INTRODUCTION
• Safety and Security of anything is a primary concern
today.
• Systems available in the market are quite costly &
everyone cannot effort.
• For this, we have made a prototype of such a system
which consists of two sensors- A proximity Sensor and
MQ-6 Sensor, a microcontroller unit- Arduino Uno, and
a SIM800L GSM module.
4
• Proximity Sensor- Use to detect Intruders
• MQ-6 Sensor - Use to detect LPG gas leakage
• GSM Module – Gives alert to the incharge by Calling
and Sending SMS.

CIRCUIT DIAGRAM

WORKING PRINCIPAL
• The system is designed based on motion activities
and gas leakage
• As the Proximity sense any signal (INTRUDER), it
sends a signal to the Arduino.
• The MQ-6 sensor when detects a gas (LPG), sends
a signal to the Arduino.
• After getting the signal the Arduino sends the
single back to the GSM module.
11
WORKING PRINCIPAL
• The GSM module sends a call and sms to the
concerned authority.
• It sends a particular message to each sensor of
what activity or activities taking place.
• For the proximity Sensor, it sends “INTRUDER
Detected” & for the MQ-6 sensor it sends “SMOKE
Detected”.
12
PROTYPE MODEL
13
WORKING DEMO
• It first checks the
adapter (AT) is
connected or not.
• Next, it starts the GSM
module for connecting
the network.
14
WORKING DEMO
• When the proximity
sensor gets disturb, it
starts Calling the
registered number as an
alert system and also
sends an SMS to the
registered number.
15
WORKING DEMO
• When the MQ-6
sensor gets disturbed
(gas leakage), it raises
a sound alarm & starts
Calling, and sends an
SMS to the registered
number.

WORKING DEMO
22
• This is a strong security system.
• The system is hand and portable, and thus can be
easily carried from one place to another.
• The circuit is not complicated and thus can be easily
troubleshoot.
ADVANTAGES
23
• The system has a GSM module which is the biggest
advantage for the user, as he/she is aware of any
mishap.
• The model is cheaper than any other security system
available in the market.
ADVANTAGES
24
FUTURE SCOPE
• We will add magnetic alarm in the sliding windows.
• We will determine the position of the intruder and
then send SMS to the concerned authorities.
• We will add a keypad to arm or disarm the alarm.
• We will create an Android app to manage the security
system.
