This document summarizes a study on the effects of supercharging and using blends of diesel fuel and tyre pyrolysis oil on the performance and emissions of a diesel engine. The researchers conducted experiments on a single cylinder diesel engine using diesel fuel alone and then blends of 10%, 20%, and 30% tyre pyrolysis oil with diesel. The engine was run at a constant speed of 1500 rpm under 1.5 bar of supercharging pressure. Results were compared between the different fuel blends and to diesel alone.
