Enthroned Madrandonna And Child With Saints Summary
Piero della Francesca s art has always been intriguing to the eyes of the lookers, analysers, every art
pieces containing lots of symbolism and meanings. The Altarpiece Madonna and child with Saints
adored by Frederico da Montefeltro was one of the work. Piero della Francesca was born in 1412 and
was involved in the Early Renaissance movement. His style involved the use of humanism, geometric
forms and use of perspective to create art. From what I saw in the piece Enthroned Madonna and
Child with Saints, the first thing I saw was a group of people surrounding a woman with a baby. The
atmosphere of the piece seems to be solemn and grief even though the painting was painted in bright
colours. It was the facial expressions of the people that depict that it may not be a joyous event. The
knight was at the forefront of the painting and almost seems to be bigger than anyone else, it may
suggest that he s important in the piece. Piero also used linear perspective in the altarpiece, creating a
sense of depth and the vanishing point at around Mary s eyes. With the use of geometry, Piero
managed to create the background architecture with such clarity which a lot of artists at that time
couldn t achieve. Into further observation, instead of thinking that the baby was bleeding, he was
wearing a red necklace. The red colour can be represented as blood pouring out of the baby, a symbol
of life and death. From the way the baby was positioned, it may be assumed that the baby is either

Patrick Lencioni s Three Signs Of A Miserable Job
THREE SIGNS OF A MISERABLE JOB DISCUSSION QUESTIONS 1. Is a miserable job different
than a bad job? If so, in what ways? A miserable job is not the same as a bad job. According to Patrick
Lencioni, what is considered a bad job varies from person to person. Lencioni states, Some people
consider a job bad because it is physically demanding or exhausting, involving long hours in the hot
sun. Others see it as one that doesn t pay well. Still others call a job bad because it requires a long
commute or a great deal of time sitting behind a desk. It really depends on who you are and what you
value and enjoy. A miserable job differs from a bad job because instead of disliking parts of your job
you job is physically and emotionally draining you. Lencioni states that, [A miserable job is] the one
you dread going to and can t wait to leave. It s the one that saps your energy even when you re not

how do you know this? What about in your classes this semester? What did Brian do in Three Signs of

specific examples. I did not understand how my performance was being measured and assessed at my
job. I would assume that I am performing well well I did not get feedback from my mangers saying
others wise. At my job no feedback was good feedback. My classes are another story. This semester,
all but one of my classes post grades regularly so I know exactly how I am performing and what I
need to change or keep doing in each class to remain successful. In Three Signs of a Miserable Job,
Brian asked his employee Carl to ask him self what measurement should be used to determine if Carl

Miss Havisham In Charles Dickens Great Expectations
The expectations for Estella to be the embodiment of Miss Havisham s revenge were too harsh for her
to meet. Through her childhood, her methods of achieving her goals and her fall from grace, Estella
fails to meet the standard she was raised to meet. Estella had to deal with the formations of her
expectations in her childhood. If she wasn t climbing the ranks of society, she was dropping the spirits
of everyone around her. To start her story, you must understand who she came from and how she was
given these expectations. Her parents were common in laws and they ended up losing her after her
mother was charged for murder, and Estella was taken away. She was then adopted by Miss
Havisham, an older woman with crazed tendencies. As Miss Havisham once said, My dear! Believe

Estella went from being a young child who cared to a beautiful young woman with a stone and ice

As soon as she started to find her way, navigating these strange waters, Estella was introduced to Pip,
a boy Miss Havisham and Estella played with from time to time for years. The moment she didn t

The Message of Gwendolyn Brooks We Real Cool
The Message of Gwendolyn Brooks We Real Cool
We Real Cool is a short, yet powerful poem by Gwendolyn Brooks that sends a life learning message
to its reader. The message Brooks is trying to send is that dropping out of school and roaming the
streets is in fact not cool but in actuality a dead end street.
Brooks conveys her message in an ironic manner, which is presented in the title of the poem. Before
actually reading the 10 line poem the first thing that grabs the reader s attention is the title. After
reading the title We Real Cool one would assume that the intent of the poem is going to be about a
group of people who are fortunate and live a flamboyant lifestyle. This is not the case for the seven
players in Brooks s ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The language used coincides with the player s lack of education. This is evident in the poem when we
are told they left school. We later learn that instead of attending school the players go to a pool hall.
The name of the pool hall, Golden Shovel contributes to the theme of the poem. The golden shovel
has a deeper meaning and serves as a symbol. The so called Golden lifestyle of the players will
eventually cost them their lives. In return they will eventually be [ shoveled ] in their grave. Several of
the lines in Brooks s poem begin with words that start with the same consonant letter; this is an
example of alliteration. The [l] sound in lurk late, the [str] sound in strike straight, and the [j] sound in
jazz June. The alliteration used allows the poem to flow smoothly.
Brooks makes great use of rhyme throughout the poem. She uses words such as cool , school , sin ,
and gin. These are external rhymes which appear at the end of lines. The rhyme scheme used
compliments the theme, since it is the directed towards a young audience. The reason we know that
Brooks is trying to attract a young crowd is because she is talking about youth who are suppose to be
attending school. The poem is given an up tempo beat, almost like a rap. This rap like sound may also
help attract young readers.
This poem describes the lifestyle of young rebels. They are cool having left school , and die soon. The

The Medieval Period Of The Middle Ages
During the Middle ages countless disputes over power occur. From corrupted government officials, to
establishing a proper structure for Roman Catholicism. However, one can argue whether it s good or
bad intentions with great powers comes great responsibility. The Medieval period began from the 5th
century when the Western Roman Empire collapsed, to 15th century. During the Medieval Period the
Roman Church was the dominated church. The church controlled religion, philosophy, morals,
politics, art and education. In addition, many practices from the Middle Ages laid the foundations to
today s modern world. Charles the Greats of the franks, also known as Charlemagne was a Medieval
Emperor during 800. Ruling majority of Europe by spreading the outbreak of religion and culture.
Charles the Great was a man of knowledge, as he was fluent in Latin, he studied Greek and liberal
arts, giving him personality as a scholar. Unlike his predecessor Charlemagne supported education,
one of his goals was to provide an educated clergy. The educated clergy was usually a group of
religious servants, performing administrative duties for the government. Furthermore, to continue
Greco Roman cultural legacy he made Christianity the domain religion in regions of Western Europe.
However, Charles the Great was challenged as Emperor of the Romans because Emperor of the
Romans rightfully belongs to Carolingian family. Yet in the act into reviving the Roman Empire, Pope

When I was 12 I dreamed of becoming the world s best doctor, me Dr. Warren Price, the one man who

backtrack a little to let everything soak in. Back in 2010 I became the main doctor at a small hospital

