous studies is that the Mediterranean diet ... Show more content on

People eat whatever is the most convenient with little regard for their health. This is very upsetting
and dangerous for the population as a whole.
There is a wide assumption that healthy food is not delicious. They believe that they must live on
a steady diet of raw carrots and steamed chicken breasts and decide that is not for them. They
would much rather have a fast food burger and cheese fries instead it s easier and tastier.
What they don t know is that the Mediterranean Diet is filled with DELICIOUS AND HEALTHY
food, which is why people in the Mediterranean Region are often healthier and live longer lives than
Americans.
The foundation of the Med Diet is fresh vegetables. In the US, vegetables are typically an
afterthought, with unhealthy choices like fried potatoes being classified as vegetables.
When you make vegetables the center of your meals, you will get your daily dose of antioxidants
to fight the free radicals in your body; plus give your body necessary nutrients and keep your skin
healthy and supple.
Fruit is another important part of the Med diet. They are filled with nutrients and rich in fiber,
which slows down digestion so you do not get hungry as quickly. The fruit also prevents sugar

The Southern California natural gas leak was the biggest of its kind in U.S. history. This natural
gas leak was pumping out enough methane to fill a balloon the size of the Rose Bowl every day

of the accident published in the journal Science, more than 100,000 tons of methane which is a
powerful greenhouse gasthat has 25 times the warming energy of carbon dioxidehad been releasing
itself into the world from a natural gaswell in Aliso Canyon for 112 days without anyone even

The Bay of Pigs was an attempted invasion that occurred on the south coast of Cuba. While
researching this occurrence, it seems that it was a failed attempt to invade communist Cuba.
This invasion was to overthrow the communist leader, Fidel Castro, had power in office until the
year 2008. The main reason for the failure, many believe, is because of the Central Intelligence
Agency, under the power of the young President John F. Kennedy (Bay of Pigs 378). The
purpose of this research paper is to review the events of what was supposed to happen, opposed to
what actually took place. Communism is a different type of economic system in which only one
person, or a group of people with the same political views, are in power of the country. Some...

He then stated that he knew the United Stated CIA was behind the attack. They figured out this

Mini Essay on Family Relations
Mini Essay on Family Relations
A family is a connection between people either by adoption, blood or marriage. In the three stories
read in class many of the family members are emotionally detached from each other. Emotional
detachment is when a person avoids making connections with those in his/her personal and social
round. The members in Louisa, Walter and Paul s families show emotional detachmenttowards
Louisa, Walter and Paul because their family members do not understand them nor do they wantto.
Louisa s mother, from Shirley Jackson s short story, Louisa Please Come Home, is emotionally
detached from Louisa because she does not share a mother daughter connection with her. Louisa
s mother continuously buys clothes for her even though she does not like them. Her mother
picked [the coat] which she wants Louisa to wear (49). Admittedly, Louisa s mother shows
emotional detachment towards Louisa because she does not ask her daughter what she would
like to wear. Moreover, Louisa s mother should already know Louisa s fashion sense. Most
mothers know their children s likes and dislikes because they love their children and do not
want to upset them. Since Louisa s family does not pay attention towards Louisa s needs, she
feels neglected. This pushes her to run away, which shows that Louisa s family is not close
enough to begin with. In fact, Louisa s mother does not care for Louisa s opinion and does not
give her freedom of choice. Her mother s behaviour leads Louisa to be

Depression And Depression In The Scarlet Letter By...
It will take over every thought, control one s very being until they truly believe they are
hopeless, broken, and undeserving of even the most basic comforts. It will drain the very soul
until there is no spirit left in a person. Everyone will experience it at least once in their lifetime,
whether it s from a close family death or a disfiguration of the mind. It does not discriminate race,
gender, religion or profession; it is depression. The symptoms of depression often seen in people
are self harm, feelings of guilt, worsening health, unshakeable sadness, interrupted sleep patterns,
distancing one s self from everything, and a lack a hope. The Scarlet Letterby Nathaniel Hawthorne
can be read as a psychological novel in which the characters, Hester Prynneand Arthur
Dimmesdale, have different experiences with depression. First of all, the way depression affects
an individual from The Scarlet Letter is through the events of self harm. Depression is often a
leading cause of self harm. Studies in depression have shown several cases of self harm, most
often caused by the fact that people either enjoy the pain, feel as though they deserve to undergo it,
or they feel as though it is the only way they can control the pain in their lives. These feelings
translate directly into The Scarlet Letter through Dimmesdale. After committing adultery with
Hester, he feels as though his previous actions have taken away all personal value he holds. His

An attacker can lock a user out, preventing them from using the gun, or completely erase the gun s
file system. This would essentially render the scope useless, leaving the shooter to have to aim
manually.
The file system in TrackingPoint s self aiming system is a vital part of the scope. The system
allows a shooter to designate a target, which tells the computer to begin dialing in variables needed
to make an accurate shot. It s important to note that the gun will not fire until the shooter has pulled
the trigger. Once the trigger is pulled, the gun will then determine when the best time to fire is and
take the shot when the barrel is perfectly aligned.
TrackingPoint Are Already Working on an Upcoming Patch to Address the Exploit
Fortunately, Sandvik and Auger are working together with TrackingPoint in order to develop a
software patch that will quickly address the smart rifle s severe vulnerability. While it s not ready

