The Consecution Of Christians In The Redemption Of Peter
The persecution of the Church affected a lot in the family life of Christians. Emperor Nero did the
first heinous persecution of Christians. In one of movies The redemption of Peter shows few
glimpses of this persecution. Families with children, women and old parents were sent to the
unbelievable torture containing loud and painful screams as being Christians, were heard being
tortured but they did not deny their faith. The Emperor says he wants to burn Christians, so he can
have light for his garden; Emperor s wife says, Kill them all! . In one of the prison s scene, soldier
shares his concern with another soldier while guarding prison that poor children did nothing wrong
but are suffering with their parents. Children were humiliated with their families. (P162
Macculcah): In third century, Perpetua (martyr) embraced Christianity. She knew the result of it,
will be death. Her father did his best not to declare herself as Christian for the sake of his grey hair,
for her son, brother and family. She asked her father, do you see the vase, or whatever you want to
call it, can you call it by another name than what it is? He said, No, you can t. So, I cannot call
myself anything other what I am a Christian. She disobeyed her father. Her concern for her
brother for whom she prayed in vision, her attachment for her son and family was remarkable. She
had a hard choice to be a martyr or a good mother. For the sake of her faith she sacrificed her family

Essay On Chocolate Labour In West Africa
Do you enjoy eating chocolate? Many people around the world love eating chocolate. People in
the United States eat around 120 chocolate bars each year. But would you still enjoy eating that
chocolate bar if you knew that the chocolate that is used to make those delicious bars comes from
the forced labor of young children? Chocolate is made from cacao beans that grow in tropical
places like West Africa. The countries in West Africasupply more than 70 percent of the world s
cocoa. They sell the cocoa they grow and harvest to many of the chocolate companies who make
our chocolate candy bars. In recent years, news reporters, as well as human rights organizations
around the world, have discovered that there is widespread child slaveryfor growing and harvesting
cocoa beans on cocoa farms in West Africa. As chocolate has gotten more popular around the
world, so has the demand for cheap cocoa. Many cocoa farmers earn less than $2 per day. To help
keep the cost of cocoa low, they use children as workers. The children living in West Africa are
very poor. Some of these children go to work on cocoa farms because their desperately poor
families need them to earn money. Other children are taken against their will from small
villages and sold to cocoa farm owners. These children work 80 to 100 hours a week. They are not
paid. They do not go to school. They are often beaten if they try to escape. Most of these children
are between the ages of 11 and 16, but some people have seen

Our Sheep System Will Be Composed Of Rambouillet And...
Our sheep system will be comprised of Rambouillet and Columbia sheep. Our vision at Wooly
Bully farms is to be a self sustaining and environmentally friendly company for our consumers,
employees, and animals. Our mission here at Wooly Bully is to implement a sustainable system in
order to provide our clients with high grade fiber, sustainable replacement ewes, and quality grade
meat.
The Rambouillet was chosen over other breeds, due to the breed s ability to do well in; range
conditions, large size, use as a dual purpose breed, and fine wool they are known for. The
rambouillet originates from Spanish merinos which were sent to France to help improve herds in
the country. The spanish government was extremely strict on the exportation of their merinos. This
all changed in 1786 when the King allowed for 359 animals to be sent to a Rambouillet farm
outside of Paris. The fall of the Spanish empire helped get more of the spanish merino bloodlines
outside of Spain. The breed was created through careful selection of fleece characteristics to
maintain a breed with fine wool. Along with maintaining fine wool the breed gained body size
and conformation, which was rare for breeds not producing mutton (American Rambouillet Sheep
Breeders Association). Some of the French animals were sent to Germany where Rambouillet
rams were used in many of flocks as the breeds fame as a fine wooled breed spread. Many of the
animals can have their ancestry traced back to the animal from the German von

Antisemitism The Holocaust
The Holocaust started because of ingrained antisemitism both in Germany and the countries it
conquered, compounded by propaganda and the encouragement and leadership of political leaders.
It also started because the passive and active perpetrators held deep animosity towards the Jewish
people ingrained by almost 2000 years of antisemitism in Christian teachings‚ which made them
receptive to the message of the Nazis, and which made the idea of eliminating and exterminating
Jewsreasonable and indeed desirable.
The Holocaust was undertaken by Adolph Hitler to extinguish an entire race, the Jewish People.
Similarly, for the past five years, four million Syrian refugees have been displaced and in need of
new residential areas while more than 11.6 million people have been affected by the civil war in
Syria. Like in the Holocaust, the Roma, physically and mentally disabled, communists and
homosexuals were targeted; not just the Jewish population. Both events demonstrate the inhumanity
of our times where a piece of paper with a stamp on it is the difference between life and death. ...

Prior to his upbringing and continuing, anti Semitism propaganda was abundant in production.
Nonetheless, Hitler established a Reich Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda headed
by Joseph Goebbels. The Ministry s aim was to ensure the Nazi s anti semitic message was
successfully spread through any mode of communication. The propaganda reignited the resentment
and underlying hatred inside every German through the exploitation of anti semetic myths
entrenched in the European culture for generations. Propaganda also encouraged passivity and
acceptance of the impending measures against Jews, as these appeared to depict the Nazi

Essay On Female Oppression In The Yellow Wallpaper
The Yellow Wallpaper : The Epidemic of Female Oppression
Neurasthenia is a medical condition characterized by lassitude, fatigue, headache, and irritability,
associated chiefly with emotional disturbance. The disorder can cause tiredness, fatigue, and
extreme stress or anxiety leading to oppression of a being. Oppression causes the separation of
oneself from society due to large amounts of anxiety. In the story The Yellow Wallpaper, the
protagonist is suffering from an illness that is said to be cured by her moving away from society
and living in the country for a few months with her husband. The short story is written by a
nineteenth century feminist Charlotte Perkins Gilman, who relates to the protagonist because she

She doesn t say how old the child is but still addresses it as a baby, but being separated from the
baby is ideal especially due to her illness. Her being placed in an old nursery often will give her
thoughts on how she wants to hold the baby and how she misses her child. All of the action and
suspense of the story arises within the four walls of the narrator s bedroom, a former nursery
and playroom with bars on its window (Miskolcze 3). This can be showing that women are
forced to take care of children and that s all they can do. The irony of her being placed in a
nursery shows that women are always taking care of something in the nursey. The nursery is
described much like a prison with bars on the windows and the bed is also nailed to the ground
and impossible to move. The narrator spends most of her time in this room because she is
usually in bed and this is a big cause for her breakdown due to the ugly wall paper. She hates the
wall paper; it infuriates her. The paper is a weird yellow color and has a very ugly pattern. The
wallpaper later symbolizes her oppression and is eventually torn down representing her breaking
through and fighting it

How Did Theodore Roosevelt Save The Environment
How and Why Theodore Roosevelt Saved the Environment
Common folklore says that the Teddy Bear toy is named after Theodore Roosevelt. Rumor has it
that he saved a young bear in the wild, and thus gave the cute and cuddly toy a name. (Donna, 1)
This is a great example of one of the most popular aspects of Theodore Roosevelt s personality: his
love for nature and the environment. But what really got Roosevelt interested in the environmental
concerns of the nation? Theodore Roosevelt s lifelong love of nature that was sprouted in
childhood, was strengthened due to his time in Dakota, and brought his attention to the
environmental issues that led to his involvement and achievements in environmentalism.

