A Trip To Panama City Beach
Once upon a time there was a family of five named the Parks. The Parks family included three
children and their two parents who lived in Elkhorn, California. There were two girls and one boy out
of the children. Their names were Emma, Naomi, and Lucas. Emma is fifteen years old, Naomi is four
years old, and Lucas is thirteen years old. They were all planning to take a trip to Panama City Beach,
Florida for their summer vacation. They wanted to go and explore the unique restaurants, surf shops,
high cliffs, and the beautiful nature there that they did not have in California. Everyone was thrilled to
soak up some sun on the beach and explore the beautiful region although, Lucas had the California
State Surfing Conference on his mind.
Lucas was very focused on practicing his surfing for the very important California State Surfing
Conference. Every day. Lucas practices ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Lucas and Emma laughed at all of the ridiculous faces and knock knock jokes Naomi made.(Even
though some of the jokes didn t make any sense whatsoever!) Naomi repetitively chanted at Lucas,
You smell like poo poo, you smell like poo poo, you smell like doggy doo doo! Lucas laughed with
the rest of the family because of his sisters silly chant. Lucas was a very fun person to be around and
loved to spend time with his family. Although. once he is about to surf, he immediately focuses on
surfing and zones everything else out.
Once the Parks family arrived in Panama City Beach, they checked into their hotel and plopped on the
purple pillows that were properly lyed on their beds and relaxed after their exhausting car ride. . After
an hour nap, the kids were desperate to go to the beach to play in the damp sand, soak up some
soothing sunlight, and ride the huge waves. Their parents let them go to the beach every day of the
week as long as they were together in the atmosphere hotter than the inside of a

How Does Willy Russell Create Mood and Atmosphere in the...
In the Summer Sequence Willy Russell s three main protagonists are shown to grow up from the ages
of 15 to 18, thus becoming adults throughout the song. This means that the sequence acts as a
watershed in the respect that it marks a major turning point in the play. This is shown through the
atmosphere that Russell creates, which goes from fairly positive, hopeful tone to a more cynical and
desperate one over the duration of the sequence. Russell uses several techniques to create these
atmospheres throughout.
In the opening of the Summer Sequence the atmosphere is clearly a happy one, which is shown by
Russell by using words like young, free and innocent to describe the characters. In this section, the
word innocent is used twice. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This explicitly refers to the brothers fate in a way in which the last section didn t, so the tone is far
more marred by the eventuality of their deaths. This date is also referenced when Russell extends the
metaphor, fate the later seasons bring , which causes the audience to remember the scene at the very
beginning of the play, preventing them from being drawn into the initial happiness of the three
teenagers in this sequence. Again, it refers to Linda being caught in the middle of the pair,
foreshadowing their final argument.
It also refers to Linda paying a price , a theme that was initially shown in the song Easy Terms , sung
by Mrs Johnstone, and in both cases foreshadows the price they ll have to pay for their involvement in
the twins lives. The music becomes far more serious and sinister, a repetitive tense note with no actual
melody.
In the next section a recurring theme is shown with the references to time. This creates a sad,
melancholic atmosphere, as the audience is aware of the character s significant lack of time together,
but the characters are not, so their happy unawareness and this dramatic irony is slightly poignant.
Again, fate is reference by the narrator care not for what s at the end of the day , again forcing the
audience to remember the fate of the boys, this

Egg Freezing After a Cancer Diagnosis
A diagnosis of cancer inspired Victoria to look into egg freezing
Victoria came to Fertility Answers for egg freezing after she was diagnosed with nodular lymphocyte
predominant Hodgkin lymphoma, a rare and slow growing type of Hodgkin lymphoma. As part of her
cancer treatment, she was prescribed Rituxan. Since it s unknown whether the drug can cause fertility
problems, her oncologist at MD Anderson Cancer Center recommended that she visit a fertility
specialist to find out about egg freezing.

I think they realized that it was important to get me in fast because of my cancer, said Victoria.
At her first appointment, Victoria met Dr. Storment with her boyfriend and her mother. Speaking with
Dr. Storment about egg freezing immediately put her at ease. According to Victoria, He is so
wonderful. He took the time to answer my millions of questions, and it feels like I ve known him for a
long time.
The consultation with Dr. Storment convinced Victoria that egg freezing was the right move for her,
and she is beginning the process now. After I found out I have cancer, I felt as if I wasn t in control of
my life. Choosing to freeze my eggs made me feel empowered and in charge of my future. I also knew
I d regret it if I didn t do it, said Victoria.
Victoria won t let cancer stop her from becoming a mother
I didn t have much control over the cancer, but I had control over the decision to freeze my eggs
before beginning treatment in hopes of having children one day, said Victoria. She recommends that
other women in her position also consider egg freezing. You can t tell the future, but it s important to

Tutankhamun Burial
Ancient Egypt revolved around the belief that one was reborn after death and would be guaranteed
eternal life if the body was preserved and buried properly. Tutankhamun became a pharaoh of Egypt at
the age of nine during the 18th Dynasty. His rain lasted approximately 10 years when he died
unexpectedly and consequently his tomb and burial was rushed leaving him with a much smaller and
less impressive tomb that was common for 18th dynasty tombs. Tutankhamun s tomb was discovered
still sealed by British archaeologist Howard Carter in 1922 in the Valley of the Kings. Evidently, as to
the undersized scale of the tomb it was hardly touched by grave robbers as every other tomb had been,
leaving the modern world with great treasures and artefacts ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

These paintings, through limited, show evidence that Tutankhamun s funeral preparations comply with
Osirin burial customs. The paintings depict scenes of Tutankhamun s preparation and voyage to the
afterworld. The northern wall of the burial room portray scenes from the Opening of the mouth
ceremony and Tutankhamun, followed by his Ka, being greeted by Osiris. The Opening of the mouth
ceremony was perfumed by Ay, Tutankhamun s successor as he had no heirs to the throne, and it
allowed the deceased to be reborn again in the afterlife and keep all his senses. Tutankhamun is
greeted by the sky goddess Nut who is a symbol of resurrection, representing the dead pharaoh being
reborn into the afterlife. A scarab beetles is displayed above a solar boat on the wast wall symbolising
new life and the twelve baboon deities represent the hours of the night the pharaoh must travel to be
reborn. On the southern wall of the burial room Tutankhamun is pictured being welcomed to the
afterlife by Isis, Horus and Anubis. Both Horus and Anubis are holding Ankhs which convey
Tutankhamun s eternal life in the afterworld. Each wall depicts a different scenes with the similar
theme of resurrection, new life and eternal life, all concepts associated with Osirian funerary

