Analytical Essay Definition
Writing an essay on the topic "Analytical Essay Definition" can be both challenging and
rewarding. The difficulty lies in the need for a comprehensive understanding of the concept and
the ability to articulate thoughts in a clear and analytical manner. Crafting an analytical essay
requires not only a deep understanding of the topic but also the skill to critically examine and
analyze information, drawing insightful conclusions.
To start with, defining the term "analytical essay" itself poses a challenge. It's not just about
providing a dictionary definition but delving into the nuances of the genre. Analytical essays
require a thoughtful approach to dissecting a subject, breaking it down into its components, and
examining how these parts relate to each other. This necessitates a keen analytical mindset and
the capability to think critically about the topic.
Furthermore, one must be adept at organizing thoughts logically, ensuring a coherent flow of
ideas throughout the essay. Effective communication of arguments and evidence is crucial for
making a persuasive case. Balancing the use of evidence, quotations, and personal insights
without losing the thread of the analysis adds another layer of complexity.
Additionally, crafting a compelling introduction and conclusion that encapsulate the essence of
the analytical essay is a skill that demands practice and refinement. The introduction should grab
the reader's attention and provide a roadmap for the analysis, while the conclusion should
summarize key points and leave a lasting impression.
In essence, the difficulty in writing an essay on the analytical essay definition lies in the
multifaceted nature of the task. It requires a blend of critical thinking, analytical skills, effective
communication, and organizational prowess. However, overcoming these challenges can lead to a
well-crafted piece that not only defines the genre but also exemplifies analytical thinking in
action.

Southern Gothic Literature Research Paper
Southern gothic literature is partly inspired by gothic literature. Southern gothic
literature is a southern genre where the story is focused around gruesome or dreary
ideas. The characters are also normally damaged, delusional or mentally ill. In the
two short stories, A Rose for Emily and A Good Man is Hard to Find both have
elements of southern gothicliterature. In A Good Man is Hard to Find , one example
of southern gothic literature is when the family is on their trip and they drive by
their old plantation s family graveyard, and it had six graves, which was the same
amount of people sitting in the car. The six graves show that each family member
will soon pass away. Another example of southern gothic literature that is seen in
the short story was The Misfit . The misfit was seen as a murderer and horrific. He
was blamed for killing his own father but claimed that he was innocent. ( It was a
head doctor who said what I had done was kill my daddy but I known that for a lie.
My daddy died in nineteen ought nineteen of the epidemic flu and I never had a thing
to do with it. He was buried in the Mount Hopewell Baptist churchyard... Show more

The story tells about how an antisocial woman is willing to kill someone so they
will not abandon her. The story also tells about how she lives in her own delusional
world. The short story s setting is a very old town that is demolished, (It [the

decorated with cupolas and spires and scrolled balconies in the heavily lightsome
style of the seventies, set on what had once been our most select street But garages

neighborhood; only Miss Emily s house was left, lifting its stubborn and coquettish
decay above the cotton wagons and the gasoline pumps an eyesore among eyesores [p

Representation Of Male Chicano Identity In Zoot Suit
Explore the representation of male Chicano identity as seen in Zoot Suit.
Zoot Suit, (1981) is an adaptation to film of the Broadway show by Chicano writer
/director Luis Valdez, and the film helped cement Valdez place as one of, if not the
most important figureheads within Chicano film. The picture depicts whilst also
questioning media documentation of the real life Sleepy Lagoon trial of young male
Mexican Americans born out of the Zoot Suit riots in 1942. This seminal period of
Mexican American history is often overlooked and it is a deliberate choice by Valdez

Chicano men are presented as dominant, and with an overwhelming desire to be
accepted, to fit in (signified with the Anglo origins within the zoot suit.) Yet
simultaneously the Chicanos are presented as trying to forge their own identity and
make their own mark within society. They are presented as brothers, fathers and
friends, the fact they were acquitted of their supposed crimes proves the type of
people these Chicano men were young, and trying to find their place in a society

Oppositional structures in the postmodern world of Perfume masks the truth and

Patrick Suskind employs postmodern messages. The use of postmodernist mockery
exposes the lies, and the enlightenment era characteristics mask the truth.
Enlightenment and romantic era characteristics also preserve styles from the era in
which the novel takes place: mid to late 1700 s. Suskind hides the truth internally,
within the knowledge of the narrator and exposes the lies to a relevant audience to

rejection and condemnation of Grenouille by Father Terrier. Father Terrier thinks,

Managing Objectives Of Building Risk Management
The myriad reform and regulation activities (pay for performance, accountable care
organizations, physician hospital alignment) can be overwhelming. These new
regulations have associated risks of these activities that will impact an organization s
strategic planning. As a result, many boards and executive teams are taking steps to
improve the effectiveness of their risk managementand riskgovernance efforts as
these new risks emerge. One of the greatest challenges they face is the ability to make
risk intelligent decisions for today, and for the future, without really comprehending
the new universe of risks in their changing environment. Making risk intelligent
decisions requires an integrated, customized approach elements (Deloitte).
Considerations in building risk management strategies Compliance with regulations
is one of the largest risks that the health care industry faces. Because the external
environment cannot be controlled, companies will need to control internal
environments and operations to reduce their risk. Defining the risk and establishing
objectives is one of the first steps to achieving an operational risk management plan.
This plan should focus on the daily activities that will help organizations such as the
Mayo Clinic achieve their organizational goals. To successfully understand the risk
that both internal and external environments hold for organizations, correct alignment
of resources will aid in reducing the risk and improving overall
Realism And The Setting Of The Great Gatsby By F. Scott...
In any of the play or the drama written by any author or narrated by a narrator,
certain factors are affecting the nature and the story line of the play being written or
narrated. The mind of the author or a narrator is just like a glass house (Harold
Bloom). Whichever light falls on it; it is illuminated by that color glowing in that
particular manner. In the critical evaluation of any story or play, the thing to be
understood that holds immense importance is the realism and the setting. Realism
and the setting can be literary defined as the social environment around the author or
the narrator that carves the words out of his mind and ideas out of his heart. It is
always seen that the circumstance and surroundings impart a very strong color on the
story line and characters.
Any story line is built around a plot or an axis. For an author or narrator, nature or
surrounding is the biggest gift that seeds the idea in his mind that is further nourished
by his words and fed by his pen, and the end fruit is passed to the audience to enjoy
and cherish the sweetness and taste of it. This simply means that surrounding hold
immense importance for the play as it is the one causing the inception and it is the
one causing the completion tinging it with its flavor and taste. Sometimes it has been
seen that the movements or scenarios going around in the country make the writer
write something. Sometimes it s the sense of patriotism due to problems in the
countries. (Black Matter)

Scaphoid Bone Essay
Hi everyone, For this week s post is regarding the imaging of wrist and hand. First,
diagnostic imaging is a fundamental element of clinical examination of the wrist and
hand for possible injury or trauma. Due to the complexity of the anatomy of the wrist
and hand, it s hard to diagnose a true pathology of the wristand hand. However, an
individual suffers from their activities of daily living, missed work or sports due to
early restrictions of hand/wrist motion (provided and prescribed by medical
practitioners) due to the unconfirmed diagnosis of wrist pathology, such as scaphoid
waist fracture. A scaphoid boneis the largest bone at the upper portion of the carpal

