FLC-Based DTC Scheme for a New Approach of Two-Leg VSI Fed Induction MotorIJERA Editor
A new Direct Torque Control (DTC) strategy for Induction Motor (IM) drive fed by a two leg three phase
inverter (i.e., Four switches are used in VSI) was proposed in this paper. The proposed methodology is based on
the emulation of operation of the conventional Six-switch three phase inverter. The combination of four
unbalanced voltage vectors is generated by the two-leg three phase inverter, approaching to the synthesis of the
six balanced voltage vectors of the conventional DTC. This approach has been implemented in the design of the
vector selection table of the proposed DTC strategy. Further, Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) is proposed in the
speed controller for the improvement of torque ripples. Convention DTC with Six Switch three phase VSI, twoleg
three phase VSI with PI and Fuzzy Controller are implemented using MATLAB/SIMULINK. Simulation
results have shown that the proposed DTC strategy, two-leg inverter fed IM drive revealed an improved
performance.
Speed Control System for BLDC Motor by using Direct Back EMF Detection Mathodijtsrd
BLDC motors are used in many industrial and traction applications due to high efficiency, low maintenance and high torque. For good performance of BLDC motors, the accurate knowledge of the rotor position is required. The need for the rotor position information in BLDC motors have been satisfied by use of some form of rotor position sensors. But to reduce cost, complexity and also to improve reliability of the system, sensor less drive system is preferred. SPEED AND TORQUE CONTROL OF AN INDUCTION MOTOR WITH ANN BASED DTCijics
Due to advantages such as fast dynamic response, simple and robust control structure, direct torque
control (DTC) is commonly used method in high performance control method for induction motors. Despite
mentioned advantages, there are some chronically disadvantages with this method like high torque and
current ripples, variable switching behaviour and control problems at low speed rates. On the other hand,
artificial neural network (ANN) based control algorithms are getting increasingly popular in recent years
due to their positive contribution to the system performance. The purpose of this paper is investigating of
the effects of ANN integrated DTC method on induction motor performance by numerical simulations. For
this purpose, two different ANN models have been designed, trained and implemented for the same DTC
model. The first ANN model was designed to select optimum inverter and the second model was designed to
use in the determination of the flux vector position. Matlab/Simulink model of the proposed ANN based
DTC method was created in order to compare with the conventional DTC and the proposed DTC methods.
The simulation studies proved that the induction motor torque ripples have been reduced remarkably with
the proposed method and this approach can be a good alternative to the conventional DTC method for
induction motor control.
MODIFIED DIRECT TORQUE CONTROL FOR BLDC MOTOR DRIVESijctcm
In this paper, a new adaptive reference based approach to direct torque control (DTC) method has been
proposed for brushless direct current (BLDC) motor drives. Conventional DTC method uses two main
reference parameters as: flux and torque. A main difference from the conventional method of it was that
only one reference parameter (speed) was used to control the BLDC motor and the second control
parameter (flux) was obtained from speed error through the proposed control algorithm. Thus, the DTC
performance has been especially improved on systems which need variable speed and torque during
operation, like electric vehicles. The dynamic models of the BLDC and the DTC method have been created
on Matlab/Simulink. The proposed method has been confirmed and verified by the dynamic simulations on
different working conditions. The simulation studies showed that the proposed method reduced remarkably
the speed and the torque ripples when compared the conventional DTC method. Moreover, the proposed
method has also very simple structure to apply the conventional DTC and its extra computational load to
the controller is almost zero.

