automobiles of various kind. The company was founded in 1945 in Ludhiana as Mahindra

Two very different leaders, one liked by many and one despised by many, are Ho Chi Minh and

One thing that the readings mentions that when we look at the policy making process, we should
look at the separation of powers. The separation of powers in our government, is the balance that
was put in place so that no branch has too much power, and that each branch can override a

I do not want to make a case for either the monotheistic or polytheistic imagination and say that one
is better than the other. In healthy people both can fruitfully coexist, and both have their drawbacks.

In the northern part of Wyoming there is a park that holds a long history, both good and bad.
Stories of spirits come from the park and one of the stories is centered around one of the hotels
in the park. Whispers of a poorly wronged soul who wanders the hotel and while normally a
peaceful spirit, she is still capable of violence. Though we will discuss this later. In the frigid
Winter, the year of which escapes my knowledge, a young manand few of his friends stayed at the
hoteland left with an experience they ll never forget or never want to recall.
The young man, who we ll call Smith to protect his identity, recounted to me the following tale
of the Winter vacation that, as he said, could not even have gotten worse. At the time Smith was
a very healthy lad of 26 who was spending his winter break with his four friends (I ll use alternate
names for them as well). The first of his friends was a tall well built man we ll call Jack, he, like
Smith, was a healthy young man though Jack was a few months shy of Smith s age. As well as
physical strength, Jack was also highly intelligent, reading a complex math problem like a child
would their children s book. Smith s next friend was a beautiful young woman who ll be referred
to as Jane. Jane was a nature enthusiast who chose to go to Yellowstone for Winter break. She

Something that I vehemently disagree on with both political parties is defense spending. In their
platforms, both parties seem to favor an increase in funding, even if it is a bit more discretely
worded under the Democratic Party s platform. In my view, we allocate too much of our country s

military is by far and away the most puissant armed organization in the world. Here are some
figures that help illustrate just how pragmatic that last statement is. In the 2015 fiscal year we
spent 598 billion dollars on the military; that s over fifty percent of the federal government s
discretionary spending.(1) In 2016, only 19 of 194 nations had a higher GDP than America s
defense budget; that means that the U.S. spends more money per year on its military than the
total value of all goods produced and services provided in a country in a year in 90 percent of the
world s nations.(2) According to 2016 statistics the U.S. spends more on its defense than the next
eight countries combined.(3) That same year, China was second with a 215 billion dollar defense
budget and Russia was third at approximately 69 billion.
Donald Trump s audacious administration is actually proposing a budget for 2018 that increases
military spending by 54 billion dollars!(4) To make this feasible massive cuts have to be made to
the detriment of bureaucratic organizations such as: the department of education, the EPA,
department of labor, housing and urban development department. To give that number a frame of
reference, the estimated cost of providing tuition free public universities under the 2016 Sanders
plan is approximately 75 billion dollars.(5) We already have nearly eight hundred military bases
around the world, do we really need to allocate more resources to this department in which we
already have the ability to act unilaterally on a global scale with impunity?(6) Or are there other
departments in our society that could benefit more from an influx in funding?

of the young ladies surveyed responded that they have people they can talk to in their home or
neighborhood when making decisions. Sadly, only 20% of the young ladies recorded being
aware of the correct usage of contraceptives before their first sexual experience. Seventy two

make a baby. Forty eight percent of the young ladies surveyed stated they lived in a financially
stable home. What constituted a financially stable home in this research was a parent or parents

My favorite hymn is In Christ Alone. By most standards it is a modern hymn. While many
Christian hymns date back to the early church, the two songwriters of In Christ Alone began work