Dendroctonus Ponderosae
In the pacific northwest, there exists an insect the size of an apple seed. It feeds on the phloem of
trees, leaving them mutilated, their bark eviscerated and leaking sawdust. Victims of choice include
lodgepoles, western white pines, and ponderosa, but any gymnosperm will do. For the mountain
pine beetle, Dendroctonus ponderosae, the invasion means reproductive success. For the tree, it
means slow death.
Though the beetle chooses the victim, it is the fungus it carries, Grosmannia clavigera, that delivers
the fatal blow (Safranyik and Carroll 2006). Working in tandem with the insect, the fungus spreads
across the surface of the trunk, dismantling all defenses. So refined is this relationship that the
beetles store the fungus in specialized containers. Sap, which trees use to wash out offending
beetles, crystallizes, forming a pitch cap characteristic of infected trees. Cut off from nutrients, the
host begins to wither away. It can be a slow process, with some trees standing, in limbo, for up to a
decade. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
ponderosae looks much like other members of Coleoptera. Its eggs are deposited in the inner
bark of trees, incubating for an average of two weeks. It undergoes four stages of metamorphosis,
meaning its larval form dissolves into itself and, while still incased, begins to sprout wings, with
the fully developed adult emerging only to mate and feed. Hardened wing plates known as elytra
help distinguish adults from other insects, and an appetite for wood helps distinguish the 600
species of bark beetle from other beetles. Unlike many tree invaders, however, which preferentially

The Evils of Hazing
You have just moved to a new school, and it is the first day. You thought it was a dream to be on
the wrestling team, but in reality it was a nightmare. After practice, you are hog tied and beaten by
your fellow teammates in a ritual known as hazing.
For many years, hazing has existed in high schools throughout America without many people
knowing; more recently, however, laws are being passed against this potentially deadly ritual as
people are becoming educated on the topic. This paper will address what hazing is, how it can be
stopped, and my opinion on why it should be stopped.

finally try to break this cycle? Education is the best thing. The more you are aware that there is
legislation out there and rules against this, the more prepared you will be to prevent yourself
from being in that situation. Find out about your school s policies relating to hazing and who you
can report it to. Find the information to tell you if there are anti hazing laws in your state, in
which case you can inform a law enforcement official (Olson 141). As stated by Elizabeth Allan,
co founder of StopHazing.org, Hazing is a part of our culture. That is why it is so important to
become educated and redefine these behaviors.
Someone who has helped to redefine these behaviors is Eileen Stevens. When her son Chuck died
in a college hazing, she wrote to lawmakers, appeared on television, and told her story to
magazines. She then formed the Committee to Halt Useless College Killings, CHUCK for short.
When her son first died, and CHUCK was first formed, less than eighteen states outlawed hazing.

Essay On The Seven Years War
The Seven Years War marked a huge turning point in American History, as it changed the outlook of
the British, making them branch away from their salutary neglect, and convinced the Americans for
Independence as the British started changing their way of enforcing taxes and laws. The War
changed the people s opinions in both Europe and America. Americans started to despise the
British, while the British started to resent the colonists because they did not help with paying the
war. The changes and similarities that occurred before and after the war led to a more enforced
government, as Salutary Neglect was forgotten, led to resentment towards each other as the British
thought the war debt was left to be paid by the colonists, and became a turning point as colonists
started to struggle against Britain s imperial balance of power in North America and the continuity
of Native Americans fighting for their land.

as though I knew everything there was to know about the disorder, not true; each child is unique
in their own right, everything I could get my hands on, no measure of research could explain or
prepare me for what my daughter was dealing with. In turn, I put the instruction guide away and
learned from my daughter, her feelings, her actions, her triggers, and her frustrations. I wanted to
allow Taylor, my daughter, to teach me her Mother, what she needed from me, no longer what her
diagnosis needed. I will say this, the journey has been long and rough. Various medications, issues
at school, many trips to various Doctors, change of diet, isolation, and even Taylor s declination of

Consider your finances and what you re willing to spend. After deciding on what weekend you ll
be leaving, finding a place to stay is the next thing to plan. Most places fill up early. Make hotel, car
and other reservations as soon as you can. Quality and prices vary with each hotel. Some rates
are as low as $30 a night, while some rates are as high as $200 a night or more. Picking a room
that s not in a scenic area or without a view is usually cheaper. Each hotel offers different rates and
quality. More expensive places offer kitchenettes, suites, fireplaces, heated pools, and more. Search
online for coupon codes, AAA, AARP, Military or Government discounts. For the least expensive

