The advertisement I chose was the Barbie unapologetic hashtag used to promote
the Sports Illustrated cover featuring Barbie. The campaign featuring Barbie was
seen as empowering to young girls but it still brought controversy. Barbie is seen
sporting an iPad and knee high dress which I believe exemplifies female
oppression. Women have been treated as objects for most of their lives because
often times we do not see it and it seems normal. Most people overlook the smallest
details and if they open their eyes, they could truly understand the purpose of any
advertisement displayed in magazines or in commercials. Advertisement executives
have always used the female body to sell their products when it is not even related to
product. Mattel is trying to do for Barbie what Sports Illustrated has sought to do
which is leave behind attitudes of attractive women in bathing suits and compare
Barbie to popular women who were once on the issues and were celebrated for their

Seeing a diverse group of riders old and young, male and female the Posse Riders
project an open, inclusive image for Harley.
While the visual promotional effect of the Posse Rides should be exploited as
much as possible, commercializing them should be avoided. The Posse participants
are Harley s best customers and this event should be an opportunity to reward them,
not exploit them. The indirect benefits, such as building brand awareness and
loyalty, are much more important than short term sales. Given the wide differences
in income, raising prices and/or offering special amenities for additional costs, will
simply drive off working class participants that blow their annual wad on one rally.
This would change the nature of the Posse from an open, inclusive group to a rich,
closed one.
The Posse Rides should also continue to maintain their exclusivity. If everyone can
get a Posse T shirt because of merchandising they will not be worth having to real
Posse Riders. Keeping the number of participants small also adds to the feeling of
exclusivity, as well as only having a Posse Rides no more than once a year. This
should also help to maintain a feeling of spontaneity that is missing from regional
HOG events.

In the absence of evidence to support a population based approach to prevention and
the imperative to deliver cost effective and efficient services, health care providers
need risk assessment tools that reliably identify at risk populations and guide
intervention by highlighting remediable risk factors for falls and fall related injuries.
Such tools typically consist of a rating or scoring system designed to reflect the
cumulative effect of known risk factors for the purpose of identifying those at
greatest risk for sustaining a fall or fall related injury [*]. Historically, fall risk tools
have focused on institutional settings with little attention to tools tested in
community settings. Of the reviews that do include community dwelling seniors,