An Analysis Of Peter Pan, By J. M. Golding s I Die...
J. M. Barrie, the author of Peter Pan, said: To die would be an awfully big
adventure. I believe it would be. I have had many experiences with almost dying. I
have had many experiences where my life had flashed before my eyes. April 4th,
2014, I almost died 27 times. On that date, I looked death right in the face, and
laughed at it.
In the summer, I was supposed to go to a girls camp for my church. There were a few
requirements we had to pass off before going. One of them was a 3 mile hike and a
camping trip. We decided to hit 2 birds with 1 stone. So we set a date to go camping
with the girls who were going to camp. There were about 16 girls who decided they
would go. We set off on our 1 night trip on April 4th, 2014. It started off normal. A
regular trail through the woods. The path started to get thinner and thinner as we
walked on it. We then got to a part where we had to go over a log that was partly
hanging over a chasm. I peered over the edge to see thousands of sharp rocks and a
large pool of rushing water. After 3 girls had gone over the log safely, it was my
turn. I slowly put my right leg over the enormous log. I had made sure to steady
myself before putting my left leg over. After I had done so, I threw my left leg
over and sat on the log. Then I put my right foot on the ground. I thought I was safe,
but my left foot s, shoelace got caught on the rugged wood. I pulled with force, but
that was a bad idea. I got it undone, but that force threw me off balance
Mass Surveillance Analysis
When Edward Snowden leaked a large cache of classified NSA documents to the
press in 2012 he fanned the flames of an already suspicious public by revealing an
astonishing amount of information about the United States government s mass
surveillance operations in our country, and around the globe. These revelations weren
t quite as surprising to many experts in the field of cryptography and internet security,
especially in the post 9/11 era, as the unprecedented amount of power granted to the
federal government in the wake of those attacks, in the form of the Patriot Act, has
given rise to warrantless wiretapping and blanket surveillancetactics that are used in
the fight against domestic terrorism. However, government surveillance dates back...

How Important Are Caseworkers In Social Work
I was talking to caseworkers that were in the office. Some caseworkers are with the
Redeploy program and some are not. I talked with caseworkers in schools and
some are investigators for child services. I was comparing their stories to what I
have read and saw in the field. They all stated that they had to build a relationship
with the children so that the children could open up and be honest. There are some
caseworkers that are only in the career field just for a check and they do not help the
child. When they all told me this I felt surprised because many people say that
caseworkers/social workers do not make any money. Majority of the caseworkers
here are White females. There are a few African American women and two men. I

a well thought out act of terrorism by foreign forces. The is a wonderful book that
revolves around cybersecurity and terrorism. Marcus Yallow, the main characterand
narrator of the novel, is a senior at Cesar Chavez High School in San Francisco,
CA. He is a computer geek and gamer, hence his screen name of w1n5t0n . He

The previous paragraph explains how the concept of logos contributes to how
Marcus represents the target in the social justice chart because it explains how
Marcus uses postconventional morality right after the kids were captured by the
Department of Homeland Security, Marcus kept on asking the severe haircut lady
about why he was being interrogated. The quote, Am I under arrest? I repeated.
They can t make you answer any questions if you re not under arrest, and when you
ask if you re under arrest, they have to answer you. It s the rules, clearly
demonstrates how Marcus is exercising his civil rights, while the DHS is
continually violating them by not providing clear responses and explanations for
detainment. As you can see, this is where the story initially outlines the social
justice chart (target, ally, bystander, and perpetrator). It shows us that Marcus is
the target as he is the person on the receiving end of the imposed prejudice and that
the DHS is the key perpetrator as it is the government organization that is imposing
prejudice/bias towards a group of people. Although it is hard to notice, we can also
find that the rules/laws that Marcus recites act as an ally because it attempts to
interrupt the prejudice/bias being imposed. However, Marcus s role slightly changes
when the DHS captures Darryl, a good friend of Marcus, gets held for further

can also be applied to Homeland because the story and its characters make the show

works more accessible to ensembles such as the string quartet and symphony

Hoarding Research Papers
Compulsive hoarding I ve always had trouble throwing things away. Magazines,
newspapers, old clothes... What if I need them one day? I don t want to risk
throwing something out that might be valuable. The large piles of stuff in our house
keep growing so it s difficult to move around and sit or eat together as a family. My
husband is upset and embarrassed, and we get into horrible fights. I m scared when
he threatens to leave me. My children won t invite friends over, and I feel guilty that
the clutter makes them cry. But I get so anxious when I try to throw anything away. I
don t know what s wrong with me, and I don t know what to do. Hoarding is clinical
syndrome that affects millions of people across the United States. This disorder can
have devastating consequences not only for the individual struggling with this
condition but also to those close to them and the community. Clutter in the homes of
people with hoarding problems is extremely disorganized resulting in unhealthy and
hazardous living conditions. Individuals with compulsive hoarding problems show
lack of awareness of the severity of their behavior. They deny the problem, resist help
that is offered to them, and fail to follow through with treatments. Contemporary

deeper prospective of things what might be causing this disorder? As I did my
research, I found myself in awe and disbelief of how bad this can affect a person, and
equally important, those who are close to them parents, spouses, children, and

Israel, the place call the holy land, the land, which Jesus walked, however, it is
widely acknowledged that tensions between secular and religious sectors constitute a
salient feature of Israeli society. If one were to try to summarize the relationship of
Israel to Jewish religion, he would say that it is related but not equivalent to certain
concepts of Israel. Most people think of the holy land when they hear the names
Israel but one must ask the question is Israel truly the holy land. This essay will show
the relationship between religion and Israel. Religion in the broadest sense may be

When Israeli Jews are asked to define their attitudes towards the Jewish religion,
they tend to fall into four categories. As recent findings have shown, about half
(51%) see themselves as non religious , one third 32% opt for a traditional
category, one tenth, or 11%, perceive themselves as religious , and a small minority
of 6% choose the label of ultra Orthodox . The ultra Orthodox (who represent
approximately 7 7.5% of the population) tend to be underrepresented in survey
samples as they generally avoid being interviewed (especially the women).
Accounting for this, each of the other categories should be estimated by half a
percentage (Ben Rafael, 2008). According to Ben Rafael (2008), it is widely
acknowledged that tensions between secular and religious sectors constitute a salient
feature of Israeli society. This aspect is endemic to the very nature of institutional
developments: in spite of prevailing secular attitudes toward the social order, religion
imprints itself in human motivations and values, incessantly raising the question of
the relationship between the new, the old, and the desirable. Hence, attitudes toward
religion are a major factor of cultural pluralization pointing to cleavages and
confrontations. The consideration of approaches to religion, partly originating from
pre modern traditions, is congruent with Eisenstaedt s (2003) assessment of

Wang Lung faces this issue since as his wealth escalates, he becomes more
corrupted and moves away from his original self. In this way, his life is a prime
example of how traditional values deteriorate under the influence of fortune.
The most peace and joy filled period in the Wang familyexistence comes when they

last long. In the early part of the story, when Wang Lung is penniless, he is content.
His needs are all met by the earth that he lives close to. He is humble, honest, and

Essay on Classification of Dog Personalities
As the owner of three unique pups, I know that dogs variances are numerous. Any
one who owns a dog knows that it has a mind of its own, and therefore a unique
personality. Having had many dogs throughout my life, I have found that dogs fit into
three classifications.
Annie dogs As princesses of the canine universe, Annie type dogs have a loving yet
manipulative personality. An Annie dogassumes the role of queen bee. As leader of
the pack, she keeps everybody in line. She dominates all of the other dogs, often by

They literally start to squirm. This excitement epitomizes the carefree nature of
Winnie type dogs. Around our house, we refer to these types of dogs as stuck in
the teenage years. They have perfect, adult like bodies, but gawky movements and
lighthearted behaviors, which show the kid that still resides in them. Winnie types
are unpredictable sleepers, needing to find the perfect position (often achieved by
circling multiple times over all of the papers you are working on just to get as
close to you as possible before falling asleep), needing to be untouched, and
needing near silence to fall asleep. However in contrast to the Annie type dogs,
Winnie dogs can sleep through it all (that is after ruining all of your homework
and falling asleep so close to you that you cannot manage to move your elbow
enough to even rewrite your English assignment). The benefit of their deep sleep,
however, is it gives you a chance to tell them your problems. They listen well, and
their serene expression, really does give the perfect answer to dilemmas, quite
often. Winnie dogs are goofs, but loving, goofs. They look at you with inquisitive
eyes which reveal the compassion needed on a bad day. They love to play with you,
love to sleep with you, and love to eat with you (either in their own bowl on the floor
beside your kitchen table, or on the couch begging for a bite of your cereal). Seeing
as to how dogs mainly eat, sleep, and play, Winnie type dogs
The Five Stages Of Industrialization In The United States
It is extremely fascinating how cities evolved over time. Especially here in the
United States since a great hand full have been industrialized and as a result, some
cities became very popular. The industrial revolution gave cities the opportunities to
expand in manufactures. Thus, factories began to be developed and as a result, it
provided civilians with job opportunities. As the years progressed, cities expanded in
two different methods. One method in how it expanded was by the Concentric Zone
Theory. According to Burgess, cities that in this zone expand outward in form of
rings. Burgess states that the closest zones to the origin are zone that is made up of
labor workers and immigrants. In contrast to zone located furthest from the origin....

