5. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• One repetition have found within my mood board is the repeated use of the colour black the reason being for its
repeated use is that it make a great background to have an image contrast it meaning the image will stand out
more to the viewer or audience.
• Another repetition I have found within the images on my mood board is the image style in which most of the
images have a cartoon style to them allowing for the images to be more expressive.
• A third repetition I have found within the images of my mood board is that of their mood with some being
humours or giving a sense of grandness like a quest or mission which help draws an audience in.
• A fourth repetition I have found within the image of my mood board is that the logos I have for different channels
only have one thing in them to represent the channel itself which tells me that to have a logo be remembered it
needs to be simple but be different enough to stand on it own among others.
• A final repetition I have found within the images of my mood board is that of the fonts which like the images they
are tied to as in some way each font ties into the theme of that image making each or these products stand out
from one another.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• A way my mood board will influence my final work is by giving me a basis standard to what my logo should be like
both simple but different enough to stand out from the rest.
• Another way my mood board will influence my work is by having images I do like thumbnails poster or channel art
in general will have a humours mood to them with them sometimes having a grandness to them like an adventure
if I choose to.
• A final way my mood board will influence my final work is that the image styles for my product will have a
cartoonish image style to them allowing them to be very expressive and making the images more humours.

6. Informal Proposal
Current Idea
Concept The idea I have for my final major project is to do media based products to do with a
YouTube gaming review channel and its main content focus is gaming reviews

The equipment I am going to need to make my products are a capture card for back
ground footage whilst the review is going on, A microphone or audio recorder to
record my opinions for the review, adobe premier to help edit both the audio and
footage for cutting out unneeded parts in footage and mistakes in line readings, and
finally adobe Photoshop to draw up and edit designs for both the logo and t-shirt
even the poster if time is found.
Audience The primary audience I am aiming for my product is 14-17 year old men in the
Psychographic group of belongers and there social status being middle class with my
secondary audience being 21–30 year old women in the same Psychographic group
of belongers and the social status being again middle class.

7. Choices
Discounted ideas Reasons for not choosing this project
music band • It would take to long to write lyrics and compose music for a song the band can
perform meaning the final major project would fall behind.
• I have no technical experience when it comes to editing music together or even how
its done so the song I make in post production may sound terrible.
• Scheduling would be a problem as if I was to find the people I needed for the band
their daily schedules may be a problem for both recording the music and doing photo
shoots meaning less time can be dedicated to post production making the album
cover and the pieces of merchandise to go with the band.
movie • It would be too expensive for transportation to different location to shoot from.
• I have no experience when it come to recording footage on a camera so it would take
too long for me to learn the working on a time limit given to get the final project
prepared and made.
• Scheduling problems as I would have to schedule to use college cameras to record
footage but the day I have scheduled to borrow a camera may be a day were the actor
is busy and cannot do a scene.
• Recruiting actors is a problem as if a I was able to get and actor or actors their daily
schedule may not fit with the project schedule meaning the final major project may
fall behind as some days of shooting may have to be missed meaning less time for
editing in post production.
