FMP idea?
I’mplanningto make a musicvideo because it was
one of my bestprojects throughoutthecourse. I
gained practical experience with filming
equipmentandediting software.
Why have youdecided to makeit? Because throughoutthecourse, the music video
project was one of my strongestprojects, and I
want to improvemy filming, editing and
storytellingskills.
What aboutyourproject makesit importantto
you?
Overall, the storytellingandthe editing because
they are the mostimportantelements which help
tell the story.

Research Targets
1. Think about potential locations in detail.
Do experiments in each location to see if
they will work.
2. Think aboutcolour schemes which work
well.
3. Look at different shottypes, composition
andthink aboutwhatthe composition
means.
4. Look at different camera angles, are they
high or low? What dothey capture?

5. When I dothe research, I will use
different resources (e.g books/magazines)
insteadof just lookingonthe internet for
information.
Influences
I want my music videoto be either comedic or
dramatic. My influences are TV showslike ‘The Big
Bang Theory’ and‘CoronationStreet’.
What effect do youwant to haveon your
audience when they see yourproject?
I want the audience to be entertained because I
plan to makea music video from the popgenre. I
want the videoto be gripping, butin a humorous
way.

2. Describe the tone/mood/styleofyourproject
[which productiontechniques/characteristicsare
youemploying?]
Tone – I want the tone of the storyline be upbeat,
butdramatic in a humorousway sothe audience
will be entertained and gripped. I plan tomake
the storylinequite dark because there will be a
villain character.
I want the tone of the music tobe upbeat, butit
needs to sounddramaticwhich will help create a
suspenseful, dark atmosphere.
Mood – I want the moodof the video to be
thrilling to keep the audience gripped. I want the
audience to feel angry with the villain character,
andI want them to feel sympatheticfor the
innocentcharacter(s) I plan to putin.
Why have youdecided to makeyour project in
this style?
The last music videoI made had a contemporary
look which didn’twork because of where it was
set. I’vedecided to makethis video in thisstyle
because it will keepthe audience grippedand
entertained.