Discipline And Peer Discipline
There are many studies on punishment and discipline. An organization deals with many
individuals as a whole, whether it be a small business or a multi billion corporation Bauman,
Tost, and Ong did a study on how punishment is administered throughout a cooperation based on
rank and type of transgressions they explain that people are less likely to punish a lower level
person if they make the same mistake as a higher level induvial in the company (2016, p 139).
One type of discipline in an organization that happens whether it is a hierocracy or not is peer
discipline it is nearly impossible to avoid. Levine and Modica state The key point is that
regardless of contracts and laws the right to punish exists because other people recognize it as a
right and it is part of a social norm that itself is enforced through peer punishment (2016, p 29).
This can be in the form of ridicule, poking fun, embarrassment or peers pushing for someone s
removal. Levine and Modica quote Senator James Inhofe Army and Marines always feel that when
we re out there, we re not doing it for the flag or the country; we re doing it for the guy in the next

considerable problem in today society is discrimination. Whether it s based upon race, age,
sexuality, or even looks, discrimination is a serious dilemma. Marshal Cohen, a senior industry
analyst with the NPD Group, believes that hiring people who are walking billboards is critical
and essential to a company s success. The companies who hire based on looks, fail to realize that
there are shoppers who do not care about the appearance of the store employees, just as long as
they are receiving good customer service. People cannot completely control their appearance and
brands like Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister, and American Apparel should take notice to that.

It s really important to create an environment that s enticing to the community, particularly with
the younger, fashionable market. Cohen may be right when he says that it is important to create

wrong. It is possible to create an enticing environment with friendly people who don t have
outstanding looks. Today s society has shown that people aspire to be gorgeous and idolize the
beautiful, but they relate more to people who look just like them. If someone were to walk into
Hollister and see someone who looks like them rocking an outfit that they typically wouldn t

Report On Chemical Composition And Structure Of Csh

Report on Chemical composition and Structure of CSH

Introduction:
The C S H gel is the most abundant reaction product in cement, occupying about half of the paste
volume, it is also responsible for most of the properties of cement paste. This is just not because it
is a strong or stable phase but because it forms a continuous layer that binds the cement particles
together.
All the other hydration products of cement form discrete crystals that are naturally strong but do not
have good connections to the solid phases they are in contact with hence cannot contribute much to
the overall strength of the cement paste. C S H gel gets the ability of the to act as a binding phase
from its nanometer level structure.
As C S H gel grows outward from the cement particles, it does not form a single large block or
monolithic solid phase but instead develops a complex internal system of tiny pores, called gel
pores. Gel pores are hundreds or thousands of times smaller than the original capillary pores
which are relatively large. The liquid water present in the gel pores is not part of the solid C S H
phase chemically but it is physically isolated, thus it cannot undergo any further chemical reaction
with the cement.
When hydrated cement paste is observed under microscope at moderate level of magnification,
we could see two apparently different types of C S H gel. One of these gel is less dense and more
porous that appears to occupy

We got on the buses , we knew it was going to be a long rides so the teachers decided to rent us a

started driving again. We had about 2 hours until we got the park .We finally have made it safely to

government gave too much power Essay
Too Much Power
By Elvisa Duderija
The issues involving the Virginia plan gave too much power to the national government have
been a popular topic amongst scholars for many years. The Virginia plan was a proposal by
Virginia delegates for a bicameral legislative branch. The plan was drafted by James Madison while
he waited for a quorum to assemble at the Constitutional Convention of 1787. There are many
factors which influenced the development of the Virginia plan that gave too much power to the
national government. The Virginia plan gave too much power to the national government by all the
plans James Madison formed to create a new form of government plan which are the Executive
Branch, Judicial Branch, and Legislative Branch. I plan ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This quote convinces me that the Judicial Branch created by James Madison was compelling
because the branch included the federal court systems. With the Judicial Branch the Virginia plan
gave a lot of power to the national government because the federal court systems have power when
it is the system of adjudication authorized by the US Constitution and established by Congress.
The last factor that influenced the development plan to give a majority of power to the national
government is the Legislative Branch that James Madison established. The Legislative Branch
would be made up of two congressional houses and representations would be raised on each state
population. A quote that declares that the Legislative Branch established by James Madison gave
too much power to national governments is in the reading A more perfect union when said The
Legislative Branch would be made up of two congressional houses and representation would be
based on each state s population. This quote shows evidence that the Legislative Branch
established by James Madison was very supreme. Since they had people from the congressional
houses on there side obviously the Virginia plan gave a majority of there power to the national
government because of the Legislative Branch established by James Madison.
You can conclude that the Virginia plan gave to much power to the national governments. The
Virginia Plan that was drafted by James Madison at the