DTC Scheme for a Four-Switch Inverter-Fed PMBLDC Motor Emulating the Six-Swit...IJRST Journal
The paper deals with the direct torque control (DTC) of brushless DC (BLDC) motor drives fed by four-switch three phase inverters (FSTPI) rather than six-switch inverters (SSTPI) in conventional drives. For any three phase inverter require six switches, but these switches are reduced to four. This reduction of power switches from six to four improves the reliability of the inverter, size of the inverter is reduced and cost of the inverter is also reduces. The FSTPI could be regarded as a reconfigured topology of the SSTPI in case of a switch/leg failure which represents a crucial reliability benefit for many applications especially in electric and hybrid propulsion systems. The DTC of FSTPI-fed BLDC motor drives is treated considering two strategies, such as: 1) DTC-1: a strategy inspired from the one intended to SSTPI-fed BLDC motor drives; 2) DTC-2: a strategy that considers a dedicated vector selection subtable in order to independently control the torques developed by the phases connected to the FSTPI legs during their simultaneous conduction. The operational principle of the four-switch BLDC motor drive and the developed control scheme are theoretically analyzed and the performance is demonstrated by simulation.
Speed control of sensorless brushless DC motor by computing back EMF from lin...IJAAS Team
Sensorless operation of permanent magnet brushless direct current (BLDC) motor drive controls the rotating speed with different applied voltage. No phase lagging is produced which leads to increase the efficiency and minimize the torque pulsation of the BLDC motor. Initially, motor can be started by following the v/f method then allows the sensorless mode after reaching the minimum speed of 500-1000rpm. The Sensorless BLDC motors are highly used due to higher efficiency, reliability power, acoustic noise, smaller, lighter, greater dynamic response, better speed versus torque characteristics, higher speed range and longer life. Thus, the source voltage spikes and switching losses are reduced. This method can be demonstrated through MATLAB simulation and DSP TMS 320LF2407A is used in the experimental setup to get the output.

Direct Torque Control (DTC) of Induction Motor drive has quick torque response without complex orientation transformation and inner loop current control. DTC has some drawbacks, such as the torque and flux ripple. The control scheme performance relies on the accurate selection of the switching voltage vector. This proposed simple structured neural network based new identification method for flux position estimation, sector selection and stator voltage vector selection for induction motors using direct torque control (DTC) method. The ANN based speed controller has been introduced to achieve good dynamic performance of induction motor drive. The Levenberg-Marquardt back-propagation technique has been used to train the neural network. Proposed simple structured network facilitates a short training and processing times. The stator flux is estimated by using the modified integration with amplitude limiter algorithms to overcome drawbacks of pure integrator. The conventional flux position estimator, sector selector and stator voltage vector selector based modified direct torque control (MDTC) scheme compared with the proposed scheme and the results are validated through both by simulation and experimentation.

Closed Loop Speed Control of a BLDC Motor Drive Using Adaptive Fuzzy Tuned PI...IJERA Editor
Brushless DC Motors are widely used for many industrial applications because of their high efficiency, high
torque and low volume. This paper proposed an improved Adaptive Fuzzy PI controller to control the speed of
BLDC motor. This paper provides an overview of different tuning methods of PID Controller applied to control
the speed of the transfer function model of the BLDC motor drive and then to the mathematical model of the
BLDC motor drive. It is difficult to tune the parameters and get satisfied control characteristics by using normal
conventional PI controller. The experimental results verify that Adaptive Fuzzy PI controller has better control
performance than the conventional PI controller. The modeling, control and simulation of the BLDC motor have
been done using the MATLAB/SIMULINK software. Also, the dynamic characteristics of the BLDC motor (i.e.
speed and torque) as well as currents and voltages of the inverter components are observed by using the
developed model.

