The theory has implications for inequality within a country (Stopler Samuelson) and between
countries (Factor Price Equalization). The Stopler Samuelson theory, which builds on the Heckscher
Ohlin theory, predicts that with increased trade, the nation s abundant factor will gain and the scarce
factor will lose. In terms of income inequality within a country this means that by increasing trade the
lower income group, which control the abundant and cheap factor would realise an increase in income

This paper will start by tackling the economic situation in Ohio by defining the main terms which we
will use from time to time in this economic analysis. We will define recession and depression in order
to put these matters in the right perspective. According to the National Bureau of Economic Research
(NBER), recession is the period when business activities have reached its peak and a fall starts. This
continues until the time when those business activities reach the bottom. In average, a recession lasts
for one year. Depression on the other hand is a downturn in economic activity. A great example is the
Great Depression of 1930. The term recession was coined during this period in order to differentiate
the event of 1930 from the smaller economic declines of 1910 and 1913 (Smiley, 2008). So we can
lightly say that a depression can be said to be a recession that lasts longer and its business activity
decline is larger.
Having defined both the recession and depression, we can point out the difference. The changes in
GNP are the best test to use in getting the differences between the two terms. For a depression, the
GNP declines by more than 10 per cent (Moffat, n.d). On the other hand a recession is an economic

It is an act that is taking place in front of the camera and just being captured. There are usually no
special effects and no one is manipulating the scene. During this film when the egg falls onto the ice it

McMurtry creates a story about his family, based on their accounts left to him in memoirs and letters
throughout the years. McMurtry s ultimate purpose is to narrate an expressive literary essay that uses
humor and drama to attract the attention of the reader. While discussing cowboys and their
straightforward wisdom, he concludes that cowboys observations turn into aphorisms. One such

have grown up together in The Bottoms, in Inglewood, California. Malcolm was trying to escape a
gang one day when he had an encounter with a neighborhood drug dealer named Dom. Dom ended up

As the bay area technology boom continues, so has one of residents basic needs: the cost of housing.
According to U.S. Census data five of the top seven fastest growing counties in California are in the
bay area, with the fastest growing county being Alameda (2010). Since the 2010 census, it was
estimated Alameda would add a little over 100,000 residents by August of 2014. With the increased
population the cost of living has also increased, especially housing costs. From January 2014 to
January 2015, the average rent in Oakland increased by approximately 20 percent in a city struggling
to deal with housing demands (Zillow, 2015).
The core cause of this problem stems from the issues of gentrification. The merriam webster

The elements of art are quite splendid and balanced in this piece, creating an example of a solid piece

Trevor and his siblings were found abandoned at a home construction site, rescued by Labrador

is the face for the United States. To be a second chair leader to the pastor you are either an associate

and so forth. So if you are an associate minister, at least in the United Methodist Church, you may
want your Sr. pastors job but you do not really have any say who will get it or not, so most of the time

A less theoretical definition of poetry is, putting the best words in the best possible order. A poet may
incorporate the theory as follows. The poet may astutely choose words possibly with a double
meaning in order to indirectly convey a message, evoke emotions, or to slander. Then, the poet may
unconventionally place such words and phrases perhaps out of expected order for the sake of creating
a word picture, emphasizing the speaker s feelings, or offering tangibility to the poem. By
implementing this idea onto poetic works, the poet will have auspiciously written a superb poem. This
theory may be applied to a few of Catullus s poems specifically Carmen 5 , Carmen 8 , and Carmen
85. Catullus s meticulous choice of words and arrangement highlight the central focus of the poem,
obliquely criticize traditional Roman law, manipulate the audience s attitude, transmit the speaker s
emotions, paint word pictures, and offer symbolic meaning consequently producing a successful
poem. For starters, Carmen 5 is an amorous poem Catullus wrote directed at his forbidden lover,
Lesbia. Catullus insists they should disregard the rumors of old men, because while the sun is able to
return, they only have one life to seize. Therefore, Catullus demands hundreds and thousands of kisses
in a jumbled up manner from Lesbia, so their ardent passion cannot ever be cursed by the wicked
ones. The strategic placement of the words let us live and let us love literally place Lesbia as the
central focus of the work. In the original Latin text, the opening line reads as, vivamus, mea Lesbia,
atque amemus, which the words vivamus and amemus enclose Lesbia and thus point to her as the
center of the poet s life and love (Fredricksmeyer 436). It suggests Catullus viewed Lesbia as much
more than an erotic, love poem topic. Evidently, the poem is enhanced through Catullus placing the
best words in the best possible order, because the main subject of the poem is intentionally given
significant importance.