The Conflict Theory Of Homelessness
Homelessness is the condition of people without a permanent place to live, such as a house.
People who are homeless are unable to acquire and maintain regular, safe, secure housing. It has
been a problem for a long time but it has become a social issue from the past few decades. People
think about homelessness as one s personal problem and seek them to face it. Moreover, the
majority of the people think that the only reason behind being homelessnessis their choice and just
laziness to do any work and lead to a better life. But that s just one incomplete perception about the
homelessness.
There are many reasons behind the homelessness of the people such as unemployment, poverty,
lack of resources, mental sickness, physically injured, addiction issues and a lot more then these. It
has many effects on the person without a place to stay. The important of all is that their health is
completely comprised as they have been living in unhygienic environment which can lead to a lot
of health issues in the future for them. Homeless individuals are more prone to diseases, such as
cardio respiratory diseases, skin diseases, and tuberculosis. However, people think that
homelessness of a person does not affect them in any way. But that s completely ... Show more

Under Karl Marx s conflict theory, society has two classes of people: the owners and the
workers. The theory suggests that owners basically exploit the workers, depriving them of the
basic human necessities such as food and shelter. Meanwhile, the workers believe that they are
taken care of adequately, and they rely on the owners for their well being. But the owners do not
have the workers best interests in mind because they want to produce wealth by any means. Potent
social forces [capitalism, patriarchy, imperialism, home ownership] do exist and being homeless is
to lose a stake in several of them (Neale, 2007,

The Small Claims Procedure Essay
The Small Claims Procedure
The small claims procedure is regulated by RSA 503 in 1973. It is a simple, speedy, and informal
method by which an individual appears before a judge of the district or municipal court, presents
his or her claim, and explains why another person or business owes money to him or her. Small
Claims Court can award up to $5000 in damages (larger claims can be heard, but the maximum that
can be awarded is $5000).
Although not required in Small Claims Court, any persons or businesses involved in the
proceedings may be represented by a lawyer if they wish. Another aspect of a small claims
proceeding is that a judge may ask to hear any evidence deemed relevant and proper, since ... Show

The system is still largely used by small businesses chasing debtors, rather than by the individual
consumer for whom it was set up. A consultation paper was issued in 1995 suggesting that, in
limited cases; the judge might be given the power to award an additional sum of up to ВЈ135 to
cover the cost of legal advice and assistance in the preparation of the case. I think this idea would
really be useful for claimants, and this would give a huge encouragement to the claimants to come
to the court. Especially for those who cannot actually afford to hire their own lawyer.
Either party may have a lawyer to represent him or her, but this is discouraged by the fact that the
winning party cannot claim back the cost of using a lawyer form the other party, but will have to
pay his own legal expenses. Instead of having a lawyer, the claimant or the defendant may have a
lay representative , that is, a non legally qualified person, with him or her at the hearing to help to
put the case.
The system is meant to be quick, but there can still be delays. Although the intention is that the
case should only go to court once, there may be several hearings because one of the parties is not
ready; for example, they have

Suriname (pronounced Sur i nam) is Authentic cultures, an enchanting nature and unique people
from many different origins. That is what every traveler who visits Suriname will experience with
absolute certainty. The diversity of people from various parts of the world who retained most of
their original customs and habits, mark Surinamewith a cultural blend that is one of its own kind in
the entire world. Suriname is known for its pristine rainforest, exotic plants and animals, wild
rapids, large rivers and stunning mountainous areas in the southern part of the country. Dark creeks

Georgia, including 1,907 km of land, and 386 km of the coastline. Suriname is the smallest country
on the South American continent. It is mostly a tropical rainforest, with a diversity of flora and
fauna, that is increasingly threatened by new developments. Suriname is rich with a lot of natural
resources. The economy is dominated by the mining industry, with exports of oil, gold, and
Aluminium oxide accounting for about 85% of exports and 27% of government revenues, making
the economy highly vulnerable to mineral price volatility. Economic growth has declined annually
from just under 5% in 2012 to 1.5% in 2015. In January 2011, the government devalued the
currency by 20% and raised taxes to reduce the budget deficit. As a result of these measures,
inflation receded to less than 4% in 2015. Suriname s economic prospects for the medium term will
depend on continued commitment to responsible monetary and fiscal policies and to the
introduction of structural reforms to liberalize markets and promote competition. The government s
reliance on revenue from extractive industries will temper Suriname s economic outlook, especially
if gold prices continue their downward

Wireless Ad Hoc Networks
Incorporating Data from Multiple Sensors for Localizing Nodes in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks,
IEEE TRANSACTION ON MOBILE COMPUTING
SUMMARY
Wireless Ad hoc Network are important emerging technology that is low cost, most effective.
Although a large amount of research has been done on mobile Ad hoc Network technology, yet
truly understanding these networks has been low and the implementation of these networks is very
less. This is because in some areas it is difficult to implement wireless networks as it is an
expensive process and implementing new algorithm and new protocols is difficult replacing all the
protocols that are currently used. Although the important fact is that these networks are not used to
its full capacity. Large amount of research is going on the Ad hoc networks and exploit these
networks in far more better way. Ad hoc network technology has many future applications. It can
be used widely used for military application, can be used for UAV s , for detecting of the
chemicals and materials underground. Ad hoc network localization problem can be defined as the
task for finding the estimates the physical location of the nodes know its exact location ( Gergely
V. Zaruba Rui Huang , September 2009, 1 ) . This research paper proposes the solution of the Ad
hoc network localization problem and proposes different algorithm that can provide better
localization accuracy and higher localization coverage. The paper revolves around the results