Improved Rotor Speed Brushless DC Motor Using Fuzzy Controllerijeei-iaes
A brushless DC (BLDC) Motors have advantages over brushed, Direct current (DC) Motors and , Induction motor (IM). They have better speed verses torque characteristics, high dynamic response, high efficiency, long operating life, noiseless operation, higher speed ranges, and rugged construction. Also, torque delivered to motor size is higher, making it useful in application where space and weight are critical factors. With these advantages BLDC motors find wide spread application in automotive appliance, aerospace medical, and instrumentation and automation industries This paper can be seen as fuzzy controllers compared to PI control BLDC motor rotor speed has improved significantly and beter result can be achieve.
A NEW APPROACH TO DTC METHOD FOR BLDC MOTOR ADJUSTABLE SPEED DRIVEScscpconf
This paper proposes a new approach to direct torque control (DTC) method for brushless direct current (BLDC) motor drives. In conventional DTC method, two main reference parameters are used as: flux and torque. In this paper, the new approach has been proposed to improve the BLDC motor dynamic performance. A main difference from the conventional method of it was that only one reference parameter (speed) was used to control the BLDC motor and the second control parameter (flux) was obtained from speed error through the proposed control algorithm. Thus, the DTC performance has been especially improved on systems which need variable speed and torque during operation, like electric vehicles. The dynamic models of the BLDC and the DTC method have been created on Matlab/Simulink. The proposed method has been confirmed and verified by the dynamic simulations on different working conditions.
Brushles DC motor are one type of motors that are rapidly gaining the popularity and are penetrating in industrial applications, home appliances, automotive, consumer, medical etc. Because of there many advantages such as high efficiency ,silent operation, compact form ,reliability, low maintenance (due to the absence of brushess), long operating life, high speed ranges etc. for the proper commution of current in inverter the rotar position information is necessary, this information is usually provided by the mechanical position sensors mounted within the motor. however it is well known that these position sensors have many drawbacks therefore a sensor less control of BLDC motor is developed which eliminates the sensing equipment ,reduces the cost of motor and increases the reliability of the BLDC motor. In this paper the position information is obtained from the zero crossing detection of the back EMF which is also called as the terminal voltage sensing method which is the simplest ,method of detecting the back EMF zero crossing ,here the motor voltages are sensed and give to the lowpass filter whose output is give to the ZCD which determines the zero crossing of the back EMF waveform and ZCD generates the signal required for the controller to provide the pulses for the inverter operation the controller used is a high performance controller(DSPic30F4011) which as both the features of microcontroller and digital signal processor .The complete model is simulated in MATLAB/SIMULINK software. the proposed hardware and simulation program are found to be efficient and the results are promising
Brushless DC motor Drive during Speed regulation with Current ControllerIJERA Editor
Brushless DC Motor (BLDC) is one of the best electrical drives that have increasing popularity, due to their
high efficiency, reliability, good dynamic response and very low maintenance. Due to the increasing demand for
compact & reliable motors and the evolution of low cost power semiconductor switches and permanent magnet
(PM) materials, brushless DC motors become popular in every application from home appliances to aerospace
industry. The conventional techniques for controlling the stator phase current in a brushless DC drive are
practically effective in low speed and cannot reduce the commutation torque ripple in high speed range. This
paper presents the PI controller for speed control of BLDC motor. The output of the PI controllers is summed
and is given as the input to the current controller. The BLDC motor is fed from the inverter where the rotor
position and current controller is the input. The complete model of the proposed drive system is developed and
simulated using MATLAB/Simulink software. The operation principle of using component is analysed and the
simulation results are presented in this to verify the theoretical analysis.
Real time implementation of a super twisting control of a BLDC motorIJECEIAES
This paper presents and implements a Super-Twisting high order sliding mode control for a BLDC motor. Conventional sliding mode controller has a very fast response, it allows the convergence in finite time and characterized by its robustness against disturbances and uncertainties; However, the chattering phenomenon due to the discontinuous nature of its control organ degrades its performance, especially in case of mechanical membranes control. To overcome this disadvantage, the most commun solutions are based on the adaptation of its discontinuous nature at static regime, it reduces effectively the chattering phenomenon, but on the other hand impacts performance in terms of robustness. The Super-Twisting is an algorithm of high order sliding mode applicable on systems with relative degree 1, it produces a continuous control which cancels the chattering phenomenon and preserve all traditional sliding mode command performances. To validate the effectiveness and the robustness of the Super-Twisting controller for controlling brushless motors, experimental results using a 3KW BLDC motor are provided and compared with those of a conventional sliding mode controller.
Comparative Study of Fuzzy Logic Based Speed Control of Multilevel Inverter f...IJPEDS-IAES
This paper presents a comparative analysis of speed control of brushless DC motor (BLDC) drive fed with conventional two-level, three and five level diode clamped multilevel inverter (DC-MLI). The performance of the drive system is successfully evaluated using Fuzzy Logic (FL) based speed controller. The control structure of the proposed drive system is described. The speed and torque characteristic of conventional two-level inverter is compared with the three and five-level multilevel inverter (MLI) for various operating conditions. The three and five level diode clamped multilevel inverters are simulated using IGBT’s and the mathematical model of BLDC motor has been developed in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. The simulation results show that the Fuzzy based speed controller eliminate torque ripples and provides fast speed response. The developed Fuzzy Logic model has the ability to learn instantaneously and adapt its own controller parameters based on disturbances with minimum steady state error, overshoot and rise time of the output voltage.
Fuzzy logic Technique Based Speed Control of a Permanent Magnet Brushless DC...IJMER
This paper presents an analysis by which the dynamic performances of a permanent magnet
brushless dc (PMBLDC) motor drive with different speed controllers can be successfully predicted. The
control structure of the proposed drive system is described. The dynamics of the drive system with a
classical proportional-integral-derivative (PID) and Fuzzy-Logic (FL) speed controllers are presented.
The simulation results for different parameters and operation modes of the drive system are investigated
and compared. The results with FL speed controller show improvement in transient response of the
PMBLDC drive over conventional PID controller. Moreover, useful conclusions stemmed from such a
study which is thought of good use and valuable for users of these controllers
Mainly the DC motors are employed in most of the application. The main objective is to Regulate the DC motor system. A motor which displays the appearances of a DC motor but there is no commutator and brushes is called as brushless DC motor. These motors are widespread to their compensations than other motors in relationships of dependability, sound, efficiency, preliminary torque and longevity. To achieve the operation more reliable and less noisy, brushless dc motors are employed. In the proposed work, dissimilar methods of speed control are analysed. In real time submission of speed control of BLDC motor, numerous strategies are executed for the speed control singularity. The modified approaches are the employment of PI controller, use of PID controller and proposed current controller.
SENSORLESS VECTOR CONTROL OF BLDC USING EXTENDED KALMAN FILTER sipij
This Paper mainly deals with the implementation of vector control technique using the brushless DC motor
(BLDC). Generally tachogenerators, resolvers or incremental encoders are used to detect the speed. These
sensors require careful mounting and alignment, and special attention is required with electrical noises. A
speed sensor need additional space for mounting and maintenance and hence increases the cost and size of
the drive system. These problems are eliminated by speed sensor less vector control by using Extended
Kalman Filter and Back EMF method for position sensing. By using the EKF method and Back EMFmethod, the sensor less vector control of BLDC is implemented and its simulation using MATLAB/SIMULINK and hardware kit is implemented.
OPTIMAL TORQUE RIPPLE CONTROL OF ASYNCHRONOUS DRIVE USING INTELLIGENT CONTROL...elelijjournal
The dynamic performance of an asynchronous machine when operated with cascaded Voltage Source Inverter using Space Vector Modulation (SVM) technique is presented in this paper. A classical model of Induction Motor Drive based on Direct Torque Control (DTC) method is considered which displays
appreciable run-time operation with very simple hysteresis control scheme. Direct control of the torque and flux variables is achieved by choosing suitable inverter voltage space vector from a lookup table. Under varying torque conditions the performance of the drive system is verified using MATLAB/Simulink software tool. The ripple content in the torque parameter is significant when traditional PI controller and Fuzzy approach are configured in the proposed system. Finally, by replacing the PI-Fuzzy controller with Hybrid Controller the torque ripple minimization can be achieved during no-load and loaded conditions.

Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.

As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.

INTRODUCTION
Permanent Magnet Brushless DC (PMBLDC)
machines are more popular due to its simple structure
and low cost. Improvements in permanent magnetic
materials and power electronic devices have resulted in
reliable, cost effective PMBLDC drives, for many
applications. Since the late 1980’s new design concept
of permanent magnet brushless motors has been
developed. The permanent magnet brushless motor can
be classified upon to the back-emf waveform, where it
can be operated in either brushless AC (BLAC) or
brushless DC (BLDC) modes. In modern electrical
machines industry productions the brushless direct
current (BLDC) motors are rapidly gaining popularity.
BLDC motors are used in industries such as
Appliances, HVAC industry, medical, electric traction,
road vehicles, aircrafts, military equipment, hard disk
drive, etc. For extensive system testing and evaluation
program, detailed computer modelling and simulation
is being developed. Modelling of the PMBLDC
machine and the controller are essential for evaluating
their performance. The low cost BLDC driver is
achieved by the reduction of switch device count, cost
down of control, and saving of hall sensors for
commercial applications.
BLDC motors are electronically commutated
based on the rotor position. Each commutation
sequence has two of three phases connected across the
power supply and the third phase is left open. The
market is too competitive so cost reduction and higher
performance will be the prime importance. Cost
reduction in BLDC motor drives can be achieved by
two methods one topological approach and second
control approach. In the topological approach, the
number of switches, sensors and associated circuitry
used to compose the power converter is minimized. In

