This document provides information about the IELTS reading section of the general training exam. It is divided into 3 sections with authentic texts from various sources. The questions include short answer questions, multiple choice, sentence completion, notes/summary/diagram completion, identifying writer's views, and identifying true/false information. Section 1 contains 2-3 short factual texts and questions involve matching information, true/false/not given questions, and short answers. Contains two short factual texts focusing on work-related issues (e.g. applying for
jobs, company policies, pay and conditions, workplace facilities, staff development and
training). This have longer sentences with more complex language than in section 1.