The Child Called It By Dave Pelzer
The child called it by Dave Pelzer. The time and place the book took place was March 5, 1973, in
Daly City, California. Dave Pelzer was a boy who was abused by his own mother. He was the boy
who was called It in his family house. His Mother would make him eat and drink things that you
couldn t even imagine a motherwould do. She treated her son as her slave. David wasn t allowed
to shower or even wear clean clothes. His mother wouldn t feed him until the third day. David
would always go to school with bruises and scratches. His father, on the other hand, would try to do
something but he failed each time he tries to convince David s mother to change her mind.
In the story, The Child Called It has many themes but the theme that stood throughout the story was;
no matter how bad things get and no matter how bad you just what it to stop. Always push yourself
and never let the person that hurt you bring you down. For example, in the story, david said, that he
pushed himself because he couldn t let his mother win even though he wanted to just die someday
because of all the torture and hell his mother put him through. He didn t let that stop from keep

Stereotypes Of Media Bias
Media Bias Turn on CNN or Fox and Bias pounds you over the head. They each have their own
talking heads or political correspondents to decry their expert opinions . Since the advent of the
24 hour news cycle back during the Gulf War, when CNN was launched, the news junkie was
born. News became less of a journalistic report of the facts about what was happening in the
world and more about infotainment, it became more biased when Fox news came along and all
of the other stations. Media has always been slightly biased according to the owner or publisher
of the journal or the media source. The target audience of Fox news is a very conservative
group, the aim is to entice them to be infuriated by the opinion of the host and guest.
Occasionally a bit of truth is broadcast.. The exact same can be said for the audience of Mother
Jones, MSNBC, and other forms of media. The headline grabbing story I have chosen is very
important as it is a matter of National Security. Who would be affected by this story you may
ask, Everyone who lives in America. Why you ask ? Because if a Foreign Nation dictates who is
elected, in effect that foreign nation has sway over our policies. They are practically running our
country. Who believes what they see on the news or... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