HIV In Haiti
Haiti is one of the regions with the highest HIV infection rate, especially in Caribbean. About 3% of
adults are infected. The reason for that are poverty, sexual partners, gender, and almost non existing
health care.
The epidemic started in late 70s due to prostitution, blood transfusion and unprotected sex. Around the
same time the epidemic was discovered in the USA, and the virus was found in Haitians immigrants.
Because of that Haiti become one of the risk factors for HIV. The stigma brought disastrous
consequences to the whole country, including the collapse of tourism.
At the beginning, the disease was associated with male homosexual behavior, but the virus spread
quickly to the heterosexual population. Now women are more likely to get infected than man because
of their lower position in society. Rape, unprotected sex and prostitution increase their chances of HIV.
Most of the pregnant women with HIV gave it to their children. Now a lot of efforts are taken to
prevent it. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Haitian Red Cross and other organizations work hard to help and educate people about AIDS/HIV,
safe sexual practice and give access to condoms. All the efforts bring optimistic results. Over the past
decade, new HIV infection rate decreased by 54%.
Huge progress can be noted especially in urban area. Unfortunately rural areas still required a lot of
help, mostly basic education about AIDS/HIV prevention.
There is a significant drop in percentage of people with HIV in Haiti, but there s still a lot of work
ahead to change the overall situation. Especially because the country has to struggle with other
epidemics and natural disasters like the earthquake in 2010, which only slows down the process of

Fractal Time
FRACTAL TIME (ESSAY) Introduction In his book, first published in 2009, Fractal Time: The Secret
of 2012 and a New World Age , Gregg Braden gave wonderful clues into what we would expect to
occur in our world and universe by the year 2012. Though years have passed since the first publication
of the book, the information in the book remains relevant to us today. Gregg labours to elaborate how
it is possible to read the past in order to discover what the future holds for us in our world and
universe, and amazingly, even in our personal lives and relationships. This paper is written in order to
analyse the Fractal Time book to find out what practical lessons we can pick from it. Personal views

He begins by stating that even if the conditions of the past can keep on repeating, the events do not
have to repeat, except we choose. He makes it clear that we have a choice to make, either to take a
step for better or for worse. He solidifies this point by providing us with important discoveries, like
the Quantum Energy theory, the power of positive emotions and our Heart s Magnetic field influence
on our environment all of which depend on the power of our choice. Gregg clarifies that a growing
number of scientists have arrived at an inescapable conclusion that there s a place called The Realm of
Quantum Energy. These scientists have concluded that it is at this place where all things begin, and
where all things are possible and the kind of thoughts, feelings, emotions, and beliefs we choose to
have at this point is what will influence the results of our circumstances regardless of the conditions
we may be faced with. In this place it is believed, the atoms of matter are influenced by thought,
feeling, emotion, and belief to become the reality of our world. This quantum energy place is created
at the start of every cycle. Lessons Realized from the Book I have deduced quite a number of lessons
from the book, nevertheless I will choose to talk about what I think are the most important ones to me.
Firstly, I have learnt that it is vital to reflect on our past, because in it we find the evident cycles of the
future which

Symbolism In The Veldt
While money can t buy happiness, it certainly lets you choose your own form of misery (Groucho
Marx). Money and pride are two things can prove extremely destructive to a family s relationship with
each other. The short story, The Veldt effectively demonstrates how so. This story is the first of an
anthropology, The Illustrated Man , written by Ray Bradbury, who is also known for writing the
successful book, The Martian Chronicles . In The Veldt , Bradbury proves the theme that pride and
money should not get in the way of living through the use of symbolism and dialogue. Bradbury uses
symbolism throughout the text. One example is the Happylife Home, a symbol of the pride and money
that ruined the lives of the Hadley family.

How Inmates Are Assessed During The Booking Process Essay
Karissa Coffey
Methods
Sampling The sample for this study is accumulated by individuals in the criminal justice system
including law enforcement, corrections officers, and mental health analysts that are involved with
individuals that are being booked or process in Ada County Jail. The individuals that are being
analyzed are mentally ill and homeless that has been booked into Ada County Jail in Boise, Idaho that
requires treatment for mental health issues. This research will be gathered from a probability sampling
technique. Since the individuals being questioned are typically homeless or continually entered into
the system, the data being analyzed will already be entered into the system. Therefor this study will be
conducted using a simple or systematic random sampling technique. The research will analyze how
inmates are assessed during the booking process. The study conducted will be gathered from both the
inmates and the corrections staff. The information that is assembled from the questionnaires will help
the researchers to analyze the mental health for inmates. This could potentially help professionals to
treat and diagnose the incoming individuals with mental health issues. This research sampling method
would be useful in this study because it takes the entire population of homeless individuals with
mental illnesses and are chosen randomly. This gives a better chance of getting new information from
individuals from both the staff perspectives and the inmates.

Compare the ways in which the poet presents people in night of the scorpion and one other poem?
Night of the scorpion is a poem about a woman getting stung by a scorpion and the events that follow
it. The poem two scavengers... is about the comparison between two garbage men and a couple going
to work. Although the two poems sound totally different, they both convey the message about equality
in society.
In night of the scorpion the people are peasants. They are religious people. The crowd of peasants

He even poured a little paraffin upon the bitten toe and put a match on it. Although the father does not
believe in the religious side of the society he tried all of them at the thought of loosing his wife. After
all of the events that happened she only was grateful that it took her and not one of her children. The
author does not clearly state his opinion of this, but he is clearly affected by it or he would have not
mentioned it. The poem two scavengers... only has descriptions of the two sets of people for
comparative purposes. These being the garbage men and the cool couple. The poet might prefer the
garbage men, this is due to the words he uses to describe the garbage men. The garbage men up since
four a.m. grungy from their route on the way home. This shows that the author feels sympathy for the
two men, having to do the hard tasks that they do. The final verse suggests that the two sets of people
should perhaps not be treated so differently. The cool couple are treated as special people and have it
easy where as the Garbage men have hard tasks to do but are treated much worse than the couple. This
conveys the point that there should be equality in society.
The language used in night of the scorpion has a very religious aspect to it. This shows the peasants
beliefs in god. The break in the structure before the last 3 lines shows the impression of the child
watching the mother, this could be the poet or maybe just an idea,

Dangers Of Apathy By Merriam Webster
Dangers of Apathy Merriam Webster defines the word apathy as a lack of feeling, emotion, interest, or
concern. The FY16 Chief Petty Officer Selects, however, feel that there is more to this word. Pure
apathy is the personal choice of removing any and all shred of interest or concern to a particular
person, place, or thing. This individual choice can be depicted in a variety of ways. One of these ways
is doing just enough to get by, or flying under the RADAR, as some may put it. This type of behavior
can be extremely dangerous for many reasons, one of the biggest reasons is that it could lead to
someone losing their life. For instance, the job of a Cryptologic Technician is to gather vital, time

Even worse, the occurrence of death, or the likelihood thereof, is of no importance to someone with
this level of apathy. They allow the sickness of apathy to guide their lives. The choice to care, or not
care, remains in their hands. However, they are blinded by the despair that they either cannot see they
have the choice to change their view, or they just do not care. As stated above, apathy can help
motivate some people. In fact, the Greeks had an entirely different idea behind the word apathy. In the
original Greek word, apatheia was defined as the insensibility to pain or suffering. The Greeks had an
idea that one should push through and even ignore pain. In this way of thinking, the Greeks believed
being they could be objective or impartial due to non suffering. When properly reflected upon, apathy
can, in fact, inspire a person to push past the fear of pain or failure. It is important to understand that
failure will happen, yet when it does we must bounce back, learn from our mistakes, and press on. We
cannot hide from failure, it will come regardless, or we will grow apathetic to the situation. If we truly
have an interest in the goal, then it is imperative to stand up and face what may happen. While it may
hurt, and may even in fact frighten us, we must push forward. We must not concern ourselves with the
pain, the fear, and the failure and focus on the goal. We may learn from all of these.