Walt Rostow established The Stages of Economic Growth that cities go through to
get to modernity. Rostow states that all societies will eventually be industrialized in
just five stages (Fong 2016). The first stage of modernization begins with the
traditional society. In addition to the cities in Mexico, there are small villages that
are near and far from the city. Some of these villages still practice the first stages of
modernity through agricultural. Subsequently, as villages began to grow, they
expand their development of goods through the pre conditions to the take off stages.
In this stage, goods will be manufacture out of raw material then traded for other
goods. When a city is large enough it goes through innovation. The city acquires
entertainment, several transportation methods, hospitality services etc. these types of
characteristics attract tourist. (CITE DR. FONG?) Mexico city has this characteristic;
sources of entertainment, transportation methods and hospitality services. This is
what is known as the drive to maturity stage. This is the stage that that attracts tourist
due to its modernity. Lastly, a city reaches the final stage of high mass consumption.
Mexico city has reached this stage because there is any form of consumption located
throughout the city. Whether it is automotive, electronics etc, it gives civilians the
opportunity to be high consumers. (CITY DR
Why Is D-Day Important
Joseph Cooper Mr. Miller Social Study 25 October 2016 D Day D Day was one of
the most important battles of World War II. The reason why D Day was important
is because it marked the first time in the war that Allied troops threatened Germany

the Allies gained a foot hold in continental Europe. We might not have won the war
without winning this foot hold. D Day is the secret date on which a military

The D in D Day means the date combat is going to happen. According to US Army,
the Allies gained a foot hold in Continental Europe . We might not have won the
war without winning this foot hold. D Day brought the beginning of the process of
victory for the Allies (www.ivm.org.uk). D Day opened the second way to fight
Germany because, Russia was fighting from one side and the rest of the Allies
were fighting from the other side. This essay is going to be about how D Day was
started, how it was fought, what happened after D Day, and how many soldiers
died during D Day. Beginning in May 1940 Hitler occupied Northwestern France
to grow his nation and wipe out all of the Jews. This was an early start to D Day
because France was one of the U.S. s Allies during World War II. D Day forced the
Germans to fight a two way war just like in World War I (mtholyoke). The Germans
could not handle a war on both sides of them (mtholyoke). By D Day 157 German
divisions were stationed in the Soviet Union, 6 in Finland, 12 in Norway, 6 in
Denmark, 9 in Germany, 12 in the Balkans, 26 in Italy and 59 in France, Belgium

The Dark Knight Essay
The Dark Knight is grimly magisterial. It s a summer blockbuster that contemplates
near total civic disaster: Crowds surge, tractor trailers flip, and buildings explode,
but the pop violence feels heavy, mournful. Light barely escapes the film s
gravitational pull. Yet flitting through this 10 ton expressionist murk is a diseased
butterfly with stringy hair and a maniacal giggle. Played by a dead actor, he s the
most alive thing here. It s not quite fair to say that the late Heath Ledger steals The
Dark Knight from Christian Bale and the forces of (problematic) good, but, as the
Joker, he is the movie s animating principle and anarchic spark an unstoppable force

Confusion reigns in the opening scenes; loose threads abound toward the end
(including one major figure literally left hanging). Yet the generous midsection
works as an agonized big muscle action film about a conflicted superhero. As Bruce

gave his obscenely rich playboy in Iron Man. Bruce uses his secret identity as a
hidden camera to glean information from the city s upper echelons, but he s not
quite there otherwise. This, oddly, is what makes him interesting, both to us and to
assistant DA and ex girlfriend Rachel Dawes (Maggie Gyllenhaal, taking over from
Katie Holmes and providing the character at last with a spine and a brain). Batman
s a whole other story. The filmmakers have worked out the mask problems from the
previous film; Bale fills the suit with grace and danger. His voice is disguised as
well it s now a bass heavy synthesized whisper. The character seems more than ever
an extension of his high tech toys (like the neat o Bat scooter that pops out of the
Batmobile at one point, ecstatically rearing up like the Lone Ranger s Silver). He
represents a citizen s darkest urges, though, and it eats at him. He s Dirty Harry

Influenza is a highly contagious viral infection of the respiratory passages that

Is Competitive Dance A Sport Essay
Is Competitive Dance a Sport And those who were seen dancing were thought to be
insane by those who could not hear the music. said by Friedrich Nietzsche. Although
many will argue that competitive dancing should be considered an art over a sport, I
have a different opinion. Though I do believe that dancing has many qualities that
would consider it an art, I still believe that there are even more qualities that should
make it considered a sport. Keep in mind that i m talking about competitive dance, not
just a couple classes throughout the week. Competitive dancers go to competitions
with a judging system that ensures objectivity, fairness, and transparency. Dancers
also require good stamina, speed, flexibility, and muscle. Dance also requires a
very strong level of discipline and strength. Being a competitive dancer myself, I
can say that the judging system can get pretty intense. There is a first, second, and
third place like any other competition. The judges judge you based on your skill
level, how well you re able to perform, the way you look as a group, and you also
have a time limit just like you have a time limit in football or baseball. Dancers train
all year and go to many competitions to prepare for nationals like football teams
would for something like the superbowl. According to the Grace Sim website, judges
take into consideration choreography, precision, showmanship and technique. The
website also says that judges usually award up to 100 points and the

Establishing a process to move from the current state of the organization, in this case,
nonexistent, to a newly formed structure would require the management of a
transition. To do this a road map for the establishment of the new organization would
be created citing the specific activities and events that had to occur. After the
establishment of the road map, planning a method for commitment to the
organization s development would be done. Once the commitment is established,
structures to manage the change would need to be created. This would involve
looking for people who have the power to mobilize resources and promote change
and of course, people who were willing to stay the course during the rough times that
often occur when change is happening. Staying the course would require the CRVO
to provide a system to support the change agents and influencers in the CVI
community helping them to develop new competencies and skills to generate support
for the mission and reinforce behaviors required to maintain the vision and mission of
the CVI. Decision making during and after the establishment of the CRVO would
have to be more open and engaging than in most traditional organizations. Since the
CRVO is being established to assist with a vision of a much larger community effort,
decisions can t be made without the buy in and acceptance of the main stakeholders.

Involvement Of Online Social Network
Abstract:
Involvement of online social network:
Online social networks today are medium to communicate. Communication includes
sharing video files, audio files and Text messages. These messages and files include
some useful data and also unwanted data and also spam data. There are some
complex methods involved in Online Social Network Management in order to control
this data.
Existing System:
For example, Facebook has a facility where users can specify who can message
them(eg: Friends, Friends of Friends options are provided in Facebook). But,
Facebook doesn t have a facility where users can block some kind of messages. No
content based preference is supported and there will be no control over unreliable
messages such as vulgar and political ones.
Proposed System: Proposed system includes facility to control unreliable messages
by using filtering rules. Here the user is given facility to block some kind of
messages from displaying on user s wall. Here web content mining techniques are
used in order to recognize patterns of words and also some filtering rules are applied
to filter given messages.
Data mining Techniques Involved: Filtering is one of the data mining technique s
which involves filtering text messages in order to avoid spam messages. In online
social networking users are given the ability to control their wall and the ability to
hide unwanted messages from displaying on their wall. Here users are given direct
control over their messages.