The Influence Of Fashion In The 1800 s
Listen to the fairytales people were told as kids. People lived like that during the 1800 s. In the
Victorian Era the literature and the fashion have sculpted some of the most elegant dresses and fairy
tales that the world has today. Most clothes the world has today has been influenced by the Victorian
times. Wedding dresses, party dresses such as prom dresses and homecoming dresses, all these styles
or clothing were influenced somehow by this era.
People say that undergarments are so uncomfortable but people have no idea how much better
undergarments are for women now. Women underwear came all the way down to their knees with tiny
embellishments at the leg openings (Victorian Web). These undergarment usually are a flesh pink
color or cream colors (Victorian Web). Women during this time had to be constantly uncomfortable
with all the different undergarments that they had to wear.
Victorian dress are big and beautiful and very in your face. In the 1850 s the neckline on dresses were
very open (Victorian Web). The dresses had so many different colors but most of them were dull
colors. The only things women wore during that time were dresses. During the day women covered up
more than the evening (Victorian Web). One of the major fashions in the 1800s was the hoop skirt
(Victorian Fashion). Jacket style dresses ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Cycle Failure In James Joyce s Dubliners
Passing Down Failure Imagine living in a country that is stuck in the cycle failure and every
generation has no way out of it. In James Joyce s collection of short stories, Dubliners, Joyce
illustrates how the people of Dublin will never find success as each generation is oppressing the next.
Joyce uses individual short stories to show how characters of different lifestyles all face the same
struggles and warns how the cycle will continue on to the next generation. The use of short stories
gives the reader a look into the people of Dublin from multiple views which makes it clear how
Dublin is bound for failure as the cycle of failure is passed down without knowing it among families.
The cycle of life in Dublin begins with children, children face destended success the most, however
they have multiple generations above them who mimic their future failure. In the story A little Cloud ,
Little Chandler takes out his failure in life on his son. Chandler can not handle his struggles especially
those at home. Candler was a prisoner for life. (...) suddenly bending to the child s face he shouted:
Stop (Joyce 82). Little Chandler s life and success is halted by his child. His baby boy represents fresh
life in Dublin as the next generation starts to develop. Children in Dublin, especially Little Chandler s,
face responsibility for failing their parents generation as they there stop potential success. The cycle of
life is broken in Dublin as Little Chandler shouts at his son to

The Antamina mine, was the underlying asset of this bidding process which included 40 bidders;
though that number was steadily dwindling, and by June of 1996 was down to only a handful serious
contenders. Within the copper mining industry, there were three dominant players, RTZ CRA,
Noranda, and a joint venture of Inmet Mining and Rio Algom. These three were believed to be the
primary bidders. All three had ancillary mineral mining practices aside from copper, as well as other
areas of business. RTZ CRA was the largest of these three, and was believed to be the best positioned
to prevail on the bidding. The other bidders were smaller in capital but had the same level of mining
experience. The joint venture of Rio Algom and Inmet had only $1.5 billion combined market
capitalization, but Inmet had a healthier capital structure and less financial risk which created a lower
cost of capital. The bidding rules reduced the sensitivity of capital and created comparative advantages
for smaller players. For RTZ CRA to execute on their bid and acquire Antamina at a strategically
economic price, they would have to have made the decision of whether this property would provide
long term economic and strategic value. Since their footprint was global, they would be unable to
introduce certain synergies based on asset proximity of their other properties. Antamina would most
likely have to be acquired and operated as a stand alone project. Internal

Gangster Movies
Gangster movies have been successful for many years, these movies depict the real life experiences of
gang members. Furthermore, these movies also portray the views that the gang members have on
females. Gwendolyn D. Pough, the author of What It Do, Shorty, stated perfectly the minimal number
of roles available for them in hood related movies. Ms. Pough wrote However, what does come across
clearly as one reads the Steffans s memoir and Bryan s tell all are the ways in which some women
have chosen to buy into the sexism and misogyny that limits the roles that women can play in hip hop
culture (Pough. pg. 83). Based on the quote, woman in hood related movies are often portrayed as sex
object, who are only useful to the man by supporting his needs, the only females who are not viewed
so negatively are the mothers of the gang members. Although, there are female characters pushing
back this stigma of women in the hood, who are tacking roles of female empowerment. Sadly, these
roles are not abundant in the film industry.
Movies that portray the hood life are very accurate, these films depict the life of both man and woman
in the streets of South L.A. or Chicago and even New York. In these films, the male is shown as an
aggressive dope dealer, who only cares about money and sex, on the other hand, the female characters
are shown as depends of their male partners, who must obey what the man says. Also, these women
are referred as hoes and bitches and are treated with no respect.

Thematic Patterns In Hamlet
Thematic Patterns
(An Analysis of the Themes in Shakespeare s Hamlet Acts 1, 2, and 3) More often than not, excellent
authors incorporate subtle themes into their story lines. These themes can seems nonexistent towards
the beginning of a plot, but after careful study and examination of the literature, a reader can find that
there are in fact many main themes that are being revisited throughout the work. These themes usually
have multiple meanings and can add essential details to deepen the meaning of the plot in its entirety.
As a system in the textual metafunction of language, the Theme/Rheme options play a significant role

Ontology, says tradition, is the science of being as such (Inwagen). In other words, ontology is the
study of one s being, or who or what you are. Bernardo boldly questions Francisco by saying, Who s
there? (Shakespeare). Francisco rebukes him by exclaiming, Nay, answer me. Stand and unfold
yourself. (Shakespeare). With these first two lines of the entire play, the reader can already infer that
this is going to be about identification. Who people say they are versus who they actually are is a
monumental argument in this drama. Claudius, the new king of Denmark, cleverly lies to everyone
about his true being: a murderer. Another example is Hamlet. Hamlet acts as if he is going insane for a
majority of the play. However, he is very much in control of his wits and is just pretending to be crazy
in order to get what he wants. Event unfold as the play progresses and people continue to lie and
deceive others with false information about themselves. Ontology is a key factor in the set up of
events that

Transcendentalism, An American Philosophy
American philosophers during the early to mid 1800s embraced a new liberal movement known as
transcendentalism that posed a silent threat to the current social and political institutions of the time
period. Henry David Thoreau acted as the father of this new philosophy that would go on to transform
the social structure of America into what it is and is still becoming today. Transcendentalism is an
American philosophy that humankind has an innate sense of being and knowledge of the world around
them that extends beyond the tangible, physical realm that can simply be seen, heard, tasted, touched,
or felt. This idea disregards logic and reason, focusing almost entirely on intuition and imagination.
Therefore, according to 26f. Transcendentalism, An American Philosophy, a transcendentalist is a
person who accepts these ideas not as religious beliefs but as a way of understanding life relationships.
They drew the basis of their belief system from a periodical called, The Dial, which was written by a
radical feminist who pushed male and female equality in nearly all of her publications.
Transcendentalism remained entrenched in its study and discussion until Henry David Thoreau tried to
physically put it into practice ( 26f ). Henry David Thoreau was a strange, gentle, fanatic, selfish,
[dreaming], [stubborn individualist], as well as a Harvard graduate at the top of his class ( 26f.