Motown Sound Research Paper
Most music aficionados credit Marvin Gaye, a popular American singer, songwriter, and record
producer in the 1960s, with developing the Motown Sound. ( Motown Sound was a phrase coined by
the Motown record label. The phrase was trademarked and formed the basis of a new genre of music;
in fact, the genre was referred to as Motown because the Motown record label produced the majority
of songs that created the new genre). The Motown Sound is characterized by tambourines, which
accented the backbeat, as well as electric bass guitar lines, call and response singing style, which
originated from gospel music, and charted horn sections. (Chin 1). Before his death in 1984, Gaye
recorded many songs that contributed to the Motown Sound. In 1969,

A Comparative Analysis of the Characters of King Lear and...
Kurosawa and Shakespeare Introduction: The greatest narratives in human history don t just resurface
in critical analysis but are also given new life when channeled through modern media. This is well
exemplified by legendary Japanese filmmaker Akira Kurosawa s 1985 epic, Ran. The highly regarded
and high budgeted film, based on William Shakespeare s 1606 play King Lear, demonstrates the
power retained by the original play even when dramatically recontextualized. Indeed, in a comparative
discussion of King Lear and Hidetora, his counterpart in the Kurosawa film, we are confronted with
the universal themes of power, mortality, vanity and insanity. These are the themes that connect not
just both pieces but the otherwise vastly historical periods and cultures represented within. Compare:
The strongest point of comparison between the two characters in question is their mutual descent into
mental instability and the degree to which this influences their behavior. Indeed, the common ground
in the two stories is at the outset, when an ailing ruler is manipulated into divided his kingdom
amongst his children. This division of territories, an event stimulated by individual vanity and
infirmity, would have consequences kingdom wide. The unraveling of civility and familial bonds
which would occur thereafter is common to both tellings. Contrast: Perhaps the most important
conceptual difference between the fading monarch presented in either story is the degree to which

Rembrandt s Christ In The Storm On The Sea Of Galilee
A painting captures a single moment. Most of the time, the audience does not see what happens before
and after the moment of the piece, but Rembrandt s Christ in the Storm on the Sea of Galilee is his
depiction of Mark 4:35:39, a story that most children learn in Sunday School. Mark 4:35 36 tells the
moments before the storm: On that day, when evening had come, He told them, Let s cross over to the
other side of the sea. So they left the crowd and took Him along since He was already in the boat. And
other boats were with Him (The Bible). Rembrandt fabricates the scene of verse 37 and 38: A fierce

For instance, he works with a variety of shades of black within the murky storm clouds. Raetta Parker
notes, Black is a mysterious color associated with fear and the unknown and denotes strength (Parker).
For this purpose, Rembrandt uses the storm to symbolize the hard times, or storms , in a person s life.
In this case, the strength of the storm is overpowering the boat, making it hard for the disciples to keep
the boat from being destroyed and overtaken. By looking at the picture, the storm has cause one of the
riggings to break free from the boat and tore the sail, not standing a chance against the strong winds
the storm is throwing at them. Also, the dark colors of the overcast prevent the disciples from being
able to see the shores. There is no place for the disciples to dock the boat until the storm passes by,
stuck in the middle of the storm Comparing the painting to life s challenges, people can often be
broken emotionally or physically, whether it may be a death of a loved one or having to face a

The Impact Of 3d Printing On The Digital And Consumer...
1. Introduction
Additive layer manufacturing, also known as Three Dimensional (3D) printing, provides a unique
fabrication process that allows users to produce structurally complex components by the successive
fusion of layers [1]. This technique offers businesses and consumers the ability to quickly develop
custom components on demand and at a lower economical cost [2]. In 2016, a
PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC) report indicates that, out of 71% of US manufactures implementing
3D printing and 42% believe the volume of 3D printer use will increase in the next three to five years
[3].
The impact of 3D printing can already be seen in both industrial and consumer markets [2]. The 2015
Wohlers Associates report stated that 32.5% of all Additive manufactured objects were used for
functional components. Additionally, the report detailed the 3D printing industry accounted for $5.165
billion of revenue [4]. The aviation, medical, automotive, and manufacturing industries are currently
utilizing 3D printing [4 9]. Airbus, within the aviation industry, recently produced the world s largest
3D printed cabin component. The component produced is a dividing wall that sits between the
passenger seating and galley. General Electric is currently 3D printing jet engine fuel nozzles and
forecast that 100,000 parts will be created by their Aviation division using 3D printers by 2020 [10].

The political environment is likely to keep changing in at least some of the countries where Lloyds is
operating. If this is not mitigated it could have higher impact than 3.
2.2 Changes in regulation
Any changes in existing regulation could pose a threat to the company since it operates in regulated
markets. Failure to keep up with the regulation and abide by new rules immediately could have
negative impacts for the company. Prasant Manandhar, head pharmacist at Hemel Hempstead noted,
These companies could face problems with licensing, processing prescriptions or even with
regulations of product traceability and how products need to be stored etc. quite easily if the
regulations change even slightly.
This is a very regulated market, thus the regulation does not change very frequently however, since
Lloydspharmacy operates in more than 20 countries, it is possible that within the next 2 3 years, there
could be some changes in one or more of these countries. The impact is moderate because companies
are usually prepared for changes like these. Also the mitigation is not very difficult therefore with a
representative in major trade associations Lloyds can be prepared for it.
2.3 Changes in consumer behavior
Change in consumer behavior could negatively impact Lloydspharmacy. If customers spend less on

Definition Of Liberation Hermeneutics
tion of liberation theology. The option functions as a hermeneutical tool for interpreting reality and
theological sources.
It is therefore appropriate to introduce liberation hermeneutics as distinct from liberation theology
within the broad arena of social scientific interest in the Bible within which several sub disciplines
have taken on whole lives of their own, both in the sheer volume of literature published and in the
ideological stances they represent.
Theology
Liberation
hermeneutics
Liberation theology experience DEVELOPMENT OF LIBERATION HERMENEUTICS
Liberation hermeneutics developed a three part agenda. In opposition to the stated objectives of many
forms of classical theology, experience takes precedence over theory. The dominant experience of a
majority of people in the two thirds world, in which liberation theology emerged, is the experience of
poverty suffering malnutrition, lack of access to basic human rights, education, clean water, medicine
and the like. Hence first, a liberation hermeneutics begins with the experience of the injustice of
poverty. Second it attempts to analyse or assess the reasons of this impoverished existence. Third,
actions take precedence over rhetoric. Liberationists seek to determine a cause of corrective measures
based on their previous observations, insights and judgments. In the liberation hermeneutic, the Bible
does not normally come into play in step one of the three part agenda outlined above but only to aid in
steps two

summer, and before the family would fly down south for the winter. The family wanted him to fly
before they left, so he practiced for a week trying to fly. The family prepared and eventually left to
South America. The family lived like they did for 4 months and flew back when they thought it was a