The dynamics of the machine are described
by a set of differential equations the three phase star
connected BLDC motor can be described by the
following basic equations. To attain the electrical
equations for a BLDC machine, basic circuit analysis
was used to find the per-phase voltage as shown
below. These are per phase modelled equation. A per
phase model is also shows in figure 1.

Four Switch Converter Topology
In conventional six switch inverter topology a
30° phase delay is to be carried out between the zero
crossing point of back emf and the commutation
instant. In this aspect too four switch topology
minimizes the cost by using the ZCP of three voltage
functions, that coincide to six commutation instants
rather than using complicated hardware’s to carry out
phase shift. Theoretical analysis and simulations on
MATLAB/SIMULINK were conducted to demonstrate
the feasibility of the proposed sensor less method. The
cost reduction of controllers for PMBLDCM drives
can be considered with the topologies with more than
one switch per phase, but less than conventional two

However, in the four-switch converter, the
generation of 120 degree conducting current profiles is
inherently difficult Though cost saving is achieved, it
introduces distortions in the uncontrolled phase. This
problem is solved by using hysteresis current control.
In this method pwm pulses produced by the switching

the Hysteresis Band. The simulation model is as shown
in Figure 3, figure 5 and output waveform is shown in

Proposed BLDC Motor with Fuzzy
Logic Controller
Fuzzy logic controller
The fuzzy logic Controllers are basically put
to use when the system is highly non-linear thereby
making the making the mathematical modeling of the
system very arduous. The analytical form of the system
is not provided, a linguistic form is provided. The
precise identification of the system parameters are
required. A Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) uses fuzzy
logic as a design methodology. There are basically
three essential segments in Fuzzy Logic Controller.
They are Fuzzification block or Fuzzifier System.
Defuzzification block or Defuzzifier. This is shown in
figure 8.
The first step towards designing a Fuzzy Logic
Controller is choosing appropriate inputs which will be
fed to the same. These input variables should be such
that, they represent the dynamical system completely.
The two inputs given are error and change in error. The
output is the reference current for the Hysteresis
controller. All three membership functions are
Triangular. The input and output membership
functions are shown in Figures 9 to 11. For the fuzzy
controller necessary data required for the simulation is
given in Table 1.
The simulation of BLDC Motor with sensor is
controlled by using Fuzzy logic controller. One of the
reasons for the popularity of Fuzzy Logic Controllers
is its logical resemblance to a human operator. Three
hall effect sensors are connected the other end of the
motor and they are separated by 120 degree
mechanically.

change in speed reference and load is given at the prespecified time. The controller performance is tracked
by observing the speed after the input command.
The measured motor speed from the BLDC
drive is compared with the reference speed producing
the error which is given to the controller in the model.
By decoding output of the hall sensor signals, gate
pulses for the three phase inverter are generated. The
current output from the fuzzy output is fed to
hysteresis controller (current limit control) is used for
making the phase currents smoother. Simulation results
are shown in Figure15-17.
Figure 10. Membership function of change error
Figure 11. Membership function of reference current
A Defuzzifier is generally required only when
the Mamdani Fuzzy Model is used for designing a
controller. Mamdani model is preferred here because it
follows the Compositional Rule of Inference strictly in
its fuzzy reasoning mechanism. Unlike the Mamdani
model, the outputs are defined with the help of a
specific function for the other two models (first order
polynomial in the input variables) and hence the output
is crisp instead of fuzzy. This is counterintuitive since
a fuzzy model should be able to propagate the
fuzziness from inputs to outputs in an appropriate
manner.
The inference system of a Fuzzy Logic
Controller consists of a number of If-Then rules. If
side of the rule is called the antecedent and then side is
called the consequence. These rules are very simple to
understand and write and hence the programming for
the fuzzy logic controller becomes very simple. The
fuzzification rule is entered using the rule editor of the
fuzzy toolbox as shown in Figure 12.

