This document compares the games Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne. NPC – Not playable character this character is a npc
that is AI controlled as an enemy in this game you run
in to them on your way to the different boss battles
they can be difficult in different locations.
Architecture – The scenery in the background is old
centaury design and matches to the setting of castles
and dragons middle age style buildings which is a nice
look overall. The background design changes in
different locations it goes to snow on the dlc then to
ash, to forests etc… this gives great visuals and
different things to look forward to when working
through the game.
Terrain – The terrain in this changes dependent on
where about in the game you are at different
locations there are different types of paths that you
will have to get through with different scenery, with
this game you have no map and the terrain can be
difficult this is an issue when trying to find where to
go next and can be a huge cause of death. The terrain
mixed with the difficult npc in the terrain makes it a
challenge to explore and find the way through of
course once you know were to go you can just run
through it.

• Dark souls 3 and bloodbourne similarities
- One similarity of this is the fighting style of how you
hit the enemy and this is a good feature because it’s
a really good fighting style that works really well
with RPG.
- The level up system is the same as it adds in the
ability to create stats for your self and play style
from this can give you the ability to get different
weapons and this leads to your very own unique
play style and both of the games have this and it is
what makes them both similar but also unique.
- Options to choose different armour sets of outfits
that improve stats based on following through the
story and this adds reason to keep playing in order
to improve stats.
- The bosses are also on both game with the same
style but you have to fight them with a slightly
different fighting style.
- There's a sanctuary where you go to level up, and
this is also the end of the game place as well
creating a big similarity.
• Dark souls 3 and bloodbourne differences
- On dark souls the dodging is different to bloodbourne
although your fighting style is the same on dark souls
your dodge is a roll, on bloodbourne it’s a step back and
both work only for the bosses and enemy that are in
both games and this would affect how the different
games would play so it is a good difference.
- dark souls has a different story to bloodbourne and has
a different time period as dark souls time period is a
middle ages type of setting where as bloodbourne is
more of a 1800s England.
- The weapon styles are different on dark souls 3 you can
2 hand a weapon but in bloodbourne you pull out a
second part to the weapon, on dark souls york press

- The co op for them is different on dark souls its easy
with a password system to summon friends or just to
summon other phantoms you are able to change the
set up however to summon people to your world you
have to chime a bell and you have no grantee that your
friends can join you, this is a difference ad a down side
to it.