The United States Department Of Education
The U.S. Department of Education provides supplemental funding to local school districts to meet the
needs of at risk and low income students. This funding is known as Title 1 funding and the schools
that receive a portion of this funding are referred to as Title 1 schools. Teachers in Title 1 schools
encounter students facing life struggles that many of us cannot imagine. Encouraging these students to
focus in school can be difficult, but it is essential to overcome the challenge in order for students to
achieve academically. Finding ways to engage Title 1 students can be a daunting task due to the fact
that they face daily struggles just to survive. However, teachers must use student motivation
techniques to engage these students. These techniques will assist in the students success in the
classroom. In education, student engagement refers to the degree of attention, curiosity, interest,
optimism, and passion that students show when they are learning or being taught, which extends to the
level of motivation they have to learn and progress in their education (Hidden Curriculum, 2014).
Every teacher encounters the challenge of getting students engaged in work in the classroom. While
some students enthusiastically walk into a classroom each day, others need motivation and inspiration
to focus in school. This issue is significant for school leaders because the role of the school is to
provide a place for students to engage and interact with knowledge. If students are not

Group Dynamics And Work Teams
Chapter 10 Group Dynamics and Work Teams
After analyzing Chapter 10, Group Dynamics and Work Teams, the new concept that was taken from
it was the model of Group Development. As a professional engineer, I have been a part of multiple
teams that were given the task of creative projects. As every project experiences their different
problems, ours did the same. The teams were successful in the end, but of course, the journey to those
successes were extremely difficult. Through the tough patches of the projects, the model of group
development would have helped the team to effortlessly flow in regards to actually building
relationships and achieving team goals. Coming from my viewpoint, I assumed the teams naturally
followed the process to some extent, but after being introduced to the Group Development Model, I
realized that we were not follow any type of process at all. Most times, problems occur, and we are
faced with the challenge of trying to figure it out along the way as we go. Managers should be
equipped with the knowledge in order to have the ability in understanding how groups develop and
manage the group interaction, and task process at each stage (Osland, 2007, P. 256). In order for our
teams to be effective moving forward, I believe it would be beneficial for us to operate accordingly
based off of the model. The model of group development breaks down the process into five different
stages, which are known as: forming, storming, norming, performing, and

King Buchadnezzar 2 Research Paper
King Nebuchadnezzar II (634 562 BCE) was the greatest king of ancient Babylon, succeeding his
father, Nabopolassar. King Nabopolassar had defeated the Assyrians with the help of the Medes and
liberated Babylonia from Assyrian rule. In this way he provided for his son (as Philip II would do for
his son Alexander later) a stable base and ample wealth on which to build an opportunity for greatness
which Nebuchadnezzar took full advantage of. Nebuchadnezzar II defeated the Egyptians and their
allies the Assyrians at Carchemish, subdued Palestine and the region of Syria and, consolidating his
power, controlled all the trade routes across Mesopotamia from the Persian Gulf to the Mediterranean
Sea. Remaining true to the vision of his inaugural address, the great king spent the tolls he collected
and the taxes he gathered in creating a city which, he hoped, would be recognized as a wonder of the
world (and, indeed, his hopes were realized in later writers adding the walls of Babylon and, in
particular, the Ishtar gate to the list of the Seven Wonders of the World). In the forty three years of his
reign, Nebuchadnezzar II made the most of the time employing a vast army of slave labor to surround
his city with walls so thick that chariot races were conducted around the tops and which stretched fifty
six miles in length, encircling an area of two hundred square miles.

Logical vs. Physical Network Design
Logical vs. Physical Network Design The typical Top Down approach to network design uses a
systematic method to plan, design, and implement a new network. Generally, the Top Down
methodology involves analysis of the business requirements and goals, development of the logical
design based on such goals, development of the physical design, and a phase for testing, optimizing,
and documenting the network design. This paper focuses on the activities performed to create a logical
design of a network and then goes on to explain how the physical design is created.
Logical Network Design It is difficult to discuss the principles of the logical design without first
discussing the importance of planning and analysis. After all, the goal of ... Show more content on

Figure 1. A three layered hierarchal design model
Physical Network Design Whereas the logical design of the network most accurately reflects the needs
of the business by depicting network structure with regards to the organizational units and
requirements, the physical design is more concerned with distance, cabling, and connectivity issues.
Generally, a physical network is tied very closely with the building infrastructure and floor plan. It
depicts the physical connections of the devices and no other relationships among them. In contrast, the
logical network establishes the boundaries of subnets as a concept, not a physical connection, using
switching and VLAN techniques. The physical network design would normally follow the logical
design in a typical top down approach. The decisions made during the physical design of the network
involve the implementation suggestions of specific equipment and technology. One such choice is the
overall LAN technology such as Ethernet, FDDI, or Token Ring. The topology chosen in the logical
design usually makes this decision apparent. Also, the determination of devices such as whether to use
hubs or routers is made, how many are required, how many

The Story Of Miss And Me Essay
As the world turns, people come and go. Beginning life as a small child and eventually adopting the
ways of the older people around us and thus complete the cycle of life. In the story of Miss and Me
Mandible Bartholomew merges the mind of an adult with the body of a child who takes on a
controversial role. While the child possessed the knowledge and the sense of a full grown man he was
looked upon as a mere child who could not make wholesome decisions. This unique opportunity to
delve into what it means to be an adult and child is the crucial question being asked. Would people
rather be naïve children with no responsibilities or knowledgeable adults with worldly burdens? Being
a kid is a wonderfully blissful life, depending on the childhood you received. They are less taxing than
adult life despite most situations, and this is a big plus. Playing, eating, being sure to clean up before
meals, and fighting the authority figures that demand a curfew hour are a few concerns of a child s
role. An uncomplicated way of life that many enjoy and there are people around you to take care of
your needs. No bills, no deadlines, no major responsibilities, but no identity. Children barely have a
self concept of who they as they are generally attached to their parents for the better part of seventeen
years. Without fully understanding who they are, children cannot be a wholesome individual but
merely an extension of their parent s family. There is a huge lack of independence in

Shakespeare s Sonnet 12 ( 1609 ) And George Herbert s...
This essay will address the theme of death in Shakespeare s Sonnet 12 (1609) and George Herbert s
poem Virtue (1633). Both Shakespeare and Herbert explore notions of death in their poems, in terms
of the tension between the psychical and the spiritual in a religious context. However, where they
differ is that Shakespeare places emphasis on the importance of the corporeal, and of what is left
behind on earth after death. In contrast, Herbert focuses on the impermanence of the physical, instead
advocating a focus on the eternal life of the soul in heaven.
In the late 16th and early 17th century, London was ravaged by the Black Death, causing many people
to ruminate on death and their mortality. Shakespeare was arguably affected also, indeed death as a
concept is a reoccurring theme within Shakespeare s work; prevalent through sonnets, tragedies and
medieval morality plays through the character of Death (Courtney, 1995). Shakespeare s Sonnet 12
explores the physicality of death, by describing the physicality and impermanence of the natural
world. In the first eight lines this is achieved in a traditional blazon format, perhaps to emphasise the
physicality of earthly life. The speaker ruminates on the temporality of life through the image of death
and decay and concludes that the only way in which to ensure immortality is through procreation and
continuation of the family line, so that he may not be forgotten after death.
In the opening line, the speaker meditates on

