3. MEANING OF MANAGEMENT
Management means deciding and doing. The person
who performs these functions are called managers
and as body is called management.
The term management is used in four ways:
a) As a body of individuals responsible for
managing the affairs of an enterprise.
b) As a branch of study covering such aspects of
management such as principles, techniques,
functions, and responsibilities.