Roosevelt s intense case of asthma and other physical disabilities as a child sprouted his lifelong
love for the outdoors. He devoted his time to developing a strong physique , and doing physically

forest animals, stuffing them and putting them on his shelf. Roosevelt was home schooled due to
his asthma, thus giving him ample amount of free time which he liked to spend playing and
exploring the outdoors. Thanks to his father s wealth, his family helped to start a Museum of
Natural History. Due to his extreme exposure with the outdoors, Roosevelt had a love of nature that
started as a child and grew into a political movement.
In 1884, Roosevelts wife and mother passed away on the same day thus causing him to spiral
into a deep depression and move to the west Dakota Territory. Roosevelt planned to move back to
Dakota and to raise his cattle herd, but was hit with many disgruntled neighbors. His neighbors
were concerned about the overgrazing of Dakota pastors in 1886, and the harsh winter that was
coming.(Huber, 1) The overgrazing was a major issue for the ranchers

Puerto Rican Political Parties
As a child growing up in Puerto Rico I attended many political campaigns with my father. He was
the true meaning of the word fanatic when it came to politics and he had been a politician at an
earlier time in his life also. He believed with every fiber in his body that Puerto Rico should
become the fifty first state of the United States. My father passed away not seen his dream come
true.
In Puerto Rico, political parties are associated to the three status choices. There is the New
Progressive Party that supports statehood, also the Popular Democratic Party for the
commonwealth status and the Puerto Rican Independence Party that prefers as it s name state,
independence. These three ideals have painted the landscape of the island s political history with
the pro statehood and pro commonwealth parties with the vast majority of followers. For over 100

Comparing Augustine And Free Will
Paul saw sin as any act that violated God s law, whether that be by nature or literal and physical
law. It was evident that Paul believed that whoever sinned without out the law will perish without
the law (Romans 2:12). He also discusses that those without the law, such as Gentiles, would do law
with what is written in their hearts, their conscience testifying (Romans 2:15). To avoid sin, one can
either follow the law through the legal system, or you can understand the law through one s faith
/relationship with God; either path would hopefully allow someone to avoid sin as much as
possible. While Paul does believe that humans can minimize how much they sin, he does not
believe that they escape it all together. Paul believes that humans... Show more content on

Adam and Eve s pride is what led them to sin, because the serpent had informed them that they
could become self sufficient and more knowledgeable. Their undue exaltation (Augustine XI.13),
such as their desire to become self sufficient and knowledgeable like God, allowed them to choose
the wrongly directed path that God has not intended, therefore resulting in the first sin. Lastly,
Augustine also explains how he believes that free will and the body are two distinct things. In fact,
Augustine describes lust (Augustine XI.16) as a type of wrongly directed will that is common
among humans, but explicitly states how this will takes possession of the whole body and moves
the whole man (Augustine XI.16) into bodily pleasures. It is important for Augustine to make this
distinction about the will, because he wants to show how humans still have the opportunity to
choose a rightly directed will, instead of always thinking and/or acting with a wrongly directed

European Colonization in Shakespeare s The Tempest Essay
No Critique of European Colonization in The Tempest
Since the 1960s, several critics have found a critique of colonialism in their respective readings of
Shakespeare s The Tempest. The most radical of these analyses takes Prospero to be a European
invader of the magical but primitive land that he comes to rule, using his superior knowledge to
enslave its original inhabitants, most notably Caliban, and forcing them to do his bidding. While the
textual clues concerning the geographic location of Prospero s island are ambiguous and vague,
there is a prominent references to the Bermoothes. We know that shortly before he wrote his final
play, Shakespeare read a contemporary travel account of the Virginia Company s 1609 expedition to

Just as Native American tribes would come to distinguish between colonizers from different
nations, e.g., favoring the French over the British or vice versa, Caliban becomes disenchanted
with Trinculo as a master and proclaims that he will only serve Stephano. For his part, like some
great father protecting his children from a European rival, Stephano rebukes Trinculo for his
mistreatment of Caliban, saying that the poor monster s my subject, and he shall not suffer
indignity (III, ii., ll.36 37). All of this closely resembles some aspects of European colonialist
stereotypes of the New World s peoples and of their historical subjugation of Indians for their own
good.
If Shakespeare s play does comment upon European exploration and colonization in the Western
Hemisphere, however, The Tempest does not contain a critique of exploitation, but, instead, an
apology for it. Caliban was initially treated as an ignorant child and only put under wraps after he
attempted to force himself upon the completely innocent Miranda. The charge of rape is made
more credible in having Miranda pass judgment upon Caliban whom she calls an Abhorr d slave (I,
ii., l.352). Unlike our current understanding of European colonialism, Prospero puts Caliban in
chains because he has earned the status of

The Hero s Journey In Whirligig By Paul Fleischman
In stories, there is always a pattern that they all have in common. This certain pattern is known
as the Hero s Journey. There are varying descriptions of the Hero s Journey steps but only the
steps that are set by the teacher is used. These steps are the The Call , Allies , Preparation , The
Guardians of the Threshold , Crossing the Threshold , Road of Trials , Saving Experience,
Transformation , and Sharing the Gift .This essay is explaining what the Hero s Journey is in the
book Whirligig by Paul Fleischman. The step that is coming up is the Call which is when the hero
starts their journey.
The Call occurs when Mrs. Zamora requests Brent to make the whirligigs in the corners of the
United States. For example, Mrs. Zamora tells ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
With this sentence, you can see that Brent only prepared materials to build the whirligig. This
shows that Brent is prepared to go on his journey because he has all of his necessaries in his
luggage for the quest. Also, this shows that Brent still is self conscious, comparing others to him.
Therefore his preparation is done, and he next needs to cross the Threshold blocking him from
starting his quest. There are no Guardians of the Threshold in this story unless Brent s parents are
counted in the first place. The book stated that Brent s parent raised one objection after another
(Fleischman 41). The Guardians of the Threshold usually prevents the hero from going on his quest,
and this statement shows that Brent s parents are objecting on the quest. If their objection is
fulfilled, Brent wouldn t have gone on the quest at first. This fits the standards of being the
Guardians of the Threshold but nothing is done. In conclusion, it could be called the Guardians of
the Threshold by some.
A main problem in Brent s journey that is a Threshold of sorts is that he s self conscious. He
doesn t believe he has much of a future after his journey and compares to other people. In the
book, it says He was no longer of their kind and never will be (Fleischman 36). This sentence
proves that he feels