To What Extent Can Urban Areas Be Sustainable
Urban sustainability is the idea that an urban area can be organised without excessive reliance on the
surrounding countryside and be able to power itself with renewable sources of energy. The aim of this
is to create the smallest possible environmental footprint and to produce the lowest quantity of
pollution possible, to efficiently use land, compost used materials, recycle it or convert waste to
energy, and to make the urban area overall contribution to climate change minimal. Therefore
allowing the next generations and future generations to have the required resources without
compromising them.
It is estimated that over 50% of the world s population now lives in urban areas and that this will rise
to 70% by 2050. Such a change will ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Curitiba recycles 2/3 of its household waste this figure is one of the highest in the world. The
recycling plants are made up of recycled material and employ people who find it hard to get jobs for
example immigrants and disabled people, this makes the employees feel valued and it helps to
improve the lives.
Colour co ordinating teams collect the waste that has been separated in inorganic and organic waste. It
is then sorted and sent out to other recycling plants to process. Cans are recycled at the fraction of the
cost of producing new ones. There are also special teams, which go out and collect very large items,
which would be too difficult and possibly expensive for someone to try and recycle themselves so
would be fly tipped as a result.
The green exchange was introduced in Curitiba in 1990, this scheme was to encourage the poor to
recycle their waste in return for food produce or bus transport tickets. This has proved to be a valuable
service for the poor as they live in areas, which are hard for the recycling team to access. They deliver
their waste to a waste station and in return for their rubbish they can be exchanged for bus tickets,
food, and school books, this system was a great success and saw Participation among Curitiba
households reached 70% in the 1990s. Curitiba s strategy turned waste into a resource, thereby
unleashing a range of positives. The widespread problem of

Analysis Of Green Day By George W. Bush
Art is an essential form of protest in a time of crisis or for political or social reforms. George W. Bush
is one of the most controversial presidents in history and prompted some of the loudest outcries from
the public. The music world became very involved in this particular fight, many artists from multiple
generations and genres protested Bush. American Idiot by Green Day is one of the best examples and
the most well known protest of Bush and his administration. However, despite its popularity and
acclaim it did receive a lot of criticism. Going against such a powerful and influential person in
society, the band subjected themselves to the possibility of censorship by the media and accusations of
being unpatriotic. Another uproar was ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Although the album did not stop Bush s re election, it was both a harbinger and beneficiary of the
Bush administration s plummeting approval, selling steadily through 2005 (Pareles, Jon. The Morning
After American Idiot. ). American Idiot sold 267000 copies in the US and was number 1 on multiple
chains, like Billboard s top 100. It received the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album in 2005,
Favorite Pop/Rock Album in 2005 at the American Music Awards, Best International Album in 2006
at the BRIT Awards, and won and was nominated for multiple other awards. The awards, critical
acclaim, and general popularity amongst the public shows that a quality record that contains a well
thought out message can still appeal to a broad market (Newman, A Smart Start For Green Day ).
Green Day maintains the idea of being punk insurgents, rebellious musicians who push boundaries
and more closely align with teenage angst rather than adults. In spite of their reputation, Green Day
was criticized by fans of going sappy, especially in regards Wake Me Up When September Ends
which was centered around the profound effect the death of his father had on Armstrong. In their video
for Wake Me Up When September Ends, Green Day exploits their watchers emotions to gain

Currently, business processes are more complex and interconnected than ever before and they discard
traditional organizational structures (Hass 2016). By using alternative methodologies instead of
traditional ones, organizations can handle exceptional changes, time to market compression, rapidly
changing technologies and increasing complexity at every turn (Hass 2016). Overview of Traditional
Methodologies Traditional methodologies are characterized by a sequential series of steps like
requirement definition, planning, building, testing and deployment (Optimus Information 2016). There
are various traditional methodologies but three most substantial ones are Waterfall, Spiral Model and
Unified Process (Awad 2005, p. 3). Waterfall Royce presented this SDLC and it comprises of
sequential completion of every phase before moving on to next phase. It is kind of impractical
methodology because waterfall states that requirements should be fully completed followed by
completion of analysis and design (Aitken Ilango 2013, p. 4752). It doesn t give the leverage in
modification of requirements during later stages. Spiral Model It combines prototyping and design in
order to get advantages of bottom up as well top down notions. It is an advanced form of waterfall
method. The four main phases include objective setting, risk assessment,

Mary Oliver Rhetorical Analysis Essay
The excerpt from Mary Oliver s Building the House serves as a way to describe what happens during
the poetry writing process. Although Mary Oliver believes that writing poetry is hard work, she uses
extended metaphor, juxtaposition, and point of view to describe the writing process in comparison of
building a house, which shows that Oliver sees poetry as something that involves mental labor which
is a different challenge than physical labor . Through the use of extended metaphor, Mary Oliver is
allowed to express both the mentality and physicality when writing a poem, which is able to show the
differences and similarities by comparison. The extended metaphor works to compare the process of
writing poetry to that of building a house, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Hume And David Hume s Theory Of Utilitarianism
Utilitarianism
Utilitarianism talks about political obligation from an absolutely distinct view. The utilitarian theory
postulates that as human activity is essentially based on the element of utility evolved, likewise man
takes into account the happiness and sorrow accruing from obeying the orders of the state and the
political obligation depends purely on the element of utility inherent in it.
Utilitarianism is a significant school of thought, which also provides a solid base for political
obligation as a mixture of ethical and political principles. It dominated the English political thought
from middle of the 18th century to the middle of nineteenth century. David Hume was the founder of
the utilitarian concept but it was Jeremy Bentham who made it so much popular. He came into contact
with James Mill, Malthus and Ricardo, and brought into existence the group of ... Show more content

Pleasure provides a strong motive to the actions of an individual. Francis Hutcheson enunciated this
idea in a more concrete form and defined it as greatest pleasure of the greatest number . Mill coined
the term utilitarianism and this term was enunciated as the criterion of every action of the state based
on utility.
The standard of utility was the satisfaction or happiness of the individual. Utilitarian is very much
pragmatic and moreover it promoted morality as it judges the actions of an individual on the basis of
outcome, if the action brings happiness to people, it is considered good and vice versa. Persons may
differ in their thinking and their way of getting of happiness, here comes the need of government.
Certain actions are harmful to public happiness and those actions should be considered crimes and
appropriate punishment should be awarded to the persons committing such crimes. After all,
utilitarianism is about greatest happiness of greatest