Coretta Scott King On Capital Punishment
Death penalty or capital punishment is a legal procedure carried out by the government of a state
which sentences a convicted person to death. Capital punishment has been a matter of controversy for
various decades now. According to some people, such as the Swiss President Burkhalter (2014) death
penalty is a valid act of justice whereas, Coretta Scott King opposes such practices. The main purpose
of this argumentative synthesis essay is to point out the differences and similarities between the two
articles, namely The Death Penalty is a step back by Coretta Scott King (1969) and The Penalty of
Death by H.L.Mencken (1926), and to also the validity of the arguments provided.
Both Mencken and King provide their own opinions on the issue of death penalty; whether it is an
ethical practice or not. As the title suggests, Coretta Scott King expresses her feelings about capital
punishment and states reasons to back her belief that the death penalty is both a racist and immoral
practice. Whereas, Mencken satirically criticizes the typical ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

For example, when he mentions that all of us, despite... unexpected death (p.127), he is assuming that
everyone wants a sudden death, and that they use capital punishment as a means to take revenge,
which might not be true. Both King and Mencken commit hasty generalization by believing that the
law is at fault when it comes to dealing with the matter of capital punishment. King believes that the
American government is biased and racist against black Americans, self appointing attorneys that
result in hasty trials. Mencken is of a similar opinion as well, believing that lawyers prolong the
duration of a trial out of greed, just to fill their own pockets with money. Mencken s hasty
generalization is also present here, That hanging a man... to witness it , as no hangman complains of
his job. King and Mencken s acts of hasty generalization make their text lack validity and

Primordial-Up Hypothesis Research Paper
The primordial soup hypothesis is a hypothesis that was identified by a Russian chemist named Oparin
and an English genetics, Haldin in the year 1920. The hypothesis explains that life began in a pond or
an ocean from a combination of chemicals from the atmosphere. The two scientists thought that that
the basic building blocks of life came from a simple molecule that was formed in the atmosphere.
Evidence that they used to create this hypothesis was that they observed a molecule that was energized
by lightning and rain from the atmosphere that created organic soup. The reason why they had to

The Selection System Of A Multiphasic Hurdle Approach Essay
In the selection system, a multiphasic hurdle approach will be used, meaning that individuals must
meet minimal standards from the current stage before being moved on to the next. As mentioned
previously, the initial assessment will involve having applicants fill out an application blank. This
application will then be scored according to our minimal standards, ensuring that applicants meet the
minimum age requirement and that they are authorized to work in the United States. Therefore, the
process will essentially require those two things, and the rest of the applicants will be passed along to
the next stage. As a result of the requirements, we do not expect this assessment to have an adverse
impact. Candidate reactions will likely be at least moderately positive, as it will involve little effort on
their part, and will provide necessary information to move forward in the employment process.
However, these applications may take significant amounts of time to process, so we will be using an
online application that will allow us to receive our data and easily sort out those who do not meet
minimum requirements, saving time and money. Work experience will be scored, but not used to
determine whether or not applicants make it over the first hurdle. This information will only be used
in the final decision. Work experience will be placed in three distinct categories: no relevant
experience, minimal relevant experience (0 3 months), and substantial relevant experience (3 months

The Blazing World as Feminist Manifesto Essay
Margaret Cavendish truly had faith in the female spirit, and she felt that women were never given the
credit they deserved. Cavendish wholeheartedly believed that women could comprehend philosophy
and politics as well as men, and that they should be allowed to study these subjects freely. In addition,
she called for the independence of women from masculine restrictions. Because of this, feminism
abounded in her thoughts and works. In The Blazing World, Margaret Cavendish shows that women
are capable of ruling a world effectively when power is given to them. She also shows that women are
capable of excelling in a created world within their minds, free of limitations set by men.

In spite of it all, Cavendish published her thoughts. She even used that eccentricity to her advantage
by transforming it into a virtue; by doing so she carved out her own niche (Hutton 220). She allowed
others to know that she was unusual in order to gain positive attention.
Cavendish was very verbal about the limited opportunities for women as well as the negative attitudes
women faced when they set out to broaden their horizons (Hutton 222). She most likely faced these
things herself when she set out as a female philosopher. She was disgusted with the fact that schools of
higher learning were for men only, and she blamed this for keeping her gender down. It was
the reason all women are fools; for women breeding up women, one fool breeding up another, and as
long as that custom lasts there is no hopes of amendment, and ancient customs being a second nature,
makes folly hereditary in that Sex, by reason their education is effeminate, and their times spent in
pins, points and laces, their study only in vain fashions, which breeds prodigality, pride and envie (qtd.
in Iliffe and Willmoth).
Cavendish clearly saw the lack of educational opportunities as a hereditary disease that sickened her
gender and hindered its progress. She recognized the training that young girls went through and later
passed on to their daughters, and lamented over the time wasted in things that did not advance the
mind or instill proper virtues. Such

Analysis Of Canadian Politician Ron Johnson
Pricing is actually a pretty simple and straight forward thing. Customers will not pay literally a penny
more than the true value of the product (Johnson, R. n.d.). The introductory citation by Canadian
Politician Ron Johnson lays the foundation for this case assignment. A case assignment composed of
proposals to numerous companies pertaining to their pricing strategy. For products created by their
individual organizations. Let s kickoff this case assignment by exploring possible strategies, for a
company that recently developed a new 3D television.
3D television:
A company has produced a state of the art 3D television that contains unique features, that is different
from other 3D televisions currently in the market. This company acquired a patent on a new
technology that doesn t involve the end user to put on 3D glasses to enjoy the effect and display of this
contemporary television. Due, to the patent and superior technology this company will revel in the
advantage it will gain over other companies for at least a year or two. So, it would be prudent that this
company heeds the following advice, in protecting their interest concerning the pricing strategy for
this advanced 3D television.
Consider your overall marketing goals, such as penetrating new markets with new products, or
maintaining a higher market share with existing products compared to your closest competitors (Paley,

up afterward is not everyone s cup of tea. It sure wasn t mine and to this very day, I still have mixed
feelings about sparring in Taekwondo. Sparring is a sport for students to better prepare themselves in
self defense, but also for competition. Light contact was recommended, but at times the pressure gets
the better of the fighter. Accidents frequently occur. I was just starting out in this lung stopping sport,
so neither my mind and body were ready to have the life sucked out of us. I didn t mind sparring, but
when I saw who I was paired with, I might of as well just left the suffocating arena. It was a hot

As my eyes burned from the sweat and tears mixing together, I yelled at myself, I m so pathetic! How

SAT by Danielle Ofri
In a life of poverty, illnesses surround its inhabitant. From poor nutrition to unfit living conditions
come afflictions that range from a cough to polio. And as a society we preoccupy ourselves with the
short comings of poverty. Creating a revolving door at hospitals treating the poor for their present
illnesses, but paying no mind in preventing them for the future. In SAT, Ofri describes her experience
as a doctor treating an impoverished unambitious young man, Nemesio Rios. Instead of just following

to go to college. For educational preparation is the preventative medicine for ones future well being

As Ofri viewed it, taking the SAT s was the best thing she could recommend for Rios long term health.