A. Write a brief description of the setting(s) of the book.
This book is set in the early 1960 s up until the early 2000 s, in Afghanistan. One of the leading
characters of the story, Mariam lives in a small city called Herat, where she lives with her mother,
Nana, in a kolba, which is a small shack. While
Mariam and her mother are living in a small rundown hut, her father, Jalil, lives in a mansion with

If so, how?
Yes, time and place do contribute to the conflict of the story. In this story, time and place tend to
be the conflict. Currently in Afghanistan, and even back to when this book is set, it has been
extremely challenging to be a woman. Most women are illiterate because they have no form of
education, and are forced into marriage at young ages with men who are decades older than they
are. Many women are abused and isolated. Sometimes when their husbands have male friends over
they are asked to leave, and are left alone until the guests have departed. In A Thousand Splendid
Suns , Mariam deals with abuse during her marriage to
Rasheed, this continues the topic and conflict of women being oppressed. In a part of the book
Mariam prepares a meal for Rasheed, and every time she does this she tries her best to please him.
This time, Rasheed spits the rice she made on the floor, grabs rocks and tells her to chew them,
injuring her.
Character(s)
Mariam is a young girl who was born out of wedlock. Her mother Nana was a maid for her father
Jalil, a wealthy and successful businessman. Her parents do not live together, and throughout the
beginning of the story, Mariam continuously pesters her mother about seeing Jalil. Every time
Mariam asks to see her father, Nana declines and says she is a harami and not one of them ,
meaning she s a bastard child , and while Jalil is living in his mansion along with his wives and
children, Nana and Mariam are living

Holden Caulfield Hypocrite
In J.D. Salinger s novel titled, The Catcher in the Rye the main character named Holden
Caulfield tells us about his life adventures after he got expelled from his previous high school,
Pencey. Caulfield learns many things from his adventures and learns important life lessons. You
see, Holden is a complex character who exhibits many traits. For one, Holden is a hypocrite; he
believes one thing when he really does not. For example, he preaches that people should be
themselves and not be phony but yet he fakes his name most of the time and tries to be someone
he is not. Although Holden is a hypocrite, he stands up for his morals, and he is very empathetic.
Holden cares for others, even though it might seem as if he does not. Holden is quite remarkable
because he is willing to do anything if it means that he gets to stand up for what he believes in.
He is also a remarkable person due to the fact that he learns from his past and tries not to make the

hunting hat to stand out: I put on this hat that I d bought in New York that morning. It was this
red hunting hat, with one of those very, very long peaks....The way I wore it, I swung the old
peak way around to the back very corny, I ll admit, but I liked it that way. I looked good in it that
way (Salinger 21). Although, he always tries to lose the hat when he is in crowds, indicating that
he is a bit self conscious of himself even though he tries to make himself stand out. Holden does
not like phonies because they are foolish and immature. Yet again, he is foolish and immature
himself. For these reasons, Holden is indeed a

that they share is Stand up for what you believe in. In both the story, and the drama there is that

All Summer in a Day the girl, Margot believed that the sun was going to come up, but everyone

Parks was Arrested a white man told Rosa Parks to get up so he could sit down. She didn t get up.

You can also learn something from them. In conclusion, if you say something, but someone else

correct. You will never know, but just always stand up for what you believe in. Rosa Parks didn
t want to be treated the way she was being treated, so she stood up for herself, and everyone of
the colored people. Margot did not want to be treated the way she was being treated, just
because she was different. So what she did was stood up for herself, and believed in herself.

helping future generations, and it is a chance to connect with the local community and spread the
word. To go along with this lifestyle and its benefits, cateringcompanies are pushing to become
more environmentally sustainable and have more local and organic food options. Although

Un served food products would be donated to local charities and fryer grease would be collected
and recycled (Shock, 2011, p. 134). I could maybe consider solar panels or reducing the use of
paper by having reusable menus for example. Becoming more sustainable and having healthier
and fresher options comes with a price. Depending on how much you want to change can affect
the financial impact, but generally more efficient equipment and organic foods are more
expensive. So generally if you are eventually upgrade the building, appliances, and food options
to be eco friendly and organic the financial impact will be large but also positive because
overtime you should be making your money back and more as well as helping the environment.
Organic and local foods always come at a higher price because they are naturally grown rather
than artificially with chemicals at a faster rate. Organic farmers work hard to grow their foods
naturally at a much slower pace so they need to increase their prices to make it worthwhile. If a
catering company is buying more expensive foods, it impacts the prices on the menu and causes
them to rise so they can still make profit. These days I believe a company can still be competitive
with higher prices because many people are looking for on premise caterers who offer these
healthier options. Many people are worried about the increasing obesity rates and staying healthy
so they are willing to pay more for those options. Like stated

Greed In The Necklace
There are many moral issues in society. Though not many people realize it, acts like selfishness
and greed affect people in major ways. Throughout history greed has been a huge problem, as
displayed in The Necklace many people live wanting to be accepted into society, although the bible
is against greed and selfishness it is still an ongoing issue in society.
The short story The Necklace portrays greed and selfishness through the life of Mathlide Loisel.
This story was written in the 1800 s in Paris, which is also believed to be when the story takes
place. Life in Paris during this time was all about your rank and where you stood in society. This
want for acceptance made many people desire unnecessary things, leading to more greed and envy
for others.

