Memory of Mankind is a project to back up humanity's knowledge in laser burned clay tablet stored in
a salt mine in Germany.
• If you have donated more than 150 dollars to the project and are waiting for instructions, here are
most of them.

Wait for the confirmation email, they will offer you 20 tokens or space for your personal tablet, choose
the tablet obtions.

ask how you design the tablet and you will get a reply like this:
• "if you are familiar with designing graphics, we need a 19x19,5 cm in 300dpi and CMYK. We
recommend to make images as large as possible and text small, with a minimal font size of 4pt (Arial)
(Must be JPEG format) If you are not used to work with graphic-programs you can send us images
and text and we arrange them and send you a proposal. please send files via webtransfer (
https://wetransfer.com/ ) to this email address: (adress hidden for privacy,) please dont sent files by
email! If there are any questions, please feel free to ask! "

This are your instructions:
• The tablet must be 19x19.5 IN CENTIMETERS !!!!!! (open
your microsoft paint program, make a blank 19x19.5 centimeters, save it as JPEG and edit it with
Paint.Net if you want to make it better)
• Download the Paint.Net program
• Learn how to use it, paste the pictures, choose a square in the blank areas, choose the letters (the T
sign), start writting inside the square that your made before, move the letters to the desired place,
everything must fit in the allocated space, leave some space in the edges.
• 300 dpI (I dont know what is that)
• CMYK means true color, most picture editors have that.
• Big pictures, bigger that 300 dpl (get big pictures, about 800x800, open them with paint.net, choose
the better parts, copy and past it on your tablet, or make the whole picture smaller so it fits in your
space, you will get better resolution that way.
• Text must be bigger that 4pt (Arial) maybe bigger in other fonts.
• Must be JPEG format, I made a .dds picture in Paint.net program, with
transparent background and got rejected. I thought that because they were going to write it in a
tile with laser, transparent may save energy but turns out white background is better for them.
• Send it on the wetransfer . com website to the provided mobile email adress,
DO NOT SEND IT BY EMAIL!!!!
• Do everything how they want it and wait for the confirmation email.
