2. Information
We have decided that we need to show the
credits in a very dynamic way this way the credits
will be a lot better along with the opening
sequence . But we don’t want the credits to take
over the scenes because we still want the horror
genre to be connoted . So we will do the credits in
a very clever way .
3. Making it a good production
We have thought a lot about making are opening
sequence a good production . For our genre of
physiological horror it is key that we make the
faces scary with make up , it is also key that we
use horror sound because it mixes with are genre
. Certain sound in a horror can connote a lot of
aspects within horror which could be thinking
what the sound reminds of us e.g. Ghost , Dark
etc. The main sound we would be using would be
stretching noises and horror related sounds to
show the genres full potential .
4. What not to do in a production
To make our production a good production we
have to make sure that we do certain things well .
We need to make sure are planning up the
production is short in some places and not all in
long essay form because if it was we wouldn’t be
able to look at all the planning aspects we need
to . One main thing we need to remember is that
when we get people to act they need to treat it as
a serious horror them so that the viewer feels the
scare factor , The last thing we needed to bare in
mind is that wherever we film we need to get
permission if its private land otherwise we cant
film.
5. Setting and Make-up techniques
We have looked at many set techniques and
make up techniques on YouTube , this is for
mostly the graphic scenes where we can use
blood techniques because it can make the genre
of horror more disturbing for the viewer . We can
also use certain types of lighting on set to show
the main things that we want to show so we can
use certain lights to convey this . We also seen
YouTube tutorials on how to make fake blood fall
out or even how to make a character bleed .
