This story all takes place 3 years ago in the summer of 2012. It was a beautiful summer day, birds

The World Is Not A New Way Of Thinking Essay
The world can only appear monochromatic to those who persist in interpreting what they experience
through the lens of a single cultural paradigm, their own (Davis 6). Growing up in a twenty first
century western culture society has created an ethnocentrism view of the cultures that created the
world into what it is today. This thought of western society as being ethnocentric is not a new way of
thinking. In fact, the world has been practicing the act of viewing one s own culture as superior to that

A graduated license program would and has proven far more effective than raising the driving age to
eighteen would be. Teens shouldn t be immediately given the privilege of driving as soon as they turn
sixteen. There is no possible way a written test can fully prepare them for the responsibilities and risks

Neo is unable to save everyone from being stuck in the computer generated world because many of
them are not ready. As described by the philosopher Nietzsche, we tend to stay with the herd, where
we feel safe and aware. Many of those in the Matrix are not ready to see the truth; it is too much for

It started off as a normal day for the Johnson boys, They woke up, ate breakfast and headed off to the
fields to start their chores. Their chores included feeding and tending the livestock and taking care of
the crops. There were two boys, Rick and Morty the youngest son, Morty loved feeding the cows and
sheep his favorite was a calf named Chad. Chad and Morty have been best friends ever since Chad
was born. When Morty was feeding Chad he looked over and saw a cloud of dust that ranged for
miles. He yelled at his brother to look and together they put away all the livestock and went inside for
shelter. Four hours goes by and the storm finally passes. The two boys go outside to see that
everything has been covered in dust. They run to the barn and see that all their livestock had died from
dust suffocation. Rick and Morty go in a panic everything they worked hard for was gone. They had
no other choice but to migrate to try and find a job so they can survive. So the next day they packed
everything they could carry and got the next ticket to California. This was very usual for the farmers
in the midwest to do this. The Dust Bowl affected people s way of life in the Midwest forcing them to
migrate to California in search of a job and food.