The Role Of Wine In Roman Culture
Beer
1. How is the discovery of beer linked to the growth of the first civilizations ?
Humans first survived by living in groups of hunter gatherers until people began to take up farming.
People relied on foods like wild grains, nuts, or berries, as well as beer, a product of cereal grains.
Surplus cereal production much of which was brewed into beer allowed people to store food for future
consumption. This led to a more settled lifestyle, the growth of small villages, and, eventually, larger
and more complex civilizations. Because these first settlements were mainly centered on foods like
grain and beer, beer is linked with the formation of the first civilizations.

Describe The Difference Between Right Atrium And Right...
The heart is made up of four chambers, two atriums and two ventricles. The right side of the heart
receives deoxygenated blood and pumps the blood to the lungs, whereas the left side of the heart
receives the oxygenated blood from the lungs and pumps it to the rest of the body.
The right side of the heart consists of the right atrium and right ventricle. The right atrium receives the
deoxygenated blood via the vena cava (both the inferior and superior) from the rest of the body. The
blood then travels through the tricuspid valve into the right ventricle where it then gets pumped to the
lungs, where gas exchange can occur. The chambers on the left side of the heart are the left ventricle
and atrium. The left atrium receives the oxygenated blood from the lungs via the pulmonary vein. It is
then pumped through the atrioventricular valve into the left ventricle, where it is pumped through the
aorta and to the rest of the body. One adaptation of the heart is the thickness of the walls. The
ventricles have thicker walls than the atria as blood gets pumped out with higher pressures. The left
ventricle is even thicker as it must withstand the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The contraction, known as systole, pumps blood out of the heart. The relaxion phase, diastole, is when
the heart muscles relax, and fill will blood. These cause the stereotypical heart sounds, lub and dub .
The lub occurs when the atrioventricular valves close, and the dub when the semilunar valves close.
An athletes heart has some slight adaptations that make it more efficient. In response to endurance
training, both the right and left ventricles expanded. For strength athletes, the muscle of the heart
thickened, but only for the left ventricle. These adaptations cause the heart to pump blood more
effectively as the myocardial contractions are more forceful, and the filling and ejection of blood from
the heart chambers is

Essay about Conflict in Northern Ireland
Conflict in Northern Ireland
For over three decades there has been conflict in Ireland. The disagreement between the
Republicans/Nationalist and Loyalist/unionists sill continues to this day. The key issue remains should
the North stay part of the United Kingdom with its own developed assembly or should it join the south
as part of a united and independent Ireland?
Ireland is a small country and has a population of 1.5 million. Yet despite this small number, the north
and south of Ireland have been in bitter conflict with each other which has been going on for decades.
This is mainly due to the main difference in the beliefs of the people. The two main groups in Ireland

The three main political groups for the nationalists are the SDLP (Social Democrats and Labour
party), Sinn Fein and IRA (Irish republican army).
The IRA is an extreme paramilitary group which beliefs that peace can only be obtained by violence
and killing. This group has mainly been responsible for the killing of thousands of civilians. This
group believes that the only way to stop British presence in Ireland and get their views across is to use
force and aggression. After the Peace process of 1998 a small splinter group known as the Real IRA
was made. These were members of the IRA which were opposed to the Good Friday agreement and so
split and formed there own group.
Sinn Fein is one of the political parties that agree with the use of violence and what the IRA do. This
group however does not get involved in the killing but elects candidates such as Gerry Adams to
represent and put forward there views on what they believe to be right.
The other main Nationalist party is the SDLP. Their main objective is also to have a united Ireland
however unlike the other two groups it is fiercely opposed to violence and believe it is not the best
way to reach an agreement. These moderate nationalists also want an independent Ireland, therefore
they support the aims of the hard line nationalists but they are opposed to the way they go about this.

Abstract:
The desire to make favorable impression on others is a strong one, so most of us do our best to look
good to others. These efforts are worth the trouble. Persons who can perform impression management
successfully do often gain important advantages in many situations. Impression Management (IM) is
the goal directed activity of controlling or regulating information in order to influence the impressions
formed by an audience. Through impression management, people try to shape an audience s
impressions of a person, object, event, or idea. When people are trying to control impressions of

Branding is your reputation. Branding is about building a name for yourself, showcasing what sets you
apart from others, and describing the added value you bring to a situation.
Most job seekers are not proactive in establishing and building their career brand, letting their actions
speak for them when seeking promotions or new jobs. But why not take the time to master some very
basic tactics that can help build your career brand and make you a much more attractive employee or
job seeker? Remember, if you don t brand yourself, others will for you. And while you may be happy
and secure in your job now, you really never know when that will change.
Management guru Tom Peters, writing in his book The Brand You50 (Reinventing Work): Fifty Ways
to Transform Yourself from an Employee into a Brand That Shouts Distinction, Commitment, and
Passion! states: Regardless of age, regardless of position, regardless of the business we happen to be

Adorno And Horkheimer Mass-Deception
Preface
Within this paper I will describe Adorno and Horkheimer best known work in their article, The
Cultural Industry: Enlightenment as Mass Deception. I will describe in great detail their concept of the
culture industry and its mass deception on society. Then, I will compare Adorno and Horkheimer s
view of the creator and receiver to that of the Birmingham School touching on both their similarities
and differences. Lastly, I will explain both schools influence on sociology and sociological research
concerning mass cultural production and describe how an empirical study based on both schools
would compare.
Horkheimer Adorno The Culture Industry
Theodore Adorno and Max Horkheimer studied Sociology within called the Frankfurt School. The
Frankfurt school was founded in 1924 in Germany at Goethe University. The aim of the Frankfurt
school, according to Horkheimer, was to study the interconnection between the economic life of
society, the psychic development of the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Structuralism is based off looking at the structures, or the bigger picture within a study. Since Adorno
and Horkheimer are concerned with the mass deception that is created by the larger structures in
society such as the entertainment industry, an empirical study today would look similar to that. The
study could focus on the use of advertisements to create mass deception but it would not be a study of
individual behavior as so much one of the larger institutions within society. Methods that would be
used would be perhaps a literature reviews, a survey on different advertisements and their purpose and
a survey of people s perceptions of advertisements and their purpose. For the study the goal is to study
the effects of the creator on the social world and its receivers and study the links between them all, as
in the cultural diamond explained in the

