1. Legend of Zelda – A Link to the Past - Review
Game
We played a game called The Legend of Zelda, A link to the past and the game play is an average
game since it had less movement and direction of the controls of the character and also the
fighting system is okay on how the way it had a lot of multiple moves when you attack and it only
attack when you are facing a four way direction, you can also put combos on the attacks by mixing
up also the controls of the game how it is kind of hard to play but it will take on some getting used
to at the start. But for the game which is decent for a RPG game. The background music for the
game was kind of bad as well since it was really annoying on how it repeats and the way it sounds
you can tell the makers of the game didn't put a lot of thought onto it by maybe rushing it or
something. The only good about the game was the graphics considering it was a pretty old game
they did a good job on trying to make the graphics decent enough for the audience it shows how in
depth the graphics is when you can see the rain and the atmosphere around the game.
How did it feel?
When I played the game at the start I never played any type of Zelda game but when I started
playing it was really confusing on how the controls was really complicated and I’m not sure if
anyone got any lagging situation when they were playing but when I played the game it was really
lagging and the main character was really hard since he was moving really slow and moves in
certain direction because of it. But overall when I played the game I realized everything was all
repetitive on how you always kill the guards, bosses and get the key to go to the next room and find
different secret weapons. And getting a treasure chest to get different types of items on the game
but to be honest I think the game is good overall since it was a retro type game. The developers
tried to make the game next gen back in the days when it came out with all the different types of
effects and all of the new weapons you can get it was pretty good on how they put a lot of effort
on the game on how the retro looking vintage type of game is like.
The Story
The story on the game is very common on other types of games like for example like Mario it had a
similarity story to it on how you have to rescue someone and save the princess on the game but at
the same time the game gave it a different type of feeling to Mario, it had a more of a serious type
of theme to it and how you have to save her by defeating the boss on the game. Since I have never
played any Legends of Zelda game I think they made a good story on how they showed it on the
game, the developers showed that they concentrated on the story on finding the similarities
between Mario but had a bit change on like how you have to get through dark dungeons and had the
similar ideas, but changed some parts of it like finding secret weapons on the game by making your
character stronger and better throughout different levels on the game. This gave like a classic
vintage feeling to the game and back then it was really popular at that time and that's how people
got into the game in that time.
Identify
Legends of Zelda had some similar type of feel to any other RPG game but this is the only game
that I've haven't played on and for a retro type of game I think the developers made a good job on
this game even though there were faults on the game overall they focused on some things that can
balance the game from being good and bad. Like game play wise the way you control your

2. character and how the fighting system works and the difficulty of the enemy guards on the game,
this made the game more challenging and harder to play and tests your skill. graphics wise on the
game I thought that it was really good for a vintage game the developers on the game tried to make
it as good as possible on how the movement on the game and how your main character moves
around the game and how he interacts to things, they just did a good job on the graphics wise but
on the downside on the game I would say is the sound of the game, it's just very annoying on how
it's really repetitive and very high pitched the developers should have put more thought on the
sound on the game and tried to make it suit within the game.
