19. How Do I Write?
• Tell a story
• Write in a conversational voice
• Don’t worry about the length; just
write what you need to tell a story
• Read it out loud
• Have someone else read it
• Use spell check and grammar

20. What About Photographs?
• High quality photographs are required
• For print reproduction, photos must be
at least 300 dpi or 1MB
• For web reproduction, 72 dpi is fine
• Use the fine or highest setting on a
digital camera
• Shoot in natural light
• Keep backgrounds as simple as possible.

• Get a good idea

• Write to the audience
• Find a publisher (one at a time)
• Be ready to be rejected
• Submit until someone likes your idea