V. Implementation Plan
In order to upgrade the commuter lounge at Seton Hall, it is important to develop an implementation
plan. Having an implementation plan will help us better understand the steps we have to take in order
to get the ball rolling. The implementation plan will also help us keep track of where our progress is
and what steps we have completed. The implementation plan we created will have four different
components: how we will go about implementing our idea, the steps we need to follow to implement
our idea, who would need to be involved, and the communication of our plan to others.
The way we will go about implementing our idea is rather simple. In order to upgrade the commuter
lounge, it is important to gather information about the needs of the commuter student community here
at Seton Hall. Conducting a school wide survey of all the commuter students with questions that will
target what these students look for in a university being, what the university is lacking, what they
would like to see be improved at Seton Hall, among other various questions will give us an idea of
what to include in the new commuter lounge. This survey will help us establish if there is a need for
an upgraded commuter lounge, as we believe there definitely is. Once the need is figured out, we

There is something really appealing about black colored foods, perhaps, because they are not
something we get our mouth s around everyday. Of course there is chocolate, espresso, black beans

These foods from the dark side are filled with more antioxidants than light colored foods because of
their high pigment content. In fact, purple, blue, red and black whole foods are packed with
anthocyanins, a powerful phytonutrient that may help reduce the risk of diabetes, heart disease and
certain types of cancer. Benefits certainly worth crossing over to the dark side for!

Limitations And Limitations Of Evolutionary Algorithms
LIMITATIONS OF EVOLUTIONARY ALGORITHMS
Evolutionary algorithms are very promising problem solving techniques but at the same time, they
have a few limitations that can result in loss of efficiency.
Difficult parameter tuning: Any implementation of an Evolutionary algorithms will require the
specification of various parameters, such as population size, mutation rate, and maximum run time, as
well as the design of selection, recombination, and mutation procedures. Finding effective choices for
these is itself a hard problem with little to no theoretical support. In practice researchers must rely on
any available anecdotal reports from related problems, and lots of trial and error.
No assurance of convergence: There is no assurance that the evolutionary algorithm will converge to a
global optimum. There is a possibility that it gets stuck in one of the local optima. This is the reason
why EAs cannot be applied to real time problems where the accuracy and validity of the solution
cannot be compromised.
Keeping in view, the advantages and limitations of evolutionary algorithms, following three
algorithms have been employed in this work for automatic generations of Quantum and reversible
classical circuits:
1. Genetic Algorithm
2. Quantum Inspired Evolutionary Algorithm
3. Hybrid Quantum Inspired Evolutionary Algorithm

INJECTABLE DRUG ABUSE: GROWING CHALLENGE IN NORTH EASTERN PART OF INDIA
FROM: AE28697
TO: Ministry of development of north east affairs, India

DATE: 19 October 2013
Introduction
North east (NE) India is connected to remaining part of India through a constricted passage known as
Siliguri Corridor squeezed between Nepal and Bangladesh (Hussain, 2011). It comprises of seven
sister states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura. The
region shares more than 4500 km of international border with China, Myanmar, Bangladesh and

Sources reveal the trans border smuggling routes starting from Khamti (Myanmar) to Noklak and
Mokokchung in Nagaland (India), from Mandalay (Myanmar) via Tamu to Moreh in Manipur (India)
and from Homalin (Myanmar) to Kohima (India) (Dolabhai, 2003).
Recommendations
The present scenario of drug abuse in NE India is very alarming as the future of the states is in ruin.
Three simultaneous actions are recommended to resolve the problem. These are checking the trans
border smuggling of drugs, tackling the existing drug users and deterring fresh case. These can be
implemented through strict vigil, Systematic De addiction and Rehabilitation Programme (SDRP) and
by generating scope for healthy livelihood.
Strict Vigil The very first challenge is to impose strict check at the international borders again drug
trafficking. The second challenge is to increase awareness regarding the adverse effect of drug abuse
through mass campaigning. Young Mizo Association (YMA), a local organization created by the
youths of Mizoram observed that drug abuse cases in the state in decline. Since 2004, 143 drugs
related death case has been reported and by June 2008, the same has come down to only four.
However, harsh punishment method employed by YMA called Supply Reduction Service drew flak
from many quarters including the local media the human rights activists. (Outlook India, 2008)

College Should Offer Free Tuition
Having a college degree is considered to a vital part of being successful in today s day and age.
College degrees are really expensive, but in a long run they really pay off. College can be a big
financial burden so with that being said, in my opinion, I think community college should offer free
tuition with some sort of standards to be eligible for free tuition. President Barack Obama conveyed a
speech at Macomb Community College in Warren, Michigan this past September. President Obama
proposed a free educational cost at any two year junior college at length of their stay as long as they
were at least half time students, and they keep up a base evaluation point normal of no less than 2.5
and the administration would cover seventy five percent of the costs to the state getting the remaining
total as stated by Silvia Munguia. CQ researcher Silvia Munguia, states that Although some people
may disapprove of the proposal, arguing that the country would lose a lot of money and that offering
free community colleges would not necessarily improve our educational system nor guarantee
students graduation from college, it is definitely a great starting point. I agree with this because at the
end of the day, you have to start somewhere. Munguia also states There are many benefits of making
the first two years of college free. If Obama s proposal passes more people will be able to attend
college and be better prepared upon entering the job market. Free community colleges

Good And Evil In William Golding s The Lord Of The Flies
The greatest gift man possesses is the ability to choose. In the novel, The Lord of the Flies, by William
Golding, a group of boys get stranded on an island without any adults. The boys quickly form their
own version of society, by choosing a leader and making laws. Consequently, the boys begin to realize
they are without supervision and guidance and can make their own decisions. This realization leads to
struggles for power and boys giving to their darkest temptations. Golding explores the idea presented
by Eric Burdon, that inside each of us, there is a seed of both good and evil. It s a constant struggle as
to which one will win. And one cannot exist without the other. Burdon is correct in his assertion that
humans have potential for both good and evil because people are always given a choice, capable of
choosing either.
People are willing to do almost anything when it comes to obeying authority. When presented with the
option of submitting to power or doing what is morally correct, the choice is usually obedience. As a
matter of fact, in 2013 an experiment was conducted in which subjects were told to commit atrocious
acts simply because a man in charge asked them to. In the experiment two subjects were chosen to be
either the learner or teacher. The teacher would ask the learner a series of questions, if they get an