Abortion Should Not Be Illegal Essay
Abortion is widely debated across the world and in 1973 Roe v. Wade would start
an issue with ethical and legal issues. There are multiple cases arguing why it
should or shouldn t be lawful to go through with this procedure. Women should
have the right to get an abortion as It is her rights to decide if they aren t able to be
able have a child, the woman shouldn t have to rely on anyone else, she should be
able to make this decision as they have to carry it for 9 months and endure the
physical pain. Abortion should not be illegal because it is justifiable in cases of
rape, or when the woman has mental health or financial issues. In the case of rape,
it is unjustifiable to say that a woman has to carry a baby when she is forced into
intercourse with a man who the woman does not please. For those who say that
abortion is so inhumane, why doesn t one simply look at the act of rape as
disgusting as someone would look at abortion. The victim is going through enough
being forced without choice to have a child if she consumes, so why make her
carry the baby for 9 months knowing that the perpetrator has given her this child. I
don t think that the women should have to be mentally viable for this child or have
to take care of a child that is forced upon her own will. Having a child hurts very
much, why put a victim of rape through more pain then she has to endure? Abortion
isn t illegal in other countries for more serious issues why should America make it
illegal? Someone with mental

Communication Theory Essay The Rebound
The Rebound is a romantic comedy movie, which described about a single mum,
Sandy, discovered her husband s infidelity video, then she decided to divorced
with him, and moved to another city with her two kids so as to start over again.
She got an apartment that was above a coffee house. She met Aram; a guy who
only 25 years old and work in that coffee house, then they started befriends and knew
more each other. Not long after she was moving into the apartment and started hiring
Aram to be her nanny while she took on work for the first time. He started to have
an inseparable relationship with her children day by day; and have a chemistry effect
to ferment between Aram and Sandy. After that they became a couple and have a
sexual intimate interaction. Notwithstanding, two of them encountered many
difficulties; and the biggest concern was that they have an age difference of 15
years. At the end five years later, they broke the rules, ignored the age problem and
back together.
In this essay, I am going to use The Reboundmovie to go deeply in order to discuss

veterans should be able experience an easier transition and at least be provided with
easier access to care for possible psychological trauma and other behavioral needs.
Application to Social Welfare Policy
In relation to social welfare policy, if this bill passes, it could create a positive
change for veterans who would have more reassurance of living a more
comfortable lifestyle with more access to a variety of resources upon their return
to civilian life. As a student of Sociology and Social Work, addressing the concerns
of a growing population of people becomes more relevant to Social Worker s field
of work. It s our responsibility to address these concerns and begin to communicate
the problems with those who have the ability to help instill positive change into a
tangible reality rather than letting it remain a feasible idea. Additionally, if this bill
passes, those involved with social welfare policy could become more involved with
new programs provided to veterans, create additional networks between veterans and
social workers, improve communication and needs of
The Freedom to the Choice of Abortion
We all live our lives as we please all in accordance to the law, but when it comes to
abortion people start to judge and try to regulate how others live and interfere in
their personal choices. We live in a country based on freedoms, and women have and
should continue to have the freedom to the choice of an abortion. A woman s right to
choose abortion is a fundamental right recognized by the US Supreme Court. The
courts also have a category of classes called the near suspect classes, which include
gender. Gender deserves protection from possible discrimination at the hands of the
majority. Women constitute a majority of American s and have been discriminated in
the past. The Landmark case Roe v. Wadewas decided and remains the law of the
land. Making laws against abortions don t stop abortions from happening; they just
make it less safe, which in many cases leads to death. Therefore idea of supporting
pro life is contradictory, this is why the nation should be pro choice. No child should
be brought into this world where they are not wanted or are not able to live a
normal life. Most people who are against abortion will never even become pregnant,
so they should not be making laws against it. Pregnancy is a private and personal
matter. Outlawing abortion is discriminatory and unfortunately abortions are being
transformed from a right to a privilege for most women.
Abortion represents a woman s right to choose whether or not to continue a
pregnancy, and this is a
Benefits Of Eminent Domain
Eminent domain is the power that the government has to take private property for
public or private use. It is defined by the Fifth Amendment in the Constitution which
states the right of people to not be deprived of life liberty or property without due
process of the law . When the government uses eminent domain, they must pay a fair
price for the property taken, however, this leads to many disputes and issues. For
example, if a city wants to knock down an old neighborhood of houses to build new
condominiums, they need compensation. Without compensation, it is written in the
Constitution that it would be prohibited. Although Republicans will normally support
eminent domain if it is beneficial financially, they have and are trying to limit

(Economy Watch)
Every economy has their own characteristic. For free market is there are many
economic freedoms, there is competition among businesses, competition determines
price which increase the quality of the product, economic decisions are made by the
basic principles of supply and demand, and profit is the motive for increasing work
rather than quotas.
Mixed economy
Mixed economy is combination from planned and free market economy. This
economy system allows the private company use their capital. This economy system
allows the government to interfere to the market. The resources are allocated from
both the government and the private sector. In this system the freedom in the
economic activities are influenced by the Government s regulation and licensing
policies.
The example of the country that implemented this economy system is Iceland,
Sweden, France, and United Kingdom.
There are several advantages and disadvantages of the mixed economy system. The
advantages are most business and industry can be left to private firms. This is
because private firms tend to be more efficient than government controlled firms
because they have a profit incentive to cut costs and be innovative. Second is
government can pursue policies to provide macro economic stability.

Ecological Systems Theory
Urie Bronfenbrenner s Ecological Systems Theory is made up of several systems
that begin in one s childhood and expand to bigger and better things through
experience with adulthood. The first systems, being the micro and mesosystems, that
play a psychological role in our lives that help us control relationships. The
microsystem consists of the people or groups that an individual has direct contact
with. The mesosystem is created by the interactions between an individual s
microsystems (Bronfenbrenner, Urie, 1993). The micro and mesosystems work hand
in hand to keep the key people and relationships in each individual s life interacting

The English Bill of Rights was written in 1689 after both the English Civil War and
the Glorious Revolution. The English Civil War was caused by tension between
King Charles I and Parliament over power and money. The war started after people
in Parliament opposed the idea of Charles I being trusted with an army. So Charles
I and Parliament both raised armies and in the end Parliament won. This probably
influenced the English Bill of Rights in parts like where it says that in order for
there to be a standing army in times of peace Parliament has to allow it not the
King. The Glorious Revolution was the replacing of King James II with William III

A Reflection On My Participation In The Sociology Class
Reflection on My Participation What is participation? was the big question that we
had to answer in our very first essay in the sociology class. My first thoughts were,
Oh, participation basically means being engaged through talking and actions , but as I
gathered information to compose the essay and thought more deeply about the whole
concept, I was brought to a different light on what participationreally means. I
applied the new knowledge I gained and put all of my efforts into being an active
student in the class. As I reflect on the grade I feel I most deserve is a 3.1 out of 4
because I exert my best efforts to participate, but there are some components in my
performance that I know I need to improve and strengthen to make my participation

Since the beginning of the term, I have consistently been an active participant in the

as listen to student questions and discussions that elaborate the topic or provide new

better. I have also been engaged in the activities that were used to help us aprehend