  • 2. My Personal Worldview Paper My personal worldview explains the way I view and live life through the assumptions and beliefs I hold in response to the world around me. I believe I was created for a specific reason and purpose. What do I believe to be true? I believe that God exists and that he is the creator of everything that exists. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God, John 1:1 (NIV). This is biblical proof that God exists. The verse that explains that God has always existed is, Revelation 22:13, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End (NIV). God has been alive forever, since before my start and before the start of everything I know. God is the originator of creation itself.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I must find my calling if I am to truly live my life to the fullest and to live out God s plan for my life. God is the only one who can help me find my purpose. He has had a plan for my life long before I was even born and that God has a purpose for me that no one else could fulfill. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV). This means that no matter what I do as long as I am in accordance with God s will, everything will turn out for the best in the end. God has promised to give me hope and a future and to bless my life. For we are God s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do, Ephesians 2:10 (NIV). With this knowledge I know that God has created me exactly the way I should be and that he has given me talents and skills enough to do all he asks of me to do. I was created in God s image, created with God s character of love, mercy, grace and righteousness. According to AllAboutWorldviews.com, Christians believe God has revealed Himself to people in a general way through creation and in a special (personal) way evidenced by His divine words and acts contained in the Bible and especially in the person of Jesus Christ (2002, p.1). Through the Bible I can see specific evidence of what God s character looks like, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Economic Systems And Economic System An economic system governs how a society s resources are allocated between people, and so the question of its morality is immensely important (Winfield, et al, 2014). This essay will analyse the different economic systems by considering the two economic systems that fall on the extreme ends of the spectrum of economic systems, these being capitalismand socialism. It will further discuss the characteristics of each of these economic systems and based on these, argue that the mixed economy is the best alternative economic system. The forms of regulations that create efficiencies and those that create inefficiencies will be argued for and the importance and benefits of these regulations will be analysed. . A capitalist economic system is one that is predominantly characterised by free markets, private ownership and limited government intervention. Free markets are commonly known for their ability to achieve economic efficiency primarily through the volunteer nature of exchange and the existence of competition amongst producers (Winfield, et al, 2014). Adam Smith believed that the goal of every economic system should be to achieve economic efficiency through the mechanisms of productive and allocative efficiency. Productive efficiency can be defined as producing goods and services for the lowest cost while allocative efficiency is more concerned with the distribution and allocation of resources in the economy to where they are valued most and can attain maximum satisfaction for ... • 4. Sell Your Son Samuel Analysis Rees, you have demonstrated your love for and faith in God consistently over many years, time and time again. You gave up the privilege of raising your son Samuel for the greater honor of serving God in Africa, and your intercessions played a part in molding the events of World War II. Do not give up. Keep pressing in to find and follow Gods will for your life, because He has proven Himself faithful. When you prayed for God to raise up a Bible college to train the young Christians of Wales, He provided the funds for you to purchase the Glynderwen property and start the college yourself. Later, He also supplied the means to buy the Derwen Fawr and Sketty Isaf properties, which served as an addition to the college and a home for missionaries children, respectively.... He will use your gift to remind them of His faithfulness and goodness towards them. Justice cries out on behalf of the Jews, and in giving your gift, you will help administer justice to this persecuted people. The third reason that you should sell your properties is that this call is God s answer. You were praying for the money to help the Jews, and you asked God to give you their burdens. Again, the golden rule of faith reminds you that God may choose to use you as an answer to your own prayers. You must be willing to sacrifice of yourself and trust God, even as Abraham did when he laid Isaac on the altar to sacrifice him. Some argue that you should not sell your properties because the money for your gift could be provided another way. You had prayed for the money, and you believed it would come. They say that maybe the money could come another way, and you would not have to sell the properties. Nevertheless, God has already revealed to you the way He has chosen to provide for the Jews, and there is no use arguing with ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Oversexualization And Objectification Of Women The Oversexualization and Objectification of Women On all platforms of media, women and even young girls are oversexualized; thus leading to men viewing women as no more than breasts, vaginas, legs, or any other body part they prefer. Even in current television shows, movies, comic books, and advertisements, women are still depicted as sexual objects, which can damage a woman s confidence. The oversexualization of women s bodies can degrade a young woman s confidence, and when girls try to boost confidence by dressing or acting like the women they see in the media, they are reprimanded for it. Girls cannot be blamed for their sexualization; they are just emulating what they see in the media. On television and in movies, women are often portrayed as the love interest for the main male character or the succubus that tries to gain the main character s love through temptation. Most the women depicted in the romances are white, thin, and busty. Often the attractive female lead has a best friend who is deemed overweight and never receives any romantic interactions. The only goal the female character has is to gain the attention of the main character. Air Quality Airshed monitoring Methods used for monitoring air sheds: According to the Ministry for the Environment (2014), airshed is improved levels of air quality. A filter dynamic measurement system (FDMS) is used to measure PM10. PM10 is an atmospheric particulate matter less than or equal to 10 micrometres (Вµm) in diameter. The TEOM is a proprietary system that determines particulate concentration by continuously weighing particles deposited on a filter (Aberkane, et al., 2010, p. 4). The Ministry for the environment recommends the amount of volatile of material depends on the composition of aerosol and temperature setting of the TEOM. Proverbs 22:6 New King James Version (NKJV) In America today the rise of violence that is being committed by children is growing daily. The pressure that is placed upon a parent to raise children in a certain demeanor has fallen to the waste side, and every man, woman, and child is for themselves. Outside influences play a major role in the upbringing and rearing of children no matter what age and time they were brought up in. Men, in a word, must necessarily be controlled either by a power within them or by a power without them; either by the Word of God or by the strong arm of man; either by the Bible or by the bayonet. Robert Winthrop, Speaker of the U. S. House According to Webster s Dictionary, influence is defined as the capacity to have an effect on the character, development, or behavior of someone or something, or the effect itself. Meaning you become what you see the most and you develop the language of what you hear the most. There are many influences that impact the way children perceive life and themselves, from TV, imitation of others (peer pressure), drugs, anger, mental disorders, and lack of parental guidance, just to name a few. Children today are looking to themselves and other things outside of the home to guide them or encourage them to be who they feel they are. Persuasive Essay On Guns In 2001, 12,102 murders were caused by gun violence, 17,424 suicides from guns, 366 people died to accidents involving guns, 316 deaths by guns had unknown reasons, and only 154 were confirmed to be in self defense. 