Na2co3 Synthesis Lab Report
IV. CONCLUSION _
In this experiment, a solution of Na2CO3 was reacted with a solution of CaCl2 to form a
precipitate of CaCO3. The theoretical yield of CaCO3 was calculated and then compared to the
actual yield of CaCO3. The results suggest that the Theoretical Yield was 4.2246 grams and the
Actual Yield was 4.24 grams, which gave a Percent Yield of 100.473% and a Percent Error of
0.473%. The actual yield was greater than the theoretical yield. It is suggested that it was greater
than because I used two different filter papers and I only measured one. If I had measured the
two different papers, I would probably obtain a different mass for each of them. Because I am

Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee Summary
Kelsey Hernandez Dr. Matthew Bailey HIS 106 Section 16 02/16/2015 WASP Stings Bury My
Heart at Wounded Knee is written by Dee Brown and depicts the life of many American Indians
in the late 1800s. There is very little recognition of the real impact of Native Americans hardships
that happened because of government policies being implemented upon them and the feeling of
WASP (White Anglo Saxton Protestant) superiority. The two different ways of life were causing
many battles, massacres, and injuries from people on both sides of the fight for land. The Indians
were being kicked off of their land, that had been inhabited by the ancestors of their tribes for
hundreds of years, and being forced onto reservations that lacked the things they were... Show more

This allows the Indians power with numbers at a big win against General Custer at Little
Bighorn. (299) Afterwards, the government justifies the deaths in that battle as the reason why
the land will be given to the government and the Native Americans are given no choice, but to
surrender, excluding Sitting Bull, pack leader, and a small portion of his people who escape to
Canada. (310) They are able to now feel like even if they win a battle and get enough people to
join their army the will never be truly allowed to win the land. The Nez PercГ©s people are then
told to give up their land and settle in a reservation after loosing battles to the Bluecoats. (312)
The surrounding policy changes in the times are part of the reason as to why this major civil
war was being overshadowed in 1877. (315) The white settlers are able to act with very little
notice being given due to the amount of larger conflicts that were developing in the start of the
nation. The Poncas are the next tribe that is played out, and they are considered to be peaceful.
However, they are sent to Indian territories with groups that are considered hostile and that result in
the demise and deaths. A member states, It makes my heart feel sad as I do not know this land.

Describe The Relationship Between Acid And Carbonic Acid
The acid balance must be regulated with a range of 7.35 and 7.45 in order for the body to function
normally. A pH of below 7.35 is considered acidic and a pH of above 7.45 is considered alkaline or
basic. Body acids exist in two forms; volatile and nonvolatile acids. Volatile acids can be eliminated
as CO2, usually known as carbonic acid, which is a weak acid. Nonvolatile acids can be eliminated
by the kidneys, example are sulfuric and phosphoric. These acids are strong compared to volatile
acids.
When there are changes in pH (can be an increase in hydrogen ion or decrease) there are different
buffer systems that can help to regulate the pH, such as; the carbonic acid bicarbonate buffer,
protein buffer and renal buffer. Buffers absorb the excess hydrogen ion or hydroxyl ion and prevent

The carbonic acid bicarbonate buffer is a major extracellular buffer, that operates in both the lungs
and kidneys. The lungs acts as a second defense responding quickly by decreasing the amount of
carbonic acid by blowing off carbon dioxide and leaving water. The kidneys acts as a third
defense talking a little longer to respond (hours to days versus seconds to minutes with the lungs).
The kidneys reabsorb bicarbonate or regenerate bicarbonate from carbon dioxide and water. These
two systems work very effectively together because the lungs can adjust acid concentration rapidly
by ventilation and bicarbonate is easily absorbed or regenerated by kidneys tubules, although more
slowly. The way the renal and respiratory systems adjust to primary changes in pH are known as
compensation. The respiratory system compensates for changes in pH by increasing or decreasing
the concentration of carbon dioxide by changing ventilation. The renal system compensates by
producing more acidic or more alkaline urine. The protein buffer system is both extracellular and
intracellular,

affinity for doing the latter that has made Gertrude, Leo, and Michael Stein revolutionaries in the
world of visual art. American in origin, but long time residents of Paris, the Stein siblings

trendsetters, not afraid to express an appreciation for the avant garde artists that the world had
previously turned away. By selecting pieces based on the art itself, regardless of the artist s

work was mocked and ridiculed before being discovered by the Stein family, but after Leo
purchased Woman with a Hat, the Stein apartment became a major destination for aspiring artists
who wanted to view the unique piece. Occurrences like these were not uncommon. The Steins

Non Traditional Family Model
Marriage, a form of interpersonal union that creates a familial bond and is recognized legally,
religiously, or socially, gives participating partners mutual rights and responsibilities
(Dictionary.com, 2018). Family ties are a deep source of satisfaction and meaning, yet the
traditional family model is changing drastically.
Traditionally, the model of the familyis recognized with the husband being the steady source of
income for the family, and the wife working and raising children at home, until they reach the age
of 18. American family life is focused on continuity and change. Only 7% of American families fit
the traditional family model, demonstrating that family structure has changed over the years.
Conservatives believe it is necessary for the government to step in to restore marriage and the two

The number of Canadians living alone has been steadily increasing; a quarter of households
contain only one person. Two person households have also become more common. Causes of lone

the death of one parent, they are now caused by the growing incidence of divorce (Ravelli, 2005).
Numerous personal, economic, and cultural factors contribute to the decline of the traditional
family model. To give an example of a personal factor, a woman who has been divorced is
understandably less positive towards the idea of marriage than a woman who has never been

Disadvantages And Disadvantages Of Using Radio-Frequency...
Abstract:
This paper introduces the advantages and disadvantages of utilizing Radio Frequency Identification
(RFID) in Supply Chain Management (SCM). While RFID has a more prominent number of
advantages than its ancestor, the standardized tag, it as of now includes some significant downfalls
that numerous organizations still consider restrictive. From one viewpoint, RFID is profitable in
light of the fact that it doesn t require line of sight scanning, it acts to lessen work levels, upgrades
perceivability, and enhances inventory management. On the other hand, RFID is a costly solution,
lacking standardization, it has a small number of suppliers creating end to end solutions,
experiences some unfriendly sending issues, and is blurred by security ... Show more content on

It s grouped under the category of automatic identification technologies. RFID is also called
Dedicated Short Range Communication (DSRC). A RFID framework basically comprises of
three parts: the RFID tag itself, the RFID reader device, and a backend IT framework. The RFID
label ordinarily comprises of a silicon chip that can hold a certain amount of information, (for
example, unique identification number), and an antenna wire that is used to communicate with
the remote reader device. There are chipless RFID tags too, which misuse certain RF reflecting
properties of materials. In case of chipless RFID, the tags s unique serial number is given by the
material s properties, e.g. the design of RF filaments implanted in paper. The reader device
communicates with the RFID tag by method for sending and accepting radio frequency waves.
The way this communication happens contrasts between passive and active RFID tags. Passive
RFID tags does not have a power supply; the energy stored in the reader device s radio frequency
interrogation scan is enough to wake up the RFID tag and to enable it to send a response (that
is, the RFID tag s data) to the reader device by means of reflection. Active tags contain a battery
that permits them to react to the reader s interrogation with a stronger signal, in this way
increasing the distance from which the tag can be read. The backend IT framework is in charge
of cross referencing the RFID tag s ID number with a database record that describes the object to
which the tag is

Juvenile Arrests 2008
Data is collected by law enforcement agencies within the United States and submitted to the Federal
Bureau of Investigations for tracking purposes. These numbers are used by analysts at the FBI to
indicate trends in crime and to possibly develop alternative policing methods. A statistician can
manipulate numbers to show what they feel is relevant, but aside from just being numbers in a
spreadsheet it allows police forces to determine the trends within their respective communities.

