Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message
Join us to learn more about this new, human-in-the-loop capability, brought to you by Integration Service connectors.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:
Bob Boule
Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. He comes with around 20 years of solution engineering experience in application security, software continuous delivery, and SaaS platforms. He is known for his dynamic presentations in CI/CD and application security integrated in software delivery lifecycle.
Gopinath Rebala
Gopinath Rebala is the CTO of OpsMx, where he has overall responsibility for the machine learning and data processing architectures for Secure Software Delivery. Gopi also has a strong connection with our customers, leading design and architecture for strategic implementations. Gopi is a frequent speaker and well-known leader in continuous delivery and integrating security into software delivery.

"Impact of front-end architecture on development cost", Viktor TurskyiFwdays
I have heard many times that architecture is not important for the front-end. Also, many times I have seen how developers implement features on the front-end just following the standard rules for a framework and think that this is enough to successfully launch the project, and then the project fails. How to prevent this and what approach to choose? I have launched dozens of complex projects and during the talk we will analyze which approaches have worked for me and which have not.

Handtools
1. Lesson 1:
Use of HandTools
(Computer Hardware Servicing)
Informations and Communications Technology
2. Definition of Terms
• Bin - a container or enclosed space for
storage.
• Computer chassis - the enclosure that
contains most of the components of a
computer.
• Diagnostic tools - used to test the integrity of
circuits and the quality of electricity in
computer components and to test the
functionality of computer
• Hazards - risks; dangers.
• Insulation - a material that reduces or
prevents the transmission of heat or sound or
3. • Nozzle -a projecting part with an opening, as
at the end of a hose, for regulating and
directing a flow of fluid.
• Preventive - intended or used to prevent or
hinder.
• Static electricity - an accumulation of electric
charge on an insulated body.
• Tool - a handheld device that aids in
accomplishing a task.
• Toolkit - a set of tools designed to be used

4. • ESD - Electro-Static Discharge
• USB - Universal Serial Bus
• LCD - Liquid Crystal Display
ACRONYMS
5. Proper Tool Selection
• A tool is a handheld device that aids in
accomplishing a task.
• Tools range from a traditional metal
cutting part of a machine to an element
of a computer program that activates
and controls a particular function.
6. Preparing for the task
How do you select the best tool for
the job?
First, know and understand in detail the scope
of work to be accomplished,
Second, plan for the scope taking into
account the sequence of tasks.
7. • Selecting the best tool for each task
requires training in the proper use of the
tools, field experience in their safe use,
and following the manufacturer’s
guidance and instructions for that
specific tool.
• When obtaining the tool all the
associated tooling and consumable
parts, as recommended by the
manufacturer, must be included. In
addition, related consumable parts
must also be selected and used
Preparing for the task
8. Environmental Safety and Health Program
requires the following:
• All tools be kept in good condition with regular
maintenance
• The right tool be used for the job
• Each tool be examined before use AND
damaged or defective tools NOT to be used
• Tools be operated according to manufacturer’s
instructions
• The right protective equipment for the tool and
activity be used
Safe Use of Tools
9. Hardware tools are grouped into four
categories:
1. Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) tools
2. Hand tools
3. Cleaning tools
4. Diagnostic tools
HARDWARE Tools
10. • Static electricity is easily generated by
friction on carpets, tile flooring, clothing,
hair, fabric, and etc. The friction of
moving air alone will charge suspended
particles and cause the buildup of static
electrical charges on people and objects
in the environment.
• Grounded anti-static work mats used
with anti-static wrist straps provide the
most basic means for the controlled
discharge of electro-static electricity.
ELECTRO-STATIC DISCHARGE
(ESD TOOLS)
11. • Anti-static wrist strap - used to
prevent ESD damage to computer
equipment.
ESD TOOLS
12. • Anti-static mat - used to stand on or
place hardware on to prevent static
electricity from building up.
ESD TOOLS
13. • A hand tool is a device for performing
work on a material or a physical
system using only hands.
• The hand tools can be manually used
employing force, or electrically powered,
using electrical current.
HAND TOOLS
14. • Flat head screwdriver - used to
loosen or tighten slotted screws.
HAND TOOLS
15. • Philips head screwdriver - used to
loosen or tighten crosshead screws.
HAND TOOLS
16. • Torx screwdriver - used to loosen or
tighten screws that have a star-like
depression on the top, a feature that is
mainly found on laptop.
HAND TOOLS
17. • Hex driver –
sometimes called a
nut driver, is used to
tighten nuts in the
same way that a
screwdriver tightens
screws.
HAND TOOLS
20. • Tweezers - used to manipulate small parts.
HAND TOOLS
21. • Part retriever - used to retrieve parts from
location that are to small for your hand to
fit.
HAND TOOLS
22. • Flashlight - used to light up areas that you cannot see clearly.
HAND TOOLS
23. • Having the appropriate cleaning tools is
essential when maintaining or repairing
computers.
• Using these tools ensures that computer
components are not damaged during
cleaning.
CLEANING TOOLSCLEANING TOOLS
24. • Lint-free cloth - used to clean different
computer components without scratching
or leaving debris.
CLEANING TOOLSCLEANING TOOLS
25. •Compressed air - used
to blow away dust
and debris from
different computer
parts without
touching the
components.
CLEANING TOOLSCLEANING TOOLS
26. • Cable ties - used to bundle cables
neatly inside and outside of a
computer.
CLEANING TOOLSCLEANING TOOLS
27. • Parts organizer - used to hold screw,
jumpers, fasteners and other small parts
and prevents them from getting mixed
together.
CLEANING TOOLS
28. • Multimeter - used to test the integrity of circuits and the
quality of electricity in computer components.
DIAGNOSTIC TOOLSDIAGNOSTIC TOOLS
29. • Loopback Adapter - used to test the functionality of
computer ports.
