Khushi conducts an intensive therapy program called GEMS where children receive either 2-hour sessions including occupational therapy and special education, or 1-hour sessions of occupational therapy or behavior therapy. New children are assessed by a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, counselor, or special educator to determine goals, which are discussed with parents and revisited monthly. Parents observe sessions every other week to discuss progress and re-assessments. Therapists provide goal sheets after review meetings and copies to parents upon request.

6.  Khushi started with individual sessions for kids
 At present, Khushi conducts an intensive therapy programme
named 'GEMS' where kids come either for 2hrs session or 1hr
session.
 Kids who are part of GEMS for 2 hrs session are given 1 hr for
occupational therapy session one hour of special education session
or behavior therapy as needed. 1 hr sessions are of occupational
therapy or behavior therapy as required.

7.  Every new child goes through a session with either a
physiotherapist or occupational therapist and
counselor or special educator in accordance to the
requirement of the child
 Then, the team lists down goals for the child which
are discussed in detail with parents
 The goals are again revisited after a month to
discuss the progress and improvement of the child

8.  Parents observe their child’s sessions every alternate
week
 Re-assessment or goals are discussed once a month
 The goals are then evaluated in consultation with the
parents

9.  All the therapist have to send the goal sheets after every
review meeting to the parents. If asked, hardcopy of the
same is also given to parents.