As this figure shows that simple assault arrests are decreasing, it is still far higher than it should be.
Implications for Females and Minorities Using the data provided by Puzzanchera (2009), it is
obvious that female offenders are becoming more brazen in their ways. Whereas crime has been
predominantly a male dominated venue, females are staking a claim to their rights to enter the
world of crime. This change in roles is also noted in the adult arrest reports; female arrests have
shown a slower decrease than male arrests. Minorities are also affected by the statistics of the
Uniform Crime Report. When looking at minority arrests, the composition of the community
really affects the numbers used. Overall in the United States the racial compositions for juveniles
according to Puzzanchera (2009) showed that 78% of juveniles were white, 16% were black, 5%
Asian, and only 1% Native American. These figures can be severely misleading in that Hispanic
juveniles are classified as white for these studies. However, using these numbers and the reporting
by agencies, violent crimes committed in 2008 were done by 47% white youth, 52% black youth
and a mere 1% were committed by Asian youth, leaving the last 1% to have been committed by
native American youth. As a result, black youth are more likely to commit violent crimes and be
entered into the juvenile justice system.

Moses was born in a very difficult time: Pharaoh had ordered that all male children born to Hebrew
slaves should be drowned in the river (Exodus. 1:22). Moses mother hid him for three months, and
when she could no longer hide him, she put him in an ark and placed it on the river where Pharaoh

In the Hebrew bible, the golden calf was an idol made by Aaron for the Israelites during Moses
unexpectedly long absence. It is first mentioned in Exodus 32:4.
When Moses went up onto Mount Sinai to receive the Ten Commandments (Exodus 19:20), he
left the Israelites for forty days and forty nights (Exodus 24:18). The Israelites feared that he
would not return, and asked Aaron to make a god for them (Exodus 32:1). The Bible does not note
Aaron s opinion of this request; merely that he complied, and gathered up the Israelites golden
earrings. He melted them to construct the golden calf. He also built an altar before the calf, and the
next day, the Israelites made offerings and celebrated.
G d told Moses that his people had corrupted themselves, and that he planned to eliminate them,
but Moses argued and pleaded that they should be spared (Exodus 32:11); G d relented. Moses

The Pros And Cons Of Capital Punishment
The death penalty is put into place when a person of some sort commits murder or rape or
something to an extreme extent, is lethally injected and put to death because of the crime.
To put it in perspective think about it this way, you re a thirty four year old with a spouse, and
three young children, a man the age of sixty seven brutally murders your spouse, would you want
that man to spend the rest of his life with a roof over his head and three square meals a day, or
would you prefer he be lethally injected and slowly and put to sleep? Although there are many
reasons to stick with a life sentence for criminals, there are even more reasons to implement capital
punishment, or the death penalty.
The history of the death penalty, or capital punishment dates all the way back to colonial times,
when the Europeans came to the new world. One of the first executions on record was Captain
George Kendall in 1612. Kendall was executed for being a spy for Spain.
In the mid to late 1800 s criminal began to receive a reformation sentence, which would be a
twenty five Years to life sentence. A reformation sentence is exactly as it sounds, it gave prisoners a
second chance. The reformation sentence failed because prisoners learned that they could just
commit a crime and get out on good behavior and continue the cycle. Master Sergeant Maurice L.
Schick was convicted in 1958 for the murder of a eight year old girl on a military camp in Japan.
Schick was sentenced to death, six years later

The least expensive doors consist of a single sheet of steel. The steel is strong enough to keep out
intruders, but it doesn t insulate your garage very well. More expensive doors have double or triple
layers to them with insulation filling the space between. That makes them very energy efficient,
which is helpful if you want to use the garage as a workshop or exercise room.
Modern Steel Doors Resist Rust
Steel is known for rusting, but steel garage doors don t usually succumb to this problem. For one
thing, the color is factory finished so it acts as a protective coating. If you scratch the paint off,
you ll want to repair it so the bare metal doesn t begin to rust. As long as the door is cared for and
the paint is intact, it should last for years without developing rust that causes squeaky operations or
eyesores.
Steel Doors Offer Excellent Security
There s a reason steel is used for residential entry doors and commercial security doors. It s strong
and an excellent barrier against intruders. When you have a steel door protecting your garage,
you can store tools and other belongings in there without worrying about theft. However, a door
is only as strong as the lock, so if security is a concern, be sure to have a good lock and that the side
door and windows are secure

Vivaldi Solo Concerto Essay
The solo concerto was a feature piece for a solo instrument accompanied by a contrasting ensemble,
the biggest difference between the concerto grosso and the solo concerto was the contrast between
the solo and the tutti sections were even longer and much more detailed. It wasn t until the
eighteenth century that the solo concertobecame popular, the most well known composer of the
solo concerto was Antonio Vivaldi. It was Vivaldi s clean melodies, expertise with solo passages
and the contrast in timbre between the orchestraand solo parts that his concertos are among the
most famous of all other composers. Vivaldi wrote over five hundred concertos mostly for his own
instrument the violin, but also for the trumpet, cello, oboe flute and bassoon. Most of these

Vivaldi s music was innovative, flamboyant and bright. In this way he managed to embellish the
formal structure of the solo concerto. This form of concerto gave soloists a chance to show off
their virtuosity, especially violinists on the new instruments thanks to luthiers such as Stradivarius
and Guarneri. Vivaldi s solo concertos provided musicians with a much wider range of colour by
using orchestration techniques of pizzicato and muted strings and contrast which was unparalleled
at the time. He mostly followed the simple three movement structure of fast slow fast, because
Vivaldi followed this pattern closely this became a prominent template for the next three centuries
of composers. Vivaldi s four seasons concerto is arguably the most popular baroque concerto,
written for solo violin and orchestra, it is an example of programatic music, that is, music based
upon a story or music that tells a story. The four seasons is based upon a set of sonnets, no one
knows exactly who wrote them, but it is thought that Vivaldi himself may have written