Stephen King Pen Name
This week the town library is holding an exhibit on pen names throughout the history of writing.
Many authors, even one s popular today, use or have used pen names for some of their novels, short
stories, articles, and etcetera. These writers use pen names for many reasons like trying to have a fresh
start, to avoid being categorized or ignored, to be taken more seriously, and many other reasons.
Authors like Stephen King, J.K Rowling, Benjamin Franklin, and the Bronte sisters have used
pseudonyms in their writing. Many other authors use these aliases when writing as well.
Stephen King is known as one of the most famous and successful horror writers of all time. Something
some fans of King may not know is the fact he has a pseudonym known as Richard Bachman, in
which he has had most of his career. King had a couple reasons for creating this other identity in the
writing world. King first knew that it was only practical to release one book per year, but with a pen

Rowling, also used a pseudonym in her writing career. Her actual name is Joanne Rowling, but she
feared that her books would end up being categorized to the female gender since she is a female
herself. In sight of this, she made her pen name so it was able to be thought of as either or gender. She
then became so famous with her Harry Potter series, loved by both boys and girls, that she created yet
another alias known as Robert Galbraith. She created this new name in order to write detective novels,
and not have the piggyback from her other popular novels. This allowed her to have a fresh start in the
writing world and to explore a brand new genre without expectation and to receive feedback based on
if they liked the books, not the author himself. In J.K. Rowling s writing career, pen names were very
important because of these

stating she needs more help with her ceremonial duties. She reportedly receives many requests from

that there is no accurate system about first lady in Canada, and as such office is unnecessary for SGT
in that she is not a formal position. Having said that, it is false that politicians or government just

opposite transpires in King Lear, even though there are many critics like Aleena Bonk for example,
who said that the women were portrayed as biased, misogynistic and (they) leave a bitter taste in the
mouth (Bonk 2). On the contrary, it is remarkable that the women in King Lear live in an extremely
patriarchal society and yet they hold the most power throughout the play. It is important to note that
the term feminism was not coined until the 19th century, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Regan initially appears to be the slightly gentler, more hesitant sister, as she compels Goneril to think
on her actions a bit more before initiating a plot to kill the king. Regan is also less hostile in her
speech than Goneril, as she tries to sound respectful towards Lear whilst her intentions contradict her
words. Nevertheless, eventually Regan turns out to be equally bloodthirsty as Goneril, even
suggesting Gloucester should be hanged instantly before Goneril suggests the gruesome act of
gouging out his eyes. Just like Goneril, even though her speech is more passive, Regan has no
problem overpowering her father. When she does, her father obeys her; thus reversing the power men
have over women in a patriarchal society. While Regan also does not appear to love her husband,
which is proven by her action of taking Edmund as her lover shortly after her husband has died, the
duke of Cornwall is not at all like the duke of Albany. Cornwall abuses his power and seems to enjoy
causing pain. Nevertheless, he abides to his wife s orders as well. When Regan and Goneril plan to
gouge out Gloucester s eyes, they do not go through with this act themselves. Instead, they let
Cornwall do the dirty work, as they look on. This shows that the women give the orders and the men

Abstraction Is An Old Story With The Philosophers
Abstraction is an old story with the philosophers, but it has been like a new toy in the hands of the
artists of our day. Why can t we have any one quality of poetry we choose by itself? We can have in
thought. Then it will go hard if we can t in practice. Our lives for it.
Granted no one but a humanist much cares how sound a poem is if it is only a sound. The sound is the
gold in the ore. Then we will have the sound out alone and dispense with the inessential. We do till we
make the discovery that the object in writing poetry is to make all poems sound as different as
possible from each other, and the resources for that of vowels, consonants, punctuation, syntax, words,
sentences, metre are not enough. We need the help of context ... Show more content on

Granted again that it has an equal claim with sound to being a poem s better half. If it is a wild tune, it
is a Poem. Our problem then is, as modern abstractionists, to have the wildness pure; to be wild with
nothing to be wild about. We bring up as aberrationists, giving way to undirected associations and
kicking ourselves from one chance suggestion to another in all directions as of a hot afternoon in the
life of a grasshopper. Theme alone can steady us down. just as the first mystery was how a poem could
have a tune in such a straightness as metre, so the second mystery is how a poem can have wildness
and at the same time a subject that shall be fulfilled.
It should be of the pleasure of a poem itself to tell how it can. The figure a poem makes. It begins in
delight and ends in wisdom. The figure is the same as for love. No one can really hold that the ecstasy
should be static and stand still in one place. It begins in delight, it inclines to the impulse, it assumes
direction with the first line laid down, it runs a course of lucky events, and ends in a clarification of
life not necessarily a great clarification, such as sects and cults are founded on, but in a momentary
stay against confusion. It has denouement. It has an outcome that though unforeseen was predestined
from the first image of the original mood and indeed from the very mood. It is but a trick poem and no
poem at all if the best of it was thought of first and saved for the last. It

