2. I asked 5 people whilst in Leeds what is their
opinions on my final product. I asked 3
females and 2 males who were within the my
target age of 16-25 year olds. This is the
response they gave.
3. “The beginning
of the paragraph
is a bit boring.
You can’t really
see where is
starts, it just
jumps into the
text”
4. Listening to my
feedback, I decided to
add a drop cap to the
beginning of my text.
This had improved my
magazine because it
draws the reader’s
attention to the
beginning of the
paragraph, making them
want to read further.
Furthermore it is a
convention of double
page spreads.
5. “The quote doesn’t
really stand out
enough. It would be
easy to overlook
this.”
6. To attract my
reader’s attention
to my pull quote, I
decided to use a
graphic feature
around it. I think
adding the large
white speech marks
makes the pull
quote stand out
and adds more
interest for the
reader. It also
breaks up the
amount of text and
image on the page.
8. “You need to
reduce the
spacing
between the
lines of your
coverlines.
They are all the
same and they
looks boring.”
9. I reduced the spacing
between the lines of
the cover-lines and
increased the font.
This makes the
overall appearance of
the magazine more
professional.