Intercollegiate Football History
On November 6, 1869 the first game of American football was played, players from princeton
university and rutgers university met to play the first intercollegiate football game. Back in those
days football still resembled rugby more than modern day football, with 20 players to a team. In
1873, representatives from Columbia, Rutgers, Princeton, and Yale Universities met in New York
City to form the first intercollegiate football rules for the now popular game. These four teams
established the Intercollegiate Football Association (IFA) and set 15 as the number of players
allowed on each team. Walter Camp, the coach at Yale who helped from the IFA over his desire for
an eleven man team, helped begin the final step in the evolution from rugby style... Show more

Summary Of The Poem XIV By John Walcott
From the very beginning of the poem XIV , it is clear the author is describing an experience that
has left a lasting impression on him. Walcott vividly details his childhood visit with the elderly
storyteller, and his journey there. Throughout the poem the author uses poetic devices to convey
how this experience was a defining moment in his transformation from childhood to adulthood, and
contributed to his identity and newfound wisdom. It is apparent from the first line of the poem that
author is in a stateof overriding fear travelling through the unknown: likening the road to an old
snake shedding its skin. A snake is a clear representation of childhood fear and youthful paranoia,
due to its intimidating nature. Walcott compares the path to a snake because he fears it just like a
snake, to him the path is daunting and potentially deadly at first. The author not only compares the
road to a snake but a snake shedding its skin. This paints a grotesque image for readers and
illustrates how he views his initial journey with anything but enthusiasm. The author is in the
unfamiliar wilderness searching for not only the storytellers house but himself. His state of
childhood terror is only counterbalanced by his encounter with the storyteller. Walcott effectively
separates the poem into two parts according to the state of mind he was in: fright and then wonder.
He shifts from these two contrasting moods by stating There s childhood, and there s childhood s

Abortion Is The Right Choice
ABORTION RHETORICAL ANALYSIS
ABSTRACT Abortion is one of the most controversial issue worldwide. According to anti
abortionist people, there are people who tend to make bad choices look good when trying to
decide what would be the best decision to an unwanted pregnancy. Both the Pro Abortion and Pro
Life are being discussed from two different perspectives towards abortion. Anti Abortionist people
disagree with abortion due to their own beliefs. On the other hand, people believe women should
have more autonomy in the issue. Not only do anti abortionist people think abortion should not be
an option given to women but also think abortion should be illegal worldwide. Although people
can not be forced to have an abortion, people can be very persuasive to make others think abortion
is the right choice.
INTRODUCTION Abortion has been one of the most debated topics in the United States for more
than a century. There is the anti abortionist group that believe abortion should be permanently
banned from not only the U.S but also worldwide. We live in a world today that abortion takes
place every second of everyday. Abortion has become a big issue in today s generation because of
the high percentage of unprotected sex and uncontrolled hormones followed by the miss connection
and lack of responsibility and most importantly what the outcomes bring to the table. There are
numerous of different perspectives being argued and supported with strong beliefs

1. Read Case 9: National Collegiate Athletic Association Ethics and Compliance Program, pp 444
454. Answer the questions at the end of the case.
How does the NCAA encourage collegiate football programs to develop a culture of ethics and
compliance?
Collegiate football is not only a very lucrative and rapidly growing business but it also has a
tremendous impact on our culture, influencing the values of millions of participants and spectators
. Because of this, it is vey important to ensure that the NCAA ensure that all teams not only follow
the rules and interpretations of the game, but also hold themselves to a higher standard with an
established code of ethics. These days, there are concerns about moral ... Show more content on

the coach. It is required for the coaches to create a culture of integrity and direct his/her staff to
uphold NCAA bylaws (NCAA, 2012). If not, the head coach will be held accountable and there are
possible penalties as well to include suspension.
Is it a valid criticism that the NCAA is based more on compliance than ethical values?
The criticism will have to be based on a school by school basis. I specifically know of a situation
where my favorite football team, Notre Dame, had suspended their quarter back for violation of
the honor code by cheating on a test, when it was most critical to keep him playing when Notre
Dame was ranked #1 and going to the National Championships in 2012 who eventually were
beaten for the title by Alabama. Notre Dame has a very strong honor code and strictly adheres to
the code of ethics. Is it because the university is a Catholic school?? The university itself contacted
the NCAA about the academic dishonesty of four of their players which resulted in the suspension
of Everett Golson (QB). The University is committed to thorough resolution of this matter,
consistent with its commitment to academic integrity and adherence to NCAA rules, Father
Jenkins said. In this case, it looks as though Notre Dame is based more on ethical values than that
of the NCAA. Although they NCAA does have rules, regulations and punishments in place, they do
not seem to attack ethical values head on than being more in

A Pentadic Analysis Of Senator Kennedy s Indefensible
When we think about a true leader of the United States of America, we clearly believe that a
leader must have a greater action and accepts the reality to solve the situation. In the article, A
Pentadic Analysis of Senator Edward Kennedy s Address to the People of Massachusetts July
25, 1969 Ling analyses that Senator Kennedy s speech shows indefensible (Ling, 1970) because
of the tragedy, and feel particular guilty from the accident. Moreover, Ling explains how Kennedy
s speech intended to minimize his responsibility for his actions after the death of Miss Kopechne
(Ling, 1970). The research question of this will be what kind of descriptions effectively apply to
build credibility? Ling explains, the Pentad, it is possible to examine a