South America is turning to the left this much is widely known. It is due to the
socialist ideas and values that are very old in the Latin American culture. They can be
found, according to Hugo ChГЎvez, in biblical texts, in the Gospel, and in the
practices of our indigenous peoples. The Bolivarian Revolution that started in
Venezuelaunder the presidency of Hugo ChГЎvez has reignited debate in Latin
America and internationally on the questions of socialism and revolution introducing
the reflections on class struggle, neoliberalism, counter power, revolutionary parties,
community and communes, economy, politics, society, race and the hopes, and
prospects of what is called Socialism 21st Century in contemporary South America.
Neoliberalism is the deregulation and expansion of the market economy, it includes
eliminating barriers to trade such as tariffs and government subsidies of national
industry, and implementing national policies that favor the needs of business and
investment ( Is Capitalism a good ). This in turn causes a loss in state revenue, which
means a loss in the amount of funding available for social welfare programs.
Neoliberalism became dominant in Latin America, especially in the 1990s, because
of the debt crisis, the availability of highly educated technocrats, a new middle class
of entrepreneurs, the failure of import substitution industrialization, and public
support. Most Latin American
Aeneid Women
Women of The Aeneid
The Aeneid a beautifully epic poem written by Virgil. This epic tale consists of a
Trojan warrior Aeneas go through trials and tribulations of fate. Though many of his
problems consist of women who have loved and loathed him in his life. These women
nonetheless have made his founding of Rome come true. Every woman in this story
has contributed to Aeneas s destiny and character.
Minerva is first shown in the second book of The Aeneid. Aeneas is going back to the
war and is describing what lead them to bring in the horse. He recounts of a Trojan
boy named Sinon. Sinon goes on to say that the hose is a gift for the goddess
Minerva. That she has turned her backs on the Greeks because of Ulysses
destruction of a temple. Now this horse will appease Minerva and bring them
victory among the war with Greece. A priestess not believing the man decides to try
to puncture it with a spear. From this action Laocoon and his two sons are soon eaten
by two serpents that have come from the ocean. The serpents then slither to the
Minerva shrine. Thus, giving the trojans enough evidence to bring in the horse. By
Bringing Minerva into the lie of the gift, they ultimately started the destruction of
Troy. Minerva influenced these men to accept this gift and ultimately brings Troy s
down fall and brings Aeneas to flee with his family. This woman influenced the
beginning of Aeneas s travels and the eventual discovery of Rome. In the beginning
of our story we are introduced to

PART I
INTRODUCTION:
The Old Testament is the first part of the Holy Bible. Together with the New
Testament, it forms the scripture that are sacred to Christians. Jews accept only the
old Testament emphasizing the idea of covenant between God and His people, and
contains a record of their history to show how faithfully they observed this covenant.
As a cultural treasure, the Old Testament is one of the most important source we have
for knowledge of the past.
Jews divide the Old Testament into three main sections called THE LAW, THE
PROPHET and THE WRITINGS. THE LAW consists of the books of Genesis,
Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deutronomy and in this section, we can ... Show more

Since children were important to carry on the family name, a childless wife might
allow her husband to have children by her slave. This was legal in Old Testament.
It was practised by Abraham and Sarah and even by Rachel and Jacob.3 The wife
gives her maid to her husband on special ocassions. It is difficult to give a name to
the status of the maid in such relationship. She is secondary rather than a second
wife, though if the husband continued to have relations with her, she would have the
position of a concubine.
RULES OF ACQUIRING WIVES FOR PRIEST:
Priest are holy to their God so they must keep themselves pure and clean in all
respects. According to the book of Leviticus chapter 21:

(b) They must not marry a divorced woman.
(c) They must marry a virgin woman.
(d) They must not marry a widow
(e) They must marry his own people so that they may not defile thier offspring among
thier people.
THE IMPORTANCE OF VIRGINITY FOR MARRIAGE:
In the book of Duetronomy chapter 22, a rules or laws of incurring fine to a
husband for wrongly bringing bad name to a wife is recorded. It says If a man
takes a wife and, after lying with her, dislikes her and slanders her and gives her a
bad name, saying, I married this woman, but when I approached her, I did not find
proof of her virginity, then the girl s father and mother shall bring proof that she was

The Challenges Of Teaching English As A Second Language
Introduction: Traveling to another country to take a course which would certify
me to teach English as a second language is something I did not picture myself
doing. I always knew I wanted to work with students, but I was never certain as to
what career path I would take. Working with international students who were eager
to learn English helped me make my decision to teach English. Taking this course
has shown me that I have the ability to teach English. Throughout the course I saw
that it is not an easy task. There are many challenges that come with teaching
English, but I am ready to face these challenges. What is a good teacher? Knowing
that teaching English is going to be a challenge, a good teacher to me would be
someone who knows that although teaching requires lots of work, they are still
willing to teach. Being an English teacher or a teacher in general is not something
that you learn from one day to another. Teaching takes time, and even being a teacher
you learn something new every day whether it is from your colleagues or your
students. A good teacher knowing their position still is open to learning new things
even if they are already trained. As time goes by there are new things implemented in
the school system, so that means teaching techniques might change. One has to be
willing to imply these changes and do whatever they can to provide the best learning
environment they can for their students. A good teacher will make sure that students
feel comfortable in

Of these sources, most are also found in medicine journals. These journal sources
are reliable, and accurate, except for some population and statistics data. The
accuracy of statistics and population are not entirely accurate due to rising
populations and changing laws in the countries mentioned. Scope of analysis This
article will cover various topics on the castration of sexual offenders across the
globe and what some countries are discussing as treatment or punishment options.
The history of the use of castration for the purpose of treating sexual offences dates
back less than a century. Also covered, will be the drawbacks and the comparison
to the positive effects of using surgical verses chemical castration. Although it is not
a particularly old practice, several tests have been performed with some surprising
results. One particular test in Korea provides a large amount of statistical data,
showing some of the various side effects and averaged results of treatment. From this
test, many points and conclusions can be drawn. Other sources provide more data
that backs up these findings, and provides many of their own findings such as the
side effects and large cost of some treatment

The Effect of High Light Wavelengths on Pollen Tube Growth on Impatiens
walleriana
Introduction
Flower reproduction is highly influenced by various environmental factors including
external temperature, moisture, and light. Each needs to be at a desired level for the
flower to contain mature, viable pollen. Pollen grains, being one of the most
important factors of the flower s ability to reproduce, need all these factors as well to
become viable.
Solar radiation has become an expanding factor over the years caused by increased
weather climates and in turn causes reductions of the ozone layer in the atmosphere
[6]. Most researchers have been correlating this growing trend with agricultural
vegetation success, damaging their vital tissues for ... Show more content on

Made with all data obtained with each treatment using R program. Red light seemed
to have a higher mean length but the standard error of flashlight could have made an
impact on their mean length values, which could easily overcome red light. There is
a statistically significant difference between red and blue light. (n=30; un paired t
test: P=7.79E 08). (Outliers red 583um, 549um).
It can be concluded that the flower treated with red light wavelength of 620 to 750
nm had similar mean lengths of pollen tube elongation as the positive influence of
flashlight treated flower with a production of all wavelengths. Contrastingly the blue
wavelength of 450 to 495 nm had a smaller mean tube length compared to both
flashlight and red light while still being longer than the negative influence of sunlight.
Analysis:
In order to determine the correlation of the pollen tube length means collected from
all four groups of data, a one way ANOVA test was performed. The results only
showed a significant difference towards red and blue treated pollen with a p value
of P=7.79E 08 (one way ANOVA). Based on this data, the red illuminated flower
produced longer pollen tubes, and since the means can be considered unequal from
one way ANOVA and there is a significant difference between red and blue tube
lengths, our hypothesis is supported that a higher wavelength of light is beneficial for
flower reproduction enhancing pollen tube
Methods Of Optimization Clustering
Optimization clustering As one of the most popular and widely used data mining
techniques, cluster analysis is mainly divided into hierarchical clustering and
partitional clustering, which are carried out in a supervised or unsupervised way to
separate data into different groups based on similar characteristics. Both the
hierarchical and partitional clustering have advantages and drawbacks. Especially, the
efficiency and accuracy are the primary challenges that clustering analysis has to
face. For example, the most efficient algorithm of hierarchical clustering is complete
linkage clustering in some special cases, the complexity of which is Оџ (n2).
Therefore, the hierarchical clustering usually leads to too slow efficiency for large
data... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
First of all, a new idea of using PSO for k means clustering technique is presented
by Vander Merwe and Engelbrecht. Different from traditional k means clustering,
which starts with multiple solutions to the problem, the new approach specifies a
fixed number of particles as a swarm, each of which representing the centroids of all
clusters. A new set of better solutions is generated after a successive iterations based
on previous solutions. As the first proposed method using PSO based on clustering, it
does not improve the efficiency of execution time, while this method provides a new
way to optimize clustering. Secondly, Omran propose Dynamic Clustering (DCPSO)
algorithm based on binary PSO combining with k means clustering. In this approach,
PSO is used for clustering the data while k means is used to refine the clustering
solution. At first, the number of clusters is determined automatically and the data sets
are clustered based on minimal user interference. In order to decrease the effects of
initial conditions, a relatively large number of clusters are generated firstly. Then the
number of clusters is optimized by binary particle swarm optimization, while K
means clustering algorithm is used to select the centroids. Both synthetic and natural
images are used to test the approach, which show that the optimum number of
clusters are generally founded on the tested images.
Charles Spearman s Model of Intelligence and Howard...
Charles Spearman s model of intelligence and Howard Gardner s multiple intelligence
theory are two of the most widely used theories of intelligence. In order to understand
how similar the two theories are we must first understand their differences. These two
men differed in opinion on how IQ and intelligence should be measured, and they
differed in opinion on what made a person smart . In order to examine these things
they first had to understand the human brain and how it works. They had to examine
the human study habits and rituals, along with the human test taking habits.
Spearman thought that if all mental tests are mutually related then there is some
common factor that causes this. Spearman developed a statistical method called...

