Moodle is used for blended learning, distance education, flipped classroom and

With customizable management features, it is used to create
private websites with online courses for educators and trainers to achieve
learning goals.
Gnomio however, say that they are not a company, but rather a group
of Moodle fans working together. They are providing SCROM(Sharable Content
Object Reference Model) For presenting multimedia content and animations and
also As an assessment tool.