Emperor Nero did the first heinous persecution of Christians. In one of movies The redemption of Peter shows few glimpses of this persecution. Families with children, women and old parents were sent to the unbelievable torture containing loud and painful screams as being Christians, were heard being tortured but they did not deny their faith. The Emperor says he wants to burn Christians, so he can have light for his garden; Emperor s wife says, Kill them all! . In one of the prison s scene, soldier shares his concern with another soldier while guarding prison that poor children did nothing wrong but are suffering with their parents. Children were humiliated with their families. (P162 Macculcah): In third century, Perpetua (martyr) embraced Christianity. She knew the result of it, will be death. Her father did his best not to declare herself as Christian for the sake of his grey hair, for her son, brother and family. She asked her father, do you see the vase, or whatever you want to call it, can you call it by another name than what it is? He said, No, you can t. • 3. Essay On Chocolate Labour In West Africa Do you enjoy eating chocolate? Many people around the world love eating chocolate. People in the United States eat around 120 chocolate bars each year. But would you still enjoy eating that chocolate bar if you knew that the chocolate that is used to make those delicious bars comes from the forced labor of young children? Chocolate is made from cacao beans that grow in tropical places like West Africa. The countries in West Africasupply more than 70 percent of the world s cocoa. They sell the cocoa they grow and harvest to many of the chocolate companies who make our chocolate candy bars. In recent years, news reporters, as well as human rights organizations around the world, have discovered that there is widespread child slaveryfor growing and harvesting cocoa beans on cocoa farms in West Africa. As chocolate has gotten more popular around the world, so has the demand for cheap cocoa. Many cocoa farmers earn less than $2 per day. To help keep the cost of cocoa low, they use children as workers. The children living in West Africa are very poor. Some of these children go to work on cocoa farms because their desperately poor families need them to earn money. Other children are taken against their will from small villages and sold to cocoa farm owners. These children work 80 to 100 hours a week. They are not paid. They do not go to school. They are often beaten if they try to escape. Most of these children are between the ages of 11 and 16, but some people have seen ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Our vision at Wooly Bully farms is to be a self sustaining and environmentally friendly company for our consumers, employees, and animals. Our mission here at Wooly Bully is to implement a sustainable system in order to provide our clients with high grade fiber, sustainable replacement ewes, and quality grade meat. The Rambouillet was chosen over other breeds, due to the breed s ability to do well in; range conditions, large size, use as a dual purpose breed, and fine wool they are known for. The rambouillet originates from Spanish merinos which were sent to France to help improve herds in the country. The spanish government was extremely strict on the exportation of their merinos. This all changed in 1786 when the King allowed for 359 animals to be sent to a Rambouillet farm outside of Paris. The fall of the Spanish empire helped get more of the spanish merino bloodlines outside of Spain. The breed was created through careful selection of fleece characteristics to maintain a breed with fine wool. Along with maintaining fine wool the breed gained body size and conformation, which was rare for breeds not producing mutton (American Rambouillet Sheep Breeders Association). Some of the French animals were sent to Germany where Rambouillet rams were used in many of flocks as the breeds fame as a fine wooled breed spread. • 6. Antisemitism The Holocaust The Holocaust started because of ingrained antisemitism both in Germany and the countries it conquered, compounded by propaganda and the encouragement and leadership of political leaders. It also started because the passive and active perpetrators held deep animosity towards the Jewish people ingrained by almost 2000 years of antisemitism in Christian teachings‚ which made them receptive to the message of the Nazis, and which made the idea of eliminating and exterminating Jewsreasonable and indeed desirable. The Holocaust was undertaken by Adolph Hitler to extinguish an entire race, the Jewish People. Similarly, for the past five years, four million Syrian refugees have been displaced and in need of new residential areas while more than 11.6 million people have been affected by the civil war in Syria. All of the action and suspense of the story arises within the four walls of the narrator s bedroom, a former nursery and playroom with bars on its window (Miskolcze 3). This can be showing that women are forced to take care of children and that s all they can do. The irony of her being placed in a nursery shows that women are always taking care of something in the nursey. • 11. Comparing Augustine And Free Will Paul saw sin as any act that violated God s law, whether that be by nature or literal and physical law. It was evident that Paul believed that whoever sinned without out the law will perish without the law (Romans 2:12). He also discusses that those without the law, such as Gentiles, would do law with what is written in their hearts, their conscience testifying (Romans 2:15). To avoid sin, one can either follow the law through the legal system, or you can understand the law through one s faith /relationship with God; either path would hopefully allow someone to avoid sin as much as possible. Lastly, Augustine also explains how he believes that free will and the body are two distinct things. In fact, Augustine describes lust (Augustine XI.16) as a type of wrongly directed will that is common among humans, but explicitly states how this will takes possession of the whole body and moves the whole man (Augustine XI.16) into bodily pleasures. • 14. European Colonization in Shakespeare s The Tempest Essay No Critique of European Colonization in The Tempest Since the 1960s, several critics have found a critique of colonialism in their respective readings of Shakespeare s The Tempest. The most radical of these analyses takes Prospero to be a European invader of the magical but primitive land that he comes to rule, using his superior knowledge to enslave its original inhabitants, most notably Caliban, and forcing them to do his bidding. While the textual clues concerning the geographic location of Prospero s island are ambiguous and vague, there is a prominent references to the Bermoothes. All of this closely resembles some aspects of European colonialist stereotypes of the New World s peoples and of their historical subjugation of Indians for their own good. If Shakespeare s play does comment upon European exploration and colonization in the Western Hemisphere, however, The Tempest does not contain a critique of exploitation, but, instead, an apology for it. Caliban was initially treated as an ignorant child and only put under wraps after he attempted to force himself upon the completely innocent Miranda. The charge of rape is made more credible in having Miranda pass judgment upon Caliban whom she calls an Abhorr d slave (I, ii., l.352). There are varying descriptions of the Hero s Journey steps but only the steps that are set by the teacher is used. These steps are the The Call , Allies , Preparation , The Guardians of the Threshold , Crossing the Threshold , Road of Trials , Saving Experience, Transformation , and Sharing the Gift .This essay is explaining what the Hero s Journey is in the book Whirligig by Paul Fleischman. Also, this shows that Brent still is self conscious, comparing others to him. Therefore his preparation is done, and he next needs to cross the Threshold blocking him from starting his quest. There are no Guardians of the Threshold in this story unless Brent s parents are counted in the first place. The book stated that Brent s parent raised one objection after another (Fleischman 41). The Guardians of the Threshold usually prevents the hero from going on his quest, and this statement shows that Brent s parents are objecting on the quest. If their objection is fulfilled, Brent wouldn t have gone on the quest at first. This fits the standards of being the Guardians of the Threshold but nothing is done. In conclusion, it could be called the Guardians of the Threshold by some. A main problem in Brent s journey that is a Threshold of sorts is that he s self conscious. So generally if you are eventually upgrade the building, appliances, and food options to be eco friendly and organic the financial impact will be large but also positive because overtime you should be making your money back and more as well as helping the environment. Organic and local foods always come at a higher price because they are naturally grown rather than artificially with chemicals at a faster rate. Organic farmers work hard to grow their foods naturally at a much slower pace