These are basically fill in the blanks type of questions (except
MC questions). In these kind of questions, you will be given
several sentences with gaps and asked to complete the
sentences with words from the reading text.

task you will be given a
summary of a part of the
passage and you will be
asked to complete it with
information drawn from
the text. The given
information will be in the
form of several short
notes.

6. Flow Chart
Completion
In the flow chart completion
task you will be given a
summary of a part of the
passage and you will be asked
to complete it with information
drawn from the text. The given
information will be in the form
of a series of boxes or steps
linked by arrows (referred to as
a flow-chart) to show a
sequence of events, with some
of the boxes or steps partially

In the sentence
completion task you will
be given a summary of a
part of the passage and
you will be asked to
complete it with

the text. The given

completion task you will
be given a summary of a

sentences, and you will

10. Diagram Label
Completion
In the diagram label
completion task you will see a
diagram may be of some type
of machine, or of parts of a
building or of any other
element that can be
represented pictorially. You
will be required to complete
labels on the diagram, which
relates to a description
contained in the text.

11. Multiple Choice
Questions
In the multiple choice
questions task you will be
asked to choose the best
answer from four alternatives
(A, B, C or D),
Or the best two answers from
five alternatives (A, B, C, D or
E),
Or the best three answers
from seven alternatives (A, B,

17. Matching Features
(Names)
In the matching features task you
will be required to match a set of
statements to a list of options.
For example, to match different
research findings to a list of
researchers, or characteristics to
age groups, events to historical
periods, etc.
The options will be identified by
letters A, B, D….

18. • In this group you will find:
Identifying Information – Ture/False/Not Given
