medicine, agriculture and for fun.
In 1974, the first GM animal, a mice was born.
In 80s first patent to microbe engineered to absorb oil was
given.
The first GM food, Flavr Savr tomato was sold in 1994.
In 1990s, three parent babies.

Faster, Cheaper, Easier, Precise tool for genetic
engineering.
Can edit live cells.
Cost of GE reduced by 99%.
Experiments taking a year can be done in weeks.
Anybody with a lab can do it.
It literally has the potential to change humanity
