Dulles Interchange (Fairfax County, Virginia), Transportation
Provide 30% preliminary drainage design for expansion of I-495 capital Beltway and Dulles toll road
interchange which included additions of eight new ramps to the existing ramps and realignment of some of
the existing ramps. Task included study of contributing watersheds to the Scotts run, HEC-RAS Modeling,
layout of storm drainage system, existing major culvert expansion and analysis, work done in Micro-station

I-495 HOT Lane Review (Fairfax County, Virginia), Transportation
As part of VDOT GEC contract drainage review of Design-Built plans for 14 miles construction of I-495 HOT
lanes (High Occupancy Toll) from Springfield interchange to Tyson’s corner. (2009).

2. Lorton Road (Fairfax County, Virginia), Transportation
Propose vertical alignment, generating roadway and road side grading, create roadway templates, earthwork
analysis for about 3.0 miles of four lanes raised and ditch median new roadway. (2009)
Woodlands at Berea, (Stafford County, Virginia), LD
Design/mange and coordinates preliminary and engineering plans for a 51 Ac. Property for development of
26 one and three Ac. residential lots. Activities included development of frontage to the site entrance
including right turn lane, street, water line plan and profiles, culvert and ditch calculations, erosion and
sediment control plans and bond estimate, grading and earth work analysis. (Completed Dec.2008)
Riverside Business Park, (Stafford County, Virginia), LD
Preparation of construction plans for Riverside business Park Addition project involved development of 38.8
acres wooded site for six commercial buildings on a hilly terrain in an environmentally sensitive area bordered
by Resources Protection Area (RPA) and flood plain. Project consists of construction of a two story office
building and five retail buildings, with total area of about 275,000 SF. Project included construction of 1,100 lf
of new 40’ curb and gutter roadway, crossing two streams with proposing two major 96-in and 102-in triple
culverts, parking, storm water management in form of bio-filters, sanitary sewer outfall. Plats creating right of
ways, lots and all necessary easements in conformance with the plans were created and submitted to
Stafford County for recordation. (2006-2007)
Staffordshire, Hulls Chapel Road, (Stafford County, Virginia), Transportation
Design/mange realignment / improvement and extension of over 1.5 mile of existing gravel road for new
subdivision, supervise and provide technical assistance for the design team to prepare construction plans for
this 36-ft wide road. Scope of the project included proposal of vertical alignment, two major crossing triple and
quadruple 72” and 90” culverts of waterways crossings, improvements of two existing entrance and proposed
three additional intersections, preparations of grading plans and erosion sediment control entities and storm
water management ponds. Coordination for preparation of pump station, preparation of plan and profile for
construction of 10,900 lf of force main from pump station to nearest outfall. (2005-2006)
Celebrate Virginia North. (Stafford county Virginia), LD
Lead designer, supervise other staff to prepare calculation for Water, Storm and Sanitary plans and profiles
for 487 retirement community housing. (Completed 2006)
Aquia Force Main relocation, (Stafford county Virginia), LD
Design/mange development and construction plans for 3,400 lf of 18-in Force Main alignment to replace
existing 8-in and 10-in sanitary gravity sewer. (Completed Nov. 2005)
Route I improvements, (Stafford County Virginia), Transportation
Widening of one side of 2,000-ft Route I (Jefferson Davis HWY), with 19,000 V.P.D. in Stafford County, to
provide turn lanes and two new entrances for a new subdivision, design included transition of the new lanes
to existing lanes and extension of existing box culvert. (Project Approved Dec.2005)
Carl D. Silver Parkway, (City of Fredericksburg, Virginia), Transportation
Extension of 7,500-lf of 6 lane transition to 4 lane divided Carl D. Silver Parkway, layout of the road and
propose vertical alignment, VDOT TC-5 super-elevation method was applied for grading of this curb & gutter
section parkway, provide ten entrances and three intersections for 27 future site retail pads. Project included
a bridge to cross waters of U.S., storm sewer and storm water management design, Water and 8,300-lf of
sanitary force main, 15,500-lf of sanitary gravity sewer, including a pump station which was prepared under
separate project. (Project approved late 2004)
Browns Farm Street Reconstruction, (Spotsylvania County, Virginia), Transportation
Improvement to the Gordon road and Browns street intersection, layout to widen intersection to provide left
and right turn lane, Realignment and redesign of 2,600 LF-two lane ditch section of existing Browns Farm
street for new subdivisions including providing two entrances for future subdivision. Project involved propose
of vertical alignment, utility design, coordination with other firms for construction of the proposed 72 ft wide
bridge crossing wetlands

3. Edwards Landing, 2004 Town of Leesburg, Virginia, LD
Two sections,104 single family houses and a recreation center on a 49.7 acre property, Provide civil
engineering design for the project such as subdivision streets design preparation of road profiles,
grading, utility layout and design calculations, utility profiles, erosion and sediment control design
according to state and local criteria.
Potomac Station Apartments, 2002 Town of Leesburg, Virginia, LD
Construction plans for six residential apartment buildings, a club house and an outdoor pool.