  • 2. Enthroned Madrandonna And Child With Saints Summary Piero della Francesca s art has always been intriguing to the eyes of the lookers, analysers, every art pieces containing lots of symbolism and meanings. The Altarpiece Madonna and child with Saints adored by Frederico da Montefeltro was one of the work. Piero della Francesca was born in 1412 and was involved in the Early Renaissance movement. His style involved the use of humanism, geometric forms and use of perspective to create art. From what I saw in the piece Enthroned Madonna and Child with Saints, the first thing I saw was a group of people surrounding a woman with a baby. The atmosphere of the piece seems to be solemn and grief even though the painting was painted in bright colours. It was the facial expressions of the people that depict that it may not be a joyous event. The knight was at the forefront of the painting and almost seems to be bigger than anyone else, it may suggest that he s important in the piece. Piero also used linear perspective in the altarpiece, creating a sense of depth and the vanishing point at around Mary s eyes. With the use of geometry, Piero managed to create the background architecture with such clarity which a lot of artists at that time couldn t achieve. Into further observation, instead of thinking that the baby was bleeding, he was wearing a red necklace. The red colour can be represented as blood pouring out of the baby, a symbol of life and death. From the way the baby was positioned, it may be assumed that the baby is either ... • 3. Patrick Lencioni s Three Signs Of A Miserable Job THREE SIGNS OF A MISERABLE JOB DISCUSSION QUESTIONS 1. Is a miserable job different than a bad job? If so, in what ways? A miserable job is not the same as a bad job. According to Patrick Lencioni, what is considered a bad job varies from person to person. Lencioni states, Some people consider a job bad because it is physically demanding or exhausting, involving long hours in the hot sun. Others see it as one that doesn t pay well. Still others call a job bad because it requires a long commute or a great deal of time sitting behind a desk. It really depends on who you are and what you value and enjoy. A miserable job differs from a bad job because instead of disliking parts of your job you job is physically and emotionally draining you. Lencioni states that, [A miserable job is] the one you dread going to and can t wait to leave. It s the one that saps your energy even when you re not busy. It s the one that makes you go home at the end of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Do you understand how your performance will be measured and assessed in your current job? If so, how do you know this? What about in your classes this semester? What did Brian do in Three Signs of a Miserable Job to help his employees understand how they would be measured? Give several very specific examples. I did not understand how my performance was being measured and assessed at my job. I would assume that I am performing well well I did not get feedback from my mangers saying others wise. At my job no feedback was good feedback. My classes are another story. This semester, all but one of my classes post grades regularly so I know exactly how I am performing and what I need to change or keep doing in each class to remain successful. In Three Signs of a Miserable Job, Brian asked his employee Carl to ask him self what measurement should be used to determine if Carl did a good job at work or not. • 4. Miss Havisham In Charles Dickens Great Expectations The expectations for Estella to be the embodiment of Miss Havisham s revenge were too harsh for her to meet. Through her childhood, her methods of achieving her goals and her fall from grace, Estella fails to meet the standard she was raised to meet. Estella had to deal with the formations of her expectations in her childhood. If she wasn t climbing the ranks of society, she was dropping the spirits of everyone around her. To start her story, you must understand who she came from and how she was given these expectations. Her parents were common in laws and they ended up losing her after her mother was charged for murder, and Estella was taken away. She was then adopted by Miss Havisham, an older woman with crazed tendencies. As Miss Havisham once said, My dear! Believe me this: when ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... At first I meant no more....I stole her heart away and put ice in its place (Dickens 312 313). Miss Havisham wanted someone to spend her time with, but as time went on that view changed. Soon Estella went from being a young child who cared to a beautiful young woman with a stone and ice shell around her heart. The baseline for her started to be laid as soon as she came to Miss Havisham. As soon as she started to find her way, navigating these strange waters, Estella was introduced to Pip, a boy Miss Havisham and Estella played with from time to time for years. The moment she didn t want to do anything that Miss Havisham wanted her to do, she was reminded of how she should be: With this boy! Why, he is a common labouring boy! I thought I overheard Miss Havisham answer only it seemed so unlikely Well? You can break his heart (Dickens 46). Icy hearted Estella wouldn t care that Pip is a common boy. The message Brooks is trying to send is that dropping out of school and roaming the streets is in fact not cool but in actuality a dead end street. Brooks conveys her message in an ironic manner, which is presented in the title of the poem. Before actually reading the 10 line poem the first thing that grabs the reader s attention is the title. After reading the title We Real Cool one would assume that the intent of the poem is going to be about a group of people who are fortunate and live a flamboyant lifestyle. This is evident in the poem when we are told they left school. We later learn that instead of attending school the players go to a pool hall. The name of the pool hall, Golden Shovel contributes to the theme of the poem. The golden shovel has a deeper meaning and serves as a symbol. The so called Golden lifestyle of the players will eventually cost them their lives. In return they will eventually be [ shoveled ] in their grave. Several of the lines in Brooks s poem begin with words that start with the same consonant letter; this is an example of alliteration. The [l] sound in lurk late, the [str] sound in strike straight, and the [j] sound in jazz June. The alliteration used allows the poem to flow smoothly. Brooks makes great use of rhyme throughout the poem. She uses words such as cool , school , sin , and gin. These are external rhymes which appear at the end of lines. The rhyme scheme used compliments the theme, since it is the directed towards a young audience. The reason we know that Brooks is trying to attract a young crowd is because she is talking about youth who are suppose to be attending school. The poem is given an up tempo beat, almost like a rap. This rap like sound may also help attract young readers. This poem describes the lifestyle of young rebels. They are cool having left school , and die soon. The seven ... The Antamina mine, was the underlying asset of this bidding process which included 40 bidders; though that number was steadily dwindling, and by June of 1996 was down to only a handful serious contenders. Within the copper mining industry, there were three dominant players, RTZ CRA, Noranda, and a joint venture of Inmet Mining and Rio Algom. These three were believed to be the primary bidders. All three had ancillary mineral mining practices aside from copper, as well as other areas of business. RTZ CRA was the largest of these three, and was believed to be the best positioned to prevail on the bidding. The other bidders were smaller in capital but had the same level of mining experience. The joint venture of Rio Algom and Inmet had only $1.5 billion combined market capitalization, but Inmet had a healthier capital structure and less financial risk which created a lower cost of capital. The bidding rules reduced the sensitivity of capital and created comparative advantages for smaller players. For RTZ CRA to execute on their bid and acquire Antamina at a strategically economic price, they would have to have made the decision of whether this property would provide long term economic and strategic value. Furthermore, these movies also portray the views that the gang members have on females. Gwendolyn D. Pough, the author of What It Do, Shorty, stated perfectly the minimal number of roles available for them in hood related movies. Ms. Pough wrote However, what does come across clearly as one reads the Steffans s memoir and Bryan s tell all are the ways in which some women have chosen to buy into the sexism and misogyny that limits the roles that women can play in hip hop culture (Pough. pg. 83). Based on the quote, woman in hood related movies are often portrayed as sex object, who are only useful to the man by supporting his needs, the only females who are not viewed so negatively are the mothers of the gang members. Although, there are female characters pushing back this stigma of women in the hood, who are tacking roles of female empowerment. Sadly, these roles are not abundant in the film industry. Movies that portray the hood life are very accurate, these films depict the life of both man and woman in the streets of South L.A. or Chicago and even New York. Transcendentalism, An American Philosophy American philosophers during the early to mid 1800s embraced a new liberal movement known as transcendentalism that posed a silent threat to the current social and political institutions of the time period. Henry David Thoreau acted as the father of this new philosophy that would go on to transform the social structure of America into what it is and is still becoming