Traffic Congestion and the Pollution it Creates is...
According to the Toronto Environmental Office, vehicles are responsible for 35% of all greenhouse
gases (GHG) produced in Toronto (City of Toronto, 2011), and the Clean Air Partnership estimates
that idling in the GTHA wastes 90 million litres of fuel each year (ibid), which further justifies the
need to combat gridlock and traffic congestion with effective government policies. Air is a
transboundary problem therefore no one jurisdiction, whether it is a municipality, province, country or
continent, can completely control the air in which its residents breathe in. In addition, each have their
own authority to uphold air quality for its residents but cannot control the air pollution coming in from
neighbouring provinces and countries. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Cooperation will be key in combating decreasing air quality as a result of gridlock and traffic
congestion.
Although air quality falls under different jurisdictions and is subject to various laws and regulations
that cross municipal and provincial jurisdictions, municipal governments can exert control, even with
their limited powers, by creating bylaws that help increase the air quality in Toronto. On top of
creating bylaws within the city, the municipalities must ensure that they work with the different levels
of governments to pass worthwhile laws and regulations across the province that will help reverse the
decreasing air quality in the GTHA and in the province in general. Traffic Congestion has been a
problem for those living in the city and those commuting to the city for years now. The Toronto
Region Board of Trade (2013) points out how investing in the regional transportation plan, also known
as The Big Move, which was developed by the Province s regional transportation agency Metrolinx, is
key to improving roads and highways for drivers across the GTHA (p. 2) and therefore decreasing the
negative affects from gridlock and traffic congestion. There a number of ways improvements can be
made including, but not limited to, investing in public transportation, improving intraregional
bottlenecks (ibid.) and increasing tickets and fines (Heisey, 2013, p. 2), along with many other
important changes, all of which will require legal action and political cooperation.

For wireless underwater communication, there are several means such as radio waves, optical waves
and acoustics.
Radio waves:
Radio wave has extra low frequency (30 Hz 300 Hz) and it works well to propagate any distance in
sea water. But, for its low frequency, it is needed high transmission power and large antennas.
Optical waves:
An optical wave for wireless communication has big advantage as it exceed 1 Giga bps. It can t cross
water boundary easily, suffers from severe absorption and scattering suspending particles and
planktons is significant Moderate link range (up to tens of meters).
Acoustics:
.As underwater acoustic communication is a technique of sending and receiving message below water
but there are some main limitations and challenges like time variations of the channel, available
bandwidth (small), signal attenuation (strong), multi path propagation, under water communication is
difficult especially for long distances.
Attenuation of Acoustic Propagation
Absorption is one of the draw backs for underwater acoustic channel caused by the water viscosity,
which depends on temperature and salinity (for larger frequencies), and the chemical composition of

The Consequences Of King Henry VIII
King Henry VIII Tudor was greedy, selfish and a very ambitious man in his time. Anything that Henry
wanted, he would strive to make sure that he received it and it happened, no matter what the costs
were. This includes divorcing all of his wives, even though such divorces were against Catholics
theologies. Reigning between 1509 and 1547, Henry VIII became the most famous king for all of the
wives he ended up marrying and then divorcing. This issue was so popular during Henry s reign, that a
rhyme was even created to summarize the fates of all of his wives, divorced, beheaded, died, divorced,
beheaded, survived, but what was the real reason Henry decided to divorce, and sometimes behead,
his wives? Henry would say that he divorced his wives because they cheated him in the relationship,
they tricked Henry into marrying them out of love or the marriage was not a valid one. But in all
actuality, Henry VIII only married to get something out of the relationship that would benefit himself
or how he controlled his country. If his wife did not provide what he wanted and needed, he would
divorce her and move on to the next wife. This tactic was shown through his first wife Queen
Katherine of Aragon in the letters that Cardinal Campeggio wrote about the King s personal marriage
situation to Queen Katherine, known as The King s Matter. Cardinal Campeggio, himself, wrote in a
letter to Pope Clement VII, about the time King Henry privately came to him asking about an
annulment. Campeggio wrote that he talked to Henry for four hours discussing two matters. The first
was why Henry should not go through with the annulment of his marriage with Queen Katherine.
Campeggio suggested that he should not seek an annulment because it would only start trouble within
the country because it would look scandalous. Campeggio stated, I exhorted him not to attempt this
matter, in order to confirm and clear his conscience, to establish the succession of the kingdom and to
avoid scandals. Campeggio also suggested that seeking an annulment would only increase tension and
Henry should worry about more about pressing issues, such as finding an heir, but little did
Campeggio know, annulling Henry s marriage to Queen Katherine was

