INTRODUCTION
 Controlling and operating the home appliances such as lighting equipment, kitchen
appliances, air conditioning and heating, audio/video system in automatic modes
conveniently.
 Home control system is where different sensors corresponding to the home
appliances with the appropriate actuators of a central controller.
 Combination of new technology Internet of Things.
 Using Raspberry pi
 Controlled using mobile devices via the Android based user interface
 Read signal from the mobile phone and response to control the
devices according to the received signal by switch ON or OFF
HOME AUTOMATION
SYSTEM
Fuzzy logic is a form of many-valued logic;
 It deals with reasoning that is approximate
rather than fixed and exact.
 In contrast with traditional logic theory, where
binary sets have two-valued logic: true or false,
fuzzy logic variables may have a truth value
that ranges in degree between 0 and 1
FUZZY LOGIC
ALGORITHM
 People with disabilities face the
problem
 Electricity wastage
 Waste time
PROBLEM STATEMENT
OBJECTIVE
6
 To design the Smart Home System, air
conditioner and lighting control anywhere at
any time
 To implement the design of the model into
Smart Home System
 To test and evaluate whether the Smart
Home System developed is fully functioned.
This project focuses on two scope:
1. Scope of client which is to all people that has
house
2. Scope of technology which is this technology
will use Raspberry pi kit
SCOPE
LIMITATION
 Work in a wireless network connection only
to send the signal
 Only use the battery for power supply

SMART HOME
AUTOMATION SYSTEM
Smart home automation
system is a web based
application that allows user to
monitor home appliances
using mobile devices. This
system established for the
entire home user after gaining
access from administrator.
This system includes remote
control and monitoring
domestic appliances, security
and energy management.

System (HAS)
using Android for
Mobile Phone
Home Automation System (HAS)
has been designed for mobile
phones having Android platform to
automate a Bluetooth interfaced
microcontroller which controls a
number of home appliances like
lights, fans, bulbs and many more
using
on/off relay.

Android Based
Automation System
for the next
Generation of
Technology using
Wi-Fi
HAS developed from an android
application
based on Raspberry Pi. A system uses Wi-
Fi technology as a communication protocol
to connect system components. A home
automation system consist of two main
components; the first part is android
application that can give orders to units
that one wishes to control by locally or
remotely and the second part is Raspberry
Pi that has an appropriate interface to
sensors and appliances of a home
automation system and communicates with
android application through wireless
technology