30,708 deaths from guns in total, and only 154 out of 30,708 deaths were self defense. Those statistics are alarming. Guns are not being used with the intent to defend yourself. Guns are being used in today s society for celebration, murders, for sport and gang activity. Guns are used for war, by the police force and on drill teams. Guns should not be used in such instances where citizens can harm and even kill others . They should only be utilized to protect their loved ones, themselves and their valuables, not used as tools of murder, suicide and gang activity. The Gun Owners Foundation says that guns save more lives than they take and prevent more injuries than they inflict. This is not true at all, however. The usage of guns for self defense to not self defense ratio is 1:24. For every time a gun is used in self defense, there are 24 shootings that are not. Also, the country is deprived of 180 billion dollars per year due to gun violence. A good chunk of this money comes from taxpayers. So much so, for instance, that First Lady Michelle Obama has announced an initiative fighting obesity. She, too, is calling obesity an epidemic and one of the greatest threats to the future healthof the United States. Her approach is multifaceted, concentrating on education, availability of healthy foods, and exercise programs for youth so that children become habituated into healthier eating and exercise regimes (Hellmich, 2010). Unfortunately, the United States in 2012 is not a healthy country, and has not been for some time. Studies from a number of private and public research areas tell us that the alarming trend toward obesity has put the nation at risk, costing over $135 billion per annum on the low end of estimates. Indeed, it is alarming to note that the trend toward obesity has exponentially risen in every single region of the United States since 1991, as reported by the Get America Fit Foundation (Obesity Related Statistics in America, 2008). Besides being a recognized pandemic, the issue of obesity affects millions in terms of quality of life (diabetes, heart disease, osteo issues, renal failure, and even psychological depression). It will take over every thought, control one s very being until they truly believe they are hopeless, broken, and undeserving of even the most basic comforts. It will drain the very soul until there is no spirit left in a person. Everyone will experience it at least once in their lifetime, whether it s from a close family death or a disfiguration of the mind. It does not discriminate race, gender, religion or profession; it is depression. The symptoms of depression often seen in people are self harm, feelings of guilt, worsening health, unshakeable sadness, interrupted sleep patterns, distancing one s self from everything, and a lack a hope. The Scarlet Letterby Nathaniel Hawthorne can be read as a psychological novel in which the characters, Hester Prynneand Arthur Dimmesdale, have different experiences with depression. First of all, the way depression affects an individual from The Scarlet Letter is through the events of self harm. Depression is often a leading cause of self harm. Studies in depression have shown several cases of self harm, most often caused by the fact that people either enjoy the pain, feel as though they deserve to undergo it, or they feel as though it is the only way they can control the pain in their lives. It feeds on the phloem of trees, leaving them mutilated, their bark eviscerated and leaking sawdust. Victims of choice include lodgepoles, western white pines, and ponderosa, but any gymnosperm will do. For the mountain pine beetle, Dendroctonus ponderosae, the invasion means reproductive success. For the tree, it means slow death. Though the beetle chooses the victim, it is the fungus it carries, Grosmannia clavigera, that delivers the fatal blow (Safranyik and Carroll 2006). Working in tandem with the insect, the fungus spreads across the surface of the trunk, dismantling all defenses. So refined is this relationship that the beetles store the fungus in specialized containers. Sap, which trees use to wash out offending beetles, crystallizes, forming a pitch cap characteristic of infected trees. Cut off from nutrients, the host begins to wither away. This is just not because it is a strong or stable phase but because it forms a continuous layer that binds the cement particles together. All the other hydration products of cement form discrete crystals that are naturally strong but do not have good connections to the solid phases they are in contact with hence cannot contribute much to the overall strength of the cement paste. C S H gel gets the ability of the to act as a binding phase from its nanometer level structure. As C S H gel grows outward from the cement particles, it does not form a single large block or monolithic solid phase but instead develops a complex internal system of tiny pores, called gel pores. Gel pores are hundreds or thousands of times smaller than the original capillary pores which are relatively large. The liquid water present in the gel pores is not part of the solid C S H phase chemically but it is physically isolated, thus it cannot undergo any further chemical reaction with the cement. When hydrated cement paste is observed under microscope at moderate level of magnification, we could see two apparently different types of C S H gel. One of these gel is less dense and more porous that appears to occupy ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 43. government gave too much power Essay Too Much Power By Elvisa Duderija The issues involving the Virginia plan gave too much power to the national government have been a popular topic amongst scholars for many years. The Virginia plan was a proposal by Virginia delegates for a bicameral legislative branch. The plan was drafted by James Madison while he waited for a quorum to assemble at the Constitutional Convention of 1787. There are many factors which influenced the development of the Virginia plan that gave too much power to the national government. The Virginia plan gave too much power to the national government by all the plans James Madison formed to create a new form of government plan which are the Executive Branch, Judicial Branch, and Legislative Branch. I plan ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This quote convinces me that the Judicial Branch created by James Madison was compelling because the branch included the federal court systems. With the Judicial Branch the Virginia plan gave a lot of power to the national government because the federal court systems have power when it is the system of adjudication authorized by the US Constitution and established by Congress. The last factor that influenced the development plan to give a majority of power to the national government is the Legislative Branch that James Madison established. The Legislative Branch would be made up of two congressional houses and representations would be raised on each state population. A quote that declares that the Legislative Branch established by James Madison gave too much power to national governments is in the reading A more perfect union when said The Legislative Branch would be made up of two congressional houses and representation would be based on each state s population. This quote shows evidence