so they need to increase their prices to make it worthwhile. If a catering company is buying more expensive foods, it impacts the prices on the menu and causes them to rise so they can still make profit. These days I believe a company can still be competitive with higher prices because many people are looking for on premise caterers who offer these healthier options. Many people are worried about the increasing obesity rates and staying healthy so they are willing to pay more for those options. Like stated ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Throughout history greed has been a huge problem, as displayed in The Necklace many people live wanting to be accepted into society, although the bible is against greed and selfishness it is still an ongoing issue in society. • 28. Describe The Relationship Between Acid And Carbonic Acid The acid balance must be regulated with a range of 7.35 and 7.45 in order for the body to function normally. A pH of below 7.35 is considered acidic and a pH of above 7.45 is considered alkaline or basic. Body acids exist in two forms; volatile and nonvolatile acids. Volatile acids can be eliminated as CO2, usually known as carbonic acid, which is a weak acid. Nonvolatile acids can be eliminated by the kidneys, example are sulfuric and phosphoric. These acids are strong compared to volatile acids. When there are changes in pH (can be an increase in hydrogen ion or decrease) there are different buffer systems that can help to regulate the pH, such as; the carbonic acid bicarbonate buffer, protein buffer and renal buffer. Buffers absorb the excess hydrogen ion or hydroxyl ion and prevent a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The carbonic acid bicarbonate buffer is a major extracellular buffer, that operates in both the lungs and kidneys. The lungs acts as a second defense responding quickly by decreasing the amount of carbonic acid by blowing off carbon dioxide and leaving water. The kidneys acts as a third defense talking a little longer to respond (hours to days versus seconds to minutes with the lungs). The kidneys reabsorb bicarbonate or regenerate bicarbonate from carbon dioxide and water. These two systems work very effectively together because the lungs can adjust acid concentration rapidly by ventilation and bicarbonate is easily absorbed or regenerated by kidneys tubules, although more slowly. The way the renal and respiratory systems adjust to primary changes in pH are known as compensation. The respiratory system compensates for changes in pH by increasing or decreasing the concentration of carbon dioxide by changing ventilation. The renal system compensates by producing more acidic or more alkaline urine. The protein buffer system is both extracellular and intracellular, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Abstract: This paper introduces the advantages and disadvantages of utilizing Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) in Supply Chain Management (SCM). While RFID has a more prominent number of advantages than its ancestor, the standardized tag, it as of now includes some significant downfalls that numerous organizations still consider restrictive. From one viewpoint, RFID is profitable in light of the fact that it doesn t require line of sight scanning, it acts to lessen work levels, upgrades perceivability, and enhances inventory management. On the other hand, RFID is a costly solution, lacking standardization, it has a small number of suppliers creating end to end solutions, experiences some unfriendly sending issues, and is blurred by security ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It s grouped under the category of automatic identification technologies. RFID is also called Dedicated Short Range Communication (DSRC). A RFID framework basically comprises of three parts: the RFID tag itself, the RFID reader device, and a backend IT framework. The RFID label ordinarily comprises of a silicon chip that can hold a certain amount of information, (for example, unique identification number), and an antenna wire that is used to communicate with the remote reader device. There are chipless RFID tags too, which misuse certain RF reflecting properties of materials. In case of chipless RFID, the tags s unique serial number is given by the material s properties, e.g. the design of RF filaments implanted in paper. The reader device communicates with the RFID tag by method for sending and accepting radio frequency waves. The way this communication happens contrasts between passive and active RFID tags. Passive RFID tags does not have a power supply; the energy stored in the reader device s radio frequency interrogation scan is enough to wake up the RFID tag and to enable it to send a response (that is, the RFID tag s data) to the reader device by means of reflection. Active tags contain a battery that permits them to react to the reader s interrogation with a stronger signal, in this way increasing the distance from which the tag can be read. The backend IT framework is in charge of cross referencing the RFID tag s ID number with a database record that describes the object to which the tag is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Whereas crime has been predominantly a male dominated venue, females are staking a claim to their rights to enter the world of crime. This change in roles is also noted in the adult arrest reports; female arrests have shown a slower decrease than male arrests. Minorities are also affected by the statistics of the Uniform Crime Report. When looking at minority arrests, the composition of the community really affects the numbers used. Overall in the United States the racial compositions for juveniles according to Puzzanchera (2009) showed that 78% of juveniles were white, 16% were black, 5% Asian, and only 1% Native American. This form of concerto gave soloists a chance to show off their virtuosity, especially violinists on the new instruments thanks to luthiers such as Stradivarius and Guarneri. Vivaldi s solo concertos provided musicians with a much wider range of colour by using orchestration techniques of pizzicato and muted strings and contrast which was unparalleled at the time. • 40. Summary Of The Poem XIV By John Walcott From the very beginning of the poem XIV , it is clear the author is describing an experience that has left a lasting impression on him. Walcott vividly details his childhood visit with the elderly storyteller, and his journey there. Throughout the poem the author uses poetic devices to convey how this experience was a defining moment in his transformation from childhood to adulthood, and contributed to his identity and newfound wisdom. It is apparent from the first line of the poem that author is in a stateof overriding fear travelling through the unknown: likening the road to an old snake shedding its skin. A snake is a clear representation of childhood fear and youthful paranoia, due to its intimidating nature. Walcott compares the path to a snake because he fears it just like a snake, to him the path is daunting and potentially deadly at first. The author not only compares the road to a snake but a snake shedding its skin. This paints a grotesque image for readers and illustrates how he views his initial journey with anything but enthusiasm. The author is in the unfamiliar wilderness searching for not only the storytellers house but himself. His state of childhood terror is only counterbalanced by his encounter with the storyteller. Walcott effectively separates the poem into two parts according to the state of mind he was in: fright and then wonder. He shifts from these two contrasting moods by stating There s childhood, and there s childhood s ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It is required for the coaches to create a culture of integrity and direct his/her staff to uphold NCAA bylaws (NCAA, 2012). If not, the head coach will be held accountable and there are possible penalties as well to include suspension. Is it a valid criticism that the NCAA is based more on compliance than ethical values? The criticism will have to be based on a school by school basis. I specifically know of a situation where my favorite football team, Notre Dame, had suspended their quarter back for violation of the honor code by cheating on a test, when it was most critical to keep him playing when Notre Dame was ranked #1 and going to the National Championships in 2012 who eventually were beaten for the title by Alabama. Notre Dame has a very strong honor code and strictly adheres to the code of ethics. Is it because the university is a Catholic school?? The university itself contacted the NCAA about the academic dishonesty of four of their players which resulted in the suspension of Everett Golson (QB). The University is committed to thorough resolution of this matter, consistent with its commitment to academic integrity and adherence to NCAA rules, Father Jenkins said. In this case, it looks as though Notre Dame is based more on ethical values than that of the NCAA. Although they NCAA does have rules, regulations and punishments in place, they do not seem to attack ethical values head on than being more in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