  • 2. A Trip To Panama City Beach Once upon a time there was a family of five named the Parks. The Parks family included three children and their two parents who lived in Elkhorn, California. There were two girls and one boy out of the children. Their names were Emma, Naomi, and Lucas. Emma is fifteen years old, Naomi is four years old, and Lucas is thirteen years old. They were all planning to take a trip to Panama City Beach, Florida for their summer vacation. They wanted to go and explore the unique restaurants, surf shops, high cliffs, and the beautiful nature there that they did not have in California. Everyone was thrilled to soak up some sun on the beach and explore the beautiful region although, Lucas had the California State Surfing Conference on his mind. Lucas was very focused on practicing his surfing for the very important California State Surfing Conference. Every day. Lucas practices ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Naomi repetitively chanted at Lucas, You smell like poo poo, you smell like poo poo, you smell like doggy doo doo! Lucas laughed with the rest of the family because of his sisters silly chant. Lucas was a very fun person to be around and loved to spend time with his family. Although. once he is about to surf, he immediately focuses on surfing and zones everything else out. Once the Parks family arrived in Panama City Beach, they checked into their hotel and plopped on the purple pillows that were properly lyed on their beds and relaxed after their exhausting car ride. . After an hour nap, the kids were desperate to go to the beach to play in the damp sand, soak up some soothing sunlight, and ride the huge waves. Their parents let them go to the beach every day of the week as long as they were together in the atmosphere hotter than the inside of a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. How Does Willy Russell Create Mood and Atmosphere in the... In the Summer Sequence Willy Russell s three main protagonists are shown to grow up from the ages of 15 to 18, thus becoming adults throughout the song. This means that the sequence acts as a watershed in the respect that it marks a major turning point in the play. This is shown through the atmosphere that Russell creates, which goes from fairly positive, hopeful tone to a more cynical and desperate one over the duration of the sequence. Russell uses several techniques to create these atmospheres throughout. In the opening of the Summer Sequence the atmosphere is clearly a happy one, which is shown by Russell by using words like young, free and innocent to describe the characters. In this section, the word innocent is used twice. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This explicitly refers to the brothers fate in a way in which the last section didn t, so the tone is far more marred by the eventuality of their deaths. This date is also referenced when Russell extends the metaphor, fate the later seasons bring , which causes the audience to remember the scene at the very beginning of the play, preventing them from being drawn into the initial happiness of the three teenagers in this sequence. Again, it refers to Linda being caught in the middle of the pair, foreshadowing their final argument. It also refers to Linda paying a price , a theme that was initially shown in the song Easy Terms , sung by Mrs Johnstone, and in both cases foreshadows the price they ll have to pay for their involvement in the twins lives. The music becomes far more serious and sinister, a repetitive tense note with no actual melody. In the next section a recurring theme is shown with the references to time. This creates a sad, melancholic atmosphere, as the audience is aware of the character s significant lack of time together, but the characters are not, so their happy unawareness and this dramatic irony is slightly poignant. Again, fate is reference by the narrator care not for what s at the end of the day , again forcing the audience to remember the fate of the boys, this ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 5. Tutankhamun Burial Ancient Egypt revolved around the belief that one was reborn after death and would be guaranteed eternal life if the body was preserved and buried properly. Tutankhamun became a pharaoh of Egypt at the age of nine during the 18th Dynasty. His rain lasted approximately 10 years when he died unexpectedly and consequently his tomb and burial was rushed leaving him with a much smaller and less impressive tomb that was common for 18th dynasty tombs. Tutankhamun s tomb was discovered still sealed by British archaeologist Howard Carter in 1922 in the Valley of the Kings. The reason for that are poverty, sexual partners, gender, and almost non existing health care. The epidemic started in late 70s due to prostitution, blood transfusion and unprotected sex. Around the same time the epidemic was discovered in the USA, and the virus was found in Haitians immigrants. Because of that Haiti become one of the risk factors for HIV. The stigma brought disastrous consequences to the whole country, including the collapse of tourism. • 7. Fractal Time FRACTAL TIME (ESSAY) Introduction In his book, first published in 2009, Fractal Time: The Secret of 2012 and a New World Age , Gregg Braden gave wonderful clues into what we would expect to occur in our world and universe by the year 2012. Though years have passed since the first publication of the book, the information in the book remains relevant to us today. Gregg labours to elaborate how it is possible to read the past in order to discover what the future holds for us in our world and universe, and amazingly, even in our personal lives and relationships. This paper is written in order to analyse the Fractal Time book to find out what practical lessons we can pick from it. Personal views on how to apply the concepts presented in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He begins by stating that even if the conditions of the past can keep on repeating, the events do not have to repeat, except we choose. He makes it clear that we have a choice to make, either to take a step for better or for worse. He solidifies this point by providing us with important discoveries, like the Quantum Energy theory, the power of positive emotions and our Heart s Magnetic field influence on our environment all of which depend on the power of our choice. Gregg clarifies that a growing number of scientists have arrived at an inescapable conclusion that there s a place called The Realm of Quantum Energy. These scientists have concluded that it is at this place where all things begin, and where all things are possible and the kind of thoughts, feelings, emotions, and beliefs we choose to have at this point is what will influence the results of our circumstances regardless of the conditions we may be faced with. In this place it is believed, the atoms of matter are influenced by thought, feeling, emotion, and belief to become the reality of our world. This quantum energy place is created at the start of every cycle. Lessons Realized from the Book I have deduced quite a number of lessons from the book, nevertheless I will choose to talk about what I think are the most important ones to me. Firstly, I have learnt that it is vital to reflect on our past, because in it we find the evident cycles of the future which ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The author does not clearly state his opinion of this, but he is clearly affected by it or he would have not mentioned it. The poem two scavengers... only has descriptions of the two sets of people for comparative purposes. These being the garbage men and the cool couple. The poet might prefer the garbage men, this is due to the words he uses to describe the garbage men. The garbage men up since four a.m. grungy from their route on the way home. This shows that the author feels sympathy for the two men, having to do the hard tasks that they do. The final verse suggests that the two sets of people should perhaps not be treated so differently. The cool couple are treated as special people and have it easy where as the Garbage men have hard tasks to do but are treated much worse than the couple. This conveys the point that there should be equality in society. The language used in night of the scorpion has a very religious aspect to it. This shows the peasants beliefs in god. As stated above, apathy can help motivate some people. In fact, the Greeks had an entirely different idea behind the word apathy. In the original Greek word, apatheia was defined as the insensibility to pain or suffering. The Greeks had an idea that one should push through and even ignore pain. In this way of thinking, the Greeks believed being they could be objective or impartial due to non suffering. When properly reflected upon, apathy can, in fact, inspire a person to push past the fear of pain or failure. It is important to understand that failure will happen, yet when it does we must bounce back, learn from our mistakes, and press on. We cannot hide from failure, it will come regardless, or we will grow apathetic to the situation. If we truly have an interest in the goal, then it is imperative to stand up and face what may happen. While it may hurt, and may even in fact frighten us, we must push forward. We must not concern ourselves with the pain, the fear, and the failure and focus on the goal. Kurosawa and Shakespeare Introduction: The greatest narratives in human history don t just resurface in critical analysis but are also given new life when channeled through modern media. This is well exemplified by legendary Japanese filmmaker Akira Kurosawa s 1985 epic, Ran. The highly regarded and high budgeted film, based on William Shakespeare s 1606 play King Lear, demonstrates the power retained by the original play even when dramatically recontextualized. Indeed, in a comparative discussion of King Lear and Hidetora, his counterpart in the Kurosawa film, we are confronted with the universal themes of power, mortality, vanity and insanity. These are the themes that connect not just both pieces but the otherwise vastly historical periods and cultures represented within. Compare: The strongest point of comparison between the two characters in question is their mutual descent into mental instability and the degree to which this influences their behavior. Indeed, the common ground in the two stories is at the outset, when an ailing ruler is manipulated into divided his kingdom amongst his children. This division of territories, an event stimulated by individual vanity and infirmity, would have consequences kingdom wide. The unraveling of civility and familial bonds which would occur thereafter is common to both tellings. Contrast: Perhaps the most important conceptual difference between the fading monarch presented in either story is the degree to which ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 