completion thereof. I served in a variety of roles throughout the procurement, design and construction
management.
Reata Wash Flood Control Study, Scottsdale, AZ
I served as the Water Resource Engineer on behalf of ASLD, providing project review and technical
assistance during the project study phase. I provided technical knowledge of existing drainage,
public utilities, mitigation monitoring and permitting requirements. This purpose of this project is to
identify and recommend flood control measures that will reduce flood risks to residents, property and
public infrastructure within the Reata Wash floodplain. Utilized MS Project and Hec-RAS and Hec-
HMS

Chemehuevi Wastewater Expansion Project, Lake Havasu City, AZ
Recently, I served as the Resident Engineer and Project Manager for a multi-million dollar sanitary
sewer expansion district in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. This required overall project management
and administration, engineering and inspection staff coordination and management, site construction
management and administration, construction pay quantities, resident interaction, federal and state
wage program administration and sanitary sewer testing / permitting through ADEQ. Utilized MS
Project.
Construction Cost: $10.5M
Duration: 365 days
Client: City of Lake Havasu, AZ
Title/Role: Resident Engineer (Atkins Global)
Hankinson Ethanol Plant Site Improvements, Hankinson, ND
A recent assignment provided the opportunity for me to design, assemble and complete plans for the
grading/drainage (Phase I) and the utilities/roadways (Phase II) for a proposed ethanol plant located
in SE North Dakota. The successful plans and subsequent construction management solidified
possibilities that future sites would be granted to MEI. Utilized MS Project and Microstation V8.
Construction Cost: $3.5M
Duration: 185 days
Client: Fagen Engineering, Inc.
Title/Role: Design Engineer / Construction Manager (Municipal Engineering)

City of Newfolden Wastewater Improvements, Newfolden, MN
I served a Lead Design Engineer and Construction Manager for the total replacement and expansion
of the entire wastewater piping system for the City of Newfolden. This further involved the
replacement of several outdated pumping stations and pressure piping. The pumping system was
with remote SCADA controls for ease of operation and monitoring. Utilized Microstation V8 and MS
Project.
Construction Cost: $1.75M
Duration:185 days
Client: City of Newfolden, MN
Title/Role: Design Engineer / Construction Manager (Floan-Sanders)
City of Warren Wastewater Pump Stations, Warren, MN
The entire wastewater pumping system was replaced, along with the necessary pressure piping
system. All pump stations were equipped with remote SCADA controls and monitoring stations. I
served a lead design engineer and construction manager during the entire construction phase and
startup. Utilized Microstation V8 and MS Project.

Client: City of Warren, MN
Title/Role: Design Engineer / Construction Manager (Floan-Sanders)
City of Minot Conference Center, Minot, ND
I served as project superintendent for this project, working with the contractor. This was the first
opportunity to work on the construction side of a project, versus the design and engineering side.
This project provided valuable construction experience, working directly with the contractor and
construction team. Utilized MS Project and Microstation V8.
Construction Cost: $4.75M
Duration: 160 days
Client: Minot, ND Park District
Title/Role: Construction Superintendent (Floan-Sanders)
Maricopa County Storm Water Diversion Project, Maricopa County, AZ
I have served as the Design Engineer for numerous public projects that involved environmental
hydrology issues in order to resolve the repeated overflow of a drain way that flowed through an
established residential neighborhood utilizing a series of retention and detention ponds. This was
completed utilizing a storm sewer design program named Hec-RAS as developed by the US Army
Corp of Engineers. We were able to provide the necessary combination of retention and detention for
the given storm water flows to prevent flooding of the downstream floodway or drain way that was in
direct contact with the residential homes. Utilized Hec-RAS, MS Project and AutoCAD throughout
project duration.
Construction Cost: $850K
Duration: 120 days
Client: Maricopa County, AZ