Howard Gardner developed the Multiple intelligence theory. Gardner believed that the
human mind did not have one general intelligence but many that had independent
functions. He believed that the previous measure of intelligence did not accurately
measure the capability of the human mind. While formulating this theory, Gardner
placed less emphasis on explaining the results of mental tests than on accounting for
the range of human abilities that exist across a vast majority of cultures.
(www.associatedcontent.com) Gardner examined many subjects to decide upon the
seven intelligences in his Multiple theories of Intelligence. Gardner finally
concluded that intelligent behavior does not come from one single quality of the
mind. He believed that different intelligences are generated from different
metaphorical pools of mental energy, and that these pools enable people to solve
problems or create products that are valued within one or more cultural settings. He
came up with this concept from his experiences working with members of different
populations where certain cognitive abilities are apparent even in the absence of
basic abilities. For example, when an autistic person is a genius at math and lacks
the ability to tie his shoes. Gardner s theory consisted of seven intelligences the first
is linguistic ability, which enables us to read, write, and speak well. The second is
logical/ mathematical ability which

  • 1. Analytical Essay Definition Writing an essay on the topic "Analytical Essay Definition" can be both challenging and rewarding. The difficulty lies in the need for a comprehensive understanding of the concept and the ability to articulate thoughts in a clear and analytical manner. Crafting an analytical essay requires not only a deep understanding of the topic but also the skill to critically examine and analyze information, drawing insightful conclusions. To start with, defining the term "analytical essay" itself poses a challenge. It's not just about providing a dictionary definition but delving into the nuances of the genre. Analytical essays require a thoughtful approach to dissecting a subject, breaking it down into its components, and examining how these parts relate to each other. This necessitates a keen analytical mindset and the capability to think critically about the topic. Furthermore, one must be adept at organizing thoughts logically, ensuring a coherent flow of ideas throughout the essay. Effective communication of arguments and evidence is crucial for making a persuasive case. Balancing the use of evidence, quotations, and personal insights without losing the thread of the analysis adds another layer of complexity. Additionally, crafting a compelling introduction and conclusion that encapsulate the essence of the analytical essay is a skill that demands practice and refinement. The introduction should grab the reader's attention and provide a roadmap for the analysis, while the conclusion should summarize key points and leave a lasting impression. In essence, the difficulty in writing an essay on the analytical essay definition lies in the multifaceted nature of the task. • 2. Southern Gothic Literature Research Paper Southern gothic literature is partly inspired by gothic literature. Southern gothic literature is a southern genre where the story is focused around gruesome or dreary ideas. The characters are also normally damaged, delusional or mentally ill. In the two short stories, A Rose for Emily and A Good Man is Hard to Find both have elements of southern gothicliterature. In A Good Man is Hard to Find , one example of southern gothic literature is when the family is on their trip and they drive by their old plantation s family graveyard, and it had six graves, which was the same amount of people sitting in the car. The six graves show that each family member will soon pass away. Another example of southern gothic literature that is seen in the short story was The Misfit . The misfit was seen as a murderer and horrific. He was blamed for killing his own father but claimed that he was innocent. ( It was a head doctor who said what I had done was kill my daddy but I known that for a lie. My daddy died in nineteen ought nineteen of the epidemic flu and I never had a thing to do with it. • 4. Representation Of Male Chicano Identity In Zoot Suit Explore the representation of male Chicano identity as seen in Zoot Suit. Zoot Suit, (1981) is an adaptation to film of the Broadway show by Chicano writer /director Luis Valdez, and the film helped cement Valdez place as one of, if not the most important figureheads within Chicano film. The picture depicts whilst also questioning media documentation of the real life Sleepy Lagoon trial of young male Mexican Americans born out of the Zoot Suit riots in 1942. Managing Objectives Of Building Risk Management The myriad reform and regulation activities (pay for performance, accountable care organizations, physician hospital alignment) can be overwhelming. These new regulations have associated risks of these activities that will impact an organization s strategic planning. As a result, many boards and executive teams are taking steps to improve the effectiveness of their risk managementand riskgovernance efforts as these new risks emerge. One of the greatest challenges they face is the ability to make risk intelligent decisions for today, and for the future, without really comprehending the new universe of risks in their changing environment. Making risk intelligent decisions requires an integrated, customized approach elements (Deloitte). Considerations in building risk management strategies Compliance with regulations is one of the largest risks that the health care industry faces. Because the external environment cannot be controlled, companies will need to control internal environments and operations to reduce their risk. • 7. Realism And The Setting Of The Great Gatsby By F. Scott... In any of the play or the drama written by any author or narrated by a narrator, certain factors are affecting the nature and the story line of the play being written or narrated. The mind of the author or a narrator is just like a glass house (Harold Bloom). Whichever light falls on it; it is illuminated by that color glowing in that particular manner. In the critical evaluation of any story or play, the thing to be understood that holds immense importance is the realism and the setting. Realism and the setting can be literary defined as the social environment around the author or the narrator that carves the words out of his mind and ideas out of his heart. It is always seen that the circumstance and surroundings impart a very strong color on the story line and characters. Any story line is built around a plot or an axis. For an author or narrator, nature or surrounding is the biggest gift that seeds the idea in his mind that is further nourished by his words and fed by his pen, and the end fruit is passed to the audience to enjoy and cherish the sweetness and taste of it. This simply means that surrounding hold immense importance for the play as it is the one causing the inception and it is the one causing the completion tinging it with its flavor and taste. Sometimes it has been seen that the movements or scenarios going around in the country make the writer write something. Sometimes it s the sense of patriotism due to problems in the countries. First, diagnostic imaging is a fundamental element of clinical examination of the wrist and hand for possible injury or trauma. • 9. An Analysis Of Peter Pan, By J. M. Golding s I Die... J. M. Barrie, the author of Peter Pan, said: To die would be an awfully big adventure. I believe it would be. I have had many experiences with almost dying. I have had many experiences where my life had flashed before my eyes. April 4th, 2014, I almost died 27 times. On that date, I looked death right in the face, and laughed at it. In the summer, I was supposed to go to a girls camp for my church. There were a few requirements we had to pass off before going. One of them was a 3 mile hike and a camping trip. We decided to hit 2 birds with 1 stone. So we set a date to go camping with the girls who were going to camp. There were about 16 girls who decided they would go. We set off on our 1 night trip on April 4th, 2014. It started off normal. A regular trail through the woods. The path started to get thinner and thinner as we walked on it. We then got to a part where we had to go over a log that was partly hanging over a chasm. I peered over the edge to see thousands of sharp rocks and a large pool of rushing water. After 3 girls had gone over the log safely, it was my turn. I slowly put my right leg over the enormous log. I had made sure to steady myself before putting my left leg over. After I had done so, I threw my left leg over and sat on the log. Then I put my right foot on the ground. I thought I was safe, but my left foot s, shoelace got caught on the rugged wood. I pulled with force, but that was a bad idea. I got it undone, but that force threw me off balance