14. Rembrandt s Christ In The Storm On The Sea Of Galilee A painting captures a single moment. Most of the time, the audience does not see what happens before and after the moment of the piece, but Rembrandt s Christ in the Storm on the Sea of Galilee is his depiction of Mark 4:35:39, a story that most children learn in Sunday School. Mark 4:35 36 tells the moments before the storm: On that day, when evening had come, He told them, Let s cross over to the other side of the sea. So they left the crowd and took Him along since He was already in the boat. And other boats were with Him (The Bible). Raetta Parker notes, Black is a mysterious color associated with fear and the unknown and denotes strength (Parker). For this purpose, Rembrandt uses the storm to symbolize the hard times, or storms , in a person s life. In this case, the strength of the storm is overpowering the boat, making it hard for the disciples to keep the boat from being destroyed and overtaken. By looking at the picture, the storm has cause one of the riggings to break free from the boat and tore the sail, not standing a chance against the strong winds the storm is throwing at them. Also, the dark colors of the overcast prevent the disciples from being able to see the shores. There is no place for the disciples to dock the boat until the storm passes by, stuck in the middle of the storm Comparing the painting to life s challenges, people can often be broken emotionally or physically, whether it may be a death of a loved one or having to face a terminal illness. Introduction Additive layer manufacturing, also known as Three Dimensional (3D) printing, provides a unique fabrication process that allows users to produce structurally complex components by the successive fusion of layers [1]. This technique offers businesses and consumers the ability to quickly develop custom components on demand and at a lower economical cost [2]. In 2016, a PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC) report indicates that, out of 71% of US manufactures implementing 3D printing and 42% believe the volume of 3D printer use will increase in the next three to five years [3]. The impact of 3D printing can already be seen in both industrial and consumer markets [2]. The 2015 Wohlers Associates report stated that 32.5% of all Additive manufactured objects were used for functional components. Additionally, the report detailed the 3D printing industry accounted for $5.165 billion of revenue [4]. The aviation, medical, automotive, and manufacturing industries are currently utilizing 3D printing [4 9]. Airbus, within the aviation industry, recently produced the world s largest 3D printed cabin component. The component produced is a dividing wall that sits between the passenger seating and galley. General Electric is currently 3D printing jet engine fuel nozzles and forecast that 100,000 parts will be created by their Aviation division using 3D printers by 2020 [10]. Theology Liberation hermeneutics Liberation theology experience DEVELOPMENT OF LIBERATION HERMENEUTICS Liberation hermeneutics developed a three part agenda. In opposition to the stated objectives of many forms of classical theology, experience takes precedence over theory. The dominant experience of a majority of people in the two thirds world, in which liberation theology emerged, is the experience of poverty suffering malnutrition, lack of access to basic human rights, education, clean water, medicine and the like. Hence first, a liberation hermeneutics begins with the experience of the injustice of poverty. Second it attempts to analyse or assess the reasons of this impoverished existence. • 24. King Buchadnezzar 2 Research Paper King Nebuchadnezzar II (634 562 BCE) was the greatest king of ancient Babylon, succeeding his father, Nabopolassar. King Nabopolassar had defeated the Assyrians with the help of the Medes and liberated Babylonia from Assyrian rule. In this way he provided for his son (as Philip II would do for his son Alexander later) a stable base and ample wealth on which to build an opportunity for greatness which Nebuchadnezzar took full advantage of. Nebuchadnezzar II defeated the Egyptians and their allies the Assyrians at Carchemish, subdued Palestine and the region of Syria and, consolidating his power, controlled all the trade routes across Mesopotamia from the Persian Gulf to the Mediterranean Sea. Remaining true to the vision of his inaugural address, the great king spent the tolls he collected and the taxes he gathered in creating a city which, he hoped, would be recognized as a wonder of the world (and, indeed, his hopes were realized in later writers adding the walls of Babylon and, in particular, the Ishtar gate to the list of the Seven Wonders of the World). In the forty three years of his reign, Nebuchadnezzar II made the most of the time employing a vast army of slave labor to surround his city with walls so thick that chariot races were conducted around the tops and which stretched fifty six miles in length, encircling an area of two hundred square miles. ... • 27. Shakespeare s Sonnet 12 ( 1609 ) And George Herbert s... This essay will address the theme of death in Shakespeare s Sonnet 12 (1609) and George Herbert s poem Virtue (1633). Both Shakespeare and Herbert explore notions of death in their poems, in terms of the tension between the psychical and the spiritual in a religious context. However, where they differ is that Shakespeare places emphasis on the importance of the corporeal, and of what is left behind on earth after death. In contrast, Herbert focuses on the impermanence of the physical, instead advocating a focus on the eternal life of the soul in heaven. In the late 16th and early 17th century, London was ravaged by the Black Death, causing many people to ruminate on death and their mortality. Shakespeare was arguably affected also, indeed death as a concept is a reoccurring theme within Shakespeare s work; prevalent through sonnets, tragedies and medieval morality plays through the character of Death (Courtney, 1995). Shakespeare s Sonnet 12 explores the physicality of death, by describing the physicality and impermanence of the natural world. In the first eight lines this is achieved in a traditional blazon format, perhaps to emphasise the physicality of earthly life. The speaker ruminates on the temporality of life through the image of death and decay and concludes that the only way in which to ensure immortality is through procreation and continuation of the family line, so that he may not be forgotten after death. • 35. Thesis Statement On Underwater Communication Introduction Now a days Wireless communication is a part and parcel of our daily life. Underwater Wireless Communications is one of them. Many researches have been done since last two decade and still going on for getting more economy. The world s oceans, sea, river etc has grab the 2/3 part of this earth. So, wireless information transmission underwater bears great significant. Goal Thesis Outline There are 3 major part of this thesis given below: First part consist background of underwater communication, various options of underwater communication, underwater channel as most challenging channels. The second part consist OFDM implementation for underwater communication including basic principle of OFDM. The third part consist the simulation ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... For wireless underwater communication, there are several means such as radio waves, optical waves and acoustics. Radio waves: Radio wave has extra low frequency (30 Hz 300 Hz) and it works well to propagate any distance in sea water. But, for its low frequency, it is needed high transmission power and large antennas. Optical waves: An optical wave for wireless communication has big advantage as it exceed 1 Giga bps. It can t cross water boundary easily, suffers from severe absorption and scattering suspending particles and planktons is significant Moderate link range (up to tens of meters). Acoustics: .As underwater acoustic communication is a technique of sending and receiving message below water but there are some main limitations and challenges like time variations of the channel, available bandwidth (small), signal attenuation (strong), multi path propagation, under water communication is difficult especially for long distances. Attenuation of Acoustic Propagation Absorption is one of the draw backs for underwater acoustic channel caused by the water viscosity, which depends on temperature and salinity (for larger frequencies), and the chemical composition of the seawater (for ... • 36. The Consequences Of King Henry VIII King Henry VIII Tudor was greedy, selfish and a very ambitious man in his time. Anything that Henry wanted, he would strive to make sure that he received it and it happened, no matter what the costs were. This includes divorcing all of his wives, even though such divorces were against Catholics theologies. Reigning between 1509 and 1547, Henry VIII became the most famous king for all of the wives he ended up marrying and then divorcing. This issue was so popular during Henry s reign, that a rhyme was even created to summarize the fates of all of his wives, divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived, but what was the real reason Henry decided to divorce, and sometimes behead, his wives? Henry would say that he divorced his wives because they cheated him in the relationship, they tricked Henry into marrying them out of love or the marriage was not a valid one. But in all actuality, Henry VIII only married to get something out of the relationship that would benefit himself or how he controlled his country. If his wife did not provide what he wanted and needed, he would divorce her and move on to the next wife. This tactic was shown through his first wife Queen Katherine of Aragon in the letters that Cardinal Campeggio wrote about the King s personal marriage situation to Queen Katherine, known as The King s Matter. Cardinal Campeggio, himself, wrote in a letter to Pope Clement VII, about the time King Henry privately came to him asking about an annulment. Campeggio wrote that he talked to Henry for four hours discussing two matters. The first was why Henry should not go through with the annulment of his marriage with Queen Katherine. Campeggio suggested that he should not seek an annulment because it would only start trouble within the country because it would look scandalous. Campeggio stated, I exhorted him not to attempt this matter, in order to confirm and clear his conscience, to establish the succession of the kingdom and to avoid scandals. Campeggio also suggested that seeking an annulment would only increase tension and Henry should worry about more about pressing issues, such as finding an heir, but little did Campeggio know, annulling Henry s marriage to Queen Katherine was ...
