3. Drinking water is a major source of microbial
pathogens in developing countries . Water-borne
disease causes more than 2million deaths &
4billion cases of diarrhoea. Water-borne diseases
can become major problems after natural
disasters if large numbers are forced to live
temporarily in crowded areas with poor
sanitation and limited supplied of safe water.
