package distribution industry become more competitive, UPS uses cutting edge technology, access

UPS did not venture their business outside the United States until the mid 1970s. Canada and

criminal will attack next. These mathematical principle are very useful in tracking down serial
killers. Serial killers are thought to be very random but actually there is usually a rhyme or

Data Analysis Method
Throughout our observation week we were able to collect vast amount of data both from
observations and interviews. In order to let our data speak to us and help us to understand how
the collaborative work is conducted between ITB and Royal Danish Library we have adopted
grounded theory method as a main data analysis practice to work with. This decision involved
summarizing cons and pros of using this approach. According to Glaser, Barney G Strauss (1967),
using grounded theoryinvolves development of theory rather by logical deduction then from
experimental data itself. The publication of The Discovery of Grounded theory finds it relevant
in practical applications and enable prediction and explanation of behavior. As our field setting
is not often overflown with different actors we have decided to unlock behavioral patterns and
get insight also on the profiles of employees. By this approach we have enriched our data, by
being able to see connection between artifacts and articulation work, that draws an implication of

Deaf Reflection Essay
Before starting this class, I had no prior knowledge of anything regarding the deaf community. I
wanted to learn more about the culture and learn to converse in sign language because it was
going to benefit me in the long run. However, I ve never been able to not hear before or had my
hearing altered or manipulated before. I ve never been in complete silence trying to communicate.
I ve never had to try and decipher what someone is trying to say to me without some form of
verbal communication. Once I came into the class and we did some activities, I was shocked with

questions that I knew the answers to. Overall, I didn t do quite so bad, I only missed a handful

health care policies seem to fail in addressing their medical needs. This, however, is becoming a
growing challenge because of the conflicts between medical ethics and immigration laws. Despite
the alluded hope for this patients group within the immigration reform, the Patient Protection and
Affordable Care Act (PPACA) fails to alleviate the burden of their unmet health care needs.
Advocates of their rights for health coverage argue that medical ethics and the United States moral
obligations necessitate expanding coverage to all population residing within the borders of the
country. Conversely, opponents deny their health coverage because their illegal status disqualify

A piece that I found difficult to understand was The Erosion of Classic Norms by Renato Rosaldo.
In the article Rosaldo, discusses how the traditional culture is recognizable from its classic patterns
and how it becomes common among anthropologists in the 1900s (Valle, Prospero in the 20th
Century ). Culture lends significance to human experience by selecting from and organizing it
(Rosaldo: 26). From this quote I am able to further understand how people define the term culture.
We all grow up with one or multiple cultures, but we all form them into something different. In

uses dogs as an example to demonstrate how dogs are seen differently in cultures. Because the
range of human possibilities is so great, one cannot predict cultural patterns from one case to the

completely different cultures, Anglo Americans and the Ilongots, but the truth is that everyone has

Early marriage of girls negatively affects health wellbeing among young women. In Sub Saharan
Africa, spiritual appeasement is among key reasons attributed to early marriage. In fact, girls
/young women are usually sacrificed to the ancestral spirit world (Sithole, 2007). (40) Mbiti
(1999) and Bediako (1997) explain that in African faith practice, females are generally viewed as
having a higher connectivity to the spirit world than males. For this reason, female children are the
preferred spiritual sacrifices because of their biological ability to reproduce children that will
promote generational continuity to the ancestral spirits. This notion may explain why a girl child,
and not a boy, is traditionally the choice for appeasing the spirits. Whether the motive to encourage
early marriage is cultural or spiritual or anywhere in between, it remains a fact that the practice
contributes to reduced health status for women as their bodies are oftren not physiologically ready
for childbearing leading to complications at child birth. A report on child and early marriage
showed that 38% of young women were married before reaching the age of 18, which make them

during pregnancy and delivery, to delivering unhealthy children, and would most certainly remain