These revelations weren t quite as surprising to many experts in the field of cryptography and internet security, especially in the post 9/11 era, as the unprecedented amount of power granted to the federal government in the wake of those attacks, in the form of the Patriot Act, has given rise to warrantless wiretapping and blanket surveillancetactics that are used in the fight against domestic terrorism. As you can see, this is where the story initially outlines the social justice chart (target, ally, bystander, and perpetrator). It shows us that Marcus is the target as he is the person on the receiving end of the imposed prejudice and that the DHS is the key perpetrator as it is the government organization that is imposing prejudice/bias towards a group of people. Although it is hard to notice, we can also find that the rules/laws that Marcus recites act as an ally because it attempts to interrupt the prejudice/bias being imposed. However, Marcus s role slightly changes when the DHS captures Darryl, a good friend of Marcus, gets held for further

One could pick the show in mid season and still be able to understand the plot and identify the characters. Newman and Levine stated, Television has been classified as feminine, and thereby as a less worthy, significant, and serious medium, has been a fact of its history (11) . This theory can also be applied to Homeland because the story and its characters make the show to be very easy to follow and digest. One neither has to be fully paying attention to the television set nor has to start watching the show from the very beginning. The show s thematic is something that almost every American can relate to and is aware of. The characters as well are extremely easy to identify because they are regular people with problems, emotions, and addictions. Contrary to extremely sophisticated productions like Game of Thrones, House of Cards and Downton Abbey, where the audienceneeds to stop performing any other activity and deeply submerge in the show; this Homeland aims to engage a larger audience that in many cases is not necessarily educated. Homeland s patriotic theme allows audiences to generate an opinion based on prejudice, hate and ignorance. Clutter in the homes of people with hoarding problems is extremely disorganized resulting in unhealthy and hazardous living conditions. Most people think of the holy land when they hear the names Israel but one must ask the question is Israel truly the holy land. This essay will show the relationship between religion and Israel. As recent findings have shown, about half (51%) see themselves as non religious , one third 32% opt for a traditional category, one tenth, or 11%, perceive themselves as religious , and a small minority of 6% choose the label of ultra Orthodox . The ultra Orthodox (who represent approximately 7 7.5% of the population) tend to be underrepresented in survey samples as they generally avoid being interviewed (especially the women). Accounting for this, each of the other categories should be estimated by half a percentage (Ben Rafael, 2008). According to Ben Rafael (2008), it is widely acknowledged that tensions between secular and religious sectors constitute a salient feature of Israeli society. This aspect is endemic to the very nature of institutional developments: in spite of prevailing secular attitudes toward the social order, religion imprints itself in human motivations and values, incessantly raising the question of the relationship between the new, the old, and the desirable. Hence, attitudes toward religion are a major factor of cultural pluralization pointing to cleavages and confrontations. The consideration of approaches to religion, partly originating from pre modern traditions, is congruent with Eisenstaedt s (2003) assessment of contemporary global

The most peace and joy filled period in the Wang familyexistence comes when they are just wealthy enough to have everything they need. But this interval does not last long. Around our house, we refer to these types of dogs as stuck in the teenage years. Winnie types are unpredictable sleepers, needing to find the perfect position (often achieved by circling multiple times over all of the papers you are working on just to get as close to you as possible before falling asleep), needing to be untouched, and needing near silence to fall asleep. However in contrast to the Annie type dogs, Winnie dogs can sleep through it all (that is after ruining all of your homework and falling asleep so close to you that you cannot manage to move your elbow enough to even rewrite your English assignment). The benefit of their deep sleep, however, is it gives you a chance to tell them your problems. They listen well, and their serene expression, really does give the perfect answer to dilemmas, quite often. Winnie dogs are goofs, but loving, goofs. Keep in mind that i m talking about competitive dance, not just a couple classes throughout the week. To do this a road map for the establishment of the new organization would be created citing the specific activities and events that had to occur. After the establishment of the road map, planning a method for commitment to the organization s development would be done. Once the commitment is established, structures to manage the change would need to be created. This would involve looking for people who have the power to mobilize resources and promote change and of course, people who were willing to stay the course during the rough times that often occur when change is happening. • 32. Abortion Should Not Be Illegal Essay Abortion is widely debated across the world and in 1973 Roe v. Wade would start an issue with ethical and legal issues. There are multiple cases arguing why it should or shouldn t be lawful to go through with this procedure. Women should have the right to get an abortion as It is her rights to decide if they aren t able to be able have a child, the woman shouldn t have to rely on anyone else, she should be able to make this decision as they have to carry it for 9 months and endure the physical pain. Abortion should not be illegal because it is justifiable in cases of rape, or when the woman has mental health or financial issues. In the case of rape, it is unjustifiable to say that a woman has to carry a baby when she is forced into intercourse with a man who the woman does not please. For those who say that abortion is so inhumane, why doesn t one simply look at the act of rape as disgusting as someone would look at abortion. The victim is going through enough being forced without choice to have a child if she consumes, so why make her carry the baby for 9 months knowing that the perpetrator has given her this child. I don t think that the women should have to be mentally viable for this child or have to take care of a child that is forced upon her own will. Having a child hurts very much, why put a victim of rape through more pain then she has to endure? Abortion isn t illegal in other countries for more serious issues why should America make it illegal? Someone with mental

The Freedom to the Choice of Abortion We all live our lives as we please all in accordance to the law, but when it comes to abortion people start to judge and try to regulate how others live and interfere in their personal choices. We live in a country based on freedoms, and women have and should continue to have the freedom to the choice of an abortion. A woman s right to choose abortion is a fundamental right recognized by the US Supreme Court. The courts also have a category of classes called the near suspect classes, which include gender. Gender deserves protection from possible discrimination at the hands of the majority. Women constitute a majority of American s and have been discriminated in the past. The Landmark case Roe v. No child should be brought into this world where they are not wanted or are not able to live a normal life. Most people who are against abortion will never even become pregnant, so they should not be making laws against it. Pregnancy is a private and personal matter. His body felt heavy, too heavy, to even bend down to reach his gun; this was his only chance, and he had to execute it

Ecological Systems Theory Urie Bronfenbrenner s Ecological Systems Theory is made up of several systems that begin in one s childhood and expand to bigger and better things through experience with adulthood. The first systems, being the micro and mesosystems, that play a psychological role in our lives that help us control relationships. The microsystem consists of the people or groups that an individual has direct contact with. The mesosystem is created by the interactions between an individual s microsystems (Bronfenbrenner, Urie, 1993). The micro and mesosystems work hand in hand to keep the key people and relationships in each individual s life interacting to produce a stable environment. The English Civil War was caused by tension between King Charles I and Parliament over power and money. The war started after people in Parliament opposed the idea of Charles I being trusted with an army. So Charles I and Parliament both raised armies and in the end Parliament won. This probably influenced the English Bill of Rights in parts like where it says that in order for there to be a standing army in times of peace Parliament has to allow it not the King. The Glorious Revolution was the replacing of King James II with William III and Mary of Orange because of James II dissolved Parliament and made many religious changes including