today. Transcendentalism is an American philosophy that humankind has an innate sense of being and knowledge of the world around them that extends beyond the tangible, physical realm that can simply be seen, heard, tasted, touched, or felt. This idea disregards logic and reason, focusing almost entirely on intuition and imagination. Therefore, according to 26f. They drew the basis of their belief system from a periodical called, The Dial, which was written by a radical feminist who pushed male and female equality in nearly all of her publications. Transcendentalism remained entrenched in its study and discussion until Henry David Thoreau tried to physically put it into practice ( 26f ). The Selection System Of A Multiphasic Hurdle Approach Essay In the selection system, a multiphasic hurdle approach will be used, meaning that individuals must meet minimal standards from the current stage before being moved on to the next. As mentioned previously, the initial assessment will involve having applicants fill out an application blank. This application will then be scored according to our minimal standards, ensuring that applicants meet the minimum age requirement and that they are authorized to work in the United States. Therefore, the process will essentially require those two things, and the rest of the applicants will be passed along to the next stage. As a result of the requirements, we do not expect this assessment to have an adverse impact. Candidate reactions will likely be at least moderately positive, as it will involve little effort on their part, and will provide necessary information to move forward in the employment process. However, these applications may take significant amounts of time to process, so we will be using an online application that will allow us to receive our data and easily sort out those who do not meet minimum requirements, saving time and money. Work experience will be scored, but not used to determine whether or not applicants make it over the first hurdle. This information will only be used in the final decision. Work experience will be placed in three distinct categories: no relevant experience, minimal relevant experience (0 3 months), and substantial relevant experience (3 months or ... The right side of the heart receives deoxygenated blood and pumps the blood to the lungs, whereas the left side of the heart receives the oxygenated blood from the lungs and pumps it to the rest of the body. The right side of the heart consists of the right atrium and right ventricle. The right atrium receives the deoxygenated blood via the vena cava (both the inferior and superior) from the rest of the body. The blood then travels through the tricuspid valve into the right ventricle where it then gets pumped to the lungs, where gas exchange can occur. The IRA is an extreme paramilitary group which beliefs that peace can only be obtained by violence and killing. This group has mainly been responsible for the killing of thousands of civilians. This group believes that the only way to stop British presence in Ireland and get their views across is to use force and aggression. After the Peace process of 1998 a small splinter group known as the Real IRA was made. I will describe in great detail their concept of the culture industry and its mass deception on society. Then, I will compare Adorno and Horkheimer s view of the creator and receiver to that of the Birmingham School touching on both their similarities and differences. Lastly, I will explain both schools influence on sociology and sociological research concerning mass cultural production and describe how an empirical study based on both schools would compare. Since Adorno and Horkheimer are concerned with the mass deception that is created by the larger structures in society such as the entertainment industry, an empirical study today would look similar to that. The study could focus on the use of advertisements to create mass deception but it would not be a study of individual behavior as so much one of the larger institutions within society. Methods that would be used would be perhaps a literature reviews, a survey on different advertisements and their purpose and a survey of people s perceptions of advertisements and their purpose. Having an implementation plan will help us better understand the steps we have to take in order to get the ball rolling. The implementation plan we created will have four different components: how we will go about implementing our idea, the steps we need to follow to implement our idea, who would need to be involved, and the communication of our plan to others. The way we will go about implementing our idea is rather simple. In order to upgrade the commuter lounge, it is important to gather information about the needs of the commuter student community here at Seton Hall. Conducting a school wide survey of all the commuter students with questions that will target what these students look for in a university being, what the university is lacking, what they would like to see be improved at Seton Hall, among other various questions will give us an idea of what to include in the new commuter lounge. This survey will help us establish if there is a need for an upgraded commuter lounge, as we believe there definitely is. Once the need is figured out, we ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Limitations And Limitations Of Evolutionary Algorithms LIMITATIONS OF EVOLUTIONARY ALGORITHMS Evolutionary algorithms are very promising problem solving techniques but at the same time, they have a few limitations that can result in loss of efficiency. Difficult parameter tuning: Any implementation of an Evolutionary algorithms will require the specification of various parameters, such as population size, mutation rate, and maximum run time, as well as the design of selection, recombination, and mutation procedures. Finding effective choices for these is itself a hard problem with little to no theoretical support. In practice researchers must rely on any available anecdotal reports from related problems, and lots of trial and error. No assurance of convergence: There is no assurance that the evolutionary algorithm will converge to a global optimum. There is a possibility that it gets stuck in one of the local optima. This is the reason why EAs cannot be applied to real time problems where the accuracy and validity of the solution cannot be compromised. Keeping in view, the advantages and limitations of evolutionary algorithms, following three algorithms have been employed in this work for automatic generations of Quantum and reversible classical circuits: 1. Genetic Algorithm 2. Quantum Inspired Evolutionary Algorithm 3. Hybrid Quantum Inspired Evolutionary Algorithm GENETIC ALGORITHM Genetic Algorithm is a heuristic search and optimization algorithm which like any other Evolutionary Algorithm, mimics the process of ... College degrees are really expensive, but in a long run they really pay off. College can be a big financial burden so with that being said, in my opinion, I think community college should offer free tuition with some sort of standards to be eligible for free tuition. President Barack Obama conveyed a speech at Macomb Community College in Warren, Michigan this past September. President Obama proposed a free educational cost at any two year junior college at length of their stay as long as they were at least half time students, and they keep up a base evaluation point normal of no less than 2.5 and the administration would cover seventy five percent of the costs to the state getting the remaining total as stated by Silvia Munguia. CQ researcher Silvia Munguia, states that Although some people may disapprove of the proposal, arguing that the country would lose a lot of money and that offering free community colleges would not necessarily improve our educational system nor guarantee students graduation from college, it is definitely a great starting point. I agree with this because at the end of the day, you have to start somewhere. Munguia also states There are many benefits of making the first two years of college free. If Obama s proposal passes more people will be able to attend college and be better prepared upon entering the job market. Free community colleges ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In the novel, The Lord of the Flies, by William Golding, a group of boys get stranded on an island without any adults. The boys quickly form their own version of society, by choosing a leader and making laws. Consequently, the boys begin to realize they are without supervision and guidance and can make their own decisions. This realization leads to struggles for power and boys giving to their darkest temptations. Golding explores the idea presented by Eric Burdon, that inside each of us, there is a seed of both good and evil. It s a constant struggle as to which one will win. And one cannot exist without the other. Burdon is correct in his assertion that humans have potential for both good and evil because people are always given a choice, capable of choosing either. People are willing to do almost anything when it comes to obeying authority. When presented with the option of submitting to power or doing what is morally correct, the choice is usually obedience. As a matter of fact, in 2013 an experiment was conducted in which subjects were told to commit atrocious acts simply because a man in charge asked them to. In the experiment two subjects were chosen to be either the learner or teacher. The teacher would ask the learner a series of questions, if they get an answer wrong they got a shock. However, the exact opposite transpires in King Lear, even though there are many critics like Aleena Bonk for example, who said that the women were portrayed as biased, misogynistic and (they) leave a bitter taste in the mouth (Bonk 2).
