Step I: Gather Data
Collecting info on your customers is the first thing you should take care of.
There are many sources to get user data. Here’s a few to get you started:
 Use whatever you got at hand. You may already have some
ideas about your customers. Use it!
 Go with your gut. You may have enough product knowledge to
make quite accurate assumptions about your users.
 Web analytics.
 Conduct interviews with users.
 Send some surveys to your customers.

Keep in mind that a persona is a representative of a SEGMENT of your target
audience.