A Reflection On My Participation In The Sociology Class Reflection on My Participation What is participation? was the big question that we had to answer in our very first essay in the sociology class. My first thoughts were, Oh, participation basically means being engaged through talking and actions , but as I gathered information to compose the essay and thought more deeply about the whole concept, I was brought to a different light on what participationreally means. I applied the new knowledge I gained and put all of my efforts into being an active student in the class. As I reflect on the grade I feel I most deserve is a 3.1 out of 4 because I exert my best efforts to participate, but there are some components in my performance that I know I need to improve and strengthen to make my participation be the best in its abilities. Since the beginning of the term, I have consistently been an active participant in the classroom as well as outside of the classroom. My participation in class involves me being mentally and physically engaged with the material such as the lectures, discussions, activities and readings. With the lectures and discussions, I use my listening skills to try to understand the concepts that we are learning in class as well as listen to student questions and discussions that elaborate the topic or provide new insights. I also take notes of the lecture to help me soak in the knowledge a little bit better. I have also been engaged in the activities that were used to help us aprehend the topic that was

It is due to the socialist ideas and values that are very old in the Latin American culture. They can be found, according to Hugo ChГЎvez, in biblical texts, in the Gospel, and in the practices of our indigenous peoples. The Bolivarian Revolution that started in Venezuelaunder the presidency of Hugo ChГЎvez has reignited debate in Latin America and internationally on the questions of socialism and revolution introducing the reflections on class struggle, neoliberalism, counter power, revolutionary parties, community and communes, economy, politics, society, race and the hopes, and prospects of what is called Socialism 21st Century in contemporary South America. Neoliberalism is the deregulation and expansion of the market economy, it includes eliminating barriers to trade such as tariffs and government subsidies of national industry, and implementing national policies that favor the needs of business and investment ( Is Capitalism a good ). This in turn causes a loss in state revenue, which means a loss in the amount of funding available for social welfare programs. Neoliberalism became dominant in Latin America, especially in the 1990s, because of the debt crisis, the availability of highly educated technocrats, a new middle class of entrepreneurs, the failure of import substitution industrialization, and public support. Every woman in this story has contributed to Aeneas s destiny and character. Minerva is first shown in the second book of The Aeneid. Aeneas is going back to the war and is describing what lead them to bring in the horse. He recounts of a Trojan boy named Sinon. Sinon goes on to say that the hose is a gift for the goddess Minerva. That she has turned her backs on the Greeks because of Ulysses destruction of a temple. Now this horse will appease Minerva and bring them victory among the war with Greece. A priestess not believing the man decides to try to puncture it with a spear. From this action Laocoon and his two sons are soon eaten by two serpents that have come from the ocean. The serpents then slither to the Minerva shrine. Thus, giving the trojans enough evidence to bring in the horse. The Challenges Of Teaching English As A Second Language Introduction: Traveling to another country to take a course which would certify me to teach English as a second language is something I did not picture myself doing. I always knew I wanted to work with students, but I was never certain as to what career path I would take. Working with international students who were eager to learn English helped me make my decision to teach English. Taking this course has shown me that I have the ability to teach English. Throughout the course I saw that it is not an easy task. There are many challenges that come with teaching English, but I am ready to face these challenges. What is a good teacher? Knowing that teaching English is going to be a challenge, a good teacher to me would be someone who knows that although teaching requires lots of work, they are still willing to teach. Being an English teacher or a teacher in general is not something that you learn from one day to another. Teaching takes time, and even being a teacher you learn something new every day whether it is from your colleagues or your students. A good teacher knowing their position still is open to learning new things even if they are already trained. As time goes by there are new things implemented in the school system, so that means teaching techniques might change. One has to be willing to imply these changes and do whatever they can to provide the best learning environment they can for their students. A good teacher will make sure that students feel comfortable in

Pollen grains, being one of the most important factors of the flower s ability to reproduce, need all these factors as well to become viable. Solar radiation has become an expanding factor over the years caused by increased weather climates and in turn causes reductions of the ozone layer in the atmosphere [6]. Made with all data obtained with each treatment using R program. Red light seemed to have a higher mean length but the standard error of flashlight could have made an impact on their mean length values, which could easily overcome red light. There is a statistically significant difference between red and blue light. (n=30; un paired t test: P=7.79E 08). (Outliers red 583um, 549um). It can be concluded that the flower treated with red light wavelength of 620 to 750 nm had similar mean lengths of pollen tube elongation as the positive influence of flashlight treated flower with a production of all wavelengths. Contrastingly the blue wavelength of 450 to 495 nm had a smaller mean tube length compared to both flashlight and red light while still being longer than the negative influence of sunlight. Analysis: In order to determine the correlation of the pollen tube length means collected from all four groups of data, a one way ANOVA test was performed. The results only showed a significant difference towards red and blue treated pollen with a p value of P=7.79E 08 (one way ANOVA). Based on this data, the red illuminated flower produced longer pollen tubes, and since the means can be considered unequal from one way ANOVA and there is a significant difference between red and blue tube lengths, our hypothesis is supported that a higher wavelength of light is beneficial for flower reproduction enhancing pollen tube
  • 51. Methods Of Optimization Clustering Optimization clustering As one of the most popular and widely used data mining techniques, cluster analysis is mainly divided into hierarchical clustering and partitional clustering, which are carried out in a supervised or unsupervised way to separate data into different groups based on similar characteristics. Both the hierarchical and partitional clustering have advantages and drawbacks. Especially, the efficiency and accuracy are the primary challenges that clustering analysis has to face. For example, the most efficient algorithm of hierarchical clustering is complete linkage clustering in some special cases, the complexity of which is Оџ (n2). Therefore, the hierarchical clustering usually leads to too slow efficiency for large data... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... First of all, a new idea of using PSO for k means clustering technique is presented by Vander Merwe and Engelbrecht. Different from traditional k means clustering, which starts with multiple solutions to the problem, the new approach specifies a fixed number of particles as a swarm, each of which representing the centroids of all clusters. A new set of better solutions is generated after a successive iterations based on previous solutions. As the first proposed method using PSO based on clustering, it does not improve the efficiency of execution time, while this method provides a new way to optimize clustering. Secondly, Omran propose Dynamic Clustering (DCPSO) algorithm based on binary PSO combining with k means clustering. In this approach, PSO is used for clustering the data while k means is used to refine the clustering solution. At first, the number of clusters is determined automatically and the data sets are clustered based on minimal user interference. In order to decrease the effects of initial conditions, a relatively large number of clusters are generated firstly. Then the number of clusters is optimized by binary particle swarm optimization, while K means clustering algorithm is used to select the centroids. Both synthetic and natural images are used to test the approach, which show that the optimum number of clusters are generally founded on the tested images.

Charles Spearman s model of intelligence and Howard Gardner s multiple intelligence theory are two of the most widely used theories of intelligence. In order to understand how similar the two theories are we must first understand their differences. These two men differed in opinion on how IQ and intelligence should be measured, and they differed in opinion on what made a person smart . In order to examine these things they first had to understand the human brain and how it works. They had to examine the human study habits and rituals, along with the human test taking habits. Spearman thought that if all mental tests are mutually related then there is some common factor that causes this. Spearman developed a statistical method called... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Howard Gardner developed the Multiple intelligence theory. Gardner believed that the human mind did not have one general intelligence but many that had independent functions. He believed that the previous measure of intelligence did not accurately measure the capability of the human mind. While formulating this theory, Gardner placed less emphasis on explaining the results of mental tests than on accounting for the range of human abilities that exist across a vast majority of cultures. (www.associatedcontent.com) Gardner examined many subjects to decide upon the seven intelligences in his Multiple theories of Intelligence. Gardner finally concluded that intelligent behavior does not come from one single quality of the mind. He believed that different intelligences are generated from different metaphorical pools of mental energy, and that these pools enable people to solve problems or create products that are valued within one or more cultural settings. He came up with this concept from his experiences working with members of different populations where certain cognitive abilities are apparent even in the absence of basic abilities. For example, when an autistic person is a genius at math and lacks the ability to tie his shoes. Gardner s theory consisted of seven intelligences the first is linguistic ability, which enables us to read, write, and speak well. The second is logical/ mathematical ability which