environments where these sensors cannot function
reliably sensor less control is the only choice. Most of
the sensors less methods for a six-switch inverter
BLDC motor drive are not directly applicable to the
four-switch inverter The main reason is that in the
four-switch topology, some methods detect less than
six points, and other commutation instants must be
interpolated via software. In this aspect too four switch
topology minimizes the cost by using the ZCP of three
voltage functions, that coincide to six commutation
instants rather than using complicated hardware’s to
carry out phase shift. Theoretical analysis and
simulations on MATLAB/SIMULINK were conducted
to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed sensor
less method. This paper presents a novel sensor less
method for four-switch BLDC motor drive based on
zero crossing points of stator line voltages.

Position sensing using line voltages
In four switch converter topology the third
phase is connected in between midpoint of two
capacitors. However, in the four-switch converter,
current is flowing even at the zero-vectors as one phase
of the motor is always connected to the midpoint of the
dc-link capacitors. Moreover, the phase which is
connected to the midpoint of dc-link capacitors is
uncontrolled Therefore, by detecting the zero crossing
points of three line voltages, six commutation points
are obtained. From this commutation points the virtual
Hall Effect signals are produced.

A complete simulation of the system is done
in Simulink of the MATLAB environment. The system
consists of a BLDC motor with the dc link voltage and
inverter. The performance of the machine is studied in
open loop. A constant speed operation of the drive is
simulated in closed-loop. Control is achieved via
terminal voltage sensing. The three voltage functions
are used to get the commutation points. A voltage
divider circuit is used first, followed by low pass filter
(second order Butterworth) and then a zero crossing
detection circuit to get the virtual hall signals. . Zero
crossings of VFs are detected using simple comparator
circuits, and the virtual Hall sensor signals VHa, VHb
and VHc are generated that can be used for current
commutation. The virtual Hall sensor signals and the
corresponding operation modes are summarized in
table III.

In a four-switch inverter topology terminal voltages
Vao and Vbo are oriented 60° together. That means Vao
and -Vbo lag 30° with respect to ean and ecn
respectively. Moreover, voltage Vbo-Vao= Vba also lag
30° with respect to ebn. This means that the zero
crossing points of Vao, Vba and -Vbo can be used to
commutate the currents in phase A, B and C
respectively.
Table II indicate the detailed Switching
sequences of four switch converter. Due to the
characteristics of BLDC motor, only two phases need
to be controlled by the four switches using the
hysteresis current control method during each
operating mode. Hence this scheme is called the Direct
Current Controlled PWM scheme. Because the drive
employs the Direct Current Control (DPC) method, in
order to make the current as quasi square waveform in
accordance with the trapezoidal back emf, motor
adopts 120 degree conducting mode and only two
phases are energized at one time. So, the current in the
two phases has the same amplitude and opposite
direction, while in the third phase, the current is zero.
Current is regulated to obtain the required quasi-square
waveform. Based on the switching sequences shown in
table II, the current regulation is brought out by
hysteresis current control scheme.

Conclusion
In this paper, first Modelling of Four-Switch
Inverter Fed Permanent Magnet Brushless DC Motor is
done using Fuzzy controller with the Hall Effect
sensors and then with sensor less control by adopting
hysteresis current control method. Four-switch
converter topology is introduced in this paper where
cost saving is achieved by reducing the number of
inverter power switches and also by eliminating the
position Hall-effect sensors and phase shifters. The
measured terminal voltages yields the virtual Hall
signals for current commutation thereby giving a
sensor less control. The current waveforms are
rectangular without any distortion due to the hysteresis
control. The sensor less method via terminal voltage
sensing will overcome the disadvantages of back emf
method. The fuzzy controller i.e sensor control
responds faster and smoother to reference speed
changes. But if low cost is the primary concern and
motor speed is not an issue, then sensor less control
will be the better choice. The modelling and simulation
of the complete drive system is described in the paper.
Effectiveness of the model is established by
performance prediction over a wide range of operating
conditions. The performance of the PMBLDCM drive
with reference to both the steady state and the dynamic
conditions is improved with the application of the
fuzzy logic controller.