that the Legislative Branch established by James Madison was very supreme. Since they had people from the congressional houses on there side obviously the Virginia plan gave a majority of there power to the national government because of the Legislative Branch established by James Madison. You can conclude that the Virginia plan gave to much power to the national governments. The Virginia Plan that was drafted by James Madison at the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 44. The Conflict Theory Of Homelessness Homelessness is the condition of people without a permanent place to live, such as a house. People who are homeless are unable to acquire and maintain regular, safe, secure housing. It has been a problem for a long time but it has become a social issue from the past few decades. People think about homelessness as one s personal problem and seek them to face it. Moreover, the majority of the people think that the only reason behind being homelessnessis their choice and just laziness to do any work and lead to a better life. But that s just one incomplete perception about the homelessness. There are many reasons behind the homelessness of the people such as unemployment, poverty, lack of resources, mental sickness, physically injured, addiction issues and a lot more then these. It has many effects on the person without a place to stay. The important of all is that their health is completely comprised as they have been living in unhygienic environment which can lead to a lot of health issues in the future for them. Homeless individuals are more prone to diseases, such as cardio respiratory diseases, skin diseases, and tuberculosis. However, people think that homelessness of a person does not affect them in any way. But that s completely ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Under Karl Marx s conflict theory, society has two classes of people: the owners and the workers. The theory suggests that owners basically exploit the workers, depriving them of the basic human necessities such as food and shelter. Meanwhile, the workers believe that they are taken care of adequately, and they rely on the owners for their well being. But the owners do not have the workers best interests in mind because they want to produce wealth by any means. • 45. The Small Claims Procedure Essay The Small Claims Procedure The small claims procedure is regulated by RSA 503 in 1973. It is a simple, speedy, and informal method by which an individual appears before a judge of the district or municipal court, presents his or her claim, and explains why another person or business owes money to him or her. Small Claims Court can award up to $5000 in damages (larger claims can be heard, but the maximum that can be awarded is $5000). Although not required in Small Claims Court, any persons or businesses involved in the proceedings may be represented by a lawyer if they wish. Another aspect of a small claims proceeding is that a judge may ask to hear any evidence deemed relevant and proper, since ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The system is still largely used by small businesses chasing debtors, rather than by the individual consumer for whom it was set up. A consultation paper was issued in 1995 suggesting that, in limited cases; the judge might be given the power to award an additional sum of up to ВЈ135 to cover the cost of legal advice and assistance in the preparation of the case. I think this idea would really be useful for claimants, and this would give a huge encouragement to the claimants to come to the court. Especially for those who cannot actually afford to hire their own lawyer. Either party may have a lawyer to represent him or her, but this is discouraged by the fact that the winning party cannot claim back the cost of using a lawyer form the other party, but will have to pay his own legal expenses. Instead of having a lawyer, the claimant or the defendant may have a lay representative , that is, a non legally qualified person, with him or her at the hearing to help to put the case. The system is meant to be quick, but there can still be delays. Although the intention is that the case should only go to court once, there may be several hearings because one of the parties is not ready; for example, they have ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The economy is dominated by the mining industry, with exports of oil, gold, and Aluminium oxide accounting for about 85% of exports and 27% of government revenues, making the economy highly vulnerable to mineral price volatility. Economic growth has declined annually from just under 5% in 2012 to 1.5% in 2015. In January 2011, the government devalued the currency by 20% and raised taxes to reduce the budget deficit. As a result of these measures, inflation receded to less than 4% in 2015. • 47. Wireless Ad Hoc Networks Incorporating Data from Multiple Sensors for Localizing Nodes in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks, IEEE TRANSACTION ON MOBILE COMPUTING SUMMARY Wireless Ad hoc Network are important emerging technology that is low cost, most effective. Although a large amount of research has been done on mobile Ad hoc Network technology, yet truly understanding these networks has been low and the implementation of these networks is very less. This is because in some areas it is difficult to implement wireless networks as it is an expensive process and implementing new algorithm and new protocols is difficult replacing all the protocols that are currently used. Although the important fact is that these networks are not used to its full capacity. Large amount of research is going on the Ad hoc networks and exploit these networks in far more better way. Ad hoc network technology has many future applications. It can be used widely used for military application, can be used for UAV s , for detecting of the chemicals and materials underground. Ad hoc network localization problem can be defined as the task for finding the estimates the physical location of the nodes know its exact location ( Gergely V. Zaruba Rui Huang , September 2009, 1 ) . This research paper proposes the solution of the Ad hoc network localization problem and proposes different algorithm that can provide better localization accuracy and higher localization coverage. Dave Pelzer was a boy who was abused by his own mother. He was the boy who was called It in his family house. His Mother would make him eat and drink things that you couldn t even imagine a motherwould do. She treated her son as her slave. David wasn t allowed to shower or even wear clean clothes. His mother wouldn t feed him until the third day. David would always go to school with bruises and scratches. His father, on the other hand, would try to do something but he failed each time he tries to convince David s mother to change her mind. In the story, The Child Called It has many themes but the theme that stood throughout the story was; no matter how bad things get and no matter how bad you just what it to stop. Always push yourself and never let the person that hurt you bring you down. • 49. Stereotypes Of Media Bias Media Bias Turn on CNN or Fox and Bias pounds you over the head. They each have their own talking heads or political correspondents to decry their expert opinions . Since the advent of the 24 hour news cycle back during the Gulf War, when CNN was launched, the news junkie was born. News became less of a journalistic report of the facts about what was happening in the world and more about infotainment, it became more biased when Fox news came along and all of the other stations. Media has always been slightly biased according to the owner or publisher of the journal or the media source. The target audience of Fox news is a very conservative group, the aim is to entice them to be infuriated by the opinion of the host and guest. Occasionally a bit of truth is broadcast.. The exact same can be said for the audience of Mother Jones, MSNBC, and other forms of media. The headline grabbing story I have chosen is very important as it is a matter of National Security.
